Safety Warnings
WARNING: Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat
such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot.
WARNING: Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use
only parts approved by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another
product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or
strangulation, e.g. strings, blinds/curtain cords, etc.
WARNING: Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
WARNING: Keep medication and small items that a child could choke on,
away from the cot.
WARNING: Folding cots with padded rims should not be used if the coverings
have been damaged or bitten through.
The cot is ready for use only when the locking mechanisms are engaged.
Check that the locking mechanisms are fully engaged before cot is used.
To prevent injury from falling, discontinue using the Porta Cot if your child is
able to climb out.
Never leave your child unattended in the Porta Cot, especially when they are
not sleeping.
The Porta Cot is suitable for children from birth (maximum weight 15kg).
The thickness of the mattress chosen should be such that the internal height
(surface of the mattress to the upper edge of the cot frame) is at least 500mm
in the lowest position of the cot base and at least 200mm in the highest position
of the cot base.
Please note the marking inside the cot for mattress information.
The mattress should be no more than 30mm shorter or narrower that the
internal length or width of the cot.
BEFORE ASSEMBLING THIS COT READ AND UNDERSTAND THE
INSTRUCTIONS.
Instructions for checking that the assembly of the folding cot is correct and safe.
Instruction for the safe operation of the folding cot and accessories with any
precautions required to prevent injury.
Do not usemattress other than the one supplied by the manufacturer.
Incorrect mattress can causedeath.
Use only accessoriesas recommended by the manufacturers. Ensurethe top
rails and base are fully locked.
Ensureall fastening devices are secured, tightened and maintained. Stop using
this cot if any part of the cot is broken, torn or missing. Keep children away
when assembling/disassembling the cot.
Keep the folding cot clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE.

Unzip the Carry Bag and remove the frame and Sleeping Mat.
Place the cot in a vertical position and open the Velcro fasteners to
remove the Sleeping Mat.
With the feet on the floor, pull the feet apart so they are approximately
60cm / 24” apart.
Lift the short sides of the cot upwards until they lock into position.
Keep the centre of the base raised when locking or unlocking the sides.

Lift the long sides of the cot upwards until they lock into position.
Check that all four sides have engaged correctly by pressing down at
their centres.
If you have difficulty locking sides, lift the centre of the base a little
higher and try again.
Push the centre of the bed base downwards until it audibly locks into
place.

Lift the long sides of the cot upwards until they lock into position.
Check that all four sides have engaged correctly by pressing down at
their centres.
If you have difficulty locking sides, lift the centre of the base a little
higher and try again.
Push the centre of the bed base downwards until it audibly locks into
place.

Now place the Sleeping Mat in the travel cot with the padded side up.
Align the Velcro pads on the Sleeping Mat and the base and press
down to ensure they are fixed.
Maintenance
To avoid risk of injury, please check and maintain the
Porta Cot periodically and regularly check that the cot
does not have any missing or broken parts.
The Porta Cot, fabric parts can be wiped clean using
warm water 10°C - 40°C.
The Carry Bag can be wiped clean using warm water
10°C - 40°C.
Do not bleach.

To pack away, first remove the Sleeping Mat, then pull the lifting handle
in the centre of the base and pull up the base.
The base must remain lifted in order to release the top rails.
The top rails must now be disengaged.

To pack away, first remove the Sleeping Mat, then pull the lifting handle

The base must remain lifted in order to release the top rails.
The top rails must now be disengaged.

To do this, find the fasteners in the centre of the long sides and
squeeze together as shown in fig 8A and 8B.
Repeat with the short sides.
Check that all sides have disengaged properly and pull up the centre of
the base.
If you have difficulty unlocking the sides, lift the centre of the base a little
higher and try again.

With the upper parts now in position, push the four feet of the Porta Cot
together.
Wrap the Sleeping Mat around the Porta Cot tightly and fasten the
Velcro through the tabs and secure.
Pull the Carry Bag over the Porta Cot and close with the zip fastener.
