1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese Lautsprecherboxen sind speziell für den Einsatz in
Beschallungsanlagen konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Technik
arbeiten. Das Modell EUL-2/SW ist eine Fullrange-Laut-
sprecherbox mit zwei 20-cm-Basslautsprechern und
einem Hornhochtöner (1″). Das Modell EUL-2SUB/SW
ist eine Subwooferbox mit einem 30-cm-Basslautspre-
cher und integrierter Frequenzweiche (Tiefpass). Sie
dient zur Tiefbassergänzung von ELA-Lautsprechern
und passt perfekt zum Modell EUL-2/SW.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt-
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
GDer Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im Innen-
bereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf- und
Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu-
lässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
GVerwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Wasser oder Chemi-
kalien.
GWird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fach-
gerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder über-
lastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende
Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie
für den Lautsprecher übernommen werden.
3 Installation
1) Das Modell EUL-2SUB/SW frei auf dem Boden auf-
stellen. Über die Subwooferbox lässt sich in einem
bestimmten Abstand eine Lautsprecherbox (z. B.
EUL-2/SW) als Topteil aufsetzen. Dazu ein Boxen-
Zwischenstück (z. B. aus der PAST-Serie von „img

Die Installation darf nur durch Fachper-
sonal erfolgen.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers
durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den
Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistungen
aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstär-
kerleistung nicht überschreiten.
Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie
ihn zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

2) Vor dem Anschluss des Lautsprechers die ELA-
Anlage komplett ausschalten, damit die 100-V-
Audioleitung vom ELA-Verstärker spannungsfrei ist!
3) Über die SPEAKON®-Eingangsbuchse den Laut-
sprecher mit dem ELA-Verstärker verbinden. Der
SPEAKON®-Stecker muss wie folgt angeschlossen
sein:
1+ = Lautsprecher-Pluspol
(gekennzeichnete Ader)

- = Lautsprecher-Minuspol
2+ und 2 - bleiben frei
4) Mit dem Regler auf der Geräterückseite die Nenn-
belastung (siehe technische Daten) einstellen.

Bei der Box EUL-2SUB/SW kann über die SPEA-
KON®-Ausgangsbuchse PAR./SAT OUT ein weiterer
100-V-Lautsprecher (z. B. EUL-2/SW) angeschlos-
sen werden.
6) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern dar-
auf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt
werden.

PA Speaker Systems
Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
These speakers systems are specially designed
for application in PA systems operating with 100 V
technique. EUL-2 /SW is a full-range speaker system
with two 20 cm bass speakers and a horn tweeter (1″).
EUL-2SUB /SW is a subwoofer system with a 30 cm
bass speaker and an integrated crossover network
(low pass). It is used to complete the low bass of PA
speakers and is a perfect match for EUL-2 /SW .
2 Important Notes
The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with .
GThe speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).
GFor cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.
GNo guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material dam-
age will be accepted if the speaker is used for other
purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly
installed or connected, or if it is overloaded.
3 Installation
1) Set up EUL-2SUB /SW on the floor. A speaker sys-
tem (e. g. EUL-2
/SW ) can be placed as a top part
onto the subwoofer system at a certain distance.
For this purpose, insert an adapter for speaker sys-
tems (e. g. from the PAST series of the “img Stage
Line” range) into the stand sleeve provided on the
upper side of the subwoofer system and place the

The installation must be carried out by
skilled personnel only.
Observe the load of the PA amplifier by the speakers.
An overload may damage the amplifier! The total
power of all speakers connected must not exceed the
amplifier power.
If the speaker is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.

2) Completely switch off the PA system before con-
necting the speaker so that the 100 V audio cable
from the PA amplifier will not carry any voltage!
3) Connect the speaker to the PA amplifier via the
SPEAKON®input jack. Connect the SPEAKON®
plug as follows:
1+ = positive pole of speaker
(marked core)

- = negative pole of speaker
2+ and 2
- = not connected
4) Adjust the power rating with the control on the rear
side of the speaker (see specifications).
5) EUL-2SUB
/SW : The SPEAKON® output jack PAR./
SAT OUT allows connection of another 100 V
speaker (e. g. EUL-2 /SW ).
6) When connecting several speakers, make sure that
all speakers have the same polarity.

