1. Einleitung
Es freut uns, dass Sie sich zum Kauf des
Power-Pillo entschieden haben.
Der Power-Pillo ist ein robustes Gerät mit
hoher Schlagzahl. Durch die regulierbarere
Leistung kann er exakt nach Ihren Bedürf-
nissen eingestellt werden.
Bitte lesen Sie die folgende
Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam
durch und beachte Sie die darin
enthaltenen Hinweise, um eine lange und
problemlose Funktion zu gewährleisten.
Die Betriebsanleitung muss ständig am
Arbeitsplatz verfügbar sein.
2. Anwendungsbereich
Der Power-Pillo ist ein pneumatisch
betriebener Meißel zum Ausbetten von
Kunststoffprothesen oder Gußobjekten in
zahntechnischen Betrieben.
Durch die Plasma - Beschichtung des
Kolbens ist ein Ölvernebler nicht mehr
erforderlich.
Die Vorschaltung eines Filterdruckreglers
(Art. Nr. 2929-0000) wird empfohlen.
2.1 Umgebungsbedingungen
(nach IEC 60664-1)
Der Power-Pillo darf nur betrieben werden:
• in Innenräumen,
• bis zu einer Höhe von 2.000 m über NN,
• bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von 5 -
40ºC [41 - 104ºF],
• bei einer maximalen relativen Feuchte
von 80% bei 31ºC [87,8ºF], linear abneh-
mend bis zu 50% relativer Feuchte bei
40ºC [104ºF],
• bei Verschmutzungsgrad 2.

3.2 Gefahrenhinweise
• Beim Bearbeiten von spröden Materia-
lien können gesundheitsgefährdende
Stäube entstehen. Achten Sie unbe-
dingt auf geeignete persönliche
Schutzausrüstung und Belüftung /
Absaugung beim Arbeiten.
• Schutzbrille tragen. Beim Bearbeiten
von spröden Materialien besteht
Splittergefahr.

• Gehörschutz tragen. Der Geräuschpe-
gel des Gerätes beträgt typischer-
weise 78 dB(A). Der Geräuschpegel
kann beim Arbeiten 85 dB(A) über-
schreiten.
• Stets vom Körper weg arbeiten.
Geschliffene Meißel können scharf
sein. Beim Abrutschen des Meißels
vom Werkstück besteht Verletzungs-
gefahr.
• Werkzeugwechsel nur nach Unterbre-
chen der Druckluftversorgung durch-
führen. Bei unvermitteltem Anlauf des
Power-Pillo besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
• Vor Inbetriebnahme die Angaben des
Typenschildes mit den Anschlusswer-
ten für die Druckluft vergleichen.
• Vor Wartungsarbeiten Gerät vom
Druckluftnetz trennen.
• Anschlussschläuche regelmäßig auf
Beschädigungen (z.B. Knicke, Risse,
Porosität) überprüfen.
• Geräte mit schadhaften Anschluss-
schläuchen oder anderen Defekten
dürfen nicht mehr betrieben werden.
• Das Risiko von mechanischen
Schwingungen wird bestimmt durch
die Dauer und die Intensität der
Schwingungen. Max. Vibration beträgt
typischerweise 1,93 m/s².
3.3 Haftungsausschluss
Renfert GmbH lehnt jegliche Schadenser-
satz- und Gewährleistungsansprüche ab
wenn:
• das Produkt für andere, als die in der
Bedienungsanleitung genannten,
Zwecke eingesetzt wird.
• das Produkt in irgendeiner Art und
Weise verändert wird - außer den in
der Bedienungsanleitung beschriebe-
nen Veränderungen.
• das Produkt von nicht autorisierten
Stellen repariert oder nicht mit Original
Renfert Ersatzteilen eingesetzt wird.
• das Produkt trotz erkennbarer
Sicherheitsmängel weiter verwendet
wird.
4. Inbetriebnahme / Bedienung
Maximalen Anschlussdruck 6 bar
nicht überschreiten !
4.1 Anschließen des Gerätes
• Gewünschten Meißel (1) in Werkzeug-
aufnahme stecken. Der Meißel muss
spürbar in der Werkzeugaufnahme
einrasten.
• Stellring (2) im Gegenuhrzeigersinn bis
Endstellung drehen.
• Anschlussdruck der Druckluftversorgung
am Druckregler auf 4 bis 6 bar reduzie-
ren.
• Mit Druckluftschlauch (3) Verbindung
zum Druckluftnetz herstellen. Im
Anschlussset finden Sie dafür die
gängigsten Anschlussnippel (4).
4.2 Einschalten und Einstellung der
Meißel - Intensität
Beim Bearbeiten von spröden
Materialien besteht Splittergefahr.
Der Geräuschpegel des Gerätes
beträgt typischerweise 78 dB(A).
Der Geräuschpegel kann beim
Arbeiten 85 dB(A) überschreiten.
Stets vom Körper weg arbeiten.

