DUCATI PANIGALE V4, V4S, SPECIALE 2018-
THIS KIT CONTAINS THE ITEMS PICTURED AND LABELLED BELOW.
DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL YOU ARE SURE ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT.
Please note that the way the kit is packed does not necessarily represent the way of mounting to the bike.
Please note that in cases where kits are packed with rubber washers holding the components onto the bolt –the
rubber washers should be thrown away!

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•Remove the 2 tank cover panel bolts from both sides of the bike arrowed in picture 1. Pull the panel up gently
until the locating pins release.
•Remove the bolt shown in picture 2 from the bottom of the nose.
•Remove the bolts arrowed in pictures 3 and 4 from underneath the lower fairings.
•Remove the radiator shroud bolt shown in picture 5 from both sides.
•Remove the rear fairing bolts from the right and left sides of the bike as shown in pictures 6 and 7 respectively.
•Remove the 3 lower to upper fairing bolts arrowed in picture 8 from both sides of the bike. The lower fairing can
be removed from both sides at this stage by gently separating it from the radiator shroud.
•Remove the bolts shown in pictures 9 and 10.
•Slide the black inner fairing panel (previously secured with the bolts in pictures 9 and 10) forwards until the
clips disengage. To release the clip at the front, pull the black cover marked with the red arrow in picture 10 in

the direction indicated by the arrow while simultaneously sliding the inner fairing panel forward. Repeat this for
the inner fairing panel on the other side.
•Remove the 2 bolts arrowed in picture 12 from both sides.
•Remove the bolt arrowed in picture 13 from both sides.
•Pull the main fairing away from the radiator shroud as shown in picture 14 and away from the nose as shown in
picture 15.
•Remove the main fairing, to do this pull gently on the edge of the fairing by the fuel tank to release the Velcro
and plastic locator indicated in picture 16. Repeat this for the main fairing panel on the other side.
•Remove the bolt shown in picture 18 from both sides.
•Remove the fairing infill panel, to do this pull gently on the front of the panel in the direction indicated in picture
19 to disengage the front locator. Next pull gently in the direction indicated in picture 20 to release the rear
locator. Application of a liquid lubricant will make this process easier. Repeat this for the fairing infill panel on
the other side.
•Remove the allen key stud shown in picture 21 from both sides.
•Remove the bolt shown in picture 22 from both sides. There is an 8mm bolt on the back of the bolt which will
need to be held in place with a spanner.
•Remove the 2 bolts shown in picture 23 on the radiator shroud from both sides.
•Cut the cable tie shown in picture 24 on the upper left side of the radiator shroud bracket.
•Using a flathead screwdriver lift the clip shown in picture 25 away from the radiator shroud. If the clip won’t
move cut the cable tie that connects it to the wire.
•Remove the 8mm nut arrowed in picture 26 from both sides, the metal sleeve that the nut tightens against can
also be removed at this stage.
•Remove the 3 bolts arrowed in picture 27 on the right side of the bike.
•Removing the radiator shroud may be easier with a second person and will require repetition of the following
processes until the radiator shroud is free to move.
•Apply liquid lubricant to the rubber grommets indicated with a white arrow in pictures 28 and 29.
•Pull down on the bottom radiator shroud bracket as shown by the red arrow in picture 28 until the rubber
grommet slides over the locating boss on the bottom of the lower radiator.
•Pull up on the top radiator shroud bracket as shown by the red arrow in picture 29 until the grommet slides over
the locating boss on the top of the upper radiator.
•The radiator shroud will now be able to slide forward along the threaded bosses that the nut was removed from
in picture 26.
•The radiator shroud should be placed over the front wheel as shown in picture 30, take precautions to ensure the
threaded bosses that secure the two radiators together do not damage the radiator cores (a piece of soft material
pressed over the end of each boss will suffice).
•Cut the included self-adhesive foam into 10mm strips and apply to the radiator guards as shown in pictures 32
and 33.
•Fit the included cable ties to the radiator guards as shown in pictures 31, 32 and 33. Do not overtighten them at
this stage and leave the lower radiator cable ties unfastened.
•Slide the boss of the lower radiator through the mount on the lower radiator guard as shown in picture 34 and
cable tie in position as shown in picture 35.
•Cable tie the upper radiator guard in position using the upper mounting bosses as shown in picture 36 and 37.
Make sure to hold the radiator guard flush against the core when tightening to ensure the cable ties are not
overtight.
•While holding the upper radiator guard in position as shown in picture 37 refit the radiator shroud as shown in
picture 38. To do this slide the threaded bosses through both radiator mounting brackets and then refit the upper
and lower grommets to the upper and lower locating bosses.

