6. Reapply the back liner by folding the liner in half vertically and placing in the center
of the shell. Unfold and press into the shell to secure. The widest part of liner should
be at the bottom edge and should extend past the edge at least ⅜˝ all the way
around.
7. Reapply the lower front liner and the chin pad liner in the same manner as
explainedabove.

Practitioner Application Instructions
1. Apply device to patient’s neck, making sure that the mandible is securely in the
recess of the chin section and the lower edge is ush with the thoracic region. If the
patient is in a recumbent position, apply posterior section of device rst. Utilize the
black tool that is included to loosen the section. Aluminum “Y” chin yoke, occipital
aluminum spine element can be adjusted by hand to desiredcontours.
2. The posterior occipital component has an aluminum spine element that can be
shaped for total customization and conformity of cervical arch.
3. Loosen the knobs slightly so the straps and buckles can align themselves to the
patient contours. Securing the straps in place, then tighten the knobs.
4. While securely holding the front portion in place slide the ladder straps into the
buckles. Start the buckles in the unlocked position. Once the straps are through the
buckle, you can place the buckles in the locked position. This allows the strap to be
tightened but prevents loosening.

Warranty does not cover device damage caused by accidents, neglect, misuse or operation
beyond capacity, parts damaged by improper installation, substitution of parts not
approved by Ottobock, or any alteration or repair by others that, in Ottobock’s judgment,
materially or adversely aect the device.
The duration of this Limited Warranty varies by product types and is eective from the

replace, refabricate the device at no charge, or refund the cost of the device to the original
