Anwenderfreundliche, anatomisch geformte Orthese.
Das Material transportiert Feuchtigkeit nach außen und hält die Haut trocken.
 
Kniebeschwerden mit mäßigen Bandinstabilitäten und/oder mäßigem Insta-
bilitätsgefühl, bei denen eine vorübergehende oder dauerhafte Extensions-
und/oder Flexionslimitierung des Kniegelenks indiziert ist
• Gonarthrose mit beginnender bis mäßiger degenerativer Bandinstabilität
und/oder leichtem bis mäßigen Instabilitätsgefühl (Kreuzband-betont)
• Posttraumatische und postoperative Instabilitäten und/oder Instabili-
tätsgefühl
• Rheumatoidarthritis
• Patellofemorales Schmerzsyndrom (z. B Chondromalacie, Chondropathia
patellae, Arthrose des Femoropatellargelenks)
2.1 Kontraindikation
 

Bei nachfolgenden Indikationen ist eine Rücksprache mit dem Arzt erforderlich:
Hauterkrankungen/-verletzungen, entzündliche Erscheinungen, aufgeworfene
Narben mit Schwellung, Rötung und Überwärmung im versorgten Körpe-
rabschnitt; Lymphabussstörungen – auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen
körperfern des Hilfsmittels; Empndungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen.
 

Der Patient ist in die ordnungsgemäße Handhabung/Pege des Pro-
duktes einzuweisen.
Die erstmalige Anpassung und Anwendung des Produktes darf nur
durch geschultes Fachpersonal erfolgen. Die tägliche Tragedauer und
der Anwendungszeitraum richten sich nach der medizinischen Indikation
durch den Arzt.

 Das Produkt
ist nur zum Gebrauch an einem Patienten bestimmt.
Eine zu fest angelegte Orthese/Bandage kann lokale Druckerscheinungen
und ggf. auch Einengungen an durchlaufenden Blutgefäßen/Nerven
verursachen. Produkt nicht zu fest anlegen.
Bei außergewöhnlichen Veränderungen (z. B. Zunahme der Beschwerden)
ist umgehend ein Arzt aufzusuchen.
Eine unsachgemäße Veränderung am Produkt darf nicht vorgenommen
werden.

 Bei längerem Kontakt mit
großer Hitze (z. B. durch längere Einwirkung von Zigarettenglut) kann
Orthesenmaterial schmelzen und zu Verbrennungen auf der Haut des
Patienten führen. Jegliche Zündquellen, insbesondere brennende Ziga-
retten, sollten grundsätzlich ferngehalten werden.

HINWEIS
Das Produkt
ist nicht ammsicher. Es darf keinem offenen Feuer oder anderen Hitze-
quellen ausgesetzt werden.
Das Produkt sollte nicht mit fett- und säurehaltigen Mitteln, Salben und
Lotionen in Berührung kommen. Dies kann die Verwendungsdauer –
insbesondere von Polstern – einschränken.
 
Die Schienen werden individuell von geschultem Personal eingestellt.
1) Einstellen der Gelenke mit dem Click-2-Go-System (Abb. 2)
Zum Einstellen des Bewegungsumfanges die gewünschten Extensions-
und Flexionsanschläge einsetzen. Beim Einsetzen der Anschläge klicken
diese nach Überwinden eines leichten Widerstandes ein.
Verfügbare Extensionsanschläge (funktioneller Winkel):
0°, 10°, 20°, 30°,45°
Verfügbare Flexionsanschläge (funktioneller Winkel):
0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°
Klettverschluss um das Gelenk herum schließen.

An beiden Gelenken, medial und lateral, müssen die gleichen An-
schlagwinkel eingestellt sein!
2) Knieorthese so hochziehen, dass die Öffnung mittig auf der Knieschei-
be liegt.
3) Gurte hinten an Wade und Oberschenkel anziehen. Nach der ersten
Einstellung die hinteren Gurte am besten geschlossen halten, auch bei
der Wäsche.
4) Gurte vorn unten und oben anziehen.
 
1) Herausnehmbare Schienen entfernen.
2) Alle Klettverschlüsse schließen.

