the timeand expenseofEthernetcabling.Inaddition,
with64-/128-bitPrivacy Keyand IEEE 802.11iTKP,net-
workconnection ishighlysecured.
Basedon directsequencespreadspectrum(DSSS)tech-
nologyoperating inthe 2.4GHzIndustrial,Scienceand
Medicalband,the Wireless 11b PCICardcomplieswith
WiFi,ensuring interoperabilitywithothercompliantwire-

2.LocatethePCIsloton yourmainboard.
PuttheWireless 11b PCICarddirectly
overthe PCIslotand press one end of
the cardintothe slotfirst. Slightlybut
firmlypress the otherend until itisfully
seated inthe slot. Securethe Wire-
less 11b PCICardwithabracket
screw.
3.Replacethecomputercover.
4.Connectthe externalantenna tothe
connectoron the bracket.

Installation Procedure:
1.Insertthe driverCD intoyourCD-ROMdrive,and then
thesetupprogramshouldstartautomatically.Ifitdoesn’t
start, click the Startbutton atthe Taskbarand then
selectRun.EnterE:\setup.exe ifEisyourCD-drive.
Then click the driveroption tocontinue.
Thispartprovidesthe procedurestoinstall driversand
the utilities.Eachinstallation procedurecomeswitha
drawing and instruction.Followthe instruction step by
step tofinishthe installation.During the installation,Win-
dows®98SE/ME/2000/XP mayneed tocopyWindows
systemfilesfromthe Windows®98SE/ME/2000/XP in-
stallation disk/CD.Therefore,pleaseprepareacopyof
the Windows®98SE/ME/2000/XP installation disk/CD at
hand beforeinstalling the driverifpossible.
