Warnhinweise
Die Zusatzscheinwerfer dürfen nicht im öentlichen Straßenverkehr verwendet bzw. aktiviert werden!
Zum Schutz anderer Verkehrsteilnehmer sind im öentlichen Straßenverkehr die dafür vorgesehenen
Scheinwerferabdeckungen (5) zu verwenden.
Geschwindigkeitshinweise und allgemeine Hinweise zum Dachtransportsystem und Aufsatzmodulen in
der Fahrzeugbedienungsanleitung beachten.
Fehlende oder falsche Sicherung
ΈEin ungesichertes oder falsch gesichertes Dachtransportsystem kann sich während der Fahrt
vom Fahrzeug lösen und schwere Unfälle verursachen.
ΈEinzelne Aufsatzmodule möglichst mittig zu den Stützfüßen montieren.
ΈDachtransportsystem und Aufsatzmodule vor jeder Fahrt und während längeren Fahrten in regelmäßigen
Abständen auf einwandfreien und festen Sitz überprüfen.
ΈSämtliche Befestigungsschrauben regelmäßig nachziehen.
Verändertes Fahrverhalten
ΈBei montiertem und bei beladenem Dachtransportsystem ändert sich das Fahrverhalten.
ΈFahrweise anpassen.
ΈBei beladenem Dachtransportsystem nicht schneller als 130 km/h fahren.
ΈBei montiertem Dachtransportsystem ohne Lasten nicht schneller als 180 km/h fahren.
Ungesicherte oder falsch gesicherte Ladung
ΈUngesicherte oder falsch gesicherte Ladung kann sich während der Fahrt vom Dachtransportsystem
lösen und schwere Unfälle verursachen.
ΈLadung gegen Lageveränderung während der Fahrt absichern.
ΈDachtransportsystem und Aufsatzmodul so beladen, dass das Ladegut seitlich nicht über das
Dachtransportsystem hinausragt. Die Fahrzeugbreite darf keinesfalls überschritten werden.
ΈKeine Gummispanner verwenden.
ΈSchwerpunkt der Last möglichst tief zum Dachtransportsystem legen und Ladung gleichmäßig auf
die Ladeäche verteilen.
Wartungshinweise
ΈZum Waschen warmes Wasser und Spülmittel verwenden. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass kein Wasser
in den Stecker für die Zusatzscheinwerfereinheit eindringt.
ΈDachkorb nicht auf der Zusatzscheinwerfereinheit lagern.
Έ Es wird empfohlen den Dachkorb auf einem der äußeren Prole zu lagern und eine geeignete Unterlage
zu verwenden.

Vorbereitung
Vor der Montage des Dachkorbs müssen zunächst die
Dachträger wie in der Fahrzeugbedienungsanleitung
beschrieben montiert werden.
2. Die Abdeckkappen der Halterungen (1) am Dachkorb
jeweils mit dem beiliegenden Schlüssel aufschließen und
abnehmen. Hierzu die Abdeckkappe an dem Ende, an dem
sich das Schloss bendet, vorsichtig zur Seite ziehen (A).
Um sie aus ihrer Verankerung an den Metallhaken (C) der
Halterung zu lösen, die Abdeckkappe von den Metallhaken
weg schieben (B).

3. Den Dachkorb vorsichtig auf den Dachträgern platzieren.
Achtung: Der Dachkorb kann aufgrund seiner Größe
und seines Gewichts nicht von einer Person auf dem
Fahrzeug positioniert werden. Führen Sie diesen Schritt
mit mehreren Personen durch, um eine Beschädigung
des Dachkorbs und/oder des Fahrzeuges zu vermeiden.
Achten Sie auch darauf, dass der Autolack dabei nicht
anderweitig durch scharantige Gegenstände beschädigt
wird (z.B. Reißverschlüsse oder Nieten an der Kleidung).
1. Die Seitenabdeckungen (A) der Dachträger mit dem
dazugehörigen Schlüssel aufschließen und hochklappen.
Jeweils das Gummiprol (B) entnehmen und auf 530 mm
Länge zuschneiden. Anschließend das Gummiprol mittig,
mit gleich großem Abstand zu beiden Seiten des
Dachträgers, wiedereinsetzen. Die Seitenabdeckungen
herunterklappen und mit dem Schlüssel wieder schließen.

