Replacing
the
batteries
A)
Move
the
M-T-O
switch
to
the
"0"
(Off) position.
B)
Open the
battery
compartment.
C)
Insert
a
type
13
battery
so
that
the
+ sign on
the
battery
(flat
side) corresponds
to
the
+ mark in
the
battery
compartment.
D)
Push
the
battery
compartment
gently
back
into
position.
Impcrtant:
Handle
the
battery
compartment
gently, do
not
use force.
If
there
is
any
resistance, ensure
that
the
battery
is
correctly
inserted in
the
battery
compartment.
The
door
will
not
close properly
if
the
battery
is
upside-down.

tele-coil
is
activated.

The
microphone
is

Volume
control

To
increase volume,
turn
the
control
upward;
to
decrease
volume

turn
the
control
downward.

'T'
stands
for
tele-coil.
This
function
allows
you
to
use
a hearing
instrument
compatible
telephone receiver, or
to
take advantage
of
a special loop
conductor
system
which
is
frequently
installed
in
schools, churches,
theatres
etc. For
further

consult
your
hearingcare

using the hearing instruments for a long period
of
time,

remove the batteries.

When
instruments
are
not
in
use,
store them safely
in
the
case.

spray,
creams
and
make-up
can
damage
hearing instruments.
Remo
ve
instruments before applying cosmetics.

If
your PicoForte3s fail to operate after
you
have
correctly inserted
new
batteries,
contact your hearingcare professional for advice.

you a comprehensive global
warranty
which
becomes
effective
on
the
date
of
purchase. Please ask
your
hearing
healthcare
professional
about
the
details
and
duration.
This
warranty
covers any repairs due
to
defects
in
material
and/or
workman-
ship.
The
warranty
does
not
cover damage from
improper
handling
or
ca
re
, exposure
to
chemicals,
immersion
in
water
or
undue stress. Damage caused by
third
parties or
non-
authorized
service centers renders
the
Phonak
warranty
null and void. This
warranty
does
not
include
any services performed by a hearing professional in
their
office.
