動作原理
動脈を腕帯で圧迫すると、心拍に合わせて脈動が
起こり、腕帯内の圧力が脈動と同調します。この
脈動は腕帯の圧迫状況に応じ変化します。オシロ
メトリック式の血圧計は、腕帯の圧力を徐々に変
化させた時に見られる脈動の大きさの変化をもと
に最高血圧及び最低血圧を決定します。
次のものが揃っていますか？
電池の挿入
次のものがそろっているかご確認ください。不足しているものがあるときには、お買い上げの販売店また
は弊社お客様相談室（ 0120-211-164）までご連絡ください。
電池残量が少なくなると電池交換マーク［ ］が点滅します。
電池交換マークが点滅表示から点灯表示になると血圧測定をおこなうこと
はできません。電池交換マークが表示されたら 4 本全てを同じ種類の新し
い単 3 形アルカリ乾電池と交換してください。
本製品は、専用 AC アダプタで使用することもできます。
専用 AC アダプタを本体側面のAC アダプタ接続部に接続してください。
専用 AC アダプタは製品に付属されていません。別売品の専用 AC ア
ダプタ ADP-W5 を別途ご用意ください。

腕帯を巻く
正しく測定する為の注意事項
電池が挿入されると表示部に年（20 14）が点滅します。
時計の設定は、年、月、日、時、分の順に行います。
［年］をあわせる
メモリー呼出しボタンを押すと数値 は 大きくなります。
年をあわせたら測定／停止ボタンを押してください。
次の設定に移ります。
同 様 に ［ 月 ］ 、［ 日 ］ 、［ 時 ］ 、［ 分 ］ を あ わ せ る
メモリー呼出しボタンを押して数値を合わせたら、測定／停止ボタンを押して決定してください。
［分］を決定すると時計設定は終了です。

時計の設定をやり直す場合は、一度電池を取り外し、測定／停止ボタンを押して、表示が消えた
ことを確認してから、もう一度電池を入れてください。
血圧は、測定の条件が変わると値も変わります。毎日同じ時刻に同じ環境で測定するように心がけ
ましょう。
●朝と夜、測定する時刻を決める
 起床後と就寝前が１日の内で最も血圧が安定すると言
われています。朝は、起床後 1時間以内で食事の前に、
夜は、食事の後 1時間以上間をあけて測定します。
●測定する腕（左腕／右腕）を決める
左右の腕で血圧値が異なることがあります。家庭で測定するときにはいつも決めた腕で測定します。
●同じ環境、静かな場所で測定する
 血圧は周囲の音や動きにも影響を受けます。また、寒いと血圧は高くなります。20℃くらいの
室 温 が 血 圧 測 定 に適して いま す。
●リラックスして測定する
 緊張したり心が動揺していると血圧は高くなります。深呼吸を数回して 5分くらい安静にしてか
ら測定します。
●測定中は静かに、動かない
 会話をしたり体を動かしたりすると血圧は変化します。また、本製品は血圧測定方法にオシロメ
トリック法を採用しています。オシロメトリック法はかすかな脈動変化をとらえて血圧を測定しま
す。このため、測定中に会話をしたり腕や体を動かしたりすると正しい測定結果となりません。
ポイント
・尿意があるときはトイレに行ってから測定する。
・喫煙直後に測定しない。
・運動、入浴後はしばらくしてから測定する。
尿意があるとき、食事や喫煙の直後、運動中や運動直後は血圧が高くなります。
以上の方法でも、測定が正常にできないときは、お買い上げの販売店へご相談ください。

と差し込み、腕帯を本体に接続してください。
椅子に座り腕帯を巻く
エアー管が手の方にくるようにして、腕帯に
左腕を通してください。
※ 腕帯を左腕に巻けない場合は右腕に巻いてください。た
だし測定 は 毎 回 決 め た 方 の 腕 で 行 ってくだ さ い 。

・厚手の衣類の上から ・衣類の袖を巻き上げて
・血液の循環が妨げられるようなぴったりした衣類

測定を開始する
測定／停止ボタンを押してください。自動測定が開始します。
測定を中止したい場合は、測定／停止ボタンを押してください。空気が抜けて電源が切れます。
測定結果の表示
腕帯から空気が抜け測定が終了し、結果が表
示されます。
仰向けに横になって測定を行うこともできます。その場合にも腕帯を心臓の高さにあわせてください。
測定姿勢により（座って測定する場合と横になって測定する場合では）測定値は多少異なります。

