BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
Lees deze instructies en de oplaadinstructies uit het instructieboekje van uw
voertuig zorgvuldig door voordat u uw elektrische voertuig gaat opladen.
Let vooral op de informatie die is aangeduid met de volgende symbolen:
Opmerking: Dit betekent dat u hier speciaal op moet letten. Opmerkingen
bevatten nuttige suggesties.
Voorzichtig: Dit symbool betekent dat u voorzichtig moet zijn. U
kunt iets doen dat kan leiden tot beschadiging van de apparatuur.
Waarschuwing: Dit symbool betekent gevaar. U bevindt zich in
een situatie waarin lichamelijk letsel kan ontstaan. Houd rekening
met de gevaren van elektrische circuits en standaardhandelingen
voor het voorkomen van ongevallen voordat u gaat werken met
elektrische apparatuur.
Richtlijnen voor veiligheid
❖Gebruik deze Mobi Box alleen om elektrische voertuigen op te laden
die zijn uitgerust met een geaarde oplaadpoort. Raadpleeg het
instructieboekje van de auto om te bepalen of het voertuig is uitgerust
met een geaarde oplaadpoort.
❖Zorg ervoor dat de voedingskabel van de Mobi Box zo is geplaatst dat
niemand erop kan staan of erover kan struikelen en dat hij niet wordt
blootgesteld aan beschadiging of spanning.
❖Er zijn geen onderdelen geassembleerd die de gebruiker moet
onderhouden. Raadpleeg voor onderhoudsinformatie het gedeelte
over klantenservice in deze handleiding. Probeer de Mobi Box niet
zelf te repareren of te onderhouden.
❖Gebruik uw Mobi Box niet als het apparaat zelf, de voedingskabel of
de behuizing zichtbaar zijn beschadigd. Schakel de
hoofdstroomonderbreker (MCB) in de elektriciteitskast uit en neem
onmiddellijk contact op met de servicedienst. Raadpleeg het gedeelte
Klantenservice in de handleiding voor informatie over de
servicedienst in uw regio.

VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE
Waarschuwing: Bij gebruik van elektrische producten moet u altijd de
volgende basisvoorzorgsmaatregelen in acht nemen:
•Lees alle veiligheidswaarschuwingen en -instructies voordat u het
product gaat gebruikten. Het niet opvolgen van de waarschuwingen en
instructies kan leiden tot elektrische schokken, brand en/of ernstig letsel.
•Houd toezicht op dit apparaat als u het in de buurt van kinderen gebruikt.
•Steek geen vingers in de connector van het elektrische voertuig.
•Gebruik dit product niet als het flexibele netsnoer of de EV-kabel gerafeld
is, de isolatie ervan gebarsten is of andere tekenen van schade vertoont.
•Gebruik dit product niet als de behuizing of de EV-connector gebroken,
gebarsten of open is, of enige andere indicatie van schade vertoont.
•Als de meegeleverde steker niet in het stopcontact past, moet u de steker
niet aanpassen. Zorg ervoor dat een geaard stopcontact door een
erkende elektricien wordt geïnstalleerd.
•Het laadsnoer is voorzien van een aardingsgeleider en een geaarde
steker. Deze steker moet worden aangesloten op een goed geaard
stopcontact in overeenstemming met nationale en lokale elektrische
voorschriften.
Waarschuwing: Als u op enig moment denkt dat de apparatuur
onveilig is, schakel dan de hoofdstroomonderbreker (MCB) in uw
elektriciteitskast uit en neem onmiddellijk contact op met de
klantenservice voor onderhoud. Gebruik uw Mobi Box niet totdat
het probleem is geïdentificeerd en verholpen.
Voorzichtig: Kinderen mogen deze Mobi Box niet gebruiken. Laat
kinderen niet in de buurt van de Mobi Box spelen. Tijdens gebruik
van de Mobi Box is streng toezicht op kinderen noodzakelijk.
Voorzichtig: Open de behuizing niet.