•Make sure the radiator shroud is correctly fitted on both sides and that all cable ties securing the radiator guards
are sufficiently tight.
•Replace the 2 cable ties that were cut to remove the wires at the upper left side of the radiator.
•Replace the fairings in the reverse of the order they were removed.

indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service
concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were purchased direct
from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of
R&G. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The
customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your
statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.

LE KIT CONTIENT
•1 x Protection radiateur (RAD0229)

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Enlever les 2 boulons de panneau de cache réservoir des 2 côtés de la moto, voir photo 1. Tirer le panneau
jusqu’à ce que les encoches se libèrent.
•Enlever le boulon indiqué sur la photo 2 au bas du nez.
•Enlever les boulons indiqués sur les photos 3 et 4 par le dessous des carénages inférieurs.
•Enlever le boulon du radiateur indiqué sur la photo 5 des 2 côtés
•Enlever les boulons de carénage arrière du côté droit et gauche de la moto, voir photos 6 et 7.
•Enlever les 3 boulons de carénage inférieurs, voir photo 8 des 2 côtés de la moto. Le carénage inférieur peut être
enlevé des 2 côtés à ce stade, en le séparant du radiateur.
•Enlever les boulons indiqués sur les photos 9 et 10.
•Faites glisser le panneau de carénage intérieur noir (précédemment fixé avec les boulons visibles sur les photos 9
et 10) vers l’avant jusqu’à ce que les clips se libèrent. Pour libérer le clip à l’avant, tirer le cache noir marqué
d’une flèche rouge sur la photo 10 dans la direction indiquée par la flèche tout en glissant le panneau de
carénage interne vers l'avant. Répéter cette opération pour le panneau de carénage interne de l’autre côté.
•Enlever les 2 boulons indiqué sur la photo 12 des 2 côtés.
•Enlever le boulon indiqué sur la photo 13 des 2 côtés
•Tirer le carénage principal du radiateur, voir photo 14 puis du nez, voir photo 15.
•Enlever le carénage principal, pour cela vous devez tirer sur le bord du carénage à hauteur du réservoir d’essence
pour libérer l’encoche indiquée sur la photo 16. Répéter cela pour le panneau de carénage principal situé de
l’autre côté.
•Enlever le boulon indiqué sur la photo 18 des 2 côtés.
•Enlever le panneau de carénage interne, pour cela tirer le panneau dans la direction indiquée sur la photo 19 pour
libérer l’encoche à l’avant. Ensuite, tirer dans la direction indiquée sur la photo 20 pour libérer l’encoche arrière.
Le procédé sera plus simple si vous appliquez un peu de lubrifiant. Répéter cela pour le panneau de carénage
interne de l’autre côté.
•Enlever la vis à la clé Allen, voir photo 21, des 2 côtés.
•Enlever le boulon indiqué sur la photo 22 des 2 côtés. Il y a un boulon 8mm sous le boulon, qui devra être tenu
en place à l’aide d’une clé à molette.
•Enlever les 2 boulons indiqués sur la photo 23 sur le radiateur, des 2 côtés.
•Couper le collier de serrage, voir photo 24 sur le côté supérieur gauche du support de radiateur.
•Utiliser un tournevis plat pour soulever le clip et l’enlever de la protection radiateur, voir photo 25. Si le clip ne
bouge pas, couper le collier de serrage qui le connecte au fil.
•Enlever l’écrou 8mm indiqué sur la photo 26 des 2 côtés, la manche en métal sur laquelle est serrée l’écrou peut
aussi être retirée à ce stade.
•Enlever les 3 boulons indiqués sur la photo 27 du côté droit de la moto.
•Enlever la protection radiateur sera plus facile avec l’aide d’une 2e personne, car cela requière la répétition des
process suivants jusqu’à ce que la protection s’enlève.