腕帯をとめる
腕帯を肘関節より２〜３cm上の位置にあ
わせて面ファスナーでとめます。腕帯の表
面を押さえてしっかりととめてください。
向きをあわせる
腕帯のアーテリーマークを動脈の上にあわ
せるか、エアー管を腕の中心にあわせてく
ださい。
腕をテーブルの上に自然にのばし、腕帯を心臓の高さに保つ
測定位置が心臓よりも高いと測定値は低く、測定位置が心臓より
も低いと測定値は高くなる傾向があります。
正しく測定するために、椅子の高さを調整したり、肘の下にクッショ
ンを置くなどして腕帯を必ず心臓の高さにあわせてください。
とめて 押さえる
腕帯が簡単に回ったり上下に動いてしまう場合は、きつく
巻き直してください。
また、反対にきつく巻きすぎないように注意してください。 ゆるすぎる きつすぎる
測定結果の表示と削除

本製品には 60 回分の測定結果とその平均を保存できます。
測定結果を表示する
メモリー呼出しボタンを押してください。測定結果の平均を表示します。
その後、メモリー呼出しボタンを押す毎に、測定結果を最新の測定結果
からさかのぼって表示します。
結果番号、測定日、測定時刻の表示は自動で切り替わります。
測定結果を削除する
1. メモリー呼出しボタンを押し、削除したい測定結果を表示します。
 ※全ての測定結果を削除するには、平均を表示してください。
2. メモリー呼出しボタンを４秒以上押し続けます。
3. 測定結果が点滅し始めるので、そのまま押し続けてください。
4. 測定結果が削除されます。
一度削除した測定結果をもとに戻すことはできません。

ません。体を動かさないようにしてもう一度測定をおこなうことをお勧めします。

本製品は、JIST1115（非観血式電子血圧計）およびEMC（電磁両立性）規格 IEC60601-1-2:2007に適合しています（CISPRグ
ループ分類及びクラス分類は、グループ1、クラスB）。詳細については、弊社までお問合せください。
* 試験方法は、ANSI/AAMI SP10:2002, American National Standard for electronic or automated
Sphygmomanometers,andAmendmentに基づく。
本製品には専門の知識・技能を必要とする保守点検（特定保守管理）は必要ありません。血圧計の性
能は使用した回数、使用・保管方法、年数に影響を受けて劣化します。本製品の耐用期間は５年ある
いは30,000回です。
●製品のお手入れ
使用後は汚れなどがないか確認してください。血圧計本体の表面の汚れはぬるま湯や石けん水を含ま
せた布でよく拭き取り、乾いた柔らかい布で乾拭きしてください。腕帯の汚れは中性洗剤を使い、表
面をやさしくたたくようにしてとります。エアー管に水が入らないように注意し、しっかり乾かして
ください。洗濯機を使用したりこすったりしないでください。
ベンジン、シンナー、ガソリン、アルコールなどの溶剤は使用しないでください。製品を傷める原因
になります。
●製品の保管
次のような場所に保管、または長時間放置しないでください。故障、製品の劣化の原因になります。
・直射日光のあたる場所 ・温度差の激しい場所や高温多湿な場所
・ほこりの多い場所 ・防虫剤の入ったタンス
製品を長期間使用しないときには、電池を取り外しておいてください。電池を入れたままにすると電
池の液もれが起こり製品を傷める原因になります。
血圧とは
血管内を流れる血液が血管の内壁におよぼす圧力のこ
とをいいます。
最高血圧（収縮期血圧）
心臓が収縮して血液が送り出され血管内の圧力が上が
ります。
最低血圧（拡張期血圧）
心臓が拡張して血液が心臓にもどり血管内の圧力が下
がります。
血圧は常に変化しています
血圧は心身のいろいろな条件で変化し、いつも一定の
ものではありません。
以下の要因で血圧は変動します。
・時刻や季節 ・身体活動 ・高血圧治療などの薬剤
・飲食（アルコールを含む）・喫煙 ・精神的緊張
・入浴 ・尿意 ・会話
安静状態での血圧値を正確につかむためには、5分以上
休憩をいれながら何回か測定することをお勧めします。
高血圧とは
WHOでは血圧を右の表のように分類しています。しか
し 、血 圧 値 は 人 種 、地 域 、性 別 、年 齢 に よ っ て か な り の
差がみられ、人により目標値も異なります。測定結果は
ご自分で判断せずに必ず医師の指導を受けてください。