Enceintes Public Adress
Veuillez lire la présente notice avec attention avant
lʼinstallation et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y
reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Ces enceintes sont conçues pour une utilisation dans
des installations de sonorisation, fonctionnant en ligne
100 V, le modèle EUL-2
/SW est une enceinte fullrange
avec deux haut-parleurs de grave 20 cm et un haut-par-
leur dʼaigu à pavillon (1″). Le modèle EUL-2SUB
/SW
est un subwoofer avec un haut-parleur de grave 30 cm
et un filtre de fréquences intégré (passe-bas). Elle
permet de compléter les graves dʼenceintes Public
Adress et est parfaitement bien adaptée pour fonc-
tionner avec le modèle EUL-2
/SW .
2 Conseils importants dʼutilisation
Lʼenceinte répond à toutes les directives nécessaires
de lʼUnion européenne et porte donc le symbole .
GLʼenceinte nʼest conçue que pour une utilisation en
intérieur. Protégez-la des éclaboussures, de tout
type de projections dʼeau, dʼune humidité élevée de
lʼair et de la chaleur (température ambiante admissi-
ble 0 – 40 °C).

our le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec
et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou dʼeau.
GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si lʼen-
ceinte est utilisée dans un but autre que celui pour
lequel elle a été conçue, si elle nʼest pas correcte-
ment installée, branchée ou sʼil y a surcharge ; en
outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.
3 Installation
1) Posez le modèle EUL-2SUB /SW librement sur le
sol. On peut poser une enceinte (p. ex. EUL-2
/SW )
sur le subwoofer à une certaine distance, comme

ment lʼinstallation Public Adress pour que le câble
audio 100 V de lʼamplificateur Public Adress ne soit
pas porteur de tension.
3) Via la prise dʼentrée SPEAKON®femelle, reliez le
haut-parleur à lʼamplificateur Public Adress. Reliez
la fiche SPEAKON®mâle comme suit :
1+ = pôle plus haut-parleur
(conducteur repéré)

- = pôle moins haut-parleur
2+ et 2
- libres
4) Avec le réglage sur la face arrière de lʼenceinte,
réglez la puissance nominale (voir caractéristiques
techniques).
5) Sur lʼenceinte EUL-2SUB
/SW , on peut relier une
autre enceinte 100 V (par exemple EUL-2 /SW ) via
la prise de sortie SPEAKON®PAR./SAT OUT.
6) Si vous branchez plusieurs enceintes, veillez à que
quʼelles aient toutes la même polarité.

Casse acustiche PA
Vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente le presenti istru-
zioni prima dellʼinstallazione e di conservarle per un
uso futuro.
1 Possibilità dʼimpiego
Queste casse acustiche sono state realizzate special-
mente per lʼimpiego in impianti di sonorizzazione che
funzionano con uscita audio 100 V. Il modello EUL-2 /SW
è una cassa full-range con due woofer di 20 cm e con
un tweeter a tromba (1″). Il modello EUL-2SUB /SW
è una cassa subwoofer con un woofer di 30 cm e con
filtro di frequenza integrato (passa-basso). Serve per
integrare i bassi profondi di altoparlanti PA e si adatta
perfettamente al modello EUL-2 /SW .
2 Avvertenze importanti per lʼuso
Questʼapparecchio è conforme a tutte le direttive rile-
vanti dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .
GIl diffusore è previsto solo per lʼuso allʼinterno di
locali. Proteggerlo dallʼacqua gocciolante e dagli
spruzzi dʼacqua, da alta umidità dellʼaria e dal calore
(temperatura dʼimpiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).
GPer la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto;
non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o
acqua.
GNel caso dʼuso improprio, di montaggio scorretto, di
collegamento sbagliato o di sovraccarico dellʼalto-
parlante, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per
eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose e
non si assume nessuna garanzia per lʼaltoparlante.
3 Installazione
1) Collocare sul pavimento il modello EUL-2SUB /SW .
Sopra la cassa subwoofer si può posizionare, ad
una determinata distanza, una cassa acustica