Dachkorb mit Scheinwerfern (4.1. - 4.2.)
Schritt 4.1. und 4.2. können übersprungen werden, sofern
Sie einen Dachkorb ohne Zusatzscheinwerfer nutzen.
4.1. Den Magnetstecker (A) in der dafür vorgesehenen
Dachsteckdose (B) einstecken, bis dieser einrastet.
Um das Licht einzuschalten, den Schalter (C)
im Innenraum am Dachhimmel betätigen.
Weitere Informationen dazu nden Sie in der
Fahrzeugbedienungsanleitung.

4.2. Die Scheinwerferabdeckungen (5) in die jeweilige
Aussparung der Scheinwerfer (4) drücken, bis sie
mit einem Click-Geräusch einrasten. Für die korrekte
Anordnung die Beschriung auf der Rückseite der
Blenden beachten („top“ = oben, L = links, R = rechts).
6. Je nach Fahrzeugmodell müssen die Halterungen ggf.
verschoben werden. Hierzu die Inbusschrauben(A)
an den Halterungen jeweils mit dembeiliegenden
Drehmomentschlüssel(B) lösen und die Halterungen
mittig aufdenDachträgern platzieren. Die Schrauben
mit dembeiliegenden Drehmomentschlüssel wieder fest
anziehen, bis ein Knackgeräusch ertönt.
Achtung: Ein lautes Knackgeräusch vermittelt das
erreichte Anzugsdrehmoment.
5. Den Dachkorb so ausrichten, dass seine Halterungen (1)
auf den Dachträgern auiegen. Bei der Ausrichtung ist zu
beachten, dass der Dachkorb sowohl in Längsrichtung-
als auch in Querrichtung des Fahrzeuges mittig
ausgerichtet ist. Als Orientierungshilfe für die mittige
Ausrichtung dient das Loch in der Mitteder Halterung (A).

7. Die beiliegenden Bügelschrauben (A) von unten in die
dafür vorgesehenen Löcher an den Halterungen einführen
und mit den ebenfalls beiliegenden Muttern festziehen.
Hierzu erneut den beiliegenden Drehmomentschlüssel mit
dem dazugehörigen Schraubadapter (B) verwenden undso
lange im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis das Knackgeräusch ertönt.
8. Die vier Abdeckkappen (A) wieder auf den jeweiligen
Halterungen (1) platzieren. Dazu die Abdeckkappen
zunächst auf die Metallhaken schieben (B) und dann
einklappen (C). Die Abdeckkappen mit dem beiliegenden
Schlüssel verschließen.

1. Die Nutensteine (A) in die dafür vorgesehenen
Aussparungen der Dachkorbprole (2) legen und an die
Stelle des Prols bewegen, an der das Zubehör jeweils
befestigt werden soll.
2. Zubehör auf dem Dachkorb platzieren. Nutenstein
jeweils ggf. nachjustieren für die korrekte Positionierung
unterhalb der Schraublöcher des Zubehörs.
Schrauben ansetzen und wie abgebildet mit dem
beiliegenden Drehmomentschlüssel (A) festziehen,
bis das Knackgeräusch ertönt.
Seitliche Befestigung je nach Zubehör
Die Gurthalter (3) sind bei der Auslieferung bereits
seitlich befestigt und können durch önen der zwei
gekennzeichneten Imbusschrauben (A) je nach Bedarf
verschoben werden.