OMSCHRIJVING
De Ratio Electric Mobi Box Mode Charge Cable bidet maximale veiligheid bij het
opladen van elektrische voertuigen (EV’s) vanaf het standaard Schuko- of CEE-
stopcontact.
Met Mobi Box kunt u uw EV opladen wanneer er geen (vrij) openbaar laadpunt in
de buurt is. De laadstroom kan worden aangepast aan de omstandigheden en
beschikbaarheid van stroom.
INSTALLATIE
Opmerking: Dit product moet geaard zijn. Als het slecht functioneert of uitvalt,
zorgt de aarding ervoor dat de elektrische stroom wordt afgevoerd
via een pad met de laagste weerstand om zo het risico op
elektrische schokken te verminderen. Dit product is uitgerust met
een snoer met een aardingsgeleider voor apparatuur en een
aardingsstekker.
De stekker moet in een 230VB wandcontactdoos of een blauwe
CEE-contactdoos 16A (afhankelijk van de Mobi Box versie)
worden gestoken die correct is geïnstalleerd en geaard in
overeenstemming tot alle lokale voorschriften.
Waarschuwing: Onjuiste aansluiting van de aardingsgeleider voor
apparatuur kan leiden tot een risico op elektrische schokken. Neem
contact op met een gekwalificeerde elektricien of
onderhoudsmonteur als u twijfelt of het product goed is geaard.
Opmerking: De laadkabel die wordt gebruikt om het voertuig op te laden, is
een krachtig elektrisch apparaat. Bij de CEE-versie van de Mobi
Box moet de blauwe CEE-steker stevig in een blauw CEE-
stopcontact passen dat in een goede staat verkeert. Bij de Schuko
versie van Mobi Box moet de 230V steker stevig in een 230V
wandcontactdoos passen dat in een goede staat verkeert.
Waarschuwing: Het gebruik van Mobi Box met een verkeerd of
beschadigd stopcontact kan brandwonden of brand veroorzaken.
Controleer regelmatig de 230V wandcontactdoos of de CEE-
contactdoos en het laadsnoer tijdens het opladen van de auto. Als
de contactdoos te warm aanvoelt, trek dan het laadsnoer uit het
stopcontact en laat het stopcontact vervangen door een
gekwalificeerd elektricien.
Waarschuwing: Verlengsnoeren, stekkerdozen met meerdere
stopcontacten, overspanningsbeveiliging of soortgelijke apparaten
mogen niet worden gebruikt in combinatie met de laadkabel.

WERKING
De Ratio Electric Mode 2 Charge Mobi Box bidet maximale zekerheid bij het
opladen van uw EV via een standaard Schuko- of CEE-contactdoos.
Steek de steker gewoon in het geaarde 230V of blauwe CEE-stopcontact.
Steek altijd eerst de steker in het stopcontact.
Nu gaat de Power LED branden. De 6A Ready/Charge LED begint te knipperen. U
kunt de laadstroom wijzigen door op de knop te drukken De gekozen laadstroom-
LED begint te knipperen.
Sluit de autosteker stevig aan de oplaadpoort van het voertuig. Na een paar
seconden stopt de Ready/Charge LED met knipperen en zal deze continu blijven
branden. Nu laadt de Mobi Box op met de geselecteerde stroom.
Tijdens het opladen is het niet meer mogelijk om de laadstroom te wijzigen.
Verwijder bij het loskoppelen van de laadkabel altijd eerst de autosteker en
vervolgens pas de steker uit het stopcontact
Opmerking: Bij Mobi Box met een Schuko steker heeft u de keuze tussen
6A, 10A en 13A.
Bij Mobi Box met een blauwe CEE-steker heeft u de keuze uit
6A, 10A en 16A.
FOUTMELDING
Bij de problemen met aarding licht de Fault LED rood op direct nadat de steker in
het stopcontact is gestoken. Om deze foutmelding te voorkomen, moet het
stopcontact altijd geaard zijn.
De Fault LED kan ook rood oplichten tijdens het opladen.
Verwijder in dit geval de autosteker van het voertuig en wacht een paar seconden.
Kies de laadstroom en sluit de autosteker nogmaals aan op de laadpoort van de
auto.
Als de Fault LED weer gaat branden, verwijder de autosteker en ook de steker uit
het stopcontact.
Als de Mobi Box de fout blijft weergeven tijdens het opladen, neem dan contact op
met Ratio Electric voor ondersteuning.

De Mobi Box heeft geen ander onderhoud nodig dan af en toe schoonmaken.
Waarschuwing: schakel uw Mobi Box uit voordat u hem gaat
schoonmaken.
Waarschuwing: wees voorzichtig bij het reinigen van de
connectoren en de behuizing om het risico op
elektrische schokken of schade aan de
apparatuur te beperken.
Maak de Mobi Box schoon met een zachte doek die licht bevochtigd is met een
mild schoonmaakmiddel. Gebruik nooit schuursponsjes, schuurpoeder of
ontvlambare oplosmiddelen zoals alcohol of benzeen.

