Product description
For swimming pools up to 100m3.
The heater comes with an adjustable thermostat with a temperature range 0-45° C, overheating protection with a maximum
refractive temperature of 60° C and a ow switch that breaks voltage when the water ow is less than 90 l/min.
Casing is made of reinforced thermoplastic, short (3, 6, 9 kW) or long (12, 15, 18 kW).
The heater is available in two different versions: Incoloy 825 or with a titanium power cartridge. Titan is used in aggressive
water, salt water or in pools with chlorine machine/salt chlorinator.
Connections are made of PVC for internal attachments to PVC pipes Ø50 mm.

General installation instruction
The heater should be installed at least 200 mm below normal water level in the pool, see example.
Connection must be made with PVC tube Ø50mm (int. Ø42mm) with at least 200 mm straight length before and after the heater.
Mount the heater so that it is always full of water.
If the heater is placed against combustible material, place a reproof disc or a similar object between the heater and the wall.
The disc should cover 10 cm outside the heater external wall. The heater must not be covered.
Install the heater in such a way that it can be drained of all water.
The heater must be installed on the return line to the pool after the lter. Do not install a shut-off valve between the heater and
the pool. If a valve is required, install a check valve.
Chlorine, acid or the like dosing should be done AFTER the heater to avoid corrosion.

Electric installation
After a complete pipe installation, the heater is electrically connected. It must be connected over two contactors, see the
connections diagram.
Electric installation may be performed only by a qualied electrician.
Installation must be performed so that the heater cannot be switched on without the system lter pump being in operation
(the operating current of the heater contactor is controlled over the pump’s motor protection).

Troubleshooting
1. Check the fuses.
2. The overheating protection may have tripped:
Find the cause. After the cause has been found and corrected, the overheating protection must be reset
- Remove protective cover, see Fig. 1 below.
- Press the reset button on the junction box, see Fig. 2 below.
- Replace protective cover.
3. Check that the ow monitor is preset at a minimum ow rate of 90 l/min.
4. Set the thermostat to a higher temperature.

Start
1. Fill water into the pool up to the right level.
2. Start the pump for the pool water circulation.
3. Make sure that water circulates normally in the system before the power to the heater is turned on. The heater will start only
when the system is emptied of all air.
4. The heater functional test:
Turn the thermostat knob back and forth and check that the thermostat switch is turning on and off.
The ow monitor is checked by switching off the ow through the heater with a shut-off valve, and check that the contactor is
switching off.
5. Set the desired pool temperature by turning the knob to the desired temperature.
6. The heater shall now heat the pool water to the desired temperature.
Operation
When ushing and cleaning the lter, turn off the heater power. In case of freezing, switch off the power and drain the heater of
all water.
General information
Ensure good operation and long life of the electric heater by following water quality limit values below.
Chlorine content: max 3,5 mg/l (ppm)*
pH value: 7,2 - 7,6
Alkalinity: 60-120 mg/l (ppm)
Calcium hardness: 100-300 mg/l (ppm)
Iron: max 0,1 mg/l (ppm)*
Copper: max 0,2 mg/l (ppm)*
Manganese: max 0,05 mg/l (ppm)*
Phosphorus: max 0,01 mg/l (ppm)*
Nitrate: max 50 mg/l (ppm)*
Incoloy
Chloride (salt) content: max 250 mg/l (ppm)
Titanium
Chloride (salt) content: max 35 000 mg/l (ppm) * according to EN 16713-3
If water quality limit values are not met, the product warranty is not valid.