•Appliquer un peu de lubrifiant sur les rondelles en caoutchouc indiquées par une flèche sur les photos 28 et 29.
•Tirer vers le bas le support de la protection radiateur comme indiqué par la flèche rouge sur la photo 28 jusqu’à
ce que la rondelle en caoutchouc glisse sur le goujon de fixation au bas du radiateur inférieur.
•Tirer sur le haut du support de la protection radiateur, voir la flèche rouge sur la photo 29 jusqu’à ce que la
rondelle glisse sur le goujon de fixation situé sur le haut du radiateur supérieur.
•La protection de radiateur peut à présent glisser le long du filetage dont l’écrou a été enlevé, voir photo 26.
•La protection radiateur devrait se placer sur la roue avant, voir photo 30, veiller à ce que les filetages qui fixent
les 2 radiateurs ensemble n’endommagent pas les parties du radiateur (n morceau de matériau mou pressé sur
l'extrémité de chaque goujon suffira).
•Couper le bandeau de mousse fourni en pièces de 10mm, voir photos 32 and 33.
•Serrer les colliers de serrage fournis sur les protections radiateur, voir photos 31, 32 et 33. Ne pas trop serrer à ce
stade, et laisser les colliers de serrage du radiateur inférieur non serrés.
•Glisser le goujon du radiateur inférieur dans le support sur la protection de radiateur inférieur, voir photo 34 et
serrer en position à l’aide d’un collier de serrage, voir photo 35.
•Serrer la protection radiateur supérieur en position à l’aide d’un collier de serrage, à l’aide des goujons de
fixation supérieurs, voir photo 36 et 37. Assurez-vous de maintenir la protection du radiateur contre le noyau lors
du serrage afin de vous assurer que les attaches de câble ne soient pas trop serrées.
•Tout en tenant la protection radiateur supérieure en position indiqué sur la photo 37, remonter la protection
radiateur comme sur la photo 38. Pour cela, glisser les goujons filetés dans les 2 supports de fixation du radiateur
puis réinsérer les rondelles supérieures et inférieures sur les goujons supérieurs et inférieurs.
•Veiller à ce que la protection radiateur soit correctement montée des 2 côtés et que les colliers de serrage qui
fixent les protections radiateur sont suffisamment serrés.
•Remplacer les 2 colliers de serrage qui ont été coupés pour enlever les fils du côté gauche supérieur du radiateur.
•Remonter les carénages, en procédant à l’inverse de la façon dont ils ont été enlevés.

DIESER KIT BEINHALTET
•1 x Kühlerschutz (RAD0229)
•1 x Ölkühlerschutz (OCG0033)
•8 x 200mm Kabelbinder
•4 x 100mm selbstklebende Schaumstoffstreifen
MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Entfernen Sie die 2 Schrauben für die Tankabdeckung an beiden Seiten des Motorrades, die in Abbildung 1
markiert sind. Die Tankabdeckung vorsichtig anheben bis die Fixierstifte sich lösen.
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube unten an der vorderen Verkleidungsspitze, die in Abbildung 2 abgebildet ist.
•Entfernen Sie die Schrauben, die in den Abbildungen 3 und 4 markiert sind, von unten an den unteren
Verkleidungen.
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube für die Kühlerverkleidung an beiden Seiten –siehe Abbildung 5.
•Entfernen Sie die hinteren Verkleidungsschrauben von der rechten und linken Seite des Motorrades wie in
Abbildungen 6 bzw. Abbildung 7 abgebildet.
•Entfernen Sie die drei untere bis obere Verkleidungsschrauben, die in Abbildung 8 gekennzeichnet sind an
beiden Seiten des Motorrades. Die untere Verkleidung kann nun von beiden Seiten entfernt werden –diese
vorsichtig von der Kühlerverkleidung lösen.
•Entfernen Sie die Schrauben, die in Abbildungen 9 und 10 abgebildet sind.
•Schieben Sie das schwarze innere Verkleidungsteil (welches zuvor mit den Schrauben in Abbildungen 9 und 10
befestigt war) nach vorne bis die Clips sich lösen. Um den Clip vorne zu lösen, ziehen Sie die schwarze
Abdeckung, die mit dem roten Pfeil in Abbildung 10 markiert ist, in die vom Pfeil gezeichnete Richtung und
schieben Sie gleichzeitig das innere Verkleidungsteil nach vorne. Diesen Schritt mit dem inneren
Verkleidungsteil an der anderen Seite wiederholen.
•Entfernen Sie die 2 Schrauben, die in Abbildung 12 markiert sind, an beiden Seiten.
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die in Abbildung 13 markiert ist, an beiden Seiten.
•Die Hauptverkleidung von der Kühlerverkleidung wegziehen wie in Abbildung 14 abgebildet sowie von der
Verkleidungsspitze –siehe Abbildung 15.
•Entfernen Sie die Hauptverkleidung indem Sie sie vorsichtig an der Ecke der Verkleidung am Tank ziehen, um
den Klettverschluss und Kunststoffstift zu lösen –siehe Abbildung 16. Diesen Schritt an der anderen Seite des
Motorrades wiederholen.
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die in Abbildung 18 markiert ist, an beiden Seiten.
•Entfernen Sie das Verkleidungsteil, indem Sie das vorsichtig in die in Abbildung 19 angezeigte Richtung ziehen
und dabei den vorderen Stift aushaken. Danach in die in Abbildung 20 angezeigte Richtung ziehen, um den
hinteren Stift zu lösen. Die Verwendung vom flüssigen Schmiermittel vereinfacht diese zwei Schritte.
Wiederholen Sie die Schritte, um das Verkleidungsteil an der anderen Seite des Motorrades zu entfernen.
•Entfernen Sie die Inbusschraube, die in Abbildung 21 abgebildet ist, an beiden Seiten.
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die in Abbildung 22 abgebildet ist, an beiden Seiten. Hinter der Schraube ist eine
8mm Schraube, die mit einem Gabelschlüssel in Position gehalten werden muss.
•Entfernen Sie die 2 Schrauben, die in Abbildung 23 markiert sind, an beiden Seiten.
•Den Kabelbinder, der in Abbildung 24 abgebildet ist, oben an der linken Seite der Kühlerhalterung
durchschneiden.
•Mit einem flachen Schraubenzieher den Clip, der in Abbildung 25 abgebildet ist, von der Kühlerverkleidung
heben. Wenn der Clip sich nicht bewegen lässt, den Kabelbinder, der ihn mit dem Draht verbindet
durchschneiden.
•Entfernen Sie die 8mm Mutter, die in Abbildung 26 gekennzeichnet ist, an beiden Seiten. Die Metallhülse, die
die Mutter befestigt, kann zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch entfernt werden.

