BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
Lees deze instructies en de oplaadinstructies uit het instructieboekje van uw
voertuig zorgvuldig door voordat u uw elektrische voertuig gaat opladen.
Let vooral op de informatie die is aangeduid met de volgende symbolen:
Opmerking: Dit betekent dat u hier speciaal op moet letten. Opmerkingen
bevatten nuttige suggesties.
Voorzichtig: Dit symbool betekent dat u voorzichtig moet zijn. U
kunt iets doen dat kan leiden tot beschadiging van de apparatuur.
Waarschuwing: Dit symbool betekent gevaar. U bevindt zich in
een situatie waarin lichamelijk letsel kan ontstaan. Houd rekening
met de gevaren van elektrische circuits en standaardhandelingen
voor het voorkomen van ongevallen voordat u gaat werken met
elektrische apparatuur.
Richtlijnen voor veiligheid
❖Gebruik deze Power Box alleen om elektrische voertuigen op te laden
die zijn uitgerust met een geaarde oplaadpoort. Raadpleeg het
instructieboekje van de auto om te bepalen of het voertuig is uitgerust
met een geaarde oplaadpoort.
❖Zorg ervoor dat de voedingskabel van de Power Box zo is geplaatst
dat niemand erop kan staan of erover kan struikelen en dat hij niet
wordt blootgesteld aan beschadiging of spanning.
❖Er zijn geen onderdelen geassembleerd die de gebruiker moet
onderhouden. Raadpleeg voor onderhoudsinformatie het gedeelte
over klantenservice in deze handleiding. Probeer de Power Box niet
zelf te repareren of te onderhouden.
❖Gebruik uw Power Box niet als het apparaat zelf, de voedingskabel of
de behuizing zichtbaar zijn beschadigd. Schakel de
hoofdstroomonderbreker (MCB) in de elektriciteitskast uit en neem
onmiddellijk contact op met de servicedienst. Raadpleeg het gedeelte
Klantenservice in de handleiding voor informatie over de
servicedienst in uw regio.

VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE
Waarschuwing: Bij gebruik van elektrische producten moet u altijd de
volgende basisvoorzorgsmaatregelen in acht nemen:
•Lees alle veiligheidswaarschuwingen en -instructies voordat u het
product gaat gebruikten. Het niet opvolgen van de waarschuwingen en
instructies kan leiden tot elektrische schokken, brand en/of ernstig letsel.
•Houd toezicht op dit apparaat als u het in de buurt van kinderen gebruikt.
•Steek geen vingers in de connector van het elektrische voertuig.
•Gebruik dit product niet als het flexibele netsnoer of de EV-kabel gerafeld
is, de isolatie ervan gebarsten is of andere tekenen van schade vertoont.
•Gebruik dit product niet als de behuizing of de EV-connector gebroken,
gebarsten of open is, of enige andere indicatie van schade vertoont.
Waarschuwing: Als u op enig moment denkt dat de apparatuur
onveilig is, schakel dan de hoofdstroomonderbreker (MCB) in uw
elektriciteitskast uit en neem onmiddellijk contact op met de
klantenservice voor onderhoud. Gebruik uw Power Box niet totdat
het probleem is geïdentificeerd en verholpen.
Voorzichtig: Kinderen mogen deze Power Box niet gebruiken.
Laat kinderen niet in de buurt van de Power Box spelen. Tijdens
gebruik van de Power Box is streng toezicht op kinderen
noodzakelijk.
Voorzichtig: Open de behuizing niet.

OMSCHRIJVING
Dit draagbare laadstation wordt gebruikt voor het opladen van elektrische
voertuigen (EV’s) vanaf een zogenaamd “CEE” stopcontact (IEC 60309-2).
De Power Box kan als een draagbaar laadstation worden gebruikt of in een
daarvoor geschikte houder aan de muur worden opgehangen.
De nationale voorschriften en voorwaarden moeten in acht worden genomen bij
de aansluiting en bediening van dit laadstation (IEC 62752).
INSTALLATIE
Opmerking: Dit product moet geaard zijn. Als het slecht functioneert of uitvalt,
zorgt de aarding ervoor dat de elektrische stroom wordt afgevoerd
via een pad met de laagste weerstand om zo het risico op
elektrische schokken te verminderen. Dit product is uitgerust met
een snoer met een aardingsgeleider voor apparatuur en een
aardingsstekker.
De stekker moet in een rode CEE-contactdoos 16A of 32A
(afhankelijk van de Power Box versie) worden gestoken die
correct is geïnstalleerd en geaard in overeenstemming tot alle
lokale voorschriften.
Waarschuwing: Onjuiste aansluiting van de aardingsgeleider voor
apparatuur kan leiden tot een risico op elektrische schokken. Neem
contact op met een gekwalificeerde elektricien of
onderhoudsmonteur als u twijfelt of het product goed is geaard.
Opmerking: De laadkabel die wordt gebruikt om het voertuig op te laden, is
een krachtig elektrisch apparaat. De rode CEE-stekker moet
stevig in een rood CEE-stopcontact passen dat in een goede staat
verkeert.
Waarschuwing: Het gebruik van Power Box met een verkeerd of
beschadigd stopcontact kan brandwonden of brand veroorzaken.
Controleer regelmatig de CEE-contactdoos en het laadsnoer tijdens
het opladen van de auto. Als de contactdoos te warm aanvoelt, trek
dan het laadsnoer uit het stopcontact en laat het stopcontact
vervangen door een gekwalificeerd elektricien.
Waarschuwing: Verlengsnoeren, stekkerdozen met meerdere
stopcontacten, overspanningsbeveiliging of soortgelijke apparaten
mogen niet worden gebruikt in combinatie met de laadkabel.