FCC-INFORMATIE
Dit apparaat voldoet aan deel 15 van de FCC-regelgeving. Bediening is
onderhevig aan de volgende twee voorwaarden: (1) dit apparaat mag geen
schadelijke storing veroorzaken, en (2) dit apparaat moet bestand zijn tegen elke
storing die het ontvangt, inclusief storing die kan leiden tot ongewenst
functioneren.
Dit product is ontworpen om te beschermen tegen radiofrequentie-interferentie
(RFI). Er zijn echter enkele gevallen waarin krachtige radiosignalen of
nabijgelegen RF-producerende apparatuur (zoals digitale telefoons, RF-
communicatieapparatuur etc.) de werking kunnen beïnvloeden.
Als het vermoeden bestaat dat uw laadstation wordt gestoord, raden wij u aan de

uit tijdens het opladen.
Voorzichtig: wijzigingen of modificaties die zijn aangebracht
door een andere dan de geautoriseerde
servicedienst kunnen de FCC-goedkeuring
ongeldig maken.

GARANTIE-INFORMATIE
Ratio Electric B.V. garandeert dat dit product vrij is van materiaal-,
fabricage- en ontwerpfouten gedurende een periode van 3 jaar na de
aankoopdatum. Indien dit product gedurende deze garantieperiode een
materiaal-, fabricage- of ontwerpfout vertoont, zal Ratio Electric B.V. het
product naar eigen oordeel repareren of vervangen.
Reparatieonderdelen of vervangende producten kunnen nieuw of
gereviseerd zijn, naar het inzicht van Ratio Electric B.V.
Deze beperkte Carry-In-garantie omvat geen service bij het herstellen van
schade door onjuiste installatie, onjuiste verbindingen met randapparatuur,
externe elektrische storingen, ongevallen, rampen, misbruik, vandalisme,
ongeautoriseerde wijziging of reparatie, misbruik of aanpassingen aan het
product die niet schriftelijk zijn goedgekeurd door Ratio Electric B.V.
Elk bewijs van een poging om de Mobi Box te demonteren, maakt deze
garantie ongeldig.
Voor elke servicereparatie die buiten het bereik van deze beperkte garantie
valt, gelden de toepasselijke tarieven en voorwaarden.

owner’s handbook before charging your electrical vehicle.
Take special note of all information marked with the following sysmbols:

Caution: This symbol means be careful. You are capable of
doing something that might result in damage to equipment.
Warning: This symbol means danger. You are in a situation that
could cause bodily injury. Before you work on any electrical
equipment, be aware of the hazards involved with electrical
circuitry and standard practices for preventing accidents.
Safety Guidelines
❖Use this Charge Cable to charge electric vehicles equipped with a
conductive charge port only. See the vehicle’s owner’s handbook to
determine if the vehicle is equipped with a conductive charge port.
❖Make certain the Charge Cable’s supply cable is positioned so it will
not be stepped on, tipped over, or otherwise subjected to damage or
stress.
❖There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer to the Customer
Support section in this manual for service information. Do not attempt
to repair or service the Charge Cable yourself.
❖Do not operate your Charge Cable if it or the supply cable or housing
is visibly damaged. Contact your Service Representative for service
immediately. Refer to the Customer Support section in the manual for
information on the Service Representative in your area.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Warning: When using electric products, basic precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
•Read all the safety warnings and instructions before using the product.
Failure to follow the warnings and the instructions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
•This device should be supervised when used around children.
•Do not put fingers into the electric vehicle connector.
•Do not use this product if the flexible power cord or EV cable are frayed,
have broken insulation, or any other signs of damage.
•Do not use this product if the enclosure or the EV connector are broken,
cracked, open, or show any other indication of damage.
•If the plug provided does not fit the outlet, do not modify the plug, arrange
for grounded outlet to be installed by an electrician.
•The charge cord is provided with a grounding conductor and a grounding
plug. This plug must be plugged into a properly grounded outlet in
compliance with national and local electrical codes.
Warning: If, at time, you think the equipment is unsafe, shut off the
electricity at the circuit breaker and immediately contact Customer
Support for service. Do not use your charge Cable unit the problem
is identified and corrected.
Caution: Children should not be allowed to use this Charge Cable.
Do not allow children to play in or around the Charge Cable. Close
supervision of children is necessary when the Charge Cable is
used.
Caution: Do not open the enclosure.

DESCRIPTION
The Ratio Electric Mobi Box Mode Charge Cable offers maximum security when
charging your EV from standard Schuko or CEE outlet.
Mobi Box enable you to charge your EV when there is no (free) public charging
point around. The charging current can be adapted to the circumstances and
availability of power.
INSTALLATION
Note: This product must be grounded/protective earthed. If it should
malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least
resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock.
This product equipped with a cord having an equipment grounding
conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into
230V wall socket (Schuko version) or blue CEE-socket (CEE
version) that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with
all local codes and ordinances.
Warning: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding
conductor is able to result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a
qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether
the product is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided
with the product –if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet
installed by a qualified electrician.
Note: The charge cord used to charge the vehicle is a high-power
electrical device. During normal operation, the 230V plug of the
charge cord may feel warm. The 230V plug must fit tightly into an
230V wall socket that is in good condition.
Warning: Using the charge cord with a worn or damaged 230V or
blue CEE wall socket may cause burns or start a fire. Periodically,
check the wall plug and charge cord while the vehicle is charging. If
the wall plug feels hot, unplug the charge cord and have the wall
socket replaced by a qualified electrician. Replace the charge cord if
the wall plug or cord are damaged. Do not use a wall socket that is
worn or damaged.
Warning: Extension Cords, Multi Outlet Power Strips, Surge
Protectors or similar devices should not be used with the charge
cord. Use of an Extension Cords, Multi Outlet Power Strips, Surge
Protectors or similar devices may increase the risk of electric shock
or other hazards.

