11Mbpsand iscompatiblewithanyexisting IEEE802.

WithWirelss 11b MiniPCI, you can roambetween con-
ferenceroomand officewithoutbeing disconnected the
LANcables;inaddition,sharing filesand printerscan be
easy tasks.
The Wirelss 11b MiniPCIisavailabletoMicrosoft Win-
dowsoperating systems(Windows®XP/2000/ME/98SE)
and can be integrated intonetworking witheitherAd-hoc
mode (withoutan Access Point)orInfrastructuremode
(withan Access Point).

1.Removethecomputercover.Locatethe miniPCI
module.The standardminiPCImoduleisshown
asthe drawing.
To install Wireless 11bMiniPCIin
yoursystem:
2.PlaceWireless 11b MiniPCIoverthe MiniPCI
slot(atan angleof30 degrees).Then,gentlyin-
sertitintothe slotuntil the golden fingerofthe
cardgetsfullyinserted.
3.Press downthe card,and the retaining clips(on
twosidesofthe slot)will lock ontothe notchesof
the card.
To remove Wireless 11bMiniPCI
fromyoursystem:
1.Press the retaining clipsoutwards,and the card
shouldbound upwardsslightlyafterbeing re-
leased fromthe slot.
2.Removethe cardfromtheMiniPCIslotcarefully.

Installation Procedure:
1.Insertthe driverCD intoyourCD-ROMdrive,and then
thesetupprogramshouldstartautomatically.Ifitdoesn’t
start, click the Startbutton atthe Taskbarand then
selectRun.EnterE:\setup.exe ifEisyourCD-drive.
Then click the driveroption tocontinue.
Thispartprovidesthe procedurestoinstall driversand
the utilities.Eachinstallation procedurecomeswitha
drawing and instruction.Followthe instruction step by
step tofinishthe installation.During the installation,Win-
dows®98SE/ME/2000/XP mayneed tocopyWindows
systemfilesfromthe Windows®98SE/ME/2000/XP in-
stallation disk/CD.Therefore,pleaseprepareacopyof