Warning notes
Do not use or activate the rally lights on public roads!
On public roads, use the special rally light covers (5) provided to protect other road users.
Pay attention to the speed instructions and general information about the roof transport system in
the Owner’s Manual.
No or incorrect fastening
Έ An unsecured or incorrectly secured roof transport system can come o the vehicle while you are driving
and cause a serious accident.
ΈPosition the individual transportation modules as centrally as possible in relation to the feet.
ΈCheck the roof transport system and transportation modules before each journey and at regular intervals
on longer journeys to make sure they are seated correctly and securely.
ΈRegularly re-tighten all screws as necessary.
Dierent vehicle handling
ΈThe vehicle handling changes when the roof transport system is installed and loaded.
ΈAdapt your driving style.
ΈWhen the roof transport system is loaded, do not drive faster than 80 mph (130 km/h).
ΈWhen the roof transport system is tted but not loaded, do not drive faster than 110 mph (180 km/h).
Unsecured or incorrectly secured load
Έ An unsecured or incorrectly secured load can come o the roof transport system while you are driving
and cause a serious accident.
Έ Secure the load to prevent it from shiing while you drive.
ΈLoad the roof transport system and transportation module so that the load does not project beyond
the sides of the roof transport system. Never let the load exceed the width of the vehicle.
ΈDo not use bungee cords.
ΈKeep the load’s centre of gravity as low as possible relative to the roof transport system, and distribute
the load uniformly over the loading surface.
Maintenance instructions
ΈUse warm water and washing-up liquid for washing. Take care to ensure that water does not get into
the plugs of the rally light unit.
ΈDo not store the roof rack basket on the rally light unit.
ΈWe recommend storing the roof rack basket on one of its outer bars, with a suitable underlay beneath.

Preparation
Before installing the roof rack basket, rst install the roof
bars as described in the Owner’s Manual.
2. Open the caps on the holders (1) of the roof rack basket
with the supplied Allen key, and remove them. To do this,
carefully pull the end of the cap where the lock is located
sideways (A). To detach the cap from the metal hook (C)
on the bracket, slide it away from the hook (B).
3. Carefully position the roof rack basket on the roof bars.
Important: Due to its size and weight, the roof rack basket
cannot be positioned on the vehicle by one person alone.
Have more than one person perform this step, to prevent
damage to the roof rack basket and/or the vehicle.
Make sure that the vehicle’s paintwork is not damaged by
sharp objects (e.g. zips or rivets on clothing).
1. Unlock the side covers (A) of the roof bars using the
appropriate Allen key, and open them. Take out the rubber
strips (B) and cut them to a length of 530 mm.
Then re-insert the rubber strips centrally, at the same
distance from both sides of the roof bars. Close the side
covers and lock them with the Allen key.

Roof rack basket with rally lights (4.1. - 4.2.)
If you are using a roof rack basket without rally lights,
you can skip steps 4.1. and 4.2.
4.1. Insert the magnetic connector (A) in the roof socket (B)
until it locks into place. To switch on the light, press the
switch (C) in the headliner inside the vehicle. You can
nd further information on this in the Owner’s Manual.
4.2. Press the rally light covers (5) into the recesses in the
rally lights (4) until you hear them click into place.
Make sure the writing on the back of the covers is the
right way round (top, L = le, R = right).
6. The brackets may have to be moved, depending on
your vehicle model. To do this, undo the socket head
cap screws(A)
in the brackets with the supplied torque
wrench(B)
and position the brackets in the centre of the
roof bars. Tighten the screws again with the
supplied
torque wrench until you hear a click.
Important: A loud click lets you know that the correct
torque has been reached.
5. Position the roof rack basket so that its brackets (1) are in
contact with the roof bars. When positioning, make sure
that the roof rack basket is in the centre of the vehicle,
both longitudinally and laterally. The hole in the centre of
the bracket (A) is designed to help you do this.

7. Insert the supplied U-bolts (A) into the holes in the
brackets from below, and tighten with the supplied nuts.
To do this, again use the supplied torque wrench with the
appropriate screw adapter (B), and turn clockwise until
you hear a loud click.
8. Put the four caps (A) back on the brackets (1).
To do this, rst slide the caps onto the metal hooks (B),
then close them (C). Lock the caps with the supplied
Allen key.

1. Insert the T-nuts (A) in the grooves for the roof basket
strips (2) and slide into the position in the groove where
you are going to fasten the accessory.
2. Position the accessory on the roof rack basket. If necessary,
re-adjust the T-nut so it is correctly positioned below the
screw holes of the accessory. Insert the screws and tighten
with the supplied torque wrench (A) as shown until you
hear a loud click.
Side fastening of certain accessories
The strap holders (3) are already fastened to the sides on
delivery, and can be moved if necessary by undoing the two
socket head cap screws marked (A).