禁忌・禁止
● 乳幼児および小児または意思表示のできない人には使用しないこと。ケガや事故をおこすおそれがあります。
● MRI 検査を行う際は本品を検査室に持ち込まないこと。MR 装置への吸着や、熱傷等のおそれがあります。
● 可燃性ガスおよび支燃性ガスの近く、および高圧酸素室や高気圧酸素治療装置内、酸素テント内など高濃度
酸素下または高濃度酸素雰囲気内では絶対に使用しないこと。誤動作や破損および経時的な劣化を来したり、
爆発の誘因となるおそれがあります。
● 自身で測る場合、測定結果の自己判断、治療はしない。医師の指導にもとづいて測定し、診断を受け、薬剤
の服用も医師の指示に従ってください。
● 傷など未治癒の腕に腕帯を巻かないこと。症状を悪化させるおそれがあります。
● 点滴静脈注射や輸血を行っている腕に腕帯を巻かないこと。ケガや事故をおこすおそれがあります。
● 耐用期間を超えて使用しない。本製品の耐用期間は 5 年あるいは 30,000 回です。
● 不特定多数の人が対象となる医療機関や公共の場所では使用しないこと。事故やトラブルの原因になります。
注 意
● 電磁波を発生する機器（電子レンジ／電磁調理器など）に近づけたり、電波を発生する機器（携帯電話／
PHS など）の近くでは使用しない。誤動作や故障の原因になります。
● 下記の医用電子機器とは併用に注意すること。誤動作を招くおそれがあります。
・ペースメーカ、植込み型除細動器などの電磁障害の影響を受けやすい体内植込み型医用電気機器
・心電計などの装着形の医用電子機器
● 妊婦、産婦が使用する場合は、医師に相談のうえ使用すること。
● 血圧測定の目的以外には使用しない。故障や事故の原因になります。
● 上腕以外に腕帯を巻かない。故障や事故の原因になります。
● 透析や点滴などの血管と流体接続するシステムを使用する環境で血圧計を使用する場合、誤ってシステムと血
圧計の空気圧系を接続しないよう注意する。血管内に空気が送られて事故の原因になります。
● 糖尿病、肝臓病、動脈硬化、高血圧症などの末梢循環器障害あるいは不整脈のある人は医師の指導に従い使
用すること。
● 腕帯は付属品を使用する。付属品以外を使用すると、誤差の原因になります。
● 使用前に上腕の周囲を測り、適用範囲内であることを確認する。適用範囲外で使用すると、誤差の原因になります。
● 製品の上に重い物をのせたり、エアー管を縛ったりしないこと。故障の原因になります。
● 落としたり、強い衝撃を与えないこと。誤作動や故障の原因となります。
● 腕帯は測定部位に正しく装着し、測定中は心臓の高さに保つ。誤った装着や高さのズレは誤差の原因になります。
● 血圧は以下の要因で変動するので、注意する。
 ・時刻や季節 ・高血圧治療などの薬剤 ・飲食（アルコールを含む） ・喫煙
 ・身体活動 ・精神的緊張 ・入浴 ・尿意 ・会話
 ・その他の環境（病院での受診中など） ・測定姿勢（心臓に対する腕帯の高さを含む）
● 異常加圧が発生した場合は、測定／停止ボタンを押して測定を中止する。測定／停止ボタンを押すと腕帯から
空気が急速に抜け、測定が中止されます。
● 腕帯の締め付けにより、一過性の内出血が発生し赤みが残る可能性があるため、痛みを感じた場合には測定／
停止ボタンを押して測定を中止する。測定／停止ボタンを押すと腕帯から空気が急速に抜け、測定が中止され
ます。
● 濡れた手で AC アダプタの抜き差しをおこなったり、ピンセットや導電性のあるものでふれたりしない。
● 電池交換などで機器の電池又は電池端子に触れているときや AC アダプタを抜き差しする際に AC アダプタの
プラグに触れているときは、他の人にふれない。
● 種類の違う電池や新しい電池と古い電池を同時に使わない。発熱などにより故障の原因になります。
● AC アダプタでの使用中に機器に異常が発生した場合は、コンセントから AC アダプタのプラグを抜くこと。家
具などの影にあるコンセントに AC アダプタのプラグを差込むと緊急対処ができない場合があります。
● ケーブルを引っ張り AC アダプタを抜かない。ケーブルが断線し、火災や感電の原因になります。
● 製品を長期間使用しないときには、電池を取り外しておく。電池を長期間入れたままにすると電池の液もれが起
こり、製品を傷める原因になります。
● お子様だけで使わせたり幼児の手の届く所に保管しない。け がの 恐 れ が ありま す。
● 分解・修理・改造は行わない。誤動作や故障の原因になります。
● 汚れていたり濡れていないかを確認する。
● 動かなくなったり、異常がある場合は、直ちに使用を中止する。点検・修理をお申し付けください。
● 本製品および使用済みの電池を廃棄する場合は、各自治体の規則に従い適切に処分する。