Durch Drehen am Stellring (2) wird der
Meißel Ein- und Ausgeschaltet und die
Meißel - Intensität eingestellt:
• Uhrzeigersinn, Einschalten und Erhö-
hung der Intensität.
• Gegenuhrzeigersinn, Reduzieren der
Intensität und ausschalten.
• Kurze Arbeitsunterbrechung: Drehen im
Gegenuhrzeigersinn des Stellrings (2) bis
Endstellung.
• Lange Arbeitsunterbrechung: Lösen der
Verbindung Druckluftschlauch – Druckluft-
netz.
4.3 Werkzeugwechsel
Vor dem Werkzeugwechsel den
Power-Pillo vom Druckluftnetz
trennen.
• Zum Werkzeugwechsel den Meißel (1)
nach vorne aus dem Werkzeughalter
ziehen.
• Neuen Meißel in Werkzeugaufnahme
stecken. Der Meißel muss spürbar
einrasten.
5. Reinigung / Wartung
Vor Wartungsarbeiten Gerät vom
Druckluftnetz trennen.
Der Power-Pillo benötigt keinen
Ölvernebler, er darf jedoch nicht mit mehr
als 6 bar betrieben werden, da dies zu
Beschädigungen des Gerätes führen kann.
Reinigen Sie die Oberfläche des Power-
Pillo gelegentlich mit einem weichen Tuch.
6. Ersatzteile
Entnehmen Sie die Verschleiß- bzw.
Ersatzteil-Nummern bitte der beigefügten
Ersatzteilliste.
7. Garantie
Bei sachgemäßer Anwendung gewährt
Renfert auf alle Teile des Power-Pillo eine
Garantie von 3 Jahren. Voraussetzung für
die Inanspruchnahme der Garantie ist das
Vorhandensein der Original-Verkaufs-
rechnung des Fachhandels. Ausgeschlos-
sen aus der Garantieleistung sind Teile, die
einer natürlichen Abnutzung ausgesetzt
sind.
Die Garantie erlischt bei unsachgemäßer
Verwendung, bei Missachtung der Bedie-
nungs-, Reinigungs-, Wartungs- und
Anschlussvorschriften, bei Eigenreparatur
oder Reparatur durch nicht autorisiertes
Personal, bei Verwendung von Ersatzteilen
anderer Hersteller und bei ungewöhnlichen
oder nach den Verwendungsvorschriften
nicht zulässigen Einflüssen. Garantie-
leistungen bewirken keine Verlängerung
der Garantie.