cavo di collegamento è presente
una tensione fino a 100 V, perico-
losa in caso di contatto.
Lʼinstallazione deve essere ese-
guita solo da personale specializ-
zato.
Tener presente anche il carico dellʼamplificatore da
parte degli altoparlanti. Un sovraccarico può danneg-
giare lʼamplificatore! La somma delle potenze di tutti
gli altoparlanti collegati non deve superare la potenza
dellʼamplificatore.
Se si desidera eliminare lʼaltoparlante defini-
tivamente, consegnarlo per lo smaltimento
ad unʼistituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
(p. es. EUL-2 /SW ). In questo caso inserire nella
boccola per stativo, che si trova sul lato superiore
della cassa subwoofer, un distanziatore per casse
acustiche (p. es. della serie PAST di “img Stage
Line”) e sistemare sullo stesso la cassa. Il modello
EUL-2 /SW può essere montato anche separata-
mente su uno stativo per casse acustiche.
2) Prima di collegare lʼaltoparlante, spegnere comple-
tamente lʼimpianto PA per garantire che la linea
audio 100 V proveniente dallʼamplificatore PA sia
libera di tensione!
3) Collegare lʼaltoparlante con lʼamplificatore PA per
mezzo della presa dʼingresso SPEAKON®. Il con-
nettore SPEAKON®deve avere i seguenti contatti:
1+ = polo positivo dellʼaltoparlante
(conduttore contrassegnato)

- = polo negativo dellʼaltoparlante
2+ e 2
- rimangono liberi
4) Con il regolatore sul retro dellʼapparecchio impo-
stare la potenza nominale (vedi dati tecnici).
5) Per la cassa EUL-2SUB
/SW , tramite la presa dʼusci-
ta SPEAKON®PAR./SAT OUT, si può collegare un
ulteriore altoparlante 100 V (p. es. EUL-2 /SW ).
6) Collegando più altoparlanti fare attenzione alla
medesima polarità di tutti gli altoparlanti.

Recintos para Megafonía
Lea atentamente estas instrucciones de funciona-
miento antes de la instalación y guárdelas para poste-
riores usos.
1 Aplicaciones
Estos recintos están diseñados especialmente para
aplicaciones en sistemas de megafonía con línea de
100 V. El EUL-2 /SW es un recinto Full Range con dos
altavoces de graves de 20 cm y un tweeter de trom-
peta (1″). El EUL-2SUB /SW es un recinto subwoofer
con un altavoz de graves de 30 cm y un filtro integrado
(pasa bajo). Se utiliza para completar los graves de
altavoces de megafonía y está perfectamente ade-
cuado para el EUL-2 /SW .
2 Notas Importantes
El altavoz cumple con todas las directivas relevantes
por la UE y por lo tanto está marcado con el sím-
bolo .
GEl altavoz está adecuado para utilizarlo sólo en inte-
riores. Proteja el aparato de goteos y salpicaduras,
elevada humedad del aire y calor (temperatura
ambiente admisible: 0 – 40 °C).
GUtilice sólo un paño suave y seco para la limpieza;
no utilice nunca ni agua ni productos químicos.
GNo podrá reclamarse garantía o responsabilidad
alguna por cualquier daño personal o material pro-
ducido si se utiliza el altavoz para fines diferentes a
los originalmente concebidos, si no se conecta o se
instala correctamente, o si se sobrecarga.
3 Instalación
1) Coloque el EUL-2SUB /SW en el suelo. Puede
colocarse un recinto (p. ej. EUL-2 /SW ) como parte
superior encima del recinto subwoofer a cierta dis-

ficador. La potencia total de todos los altavoces
conectados no puede sobrepasar la potencia del
amplificador.
Si va a poner el altavoz definitivamente fuera
de servicio, llévelo a la planta de reciclaje
más cercana para que su eliminación no sea
perjudicial para el medioambiente.