OPERATION
The Ratio Electric Mode 2 Charge Cable offers maximum security when charging
your EV from a standard Schuko or CEE outlet.
Just plug the wall plug into the earth-grounded 230V wall socket.
Always plug in the wall socket first.
Now the Power LED will light up. The 6A Ready/Charge LED will start blinking.
You can change the charge current by pressing the button. The chosen charge
current LED starts blinking.
Plug the vehicle connector firmly into the vehicle’s charge port. After a few
seconds Ready/Charge LED stops blinking and will be lighting continuously. Now
the cable is charging at the selected current.
During the charging it’s not possible to change the charge current anymore.
When disconnecting the charge cable, always remove the vehicle connector first
then remove the plug from the wall socket.
Note: For charge cables with a Schuko wall plug you can choose between
6A, 10A and 13A.
For charge cables with a CEE wall plug you can choose between
6A, 10A and 16A.
ERROR NOTIFICATION
In case of earth failure, the Fault LED lights up red immediately after the wall plug
is plugged into the wall socket. To avoid the error the wall socket needs always to
be earth grounded.
The Fault LED can also light up red during the charging.
In this case please remove the vehicle connector from the vehicle and wait a few
seconds. Choose the charge current and plug the vehicle connector once more
into the charge port of the car.
If the Fault LED lights up again remove the vehicle connector and the wall plug.
If the Mobi Box continues to display the error during the charging, please contact
Ratio Electric for support.

MAINTENANCE
The Mobi Box requires no maintenance other than occasional cleaning.
Warning: switch off your Mobi Box before cleaning the
unit.
Warning: to reduce the risk of electrical shock or
equipment damage, be cautious while cleaning
the connectors and case.
Clean the Mobi Box using a soft cloth lightly moistened with mild detergent
solution. Never use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder, or flammable
solvents such as alcohol or benzene.

FCC INFORMATION
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that
may cause undesired operation.
This product has been designed to protect against Ratio Frequency Interference
(RFI). However, there are some instances where high powered radio signals or
nearby RF-producing equipment (such as digital phones, RF communications
equipment, etc.) could affect operation.
If interference to your charge station is suspected, we suggest the following steps
be taken before consulting your Service Representative for assistance:
1. Reorient or relocate nearby electrical appliances or equipment during
charging.
2. Turn off nearby electrical appliances or equipment during charging.
Caution: changes or modifications to this product by other
than an authorized service facility may void FCC
compliance.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Ratio Electric B.V. warrants this product to be free from defects in material,
manufacture and design for a period of 3 years after the date of purchase.
If this product is defective in materials, manufacture or design during this
warranty period, Ratio Electric B.V. will, at its option, repair or replace the
product.
Repair parts and/or replacement products may be either new or
reconditioned at Ratio Electric B.V. discretion.
This limited Carry-In Warranty does not include service to repair damage
from improper installation, improper connections with peripherals, external
electrical fault, accident, disaster, misuse, vandalism, unauthorized
alteration or repair, abuse or modifications to the product not approved in
writing by Ratio Electric B.V.
Any evidence of an attempt to disassemble the Mobi Box will void this
warranty.
Any service repair outside the scope of this limited warranty shall be at
applicable rates and terms then in effect.

Elektrofahrzeugen, die mit einem leitfähigen Ladeanschluss
ausgestattet sind. Sehen Sie im Benutzerhandbuch Ihres Fahrzeugs
nach, ob das Fahrzeug mit einem leitfähigen Ladeanschluss
ausgestattet ist.
❖Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Ladekabel der Mobi Box so positioniert
ist, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann, oder es
anderweitig Beschädigung oder Zuglast ausgesetzt ist.
❖Die Mobi Box enthält keine vom Benutzer zu wartenden Teilen.

oder zu warten.
❖Benutzen Sie Ihre Mobi Box nicht, wenn das Ladekabel oder das
Gehäuse sichtbar beschädigt sind. Schalten Sie den
Leitungsschutzschalter im Schaltkasten aus und wenden Sie sich