3) Bei 40 °C am besten im Waschsack waschen.
4) Gut ausspülen, bis alle Seifenreste entfernt sind.
5) In nassem Zustand ziehen und trocknen.
6) Schienen einstecken – Produktnummern und -buchstaben auf der Schiene
müssen von außen sichtbar sein (Abb. 3).
 
Das Produkt ist für den Einsatz an einem Patienten konzipiert. Der Wie-
dereinsatz ist nicht zulässig.
Die tägliche Tragedauer und der Anwendungszeitraum richten sich nach
der medizinischen Indikation.
 
Der Hersteller haftet nur, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Bedin-
gungen und zu den vorgegebenen Zwecken eingesetzt wird. Der Hersteller
empehlt, das Produkt sachgemäß zu handhaben und entsprechend der
Anleitung zu pegen.
 
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der Richtlinie 93 / 42 / EWG für Me-
dizinprodukte. Aufgrund der Klassizierungskriterien für Medizinprodukte
nach Anhang IX der Richtlinie wurde das Produkt in die Klasse I eingestuft.
Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb von Otto Bock in alleiniger Ver-
antwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

Extra-stabilising and relieving knee support. Double-jointed and lockable
aluminium bars along the sides. User-friendly brace which is anatomically
designed. A material which drains away moisture and keeps the skin dry.
 
Knee pain with light to moderate ligament laxities and/or perception of
instability with indication for permanent or temporary limitation of exion
and/or extension:
• osteoarthritis with light to moderate degenerative ligament laxities and/
or perception of instability (ACL, PCL)
• post-traumatic and post-operative ligament laxities or perception of
instability
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Patello-femoral pain syndrome (e.g. chondromalacia, chondropathy of
the patella, beginning osteoarthritis of the patellofemoral joint)
2.1 Contraindications
 
None.
 
In case of the following indications, consultation with a physician is required:
Skin diseases/injuries, inammatory symptoms, prominent scars on body
parts to which the support is to be applied that are swollen, reddened and

feel excessively warm; lymphatic ow disorders, including unclear soft tis-
sue swelling distant to the body area to which the support is to be applied;
sensory and circulatory disorders.
 

The patient is to be instructed in the proper use/care of the product.
The initial tting and application of the product must be carried out by
trained, qualied personnel only. The daily duration of use and period
of application are dependent on medical indication by the physician.

 The product is designed for
use on one patient only. For hygienic reasons, stockings are always to
be worn under the orthosis.
An orthosis/support applied too tightly to the body can cause local pres-
sure and, in some cases, even restrict adjacent vessels or nerves. Do
not apply the product too tightly. Consult a physician immediately if you
experience unusual changes (such as increase in pain).
Improper changes to the product are not permitted.

 When an orthosis gets into contact
with great heat for a longer time (e.g. longer exposure to cigarette em-
bers), the orthosis‘ material can melt and cause burns on the patient‘s
skin. Keep away from all sources of ignition, especially lit cigarettes.
NOTICE
 This
product is not ame-resistant. Keep the product away from ames or
other heat sources.
The product should not come into contact with grease or acidic agents,
unguents and lotions, as this can reduce the useful life – especially of pads.

The bars are set individually by trained personnel.
1) Adjusting the Joints using the Click 2 Go System (Fig. 2)
In order to exchange the stops; Insert the desired extension and exion stops.
When inserting the stops they will engange with slight resistance.
Available (functional angle) extension stops:
0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°.
Available (functional angle) exion stops:
0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°.
Close the Velcro® tape around the joint.

Both medial and lateral joints must be tted with the same degree stops!
2) Pull up the knee support so that the hole in front is aligned with the kneecap.
3) Tighten the band at the back on the calf and thigh. The back band may
well be left closed after initial adjustment, even when washing.
4) Tighten the band at the front on the calf and thigh.
 
1) Remove detachable bars.
2) Close all Velcro© fasteners.
3) Wash at 40 °C / 104 °F using a laundry bag, if possible.
4) Rinse thoroughly so that all residual detergent is removed.
5) Stretch while wet, and then dry.
6) Insert the bars – product number on the bar must be visible from the
outside (Fig. 3)
 
The product is designed for use on one patient only. Re-use of the product
is not permitted.
The daily duration of use and period of application are dependent on the
medical indication.

The manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the device has been used
under the conditions and for the purposes described. The manufacturer
recommends that the device be used and maintained according to the
instructions for use.

mentaire et/ou sensation d’instabilité légère à modérée (accentuée au
niveau du ligament croisé))

2.1 Contre-indications
 
Aucune.
 
Il est nécessaire de consulter un médecin en présence des indications
suivantes: affections/lésions cutanées, inammations, cicatrices exubé-
rantes avec gonement, rougeur et hyperthermie dans la partie du corps
appareillée; troubles de la circulation lymphatique, également gonements
inexpliqués des parties molles à distance du dispositif médical; troubles
de la sensibilité et de la circulation.
 

Il convient d’expliquer au patient comment utiliser/entretenir correcte-
ment le produit.
Seul le personnel spécialisé formé à cet effet est habilité à procéder au
premier ajustement et à la première utilisation du produit. Le médecin
détermine la durée quotidienne du port de l’orthèse et sa période d’uti-
lisation en fonction de l’indication médicale.

 Le
produit est conçu pour être utilisé par un seul patient. L’orthèse ne doit
pas être portée avec des bas pour des raisons hygiéniques.

Un(e) orthèse/bandage trop serré(e) peut provoquer des pressions
locales ou même comprimer les vaisseaux sanguins/nerfs de la région
concernée. Ne pas trop serrer le produit. Consulter un médecin dans
les plus brefs délais en cas de changements anormaux (augmentation
des douleurs, par ex.).
Il est interdit de procéder à des changements inadaptés sur le produit.

 Le contact prolongé
avec une source de chaleur intense (effets des contacts prolongés avec
la cendre de cigarette, par ex.) peut faire fondre le matériau de l’orthèse
et brûler la peau du patient. N’approchez aucune source d’ignition du
produit, notamment les cigarettes allumées.

 Le produit ne résiste pas au feu. Ne pas le porter à proximité
d’un poêle ouvert ou de toute autre source de chaleur.
Éviter tout contact du produit avec des produits contenant de la graisse
et des acides, des pommades et des lotions. Cela peut limiter la durée
de l’utilisation, notamment des rembourrages.
 
Les attelles sont réglées individuellement par du personnel qualié.
1) Réglage de l’articulation avec le système Click-2-Go (ill. 2)
Utiliser la butée d’extension et de exion souhaitée pour régler l’ampleur
du mouvement. Lors de l’utilisation de ces butées, celles-ci s’encliquètent
après avoir opposé une légère résistance.
Butées d’extension disponibles (angle fonctionnel):
0°, 10°, 20°, 30°,45°
Butées de exion disponibles (angle fonctionnel):
0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°
Refermer la fermeture velcro autour de l’articulation.

Le même angle de butée doit être réglé sur l’articulation médiale et
sur l’articulation latérale!
2) Redresser l’orthèse de façon à ce que l’ouverture se trouve au centre
de la rotule.
3) Serrer la sangle à l’arrière du mollet et de la cuisse. Après le premier
réglage, il est préférable de garder la sangle arrière fermée, y compris
lors du lavage.
4) Enler sur le devant les sangles inférieure et supérieure.
 
1) Retirer les attelles amovibles.
2) Fermer toutes les fermetures velcro.
3) Il est conseillé de laver le produit à 40 °C dans une pochette pour linge
délicat.
4) Bien rincer pour éliminer tous les restes de savon.
5) Étirer le produit mouillé et le laisser sécher.
6) Introduire les attelles – les numéros et les lettres gurant sur l’attelle
doivent être visibles de l’extérieur (ill. 3).
 
Ce produit est conçu pour une utilisation par un seul patient. Il est interdit
de réutiliser le produit.
La durée quotidienne du port de l’orthèse et sa période d’utilisation sont
déterminées en fonction de l’indication médicale.
 
Le fabricant accorde uniquement une garantie si le produit a fait l’objet d’une
utilisation conforme aux instructions prévues par le fabricant et dont l’usage
est celui auquel il est destiné. Le fabricant conseille de manier le produit
conformément à l’usage et de l’entretenir conformément aux instructions.
 
Ce produit répond aux exigences de la directive 93 / 42 / CEE relative aux
dispositifs médicaux. Le produit a été classé dans la catégorie I en raison

2.1 Controindicazioni
 
Nessuna.
 
