8Motorcycle service and security system Pandect X-1100
Controlling security mode
To arm or disarm a security system while in the range of radio
channel (about 5 meters from the motorcycle) push a button on the
immobilizer tag. The system will communicate dialog security codes
(AES-128 encryption) in 2.4 GHz range on one of 125 channels and
your security system will be armed or disarmed. Special arming/
disarming algorithm is available for motorcycles. Arming is performed
by pressing the clutch lever when ignition is switched off; disarming
is performed by pressing the clutch lever when the system is armed.
The presence of the tag in radio the zone is controlled when arming/
disarming is performed. Arming/disarming using the clutch lever is
not allowed when the tag is not in the radio zone.
Hands free mode
System allows for programmable HANDS FREE arming/disarming. To arm the system when the
engine is running, simply move immobilizer tag away from the motorcycle outside of the 2.4 GHz
radio channel radius (more than 10 meters). To disarm the system move the tag back into the radius.
Slave mode
In this mode original motorcycle security system can be controlled via CAN or analog inputs. When
arming and disarming motorcycle’s original security system, Pandect X-1100 will arm and disarm too.
This does not require an immobilizer tag to be present in range, however, the engine will be blocked if
there will be an attempt to drive away without a tag present.

(instructions at page 20).
Enter the first digit of the service code by Valet button (press the button a number of times equal
to the initial number, pauses between presses of the button should not exceed 1 second). The system
will confirm entry with red flash of the indicator. Enter the second, the third and the fourth digits the
same way. The system will confirm the correct code with red and green .ashes of the indicator. If the
code is entered incorrectly, a long red indicator’s flash will indicate it.
To switch on the immobilizer and AntiHiJack, enter the 15th programming level, LED will flash red
color. Press Valet button one time, LED will light with green color, the siren will sound one short beep.
Arming/disarming via a phone
To control the security system via a phone, call the system’s phone number, wait for response and
dial 1* to arm the system or 0* to disarm it.
ATTENTION! AFTER DIALING THIS COMMAND YOU WILL NEED TO ENTER A SECRET
PIN CODE FROM THE INDIVIDUAL OWNER’S PLASTIC CARD.

11User manual
Service-security system Pandect X-1100 is a highly effective antitheft and anti-hi-jack
security mean. System set has 2 immobilizer tags. For additional security 1 to 3 radio relays can
be installed on a motorcycle.
Immobilizer mode
When ignition is being switched on, Pandect X-1100 moto base unit performs a search for
immobilizer tags in radio range. If when the ignition is switched on no radio tags were detected, the
system will lock the engine with all radio relays that were programmed into the system. If analog relay
blockage is installed, it will lock immediately, before the motorcycle starts moving. If additional radio
relays blockages were installed, engine lock will only occur when radio relay motion sensor detects
movement of the motorcycle.
AntiHiJack mode
ANTIHIJACK mode helps to prevent aggressive stealing of the motorcycle when engine is running
and to protect the driver by using delayed engine blockage.
Every time when the engine is running and the brake pedal is pressed, immobilizer requests
response from the RF tag, using unique algorithm. After brake pedal was pressed while the engine
is running and the system cannot detect a radio tag, the engine will be stopped after 60 seconds
(Requirement to ensure driver safety). From the 30th second,“engine blockage warning“ ringtone will
play for the remaining 30 seconds.
If engine blockage is done via radio relay, when warning signals will end, or new attempts to start
the engine will commence, immobilizer will only allow it to start when the motorcycle is not moving,
and will block it again if will start movement. Immobilizer will be activated in 2 seconds after the
ignition is switched on. If the motorcycle starts moving, the immobilizer will block the engine for 15
seconds.
When the tag is returned into radio range the blockage will be canceled.
If engine blockage is done using analog relays, then when the sound signals end the engine will
be forced to stop until a tag will be detected again.

12 Motorcycle service and security system Pandect X-1100
Replacing immobilizer tag battery
Carefully open the cover of the tag’s battery compartment. Extract discharged battery and insert
a new one keeping in mind the correct polarity. Replacing a battery will not cause a loss of tag code
information, as authorization data is stored in the nonvolatile memory of the MCU.
Carefully close the cover of the tag’s battery compartment. All elements of construction should be
rigidly locked in places. If it is so, the tag can be operated as usually.

13User manual
Control over system in case of emergency, entering individual PIN code
In case you cannot disarm the system using a tag, owner’s individual PIN code can be used.
Individual PIN code is written on the owner’s plastic card under protective layer. Erase the protective
layer and use VALET button to input the PIN code.
1. Using VALET button, input the first digit of the code (press the button a number of times,
equal to the first digit; pauses between presses should not exceed 1 seconds). The system will confirm
with red LED indicator flash.
2. Similarly input second, third and fourth digit. Every input will be confirmed with red LED flash.
3. The system will confirm correct PIN with red and green flashes of LED indicator.
If the input was incorrect, it will be indicated with long red flash. New input can be attempted after
5 seconds.
4. If the system was armed, after entering the correct PIN code it will be disarmed.
ATTENTION! MAKE SURE THAT PROTECTIVE LAYER ON THE OWNER’S PLASTIC
CARD IS INTACT AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF THE SYSTEM. PLASTIC CARD HOLDS
INDIVIDUAL PIN CODE AND ONLINE SERVICE ACCESS INFORMATION.
For emergency arming when the engine is stopped, press and hold VALET button for 3 seconds.
The system will confirm with buzzer signal and will be armed in 30 seconds.
While there is a countdown, the LED will be lit red.

20 Motorcycle service and security system Pandect X-1100
General installation requirements
•Rigidlysecureeveryelementofthesystem, as regular usage of the motorcycle can
create conditions that may damage not only the
functionality of motorcycle alarm, but also the
standard systems of the motorcycle, including
the in-movement security elements.
•Thesysteminstallationisbettertobedonewith disabled connectors and disconnected
battery minus clamp.
•TheinstallationofCAN-buswiresshouldbeconducted only when the power of the base unit
is switched off.
•Theinstallationofthemotorcyclealarmcan be conducted by twisting the wires together
or soldering with lead-tin solder and subsequent
isolation of the attachment area.
•Whenconnectingthewirestogether, payattention to the diameter and the materials of
the wires. When they are different, bring the
electrochemical potentials to the minimum
difference. Thoroughly isolate such combination.
Moisture should not be entering the area of
contact, as it will increase the electrochemical
corrosion of the conductors (important for
circuits with heavy current flows).
•Itisrecommendedtoplacecommutableconnections as high as possible in chambers so
that the water condensate that forms on the wire
does not form water drops on the connection
area. •Whencommutatingthewires, leavealittle slack, allowing sufficient sag to prevent the
destruction of the compounds from vibration
when driving.
•Donotinstallthewiresinplaceswheretheir isolation can be damaged by attrition.
•Placetheelectroniccomponentsofthesystem higher and sockets down, to avoid the
condensate leaking in the PCB and electronic
components through the sockets gaps.
•Mountingthebaseunitofthealarm, ensureits rigid attachment to the motorcycle body for
the proper operation of the shock sensor.
•Itisrecommendedtoshortenallunusedoutputs of the system during the installation,
reliably insulate and fixate them in order to avoid
the occasional touch with the motorcycle body
or any the other conductors.