3) Conecte el altavoz al amplificador de megafonía a
través de la entrada SPEAKON®. Conecte el
enchufe SPEAKON®del siguiente modo:
1+ = polo positivo del altavoz
(conductor marcado)

- = polo negativo del altavoz
2+ y 2 - no conectado
4) Ajuste el nivel de potencia con el control de la parte
posterior del altavoz (ver especificaciones).
5) EUL-2SUB
/SW : La salida SPEAKON®PAR./SAT
OUT permite la conexión de otro altavoz de 100 V
(p. ej. EUL-2 /SW ).
6) Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegúrese de
que todos los altavoces tienen la misma polaridad.

Zestawy głośnikowe PA
Przed rozpoczęciem instalacji proszę dokładnie zapo-
znać się z niniejszą instrukcją i zachować ją do wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
Niniejsze zestawy głośnikowe przeznaczone są do
pracy w systemach PA w technice 100 V. EUL-2/SW
jest pełnopasmowym zestawem głośnikowym, z
20 cm głośnikiem niskotonowym oraz 1″ tubowym
głośnikiem wysokotonowym. EUL-2SUB/SW jest sub-
wooferem, wyposażonym w 30 cm głośnik basowy
oraz zwrotnicę (dolnoprzepustową). Służy on do uzu-
pełnienia systemu PA o pasmo basowe. Najbardziej
zalecane jest używanie go w połączeniu z zestawami
głośnikowymi EUL-2/SW.
2 Środki bezpieczeństwa
Głośniki spełniają wszystkie wymagania norm UE
dzięki temu zostały oznaczone symbolem .
GGłośniki przeznaczone są wyłącznie do użytku
wewnątrz pomieszczeń. Należy chronić je przez
wodą, dużą wilgotnością oraz wysoką temperaturą
(dopuszczalny zakres wynosi 0 – 40 °C).
GDo czyszczenia należy używać suchej i miękkiej
ściereczki, nie używać wody ani środków chemicz-
nych.
GDostawca oraz producent nie ponoszą odpowie-
dzialności za ewentualnie wynikłe szkody mate-
rialne lub uszczerbki na zdrowiu, jeśli urządzenie
było używane niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, zos-
tało niepoprawnie zainstalowane lub było podda-
wane naprawom przez nieautoryzowany personel.
3 Montaż
1) Subwoofer EUL-2SUB /SW zaleca się ustawiać na
podłodze. Zestaw wysokotonowy (np. EUL-2
/SW )
może zostać umieszczony na subwooferze na
odpowiedniej wysokości. Do tego celu można wyko-

Szczególną uwagę należy zwrócić na odpowiedni
dobór mocy wzmacniacza do mocy głośników. Nie-
dopasowanie mocowe może spowodować przecią-
żenie wzmacniacza i w konsekwencji jego uszkodze-
nie. Sumaryczna moc głosników, nie może przekra-
czać mocy wzmacniacza.
Jeśli głośniki nie będa już więcej używane,
wskazane jest przekazanie ich do miejsca
utylizacji odpadów, aby zostały zniszczone
bez szkody dla środowiska.

2) Przed przystąpieniem do podłączania, należy bez-
względnie wyłączyć cały system audio, aby w kablu
głośnikowym i na zaciskach głośnika nie występo-
wało niebezpieczne napięcie 100 V!
3) Podłączyć kabel głośnikowy od wzmacniacza
PA do gniazda SPEAKON®. Konfiguracja wtyku
SPEAKON®:
1+ = dodatni biegun głośnika
(oznaczona żyła)

- = ujemny biegun głośnika
2+ i 2
- nie podłączone
4) Ustawić odpowiednią moc głośnika regulatorem na
tylnej stronie głośnika (patrz specyfikacja).
5) EUL-2SUB
/SW : Wyjście PAR./SAT OUT na gnieź-
dzie SPEAKON®służy do przesyłania sygnału
do kolejnego 100 V zestawu głośnikowego (np.
EUL-2
/SW ).
6) W przypadku podłączania większej liczby głośni-
ków, upewnić się że wszystkie zostały podłączone
z jednakową polaryzacją.
Z zastrzeżeniem możliwości zmian.