Per i seguenti quadri clinici è necessaria una consultazione medica: pato-
logie o lesioni della pelle, inammazioni, cicatrici con comparsa di gonori,
arrossamenti e surriscaldamento nell’area del corpo interessata; disturbi
al sistema linfatico – anche in caso di gonori dei tessuti molli di origine
non chiara, indipendenti dall’impiego dell’ausilio; disturbi alla sensibilità
e disturbi circolatori.
 

Il paziente deve essere istruito su come maneggiare/conservare il pro-
dotto correttamente.
Il primo adattamento e la prima applicazione del prodotto devono es-
sere eseguiti esclusivamente da personale addestrato e specializzato.
La durata dell’uso giornaliero e la durata del trattamento dipendono
dall’indicazione medica.

 Il prodotto è concepito
esclusivamente per l’impiego su un paziente. Per motivi igienici l’ortesi
va sempre portata sopra le calze.
Ortesi e fasce applicate in modo eccessivamente stretto possono causare
la comparsa di punti di pressione localizzati ed eventualmente compri-
mere vasi sanguigni e nervi. Non stringere il prodotto eccessivamente.
In presenza di alterazioni insolite (ad es. aumento dei disturbi), si deve
consultare immediatamente un medico.
Non è consentito effettuare modiche inadeguate al prodotto.

 Il contatto prolungato con calore
intenso (ad esempio per l’azione prolungata di brace di sigaretta) può
far bruciare il materiale di cui è fatta l’ortesi e provocare ustioni alla
pelle del paziente. La vicinanza a amme libere e scintille, in particolare
a sigarette accese, va pertanto evitata.
AVVISO
 Il prodotto non è
ignifugo e pertanto non va indossato in prossimità di amme libere o
altre fonti di calore.
Evitate il contatto del prodotto con unguenti, sostanze acide, creme e
lozioni, perché questo può comprometterne la durata d’impiego, in par-
ticolare quella delle imbottiture.
 
Le guide devono essere regolate individualmente da personale esperto.
1) Regolare i legamenti con il Sistema Click-2-Go (gura 2)
Per la regolazione dell’angolo di movimento, regolare gli arresti di es-
sione e di estensione come desiderato. Durante la regolazione degli
arresti, cliccare sugli stessi no a quando si è superata una leggera
resistenza.
Arresti di estensione disponibili (angolo funzionale):
0°, 10°, 20°, 30°,45°
Arresti di essione disponibili (angolo funzionale):
0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°
Chiudere il cinturino intorno al legamento.

Su entrambi i legamenti, quello mediale e quello laterale, deve essere
regolato lo stesso angolo di arresto!
2) Tirare verso l’alto l’ortesi in modo tale che la apertura si trovi al centro
della rotula.

3) Stringere la fascia sul retro, sul polpaccio e sulla coscia. Dopo la prima
regolazione, la fascia sul retro deve essere lasciata sempre chiusa,
anche durante il lavaggio.
4) Stringere la fascia sul davanti nella parte inferiore e superiore.
 
1) Rimuovere le guide smontabili.
2) Chiudere tutti i cinturini in velcro.
3) Lavare a 40° preferibilmente in un sacco per biancheria.
4) Risciacquare accuratamente per eliminare eventuali residui di sapone.
5) Distendere da bagnato e asciugare.
6) Inlare le guide – i numeri e le lettere del prodotto sulla guida devono
essere visibili dalla parte esterna (gura 3).
 
Il prodotto è concepito esclusivamente per l’impiego su un paziente. Non
è consentito il riutilizzo.
La durata del trattamento e il tempo d’applicazione giornaliero dipendono
dall’indicazione medica.
 
La garanzia è valida solo qualora il prodotto venga impiegato agli scopi
previsti e alle condizioni riportate. Il produttore raccomanda di utilizzare
correttamente il prodotto e di attenersi alle istruzioni fornite.
 
Il prodotto è conforme agli obblighi della direttiva CEE 93 / 42 relativa ai
prodotti medicali. In virtù dei criteri di classicazione per prodotti medicali
ai sensi dell’allegato IX della direttiva, il prodotto è stato classicato sotto
la classe I. La dichiarazione di conformità è stata pertanto emessa dalla
Otto Bock, sotto la propria unica responsabilità, ai sensi dell’allegato VII