1. Introduction
We are pleased with your decision to
purchase a Power-Pillo.
The Power-Pillo is a robust device
operating at a high impact rate. Power
regulation permits the unit to be precisely
adjusted to meet your specific
requirements.
Please observe the following
operating instructions carefully
and observe all the information
they contain in order to ensure long and
trouble-free service. These operating
instructions must always be available at
the work area.
2. Application Area
The Power-Pillo is a pneumatically
powered chisel for deflasking acrylic
dentures or cast objects in dental
technology operations.
The plasma coating on the pistons
eliminates the need for an oil atomizer.
We recommend the use of a filter
pressure regulator (Art. No. 2929-0000).
2.1 Ambient Conditions
(in accordance with IEC 60664-1)
The Power-Pillo may only be operated:
• Indoors;
• Up to an altitude of 2,000 m [6,500 ft]
above sea level;
• At an ambient temperature range of 5 -
40ºC [41 - 104ºF];
• At a maximum relative humidity of 80% at
31ºC [87.8ºF], dropping linearly to 50%
relative humidity at 40ºC [104ºF];
• At contamination level 2.

3.2 Hazard Information
• Working with brittle materials can
result in the generation of health-
hazardous dusts. Always wear
appropriate personal protection and
ensure the work area is properly
ventilated.
• Always wear eye protection. Working
with brittle materials can generate
splinters.

• Always wear hearing protection. The
unit’s sound level typically lies on the
range of 78 dB(A). During some tasks,
the sound level can exceed 85 dB(A).
• Always work away from yourself.
Ground chisels are very sharp. There
is a high risk of injury should the chisel
slip off the piece being worked.
• Always disconnect the unit from the
compressed air supply before
exchanging or replacing chisel inserts.
There is a high risk of injury should the
unit start unexpectedly.
• Before starting the unit, compare the
information on the nameplate with the
compressed air connection values.
• Always disconnect the unit from the
compressed air supply before
beginning any maintenance tasks.
• Regularly examine the connecting
hoses for damage (e.g., kinks, cracks,
porosity).
• Never operate a unit with damaged
connecting hoses or other defects.
• The risk of mechanical vibrations is
dependent on the duration and the
intensity of the vibrations. The typical
maximum vibration is 1.93 m/s².
3.3 Liability Exclusion
Renfert GmbH shall be absolved from all
claims for damages or warranty if:
• The product is employed for any
purposes other than those cited in the
operating instructions;
• The product is altered in any way
other than those alterations described
in the operating instructions;
• The product is repaired by other than
an authorized facility or if any but
Renfert OEM parts are employed;
• The product continues to be
employed, despite obvious safety
faults.
4. Commissioning / Operation
Do not exceed the maximum
connection pressure of 6 bar
[87 psi]!
4.1 Connecting the Unit
• Insert the desired chisel (1) into the tool
retainer. The chisel must palpably lock
into place in the retainer.
• Turn the adjusting collar (2) completely
counter clockwise.
• Reduce the compressed air supply
connection pressure at the pressure
regulator to 4 to 6 bar [58 – 87 psi].
• Establish the connection to the
compressed air supply with the
connecting hose (3). The connecting kit
contains an assortment of the most
commonly used connecting nipples (4).
4.2 Switching the Unit On and
Adjusting the Chisel Force
Working with brittle materials can
generate splinters.
The unit’s sound level typically lies
ion the range of 78 dB(A). During
some tasks, the sound level can
exceed 85 dB(A).
Always work away from yourself.

Turn the adjusting collar (2) to switch the
chisel on and off and to adjust the chisel
force:
• Clockwise: Switch the chisel on and
increase its force.
• Counter clockwise: Reduce the chisel
force and switch it off.
• During short breaks: Turn the adjusting
collar (2) completely counter clockwise.
• During longer interruptions or once you
are finished with the unit: Disconnect the
compressed air hose from the
compressed air supply.
4.3 Chisel Replacement
Always disconnect the Power-Pillo
from the compressed air supply
before exchanging or replacing
chisel inserts.
• To replace an insert, pull the chisel (1)
forwards and out of the tool retainer.
• Insert the new chisel into the tool
retainer. The chisel must clearly lock into
place in the retainer.
5. Cleaning / Maintenance
Always disconnect the unit from
the compressed air supply before
beginning any maintenance tasks.
The Power-Pillo does not require the use
of an oil atomizer. However, it may not be
operated at a pressure in excess of 6 bar
[87 psi] otherwise the unit will be damaged.
Occasionally wipe down the Power-Pillo
surfaces with a soft cloth.
6. Spare Parts
Please refer to the enclosed spare parts
list for all consumables and spare /
replacement parts.
7. Warranty
Provided the unit is properly used, Renfert
warrants the Power-Pillo for a period of 3
years. The original sales receipt from the
dealer must be provided when making
warranty claims. Components subject to
natural wear are excluded from this
warranty.
The warranty is voided in case of improper
use; failure to observe the operating,
cleaning, maintenance, and connection
instructions; in case of independent repairs
or repairs by unauthorized personnel; if
spare parts from other manufacturers are
employed, or; in case of unusual influences
or influences not in compliance with the
utilization instructions. Warranty service
shall not extend the original warranty.

