Check Kennel Alignment
For the best roof fit, the kennel panels should be
set up as illustrated below (1A).The kennel should
also be squared, which means that each kennel
corner is at a 90 degree angle.
Using the measuring tape, measure the kennel1. diagonally from corner to corner. If your
measurements are less than or equal to one
half inch (13mm) from each other, your kennel
is square.
If your measurements exceed one half inch,2. adjust the kennel so that each corner is close
to a 90 degree angle. Measure the kennel again
and continue to make adjustments until the
kennel is square.

Assemble Ridge Frame Corners
Gather (Quantity):
(2) UprightTubes(2) SwedgedTubes(2) Elbows(2) Left Upright Clamps(2) Right Upright Clamps(4) Small Carriage Bolts(4) Nuts
Start on the outside of the kennel at the gate1. panel.Take one left and one right upright
clamp, two carriage bolts and two nuts and

loosely attach the clamp to the center of the top rail of the kennel
(2A).The bolt should be attached to the clamp so that the nut is
facing the outside of the kennel.
Important: For proper roof alignment, the area of the clamp
that will hold the upright tubes must be in the center of the
kennel. Measure the length of the kennel to determine the
center and ensure that the upright tube will be centered.
Take one elbow and insert it into the end of one upright tube. Insert2. one of the swedged tubes into the other end of the elbow (2B).
Place the tube and elbow assembly into the clamp so that the pin3. on the elbow is pointed to the outside of the kennel (2C). Loosely
tighten the clamp so that the tube is secure and let the assembly rest
against the kennel. Do not fully tighten the clamp until the rest of
the frame is assembled.
Repeat Steps 1 – 3 on the opposite side using the remaining components.4.

Assemble the Center Frame and Connect
to Ridge Frame Corners
Gather (Quantity):
CenterTubing(4) Center Connector Clamps(2) Large Carriage Bolts(2) Nuts(2)Tubing withTwo Holes
Take two center connector clamps, one1. large carriage bolt, one nut and loosely
attach it to the center of the tube so that
the nut will be facing the ground. Attach
the remaining clamps, bolt and nut to the
tube in the opposite direction, again with
the nut facing the ground. Position both
clamps so that they are in the center of the
tube (3A).
Take the two straight tubes with holes2. and insert one into the open end of each
of clamps so that the holes are facing the
ground. Loosely tighten the clamp.
Take this assembly and connect it to the3. ridge frame corners built in Step 2. Insert
the center tube of this assembly onto the
swedged tubes from the ridge frame corners.
Let the remaining tubes hang down from
the center (3B).

Note: Depending on how the Center Brace
Clamps that are assembled in the next step
line up with the center frame assembly, you
may need to switch positions on the center
clamps.

Connect Center Brace Clamps and
Tubing with Button to Roof Frame
Gather (Quantity):
(2) SwedgedTubing with Button(2)Top Center Brace Clamps(2) Bottom Center Brace Clamps(4) Small Carriage Bolts(4) Nuts
Take the two swedged tubing with button1. and insert one into the open end of each of
the clamps so that the button is facing the
ground. Insert the swedged end of each tube
into the tubes with holes on the roof frame.

Kennel with 10 ft. wide panels: Insert the tube until the button comes through the 1st hole.– Kennel with 5 ft. wide panels: Insert the tube until the button comes through the 2nd hole.–
Take one top center brace clamp, one bottom center brace clamp, two small carriage bolts and two2. nuts. Loosely attach the top and bottom clamps to the center top rail on one side of the kennel (4A).
The opening for the tube should be facing the inside of the kennel. Repeat this step on the opposite
side with the remaining clamps, bolts and nuts.
5 ft. wide panel note: Pay careful attention to location of center frame assembly in order
to match positions of the center brace clamps.The locking buttons should face down, away
from the tarp.
Once the frame is completely assembled, tighten all of the clamps.3.
Fit theTarp on the Roof Frame
Gather (Quantity):

Unfold the tarp and turn it right side up.1. Start on the inside of the kennel. Place the tarp over the roof frame2. on one end of the kennel. Fit the grommet located at the peak
of the SunBlock panel onto the plastic pin on the elbow (5A).
Repeat this step on the opposite side and ensure that the grommets
properly fit on the elbow pins.
Drape the sides of the tarp on the outside of the kennel side panels.3.

Secure theTarp to the Kennel
Gather (Quantity):
(4) Ball Bungee Cords(15) CableTies
Attach one ball bungee cord to each of the four sides of the kennel at the corners. Fit the ball bungee1. cord through the grommets on the tarp and around the mesh or chain link of the kennel. Be sure that
the fit is tight.
Attach the sides of the tarp and the SunBlock panels to the kennel using the cable ties.Attach each2. cable tie through a tarp grommet and the wire mesh (tarp sides) and top rail (SunBlock panel). Once
all of the cable ties are in place, tighten them and snip off any excess using the wire cutters. Save any
remaining cable ties for future use.
