●The projector is only intended for installation, operation and maintenance by qualified personnel. And the

●Don’t look straightly into the light sources especially for epileptics, otherwise eyes will be burned..
●Donotconnectthisdevice to any typeofdimmerpack.
●After lamp switchedon,the minimumdistancebetweentheprojectorand illuminated surface is 10m.
●lensand otheroptical partsshallbereplacedimmediatelyifthey havedeformedorbeendamaged,otherwise the
lightoutputwillbecompromised.
●Before operation, please confirm that all covers(housing) are on and screws tightened. It’s forbidden to use a
projectorwhilecovers(housing)are off.
●Keepthelamp cleanand donottouch itwithbarehands.
●While operatingit, wearprotective items.
●Any electricalconnectionmustbecarriedoutbyaqualifiedperson.
●Beforeinstallation,pleaseconfirm the voltage suppliedmatches whatisrequired forthe projector.
●Eachprojectormustbeproperlyearthedandinstalledasper relatedelectrical standards.
●Donotusepowercordwithitsinsulator damagedand connect thepowercordwithother cables.
●If the projector is not used or under cleaning,, please hold the plug and unplug it. Do not unplug it forcefully
or bypullingthepower cable.
●Allpowercordsmustconformto related safetyandregulations.
●Whilebeingoperated, theprojectorshouldnotbeunderrainsorinhumidity.
●Do not switch on and off the projector constantly in very short intervals, otherwise the light source’s and other
electricalparts’ life willbeshortened.

●There are safety cord holes at the bottom of the base of a projector. In view of safety, please run the safety
cord suppliedthroughthesafetycord holes forsafetysupport.
●Before any installation, maintenance and cleaning work, please ensure the projector is disconnected from
powermains.
●After running for 5 minutes, the temperature ofthe housing of the projector is 80℃.After stable operation,
itstemperatureis170℃.
●While thelamp isstrickenforthefirsttime,therewillbe smokeand strangesmell.It’s normal and does not
mean theprojectorhassome defects.
●Donotmount theprojectordirectlyoninflammablesurface.
●Donotproject thebeamstraightlyoncombustible itemsandtheminimumdistancebetweentheprojector
andilluminateditems is10m.
●Aprojector should be installed with good ventilation and the minimum distance between the projector and
wallsis50cm.Atthesame time,pleaseensurethefansand airinletsand outletsare workable.
2. INSTRUCTIONS
●CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE
If a projector can’t start. Please check if the fuse is blown up. If it does, replace it with a new fuse with same ratings. And the
projector has over-temperature protective device. Ifthe temperature is too high, the protective device will be triggered to shut the
projector off. When it happens, please check if the fans run normally or fan shield is blocked by dust. After the issue is solved,
restart theprojector.
The accumulationof oil, smoke and dust onthe lens will compromise the light output. Cleaning a projector is very necessary to
ensure a reliableuse ofit. Cooling fans need to be cleaned every15days. Internal lens, reflector and hotmirror need to be cleaned
periodicallytooptimizelight output.
Cleaning frequency is to bedecided byoperations and itsenvironment. Use soft cloth and normaldetergent for glassfor cleaning
work. It’s advised external optical system be cleaned every 20days and internal optical systems every 30/60days. Keep lens clean
and do nottouch opticalpartswith bare hands.
●Beforeany maintenance and cleaning, please ensuretheprojectisoffthe power.
●Onlyqualified personis allowedtodo maintenance.
●During maintenance and beforemaintenance,theprojectormust be offpower.
●To avoid internal damage, sun light or other light mustn’t penetrate into the projector via front lens
whetheritrunsor not.
●Donotusealcohol or otherorganicsolvent tocleanthe housing to avoid damage.
●Donotuseany solventwithchemicalelements to cleancolor filtersor hot mirror.
●LUBRICATION
To ensure smooth movement of gobos and zoom and focus lens, it’s advised rotators’ bearings and 2 sliding bars for zoom and
focuslensbelubricatedevery2 months.Highquality andhightemperaturelubricant/greaseisadvised..

