2011+ FORD SD Bumper Grille Installation Instructions
Please read all instructions before installation and to check to see that all parts are included.
Bumper Grille Installation
1. Remove bumper grille from packaging. Check to see if all parts from above table are included.
2. Remove factory license plate by unhooking the bottom hooks first. Then squeeze the top two clips
to release the license plate from the bumper.
3. From under the vehicle, remove the three plastic clips that hold the rubber flap to the bumper.
Ensure you do not break the plastic clips as you will need them to reinstall the flap when finished.
This will allow for easier installation of the bumper grille later. Fold the flap out of the way. See
Figure 1.

4. Using the provided alcohol wipe, wipe down all areas that the bumper grille adheres to the Bumper.
Refer to Figure 2.
5. Insert the grille into the bumper starting with the bottom of the grille first. Refer to Figure 3 for
installation

6. Rotate the grille upwards inserting the two tabs into the holes for the factory license plate. See
Figure 4.
7. Once the tabs are in the license plate holes, place the upper tabs behind the bumper while rolling
the grille into place. The final grille placement will look like Figure 5.
8. Remove the backing from the tape and from the backside of the grille press against the bumper grille
tabs to adhere them to the bumper. Apply firm pressure to all locations for 30 seconds.
9. Fold down tabs inserted into the license plate holes.
10. Reinstall license plate holder and reinsert the three plastic clips for the rubber flap.
11. Do not wash and avoid driving the vehicle for 12-24 hrs to allow the tape to fully adhere to the
bumper.
12. Continue onto wiring instructions if you purchased the lighted grille.
