(A) Use liquid thread lock (such as Loctite
®
) with all threaded hardware. Important: Liquid thread lock (prior to
curing) helps to eliminate the common problem of "thread seizure" in stainless steel hardware by serving as a
lubricant during assembly.
(B) Refer to Installation Manual for 1107 Curved Deck & 1327 Access Wall installation instructions.
(C) An appropriate energy absorbing safety surface is required under and around all playground equipment.

Step 1
Install Curved Deck. (See Note B)
Step 2
Refer to Top View and adjust footing hole location(s)
provided in attaching component's installation
instructions by the distance given.
(See Examples on Page 3)
Step 3
Align Adapter face to deck face and attach as shown
in Figure 2. (See Note A)
Step 4
Attach Access Wall to deck. Complete attaching Adapter
to deck face as shown in Figure 3. (See Notes A & B)
NOTE: Use (2) 3/8" x 1-1/2" Button Head Bolts included
with Curved Deck Climber Adapter assembly.
Step 5
Fully tighten all fasteners according to the
"TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR HARDWARE"
section of the Installation Manual.
Step 6
Place required protective surfacing under and around
Curved Deck Climber Adapter. (See Note C)

CURVED DECK CLIMBER ADAPTER:
Shall be fabricated using 12 gauge sheet steel. The
Curved Deck Climber Adapter shall be Play-Tuff™
coated after fabrication.
HARDWARE:
Shall be stainless steel, zinc/nickel plated or
galvanized as required to resist rust and corrosion.
* Distance given in attaching component's installation instructions.
Periodically tighten all screws, bolts and nuts. A
periodic inspection of all parts is necessary. If a part
is broken or worn, replace immediately. For general
maintenance please refer to our Playground
Maintenance Manual.