Consignes de prudence
Les projecteurs additionnels ne doivent pas être utilisés ou activés sur la voie publique!
Pour la protection des autres usagers, utilisez les couvre-projecteurs (5) prévus à cet eet pour circuler
sur la voie publique.
Respecter les remarques concernant la vitesse et les informations générales sur le système de transport
sur toit et les modules gurant dans le manuel du propriétaire du véhicule.
Arrimage absent ou incorrect
Έ Un système de transport sur toit non xé ou mal xé peut se désolidariser du véhicule et provoquer
de graves accidents.
Έ Placer les diérents modules de transport le plus possible au milieu des pieds-supports.
Έ Avant chaque déplacement et à intervalles réguliers au cours d’un long voyage, contrôler le positionnement
correct et stable du système et des modules de transport.
Έ Resserrer régulièrement toutes les vis de xation.
Modication du comportement routier du véhicule
ΈLe comportement routier du véhicule se modie lorsque le système de transport sur toit est monté ou chargé.
ΈAdaptez votre mode de conduite.
ΈIl est interdit de rouler à plus de 130km/h lorsque le système de transport est chargé.
ΈIl est interdit de rouler à plus de 180km/h lorsque le système de transport est monté sans être chargé.
Chargement non xé ou mal xé
Έ Un chargement non xé ou mal xé peut se désolidariser du système de transport sur toit et provoquer
de graves accidents.
ΈGarantir la charge contre tout déplacement éventuel durant le voyage.
Έ Charger le système de transport et le module de façon à ce que le chargement ne dépasse pas d’un côté
ou de l’autre du système de transport. La largeur du véhicule ne doit en aucun cas être dépassée.
ΈNe pas utiliser des tendeurs en caoutchouc.
ΈPlacer le centre de gravité de la charge le plus bas possible par rapport au système de transport sur toit et
répartir celle-ci uniformément sur toute la surface de chargement.
Remarques concernant la maintenance
Έ Pour le nettoyage, utiliser de l’eau chaude et du liquide vaisselle. Veiller ce faisant à ce que de l’eau ne
puisse pas pénétrer à l’intérieur du connecteur pour l’unité de projecteurs additionnels.
ΈNe pas entreposer la galerie de toit posée sur l’unité de projecteurs additionnels.
Έ Il est conseillé d’entreposer la galerie de toit posée sur l’un des prolés externes et d’utiliser un
support approprié.

Préparation
Avant le montage de la galerie de toit, il est nécessaire de
monter au préalable les supports de toit comme décrit dans
le manuel du propriétaire du véhicule.
2. Déverrouiller respectivement les caches des xations (1)
au niveau de la galerie de toit avec la clé fournie et les
retirer. Écarter pour ce faire le cache avec précaution au
niveau de l’extrémité où se trouve la serrure (A).
Pour extraire le cache de son clipsage au niveau des
crochets métalliques (C) de la xation, le faire coulisser (B)
hors des crochets métalliques.
Montage de la galerie de toit
3. Placer la galerie de toit avec précaution sur les supports
de toit.
Attention: en raison de sa taille et de son poids, la galerie
de toit ne peut pas être positionnée sur le véhicule par
une seule personne. Réalisez cette opération à plusieurs
personnes pour éviter d’endommager la galerie de toit
et/ou le véhicule. Attention également de ne pas
endommager la peinture du véhicule d’une autre manière
par des objets aux arêtes vives (par ex. fermetures à
glissières ou rivets présents sur les vêtements).
1. Déverrouiller les caches latéraux (A) des supports de toit
avec la clé correspondante et les rabattre.
Retirer respectivement le prolé caoutchouc (B) et le
raccourcir à la longueur de 530 mm. Remettre ensuite
le prolé caoutchouc en place au milieu en respectant
la même distance par rapport aux deux extrémités
du support de toit. Rabattre les caches latéraux et les
reverrouiller avec la clé.
