
• Put the automatic refilling tank cap (20)
back in its seat proceeding inversely as
done before. Make sure to place it cor-
rectly.
• Pull the lid (22) upwards as shown in Fig.2
to release it.
• Lift the water container (25) out of its
housing by the handle (26), pushing the
built-in socket flap (24) aside as shown in
Fig. 3.
• Press the opening lever of the water con-
tainer handle (27) and pull (Fig. 4).
• Remove the water filter assembly (28)
(fig.5) and fill the container (25) with about
0.5 l of ordinary tap water.
• Add one dose (a full cap) of antifoam (38)
to the water.
• Put the filter assembly (28) back in the wa-
ter container (25) in its initial position.
Close the container handle (26), ensuring
it is closed properly.
• Put the water container back, proceeding
in opposite order to the above and making
sure that the air hose present on the water
filter assembly is aligned with the connec-
tion on the appliance.
• Put the lid back (22), aligning the two
levers on the lid with the two seats on the
appliance, turning the lid to connect it.

• Open the built-in socket flap (24); fit the
unit plug (B2) by pushing it, without press-
ing the button, until you hear the click of
the locking mechanism, then make sure it
is well locked (fig. 6).
• To disconnect the unit plug (B2) from the
appliance, push the button (B3) and pull
the unit so as to separate it from the appli-
ance.
• Plug the cable into a suitable power outlet.
Operation with Steam + Suction
• Press the main switch (1) below the con-
trol panel. The first level of suction indica-
tors (10) will start to flash.
• Press the boiler ON switch (2). The boiler
ON indicator (4) will light up.
• Wait for the pressure indicator (6) to light
up.
NOTE: The steam/water push-button (35)
must be set on “steam”, and the indicator
(37) must be green.
Now Mondial Vap is ready to generate
steam.
You can supply steam by pressing the
steam push-button (A5) on the handle. At
the same time you can also control suction
by pressing the suction push-button (A4).
• To start suction it is possible to use either
the suction ON push-button (8) on the
control panel or the suction push-button
(A4) on the handle (A2).
Note: The handle (A2) has a safety button
(A3) that prevents accidental activation of
the steam release by children or persons
who are unaware of how the appliance
works. If the appliance is left temporarily
unattended while it is on remember to
place the safety button (A3) in the locked
position. To resume delivery, return the
button to its initial position.
Operation with suction only
For correct use of the suction function read
the section “Suction power control /switching
OFF”.
• If you wish to use the suction function only,
press the main switch (1) below the con-
trol panel. The first level of the suction UP
indicators (10) will start to flash.
• You can activate the suction function ei-
ther by using the ON push-button (8) on
the control panel or by the suction push-
button (A4) on the handle (A2).
• From the control panel: Press the ON
push-button (8) and hold it down for a few
seconds. The suction fan will start to run
at the lowest speed, and the first level of
the suction UP indicators (10) will stop
flashing and remain steadily lit.
• From the handle: press the push-button
(A4) on the handle (A2). The suction fan
will start to run at the lowest speed, and
the first level of the indicators (10) will stop
flashing and remain steadily lit.