Before moving a projector, Please lock Pan and Tilt. Before its operation, please unlock them. It’s forbidden to run a
projectorwithpowerwhileitislocked.

through 4 HOLES for safety
Take 2 clamps and the safety cord out fromthe package and mount 2 clampson the undersideof fixture with 2 retainersattached
to each clamp. Hang the fixture on the structure and fasten the screws attached to each clamp. (See the WARNING on the
underside of the base as shown above) To pass the SAFETY CORD throughthe HOLES for safety! Always ensure that the
projectoris firmlyanchored to avoidvibration and slippingwhilst functioning. Always ensurethatthe structurethat youare going
to mountthe projectorto issecureandstrongenoughtosupportthe weightofaXR1000 Framing.
WARNING:
●TheprojectorMUSTbeliftedorcarriedbytheHANDLESinsteadofclamps.
●.For safety the safety cord should afford 10 times the Projector’s weight.
●POWERCONNECTION
Connectthepower cordas follows:
L(live)=brown
E(earth)=yellow/green
N(neutral)=blue
Before power connection, please ensure the power supplied must match what the nameplate says. It is recommended that each
projectorbe connectedwithpowerseparatelyso thattheymaybeindividuallyswitched onand off.

●The earth wire(yellow/green) must be connected to the ground. And electrical connection must be in
accordance withthestandardsconcerned.
●Ifany questionsaboutthe electricalinstallation,donot continuebutconsultaqualifiedelectrician.
●DMXCONTROLCONNECTION:
Connection between controller and projector and between one projector and another must be made with a twin-screened cable, with
each wire having at least a 0.5mm in diameter. Connection to and from the projector is via cannon5 pin (which are included with the
projector) or5pinXLRplugsand sockets.The XLR'sareconnectedasshown inthe figureabove.
Note: care should be taken to ensure that none of the pins touch the metallic body of the plug or each other. XLR plugs and sockets
mustn’t be connected inanywayother thanmentioned inthe abovefigure.TheXR330BWS accepts digital control signalsinprotocol
DMX512 (1990).
Connect the controller’s DMX output to the first fixture’s DMX input, and connect the first fixture’s DMX output to the second
fixture’s DMX input and connect the rest fixtures in the same way. Eventually connect the last fixture’s DMX output to a DMX
terminatorasshown in thefigurebelow.

●DMXTERMINATOR
In the Controller mode, at the last fixture in the chain, the DMX output has to be connected with a DMX terminator. This prevents
electricalnoise fromdisturbingandcorruptingtheDMXcontrolsignals.
The DMX terminator is simply an XLR connector with a 120(ohm) resistor connected acrosspins 2 and 3, which is thenplugged
into the outputsocketonthelastprojectorinthe chain.Theconnectionsare illustratedbelow.

● ALIGNMENT/INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENTOFALAMP
Before installation/replacement/alignmentofa lamp,disconnect the unit from the power andletitcoolfirst.
LockTiltinthefigurebelowandopen thelamp cover after its4screws areloosened.
Afterremovalofthelampcover,turnthelampanti-clockwiseand takeitoutoftheceramic stand..
Insert a new lamp. Note: while placing a new lamp, do not touch the burner of the lamp with bare hands, otherwise the light output
willbecompromised.
Fastenthe 4fast-fitscrews afterthe lampcoverison
Important: The unit uses high voltage discharge lamp with external igniter( ). While using the lamp, please carefully read
“INSTRUCTIONS” packed with the lamp.
4 FAST-FIT SCREWS

Lock the tilt and loosen the 6 fast-fit screws on the upper cover ,After removing the cover, you will see the structures as the figure
below.
Before replacinga gobo on the fixed gobo wheel, use your finger to remove the spring tightening it and take the old oneout with due
care.At lastput the newintothe wheel.
To replace a gobo on the rotating gobo wheel: take the rotator from the wheel, take the gobo out from the rotator by removing the
tightening spring. Put the new gobo back to the rotator, then tighten it with the spring. Please ensure the spring is in the narrow
locationofthe rotator, which is the internal ring of it and flatten it. At last, pull up the spring strip using proper tool and putthe rotator
back tothewheelwiththe assistance byanotherhand.
Note:Do nottouchtheglassgobowithbare hand.Placecleanandsoftpaperorclothbetweenhand andglass gobos.
Tighten6 fast-fitscrewsafter the cover ison. Unlockthetilt.