The main unit can save up to 60 readings and their average value.
Display the readings
Press the MEMORY BUTTON. The average blood pressure value is displayed.
Press the MEMORY BUTTON repeatedly to see the other results from the
latest to the oldest.
The result number, date and time of measurement change automatically.
Fasten the cuff
Fasten the cuff with the velcro, making sure
that the lower edge of the cuff is
approximately 2 to 3 cm above the inner
elbow. Hold the cuff around your arm and
fasten it tightly.
Adjust the position of the cuff
Adjust the position of the cuff so that the ARTERY
MARK is over the brachial artery or the AIR HOSE
is at the center of your arm.
Let your forearm rest naturally on the table and
keep the cuff at the height of your heart during
measurement
If the cuff is higher than the heart, the measured reading tends to be
lower whereas if the cuff is lower than the heart, the measured reading
tends to be higher.
In order to measure your blood pressure accurately, adjust
the height of your chair or place a cushion under your elbow
so that the cuff is level with your heart.

Remove the cover of the battery compartment on the underside of the unit.
Insert four AA type batteries into the compartment, observing
proper polarity (refer to the marking in battery compartment).
Inserting the battery with (+) first may damage the spring.
Close the battery compartment by pressing the battery cover back into
the unit until it clicks.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
GENERAL INFORMATION
This product can be used without the professional skills or knowledge required to perform maintenance on the
product. The overall condition of the product may deteriorate depending on the number of times it is used, the way it
is used/maintained and the number of years it is used. The service life of the product is either 5 years or 30,000
times.
●Cleaning the product
Make sure that you clean the product after use. If it becomes dirty, wipe the surface of the main unit with a cloth
using warm water or soapy water, then wipe it dry with a soft cloth. To clean the cuff, lightly pat the surface of it with
a cloth using neutral detergent. Make sure that water never enters the AIR HOSE. Dry the cuff thoroughly. Do not use
a washing machine.
Do not use benzine, gasoline, paint thinner or alcohol. It may damage the product.
●Storing the product
Do not store the product in the places described below for a long period of time. It may damage the product or may
allow it to deteriorate.
・ Places exposed to direct sunlight
・ Places affected by differences in temperature or warm places with a high degree of humidity
・ Dusty places ・ Wardrobes where insecticide is used
When not using the product for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the main unit.
Otherwise, battery fluid may leak from the batteries and damage the product.
Blood pressure
Blood pressure is the pressure exerted by circulation of blood upon the walls of blood vessels.
Systolic blood pressure value
When the heart shrinks and a larger amount of blood flows out, blood pressure increases.
Diastolic blood pressure value
When the heart expands and blood returns to the heart,
blood pressure decreases.
Blood pressure is constantly changing
Blood pressure varies depending on both mental and
physical conditions.
Blood pressure is affected by the factors below.

In order to take your blood pressure accurately, rest

Measured blood pressure values are classified against
WHO guideline. Measured blood pressure values vary
depending on racial background, area, sex, and age.
Therefore the ideal blood pressure is different for each
individual. Do not diagnose yourself based on your
own measurement results. Consult with your doctor.

Operating Principles
The cuff applies pressure to the artery in your arm
which pulses with your heart rate. The pressure in the
cuff moves with the pulse. This pulse changes
according to the amount of pressure the cuff applies
to your arm. The oscillometric method can find the
systolic and diastolic values as the level of pressure
applied from the cuff changes gradually.

TIPS ON TAKING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE
ADJUST DATE AND TIME AND ACTIVATE THE CLOCK
The reading may vary slightly, depending on your posture. Take your blood pressure at the same time
every day.
●Designate a time in the morning and the evening.
It is said that your blood pressure is most stable before going to bed and soon after waking up in the
morning. Check your blood pressure in the morning within an hour of waking up, before eating, and
in the evening an hour or more after eating.
●Use one designated arm (right/left) when taking blood pressure.
The blood pressure of one arm may differ from that of the other. Designate an arm for measurement
when you take your blood pressure.
●Take your blood pressure in a quiet environment and use the same environment every time.
Changes in the surroundings such as movement or noise may affect your blood pressure.
Your blood pressure may increase when the temperature is low. A room temperature of 20° is ideal.
●It is best to take your blood pressure when you are relaxed.
Mental tension or nervousness may affect your blood pressure. Take a deep breath a few times, rest
for approximately five minutes, and take your blood pressure.
●Sit quietly and stay still while taking your blood pressure.
Your blood pressure can be affected by speaking and moving your body. This product uses the
oscillometric method for measurement of blood pressure and pulse rate. The oscillometric method
can detect subtle pulsatory changes. For this reason, for accurate results, it is best not to speak, or
move your body while taking your blood pressure.

