The Mitel 142d can be used in different communications systems, including:
• MiVoice 5000
• Opencom
• Mitel 100
• Mitel SIP-DECT
The functions and features available depend on the communications system. Please
refer to the complete User Guide on our homepage www.mitel.com.
NOTES ON SAFETY
It is imperative that you observe the following instructions when setting up, connecting
and using the telephone.
• Place the charger cradle on a non-slip surface.
• Lay the connection cable so it cannot cause accidents!
• Only clean your telephone with a slightly moist cloth.
• Do not use your telephone in explosive areas.
• Do not use the Mitel 142d in wet environments (e.g. bathrooms).
• Protect your telephone from moisture, dust, liquids and gases.
• Only use approved accessories.
• Only use the plug-in power supply provided (23-00-1071-00).
• Always switch off the handset before removing the battery.
Do not place the handset or the charger cradle …
• close to heat sources
• in direct sunlight
• next to other electrical devices
Never
• open the charger cradle or the handset (except for the battery compartment cover)
yourself!
• touch the plug contacts with pointed metallic objects!
• carry the charger cradle by the connection cable!
Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.

Das Mitel 142d kann an unterschiedlichen Telefonsystemen betrieben werden:

Die Verfügbarkeit der Funktionen ist ebenfalls vom System abhängig. Beachten Sie
bitte auch die ausführlichen Bedienungsanleitungen auf unserer Homepage
www.mitel.com.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Beachten Sie beim Aufstellen, Anschließen und Bedienen des Telefons unbedingt die
folgenden Hinweise:
• Stellen Sie die Ladeschale auf eine rutschfeste Unterlage.
• Verlegen Sie das Anschlusskabel unfallsicher!
• Reinigen Sie Ihr Telefon nur mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch.
• Benutzen Sie Ihr Telefon nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen.
• Benutzen Sie Mitel 142d nicht in Feuchträumen (z. B. Bad).
• Schützen Sie Ihr Telefon vor Nässe, Staub, aggressiven Flüssigkeiten und
Dämpfen.
• Schließen Sie nur zugelassenes Zubehör an.
• Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Steckernetzgerät (23-00-1071-00).
• Schalten Sie immer das Mobilteil aus, bevor Sie die Akkus entnehmen.
Legen Sie das Mobilteil bzw. stellen Sie die Ladeschale nicht ...
• in die Nähe von Wärmequellen
• in direkte Sonneneinstrahlung
• in die Nähe von anderen elektrischen Geräten
Niemals
• die Ladeschale oder das Mobilteil (bis auf den Akkufachdeckel) selbst öffnen!
• die Steckkontakte mit spitzen und metallischen Gegenständen berühren!
• die Ladeschale an dem Anschlusskabel tragen!
Entsorgung gebrauchter Akkus nach Anleitung.

Le terminal Mitel 142d peut être utilisé avec différents systèmes de communication:
• MiVoice 5000
• OpenCom
• Mitel 100
• Mitel SIP-DECT
Il est possible que le mode de fonctionnement soit légèrement différent en fonction du
système. Les caractéristiques et fonctions présentées dans ce document sont
complétées et détaillées dans le Guide Utilisateur, accessible sur notre site web:
www.mitel.com.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Lors de l'installation, du raccordement et de l'utilisation du téléphone, respectez
impérativement les consignes suivantes:
• Posez la base de recharge sur une surface non glissante.
• Posez le câble de raccordement de façon à éviter tout accident !
• Nettoyez le téléphone uniquement à l'aide d'un chiffon légèrement humide.
• N'utilisez pas votre téléphone dans des zones exposées à des risques d'explosion.
• Votre Mitel 142d doit être tenu hors des environnements humides (p. ex. salle de
bains).
• Préservez votre téléphone de l'humidité, de la poussière, des liquides agressifs et
des vapeurs.
• Raccordez uniquement les accessoires autorisés.
• Utilisez uniquement l'adaptateur secteur fourni (23-00-1071-00).
• Éteignez toujours le combiné avant d'en retirer les accumulateurs.
Le combiné et son chargeur de bureau doivent être tenus:
• à l'abri des sources de chaleur
• à l'abri des rayons de soleil directs
• loin des autres appareils électriques
Ne jamais ...
• ouvrir le chargeur de bureau ou le combiné (à l'exception de la trappe batteries)!
• mettre les connecteurs en contact avec des objets pointus et métalliques!
• saisir le socle de bureau par le câble de raccordement!
Eliminer les batteries utilisées selon les instructions.