WERKING
De Ratio Electric Mode 2 Power Box oplaadkabel biedt de maximale veiligheid
wanneer u uw elektrische auto via een standaard 3-fase rood CEE-stopcontact
wilt opladen.
U moet alleen de steker in het rode CEE 16A of 32A stopcontact (afhankelijk van
de Power Box versie) insteken.
Let op! Sluit altijd eerst de Power Box aan het stopcontact. Nu gaat de Power LED
branden.

De fabrieksinstelling is FIXED 16/32A. Als u de instellingen wilt wijzigen, gaat u
naar het setup-menu (zie pagina 7 SETUP-MENU).

CHARGE
Steek Type 2 connector in de auto. Met de linker- of rechterpijltjestoets kunt u
altijd naar het volgende scherm gaan voor de oplaadinformatie.
Het onderstaande menu is te bereiken met de pijltjestoets vanaf het READY TO
CHARGE-scherm, maar ook vanaf het CHARGING-scherm.

Door op de middelste toets te drukken, kunt u de meterstanden van de laatste 5
sessies bekijken.

In het geval van een fout ziet u het foutscherm met de
foutcode. Als er meerdere fouten optreden, wisselen
de codes elkaar af.
Bij een foutmelding kunt u contact opnemen met Ratio
Electric voor ondersteuning.
Om terug te keren naar het setup-menu drukt u 5
seconden op de middelste toets.

Om het setup-menu te openen, drukt u op:

Na het opstarten is de lader altijd klaar om te laden met de vorige instellingen.
Tijdens het opladen heeft u geen toegang tot de setup.

Hier kunt u de minimale laadstroom instellen, die uw
auto vereist. Normaal is dat 6A maar sommige EV’s
hebben minimum 10A nodig.
U kunt waarden kiezen tussen 6A en 15A/31A in
stappen van 1A.
Gebruik de linker- of rechterpijltjestoets om uw keuze
te maken.
Druk op de middelste toets om te bevestigen.
3 SETUP I-MAX

Hier kunt u de maximale laadstroom voor de EV
instellen. U kunt waarden kiezen tussen 7A en 16A/32A
in stappen van 1A.
Gebruik de linker- of rechterpijltjestoets om uw keuze

Bevestig met de middelste toets om naar het geheugenscherm voor fouten te
gaan. U kunt max. 10 foutcodes zien.
Met de linker- en rechterpijltjestoetsen kunt u naar de laatste code scrollen.
Om terug te keren naar het setup-menu drukt u 5 seconden op de middelste toets.
Bij een foutmelding kunt u contact opnemen met Ratio Electric voor
ondersteuning.

ONDERHOUD
De Power Box heeft geen ander onderhoud nodig dan af en toe schoonmaken.
Waarschuwing: schakel uw Power Box uit voordat u hem gaat
schoonmaken.
Waarschuwing: wees voorzichtig bij het reinigen van de
connectoren en de behuizing om het risico op
elektrische schokken of schade aan de
apparatuur te beperken.
Maak de Power Box schoon met een zachte doek die licht bevochtigd is met een
mild schoonmaakmiddel. Gebruik nooit schuursponsjes, schuurpoeder of
ontvlambare oplosmiddelen zoals alcohol of benzeen.
FCC-INFORMATIE
Dit apparaat voldoet aan deel 15 van de FCC-regelgeving. Bediening is
onderhevig aan de volgende twee voorwaarden: (1) dit apparaat mag geen
schadelijke storing veroorzaken, en (2) dit apparaat moet bestand zijn tegen elke
storing die het ontvangt, inclusief storing die kan leiden tot ongewenst
functioneren.
Dit product is ontworpen om te beschermen tegen radiofrequentie-interferentie
(RFI). Er zijn echter enkele gevallen waarin krachtige radiosignalen of
nabijgelegen RF-producerende apparatuur (zoals digitale telefoons, RF-
communicatieapparatuur etc.) de werking kunnen beïnvloeden.
Als het vermoeden bestaat dat uw laadstation wordt gestoord, raden wij u aan de
volgende maatregelen te nemen voordat u de hulp van de servicedienst inroept:
1. Heroriënteer of verplaats de elektrische apparaten en uitrusting die zich
in de buurt bevinden.
2. Schakel elektrische apparaten of uitrusting die zich in de buurt bevinden
uit tijdens het opladen.
Voorzichtig: wijzigingen of modificaties die zijn aangebracht
door een andere dan de geautoriseerde
servicedienst kunnen de FCC-goedkeuring
ongeldig maken.