5. SETUPANDCONFIGURATION
●FRONTPANELOPERATION
Theprojectorconfigurationcanbesetconvenientlyviapushbuttonsandcolortouchscreen.
To browse through or change the projector ’s settings, touch the white area of the touch screen or press OK button for more than
3s(Only powered by the battery, pressing the OK button) to unlock the screen , then press ►key to enter the projector ’s function
menus. Each main menu has its sub-menus. And each menu stands for special function. For the details, please see the following 6th
point ”Operation Menu”.:
1. At the page to set the fixture’s functions, press ◄,►,▲,▼keysortheirrespective icons toselect the functions desired.
2. While at 2nd,3rd and 4th level of menus, the◄key is for ESCAPE, but ►key won’t work, and OK key is used for ENTER.
Press OK key to save the changesor enter into the sub menus. Press ▲or ▼keys to change the numbers(minus or plus).

Shortcut keys: After the Function Menu is entered into, there are all options for the functions on the top of the screen. On the
rightthere are4 shortcut keyslike ←,→Lamp ControlandEnglish/Chinese.
●DMXSTARTADDRESS
Eachprojector mustbe givena DMXstart address so that the correct projector respondsto the correct control signals.This DMX start
address is the channel number from which the projector starts to “listen” to the digital control information being sent out from the
controller. The projector has 3DMX modes. There are standard mode ,short mode and extended mode. For example standard mode
has 39 channels, so set the No. 1 projector’s address 001, No. 2 projector’s address 040, No. 3 projector’s address 079,No. 4
projector’s address 118,andso on.
Switchon the Projector . Press OK key more than3 seconds to unlock panel, then press ►key to enter into the fixture’s operation
menus.
Select DMX Address icon and press OK key or touch the icon directly on the display and select DMX address at the 2nd level menu
fortheaddresssetting.
Press▲or ▼keysortouch<、>displayed fortheDMXaddressdesired.
PressOKkeytoconfirm.
Press the◄keyto gobacktothe upperlevelmenu.

●DMXWIRELESSCONTROL
Theprojectorhaswireless controlfunctionwithwirelessreceiver moduleandantennaforremote control.
Thesetupofitisbelow:
1. Press OK for more than 3s to unlock the control panel, then press ►key to enter into the operation menu and select
“Config Settings”.
2. Select “Wireless First” or “Wireless Only” from the menu of “Signal Select”.
Only after the projector is linked with a transmitter, can it receive wireless signal sent by the transmitter. If unlinking it,
Press “Enter” for the menu of Un-link Wireless underthe upper level menu of ConfigSettigns, thenthe fixtureis unlinked
withthe wirelesstransmitter.
●STAND-ALONEMODE
Operate the projector without connecting with a controller, enable the master mode through the operation panel, the
projector will run in Stand-Alone mode automatically.
DMX address can be set at any number within 512.
●MASTER/SLAVEMODE
Many projectors can run synchronously in the Master/Slave mode by linking them with each other. First,
connect the first fixture’s DMX output to the second fixture’s DMX input using XLR-XLR controlcable and then connect the second
fixture’s DMX output to the third fixture’s DMX input, and so on until all projector are connected in this way. Eventually connect the
last fixture’s DMX output to a DMX terminator. Set 1st projector as the master and others are Slaves.
StartAddressesofallSlavesare001;Operation mode of the Master can be set any mode for a Master’ and Slaves’ operation mode can
be setaccordingly.
AfterPoweredon,the group willrun inMaster/SlaveMode

Copythe .PRSfile forupgrading toUdiskand plugitintoUSB interface.Theupgradingfilenameoritsfilefolder canbe seen viathe
USB firmware upgrading interface under menu SERVICE. Select the desired PRS file and tap the upgrading menu, then the system
will show Please Waiting…, which means the file is being copied into the system. After that, the Bootloader interface will be entered
into and the countdown 10s appear. Within 10s, ifUPand DOWN keys arepressed at the same time, the system enters into firmware
upgrade interface. During this process, the power supply mustn’t be interrupted. If none key is pressed within 10s, the firmware
upgrade interface won’t be entered into.