sa puissance réglable il peut être adapté
exactement à vos exigences.

tenir compte des indications
respectives afin de garantir un
fonctionnement de longue durée et sans
problèmes. L’instruction de service doit
être disponible en permanence au lieu
de travail.
2. Domaine d’application
Le Power-Pillo est un burin pneumatique
utilisé dans les laboratoires dentaires pour
le dégagement de prothèses dentaires
synthétiques et d’éléments coulés.
Grâce au revêtement plasma du piston,
un vaporisateur à huile n’est plus
nécessaire.

3.2 Indications de dangers
• Lors du traitement de matériaux
cassants des poussières nuisibles à la
santé peuvent se dégager. Faites

absolument attention lors du
travail,qu’un équipement de protection
personnelle approprié soit utilisé et
qu’une bonne aération / aspiration soit
existante.
• Porter des lunettes de protection, lors
du traitement de matériaux cassants il
y a un risque d’éclats.
• Porter une protection acoustique, le
niveau sonore typique de l’appareil est
de 78 dB(A). Le niveau sonore peut lors
du travail dépasser 85 dB(A).
• Travailler toujours dans le sens
opposé au corps. Des burins affûtés
peuvent être coupants. Lors du
dérapage du burin de sur la pièce à
usiner il y a risque de blessures.
• Le changement d’outils ne doit se
faire uniquement qu’après coupure de
l’alimentation en air comprimé. Risque
de blessure lors d’une mise en marche
soudaine du Power-Pillo.
• Avant la mise en marche de l’appareil
vérifier que les indications sur la
plaque signalétique correspondent
bien à la puissance connectée de l’air
comprimé.
• Avant les travaux d’entretien
déconnecter l’appareil du réseau à air
comprimé.
• Vérifier régulièrement les flexibles de
raccord pour exclure des
détériorations (par ex. : pliage,
fissures, porosité).
• N’utiliser en aucun cas des flexibles
de raccord abîmés ou présentant
d’autres défauts.
• Le risque de vibrations mécaniques
est définie par la durée et l’intensité
des vibrations. La vibration max. est
typiquement de 1,93 m/s².
3.3 Exclusion de responsabilité
Renfert GmbH refusera toute demande de
dédommagement ou de prise sous
garantie si:
• le produit a été utilisé dans d’autres
buts que ceux décrits dans les
instructions d’emploi.
• le produit a été transformé d’une
manière ou d’une autre – à part celles
décrites dans le mode d’emploi.
• le produit a été réparé par des
services non autorisés ou avec
l’emploi de pièces de rechange qui ne
sont pas les pièces d’origine de
Renfert .
• le produit a été utilisé malgré des
vices visibles.
4. Mise en service / Commande
Ne dépasser en aucun cas une
pression maximum de
raccordement de 6 bar !
4.1 Branchement de l’appareil
• Placer le burin (1) dans le logement de
l’outil. On doit sentir distinctement
l’enclenchement du burin dans le
logement.
• Tourner la bague de réglage (2) dans le
sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à
sa position finale.
• Réduire la pression de branchement de
4 à 6 bar au moyen du réducteur de
pression.
• Brancher le tuyau à air comprimé (3) sur
le réseau. Vous trouverez dans le jeu de
raccordement les nipples les plus
courants (4).
