Retain these instructions for future reference. In addition, pass these

Intended use
This torque wrench is intended exclusively for the controlled tightening
of screws and nuts on cars, motorcycles, caravans, etc.. This torque
wrench is not intended for commercial or industrial applications.
This tool is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those
mentioned. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended
use will not be accepted. The user alone bears liability.

Safety instructions
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regard-
ing the handling of the torque wrench. Incorrect usage can lead
to personal injury and property damage. For safe handling of the
torque wrench pay heed to the following safety information:
■ This tool is not intended for use by individuals (including children)
with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or
deficiencies in experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive
from this person instruction in how the torque wrench is to be used.
■ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the torque wrench.
■ Do not use brute force on the torque wrench to tighten a nut/screw.
During tightening apply a steady and consistent pressure.
■ To prevent damage to the tool, stop applying pressure to the torque
wrench when the ”click” sound is heard. Bear in mind that the ”click”
sound is acoustically weaker with lower torque settings!
■ In the event of an overload, or improper handling of the torque
wrench, it must be recalibrated by a specialist firm, which will
incur costs.
■ The supplied accessories are matched to this torque wrench.
When using accessories that were not supplied with it, please
pay heed to the standardised design and to the correct shapes
and sizes. The use of non-standard accessories will void the
warranty itself and all warranty claims.

■ Do not use worn or damaged accessories (sockets or extension
pieces), as these may negatively influence the actuation accuracy.
■ Do not use hinged or ball joints, as these can lead to incorrect
settings of the torque.
■ When you use the tool for the first time, and after a long storage
period, it is important to operate the torque wrench a few times,
for the purpose of uniform lubrication of the mechanism, before
the actual torque is set.
■ Ensure that the torque is set at the lowest level (28 Nm) if you are
not using the torque wrench.
■ Do not turn the setting below the lowest torque marking (less than
28 Nm).
■ This tool is robust and suitable for domestic use, but it is also a
precision tool and should therefore be treated as such.
■ Before each use check the correct setting of the actuation value
and the correct seating of the accessory being used.
■ Store the torque wrench exclusively at room temperatures (15° -
25°C) so as not to falsify the actuation levels.
■ A calibration of the torque wrench should be performed only by
qualifi
ed personnel.

Commissioning and adjustment of the
torque
1. Loosen the locking screw (do not remove it) at the lower end
of the torque wrench by turning it anti-clockwise.
2. The precise setting of the torque value is made by using the ring
scale and the main scale . In the following example, this
process is explained for a torque of 120 Nm.
3. Turn the hand-grip until its upper edge reaches the kinked down-
wards marking of 112 Nm and the ”0” of the ring scale meets
the centre line of the main scale (see Figure A). With this step,
you have made the rough adjustment.
4. Turn the hand-grip further to the right, until the ”8” on the ring
scale meets the centre line of the main scale (see Figure B).
With this you have made the fine adjustment and the torque wrench
is now set to 120 Nm.
5. Turn the locking screw clockwise to lock the set torque value.
6. Use the switching lever to change the direction of rotation
(tighten or loosen) of the ratchet.
7. To attach and detach the extension piece/socket wrenches, press
the release button on the top of the torque wrench.

Cleaning and care
TAKE NOTE
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these
can damage the upper surfaces.
► Clean the torque wrench with a dry cloth.
► Store the torque wrench only in a dry place and in the supplied
storage box.
► Ensure that the torque is set at the lowest level if you are not
using or are storing the torque wrench.
► If it is new, or has been stored a long time, first activate the
torque wrench several times, at a low torque, so that the
internal lubrication of the mechanical parts can be restored.
► In the event of an overload, or improper handling of the
torque wrench, it must be recalibrated by a specialist firm.
Disposal
Do not dispose of the tool in your normal domestic waste. Arrange
for the tool, or parts of it, to be disposed of by a professional disposal
company or by your community disposal facility. Pay heed to the
currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact
your waste disposal centre. Dispose of packaging materials in an
environmentally responsible manner.

Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase.
The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously
examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a war-
ranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our Customer
Service Department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for
your goods be assured.
NOTICE
► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing
defects, but not for transport damage, wearing parts or for dam-
age to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commer-
cial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper
handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our
authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the
warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported
immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the
date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject
to charge.

