detection range.When teaching isfinished,all the level indicatorswill light for0.5s,and the buzzerwill sound twice.
PatternMeasurementPlainMeasurement
The deviation levelwill become high if the sensing objecthasa pat-
tern. If the deviation level ishigherthan the setlevelofmeasurement
itemselection,patternmeasurementwill be performed.
The deviation levelwill be set tolowif the sensing objecthasno
pattern. If the setlevelofmeasurementitemselection ishigherthan
the deviation level,plainmeasurementwill be performed.
Plainmeasurementwill be performed if the patternis closetothe edge of
the sensing area.
Teaching Area
The deviation and average densityinthe teaching area areregis-
tered inthe above example. In otherwords, the sensing area is
restricted sothat the patternclosetothe edge will notinfluence
the resultsofobjectdiscrimination.
Teaching isperformed inthe area enclosed
bydotted linesinside the sensing area.The
patternclosetothe edge of the sensing area
isnotregistered asamodelbecausesuch a
patternmaynotbe always located inthe
sensing area and accuratemeasurement
cannotbe performed. Inthisexample, the
deviation level inthe area enclosed bythe
dotted linesis small.Therefore,plainmea-
surementwill be performed.
The setlevelofmeasurementitemselection isincreased
ordecreased bypressing the SELECTbuttons.Adjust the
levelaccording tothe background and deviation.The level
isfactory-setbetween 2 and 3.
If the objecthas somelight-colorlinesorlight-colorpat-
terns,patternmeasurementmaybe performed. Inthis
case,byincreasing the setlevelofmeasurementitem
selection,plainmeasurementwill be performed.

registered asamodel.