•Entfernen Sie die 3 Schrauben an der rechten Seite des Motorrades, die in Abbildung 27 markiert sind,
•Die Entfernung der Kühlerverkleidung geht einfacher mit der Hilfe einer zweiten Person. Die folgenden Schritte
müssen wiederholt werden, bis die Kühlerverkleidung frei beweglich ist.
•Etwas flüssiges Schmiermittel an den Gummitüllen, die in den Abbildungen 28 und 29 mit dem weißen Pfeil
markiert sind, anwenden.
•Die untere Kühlerverkleidungshalterung nach unten ziehen (mit dem roten Pfeil in Abbildung 28
gekennzeichnet) bis die Gummitülle über die Einstellnabe unten am unteren Kühler gleitet.
•Die obere Kühlerverkleidungshalterung nach oben ziehen (mit dem roten Pfeil in Abbildung 29 gekennzeichnet)
bis die Gummitülle über die Einstellnabe oben am oberen Kühler gleitet.
•Die Kühlerverkleidung kann nun vorwärts an den Gewindeeinsätzen entlang (die Mutter wurde von den
Gewindeeinsätzen in Abbildung 26 entfernt) geschoben werden.
•Die Kühlerverkleidung sollte über dem Vorderrad platziert werden, wie in Abbildung 30 abgebildet. Bitte darauf
achten, dass die Gewindeeinsätze, die beide Kühlerschutze zusammen befestigen, den jeweiligen Kühlerkern
nicht beschädigen (etwas weiches Material über dem Ende der Gewindeeinsätze sollte ausreichend Schutz
bieten).
•Schneiden Sie den selbstklebenden Schaumstoff vom Kit in 10 mm breite Streifen und kleben Sie diese an
beiden Kühlerschutzrahmen wie in den Abbildungen 32 und 33 abgebildet.
•Montieren Sie die mitgelieferten Kabelbinder an den Kühlerschutzrahmen wie in den Abbildungen 31, 32 und
33 abgebildet. Die Kabelbinder zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht zu stark anziehen und die Kabelbinder am unteren
Kühlerschutz noch nicht befestigen.
•Schieben Sie den Gewindeeinsatz des unteren Kühlers durch die Halterung an der unteren Kühlerschutzes wie in
Abbildung 34 abgebildet und mit den Kabelbindern in Position befestigen, wie in Abbildung 35 abgebildet.
•Den oberen Kühlerschutz an den oberen Montagegewindeeinsätzen mit Kabelbinder in Position befestigen –
siehe Abbildungen 36 und 37. Bitte darauf achten, dass die Den Kühlerschutz dicht am Kern halten, während der
Befestigung, um sicher zu stellen, dass die Kabelbinder nicht zu stark angezogen sind.
•Während Sie den oberen Kühlerschutz in Position halten (wie in Abbildung 37 abgebildet) montieren Sie die
Kühlerverkleidung wieder –siehe Abbildung 38. Schieben Sie die Gewindeeinsätze durch bei
Montagehalterungen für die Kühler, dann montieren Sie die oberen und unteren Gummitüllen wieder.
•Überprüfen Sie, dass die Kühlerverkleidung an beiden Seiten ordentlich montiert ist, und dass alle Kabelbinder
ausreichend festgezogen sind.
•Ersetzen Sie die 2 Kabelbinder, die abgeschnitten wurden, um die Drähte an der oberen linken Seite des
Kühlerschutzes zu entfernen.
•Montieren Sie die Verkleidungsteile wieder in umgekehrte Reihenfolge der vorherigen Entfernung.

Products have been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect.
Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be
limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.

Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary).
Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P
–at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your
statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.