Úvod
Gratulujeme!
Vaším nákupem jste si vybrali kvalitní výrobek. Ještě před montáží a
prvním uvedením do provozu se seznamte s výrobkem. Pro tento účel
si pozorně přečtěte následující návod k obsluze. Výrobek používejte
pouze předepsaným způsobem a v uvedených oblastech použití.
Tento návod dobře uschovejte. Při předávání výrobku třetím osobám
předávejte i tyto podklady.
Použití dle předpisů
Tento momentový klíč je určen pro kontrolované a řízené utažení
šroubů a matic na osobních motorových automobilech, motocyklech,
obytných vozech, atd.. Tento momentový klíč není určen pro použití
v živnostenských nebo průmyslových provozech. Jiné, než k tomu
určené použití,platí jako použití ne podle předpisů. Nároky jakého-
koliv druhu kvůli poškození, které vzniklo na základě neodborného
použití,jsou vyloučeny. Riziko nese sám v plném rozsahu uživatel.
Rozsah dodání a dopravní inspekce
Momentový klíč se standarně dodává s následujícími komponenty:

Bezpečnostní pokyny
V této kapitole obdržíte důležitá bezpečnostní upozornění ohledně
manipulace s momentovým klíčem.Neodborné použití může vést
k jeho poškození a zranění osob. Pro bezpečnou manipulaci s momen-
tovým klíčem dodržujte následující bezpečnostní pokyny:
■ Tento nástroj není určen k tomu, aby jej používaly osoby (včetně
dětí), které mají omezené fyzické, senzorické nebo duševní
schopnosti či nedostatek zkušeností a/nebo znalostí, ledaže by
jej používaly pod bezpečnostním dohledem zodpovědné osoby
nebo by od ní obdržely pokyny, jak momentový klíč používat.
■ Dohlížejte na děti, aby si nehráli s tímto momentovým klíčem.
■ K utáhnutí matice/šroubu netrhejte momentovým klíčem. Během
utažení pracujte stejnoměrným tlakem.
■ Jakmile je slyšet „cvakání“, tak momentový klíč více nepoužívejte,
aby nedošlo k poškození nástroje. Mějte na pamětí, že „cvakání“
je s nižším nastavením krouticího momentu akusticky slabší!
■ V případě přetížení nebo nesprávné manipulace s momentovým
klíčem, se musí tento nechat kalibrovat v odborné provozovně za
poplatek.
■ Dodané příslušenství je přizpůsobeno k tomuto momentovému klíči.
Při použití příslušenství, které nebylo zahrnuto do rozsahu dodávky,
je nutné dbát na standardizované provedení a na správný tvar
a správnou velikost. Použití nestandardního příslušenství vede
k zániku záruky a záručních nároků.

■ Nepoužívejte opotřebované nebo poškozené příslušenství
(prodloužení nebo nástrčné klíčové nasazení ), protože mohou
zfalšovat přesnost uvolnění.
■ Nepoužívejte závěsné nebo kulové klouby, protože tyto mohou
vést k chybnému nastavení krouticího momentu.
■ Při prvním použití a po dlouhé době skladování je bezpodmínečně
nutné, za účelem jednotného mazání mechanismu uvést momtentový
klíč několikrát do provozu, ještě předtím, než se nastaví vlastní
krouticí moment.
■ Ujistěte se, zda je krouticí moment nastaven na nejnižší stupeň
(28 Nm), pokud nechcete momentový klíč používat.
■ Nastavení neotáčejte pod nejspodnější značení krouticího momentu
(pod 28 Nm).
■ Tento nástroj je robustní a vhodný pro domácí použití, ale je také
precizní nástroj, a proto se sním musí také tak zacházet.
■ Před každým použitím zkontrolujte správné nastavení hodnoty
uvolnění a správné upevnění použitého nasazení.
■ Aby nedošlo ke zfalšování hodnot uvolnění, skladujte momentový
klíč výhradně při pokojové teplotě (15°-25°C).
■ Kalibraci momentového klíče smí provádět pouze kvalifikovaný
personál.

Uvedení do provozu a nastavení
krouticího momentu
1. Uvolněte stavěcí šroub (neodšroubovat) na spodním konci
momentového klíče otáčením proti směru hodinových ručiček.
2. Přesné nastavení hodnoty krouticího momentu proveďte na zákla-
dě obvodové stupnice a hlavní stupnice . V níže uvedeném
příkladu je tento proces vysvětlen na krouticím momentu 120 Nm.
3. Otáčejte rukojetí, dokud se její horní hranou nedosáhne označení
112 Nm, ohnuté směrem dolů a dokud se „0“ obvodové stupnice
nenachází uprostřed hlavní stupnice (viz obrázek A). Tímto
krokem jste provedli hrubé nastavení.
4. Otáčejte rukojetí dále do prava, dokud se „8“ obvodové stup-
nice nenachází uprostřed hlavní stupnice (viz obrázek B). Tím
jste nyní provedli jemné nastavení a momentový klíč je nastaven
na 120 Nm.
5. K aretování nastavené hodnoty krouticího momentu otáčejte stavě-
cím šroubem ve směru hodinových ručiček.
6. Používejte přepínací páku pro změnu směru otáčení (utažení
nebo uvolnění) ráčny.
7. K nasazení a pro uvolnění prodloužení/nástrčného klíčového nasa-
zení stiskněte tlačítko pro uvolnění na hlavici momentového klíče.