GARANTIE-INFORMATIE
Ratio Electric B.V. garandeert dat dit product vrij is van materiaal-,
fabricage- en ontwerpfouten gedurende een periode van 3 jaar na de
aankoopdatum. Indien dit product gedurende deze garantieperiode een
materiaal-, fabricage- of ontwerpfout vertoont, zal Ratio Electric B.V. het
product naar eigen oordeel repareren of vervangen.
Reparatieonderdelen of vervangende producten kunnen nieuw of
gereviseerd zijn, naar het inzicht van Ratio Electric B.V.
Deze beperkte Carry-In-garantie omvat geen service bij het herstellen van
schade door onjuiste installatie, onjuiste verbindingen met randapparatuur,
externe elektrische storingen, ongevallen, rampen, misbruik, vandalisme,
ongeautoriseerde wijziging of reparatie, misbruik of aanpassingen aan het
product die niet schriftelijk zijn goedgekeurd door Ratio Electric B.V.
Elk bewijs van een poging om de Power Box te demonteren, maakt deze
garantie ongeldig.
Voor elke servicereparatie die buiten het bereik van deze beperkte garantie
valt, gelden de toepasselijke tarieven en voorwaarden.

Safety Guidelines
❖Use this Power Box to charge electric vehicles equipped with a
conductive charge port only.See the vehicle’s owner’s handbook to
determinate if the vehicle is equipped with a conductive charge port.
❖Make certain the Home Box’s Plus supply cable is positioned so it will
not be stepped on, tipped over, or otherwise subjected to damage or
stress.
❖There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer to the Customer
Support section in this manual for service information. Do not attempt
to repair or service the Power Box yourself.
❖Do not operate your Power Box if it or the supply cable or housing is
visibly damaged. Switch off the MCB in the electrical cabinet and
contact your Service Representative for service immediately. Refer to
the Customer Support section in the manual for information on the
Service Representative in your area.

off the MCB in your electrical cabinet and immediately contact
Customer Support for service. Do not use your Power Box until the

Caution: Children should not be allowed to use this Power Box.

supervision of children is when the Power Box is used.

DESCRIPTION
This portable charging station is used for charging of electrical vehicles (EV’s)
from a standard socket-outlet (IEC 61851-1, mode 2).
It can be used portable or mounted on a wall.
The respective national regulations and conditions must be observed with regard
to the connection and operation of this charging station (IEC 62752).
INSTALLATION
Note: This product must be grounded/protective earthed. It if should
malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least
resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock.
This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment
grounding conductor and a grounding plug.
The plug must be plugged into a red CEE wall socket 16A/32A
that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local
codes and ordinances.
Warning: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding
conductor is able to result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a
qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to whether
the product is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided
with the product –if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet
installed by a qualified electrician.
Note: The charge cord used to charge the vehicle is a high-powered
electrical device. The red CEE plug must fit tightly into a red CEE
wall socket that is in good condition.
Warning: Using the charge cord with a wrong or damaged wall
socket may cause burns or start a fire.Periodically, check the CEE
wall plug and charge cord while the vehicle is charging. If the wall
plug feels hot, unplug the charge cord and have the wall socket
replaced by a qualified electrician. Replace the charge cord if the
wall plug or cord are damaged. Do not use a wall socket that is
wrong or damaged.
Warning: Extension Cords, Multi Outlet Power Strips, Surge
Protectors or similar devices should not be used with the charge
cord. Use of Extension Cords, Multi Outlet Power Strips, Surge
Protectors or similar devices may increase the risk of electrical shock
or other hazards.

OPERATION
The Ratio Electric Mode 2 Charge Cable offers maximum security when charging
your EV from a standard 3-phase red CEE outlet.
Just plug the wall plug into the red CEE 16A-32A wall socket. Always plug in the
wall socket first.
Now the Power LED will light up.

The factory preset is at FIXED 16A/32A. If you want to change the settings enter
the setup menu (see page 19 SETUP MENU)

Plug the type 2 connector into the car. For charging information, you can reach the
next screen. You can reach the next screen with the left or right arrow button.
The menu below can be reached with the arrow button from a READY TO
CHARGE screen but also from CHARGING screen.

2 SETUP I-MIN
SETUP <- I-MIN ->
Here you can set the minimum charging current, that
your car requires. Normally 6A but some EV’s require
10A minimum.
You can choose between 6A and 15A/31A with steps
of 1A.
To make your choice please use the left or right arrow
button. To confirm press the middle button.