・If you need to urinate, do so before taking your blood pressure.
・Do not take your blood pressure after smoking.
・Rest after taking a bath or exercising before taking your blood pressure.
Your blood pressure increases if you need to urinate, and after eating, smoking, or exercising.
Connect the cuff and the main unit
Insert the AIR PLUG into the AIR CONNECTOR
securely.
Sit on a chair and attach the cuff
Put the cuff on your left arm with the AIR HOSE
positioned toward your hand.
* If you are unable to wear the cuff on your left arm,
wear it on your right arm. Once you have decided to
wear it on one arm, always wear it on the same arm.

Your blood pressure cannot be measured accurately in the conditions listed below.
・When wearing thick clothes.
・When your sleeve is rolled up.
・When wearing tight clothes that prevent your blood from
circulating freely.
You may lay on your back and take your blood pressure. Even then, keep the cuff at the same level as your heart.
The measured value may vary depending on your posture (whether sitting or lying on your back).

Be careful not to fasten it too tightly.

MAKING A MEASUREMENT
Start measuring your blood pressure
Press the START/STOP BUTTON. All the indicators light up and measuring begins automatically.
If you wish to stop the measurement, press the START/STOP BUTTON. The cuff releases the
air and the main unit turns off.
The measured value displayed
The cuff releases the air, the measurement
stops and the main unit displays the result.
Turn off the main unit
Pressing the START/STOP BUTTON saves the measured value, and then the main
unit turns off automatically.
* When the main unit is left on, it turns off automatically approximately 3 minutes after saving
the measured value.

The product can also be used with the optional AC adaptor.
Connect the AC adaptor to the AC ADAPTOR JACK located to the right of the monitor.
The AC Adaptor is sold separately. Purchase the designated AC adaptor,
ADP-W5, separately from the unit.
When the batteries are properly inserted, “20 14” starts flashing on the display.
Set the year, month, day, hour and minute in order.

The number increases when the MEMORY BUTTON is pressed.
Touch the START/STOP BUTTON to confirm the setting.
Proceed to the next setting.

as dialysis and intravenous drip injection are used, do not connect the blood pressure monitor and
the system. An accident may be caused if the air enters a blood vessel.
• Consult a doctor before using the product for persons suffering from arrhythmia or peripheral
circulatory disorders caused by diabetes, liver disease, arteriosclerosis or hypertension.
• When using the cuff, use the supplied equipment. Using equipment other than that supplied may cause
measurement error.
• Measure the circumference of your upper arm and make sure that it is within the suggested range.
Using the product for an arm outside the suggested range may cause measurement error.
• Do not place heavy items on the product or tie up the air hose. It may damage the product.
• Do not make an impact on or drop the product. It may cause malfunctions or damage the product.
• Wear the cuff correctly and keep it level with the heart during measurement. Wearing the cuff
incorrectly or at the wrong height may cause measurement error.
• Be cautious that blood pressure is affected by the factors below.

• Press the START/STOP BUTTON if the product applies an excessive level of pressure to your arm.
Pressing the START/STOP BUTTON releases the air from the cuff immediately, and the product stops measuring.
• The cuff may leave bruises on your arm. If you feel any pain, press the START/STOP BUTTON to
stop the operation of the product. Pressing the START/STOP BUTTON releases the air from the cuff
immediately, and the product stops measuring.
• Do not plug/unplug the AC adaptor with wet hands, or touch it with tweezers, or other electronically
conductive devices.
• Do not touch another person while touching the batteries, battery terminals of the device or the output
plug of the AC adaptor, such as when replacing the batteries or plugging/unplugging the AC adaptor.
• Do not use new batteries in conjunction with old batteries or different types of batteries at the same
time. It may generate heat and damage the product.
• Pull the plug out from the power outlet if anything unusual is detected during use. Plugging the AC adaptor
in a power outlet located behind furniture may be inconvenient if it needs to be pulled out in an emergency.
• Do not unplug the AC adaptor by pulling the cable. It may damage the cable and cause a fire or electric shock.
• Take the batteries out when not using the product for a long period of time. Battery fluid may leak from
the batteries and damage the product.
• Do not allow children to handle the product alone or leave the product in a place children can
reach. It may injure the children.
• Do not disassemble, repair or modify the product. It may cause malfunctions or damage the product.
• Check if the product is dirty or wet before use.
• If the product stops functioning properly, stop using it. Please contact us for repair or assistance.
• Follow the local regulations of your area when disposing the product or batteries.
