1. Einleitung
Es freut uns, dass Sie sich zum Kauf des
Power-Pillo entschieden haben.
Der Power-Pillo ist ein robustes Gerät mit
hoher Schlagzahl. Durch die regulierbarere
Leistung kann er exakt nach Ihren Bedürf-
nissen eingestellt werden.
Bitte lesen Sie die folgende
Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam
durch und beachte Sie die darin
enthaltenen Hinweise, um eine lange und
problemlose Funktion zu gewährleisten.
Die Betriebsanleitung muss ständig am
Arbeitsplatz verfügbar sein.
2. Anwendungsbereich
Der Power-Pillo ist ein pneumatisch
betriebener Meißel zum Ausbetten von
Kunststoffprothesen oder Gußobjekten in
zahntechnischen Betrieben.
Durch die Plasma - Beschichtung des
Kolbens ist ein Ölvernebler nicht mehr
erforderlich.
Die Vorschaltung eines Filterdruckreglers
(Art. Nr. 2929-0000) wird empfohlen.
2.1 Umgebungsbedingungen
(nach IEC 60664-1)
Der Power-Pillo darf nur betrieben werden:
• in Innenräumen,
• bis zu einer Höhe von 2.000 m über NN,
• bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von 5 -
40ºC [41 - 104ºF],
• bei einer maximalen relativen Feuchte
von 80% bei 31ºC [87,8ºF], linear abneh-
mend bis zu 50% relativer Feuchte bei
40ºC [104ºF],
• bei Verschmutzungsgrad 2.

3.2 Gefahrenhinweise
• Beim Bearbeiten von spröden Materia-
lien können gesundheitsgefährdende
Stäube entstehen. Achten Sie unbe-
dingt auf geeignete persönliche
Schutzausrüstung und Belüftung /
Absaugung beim Arbeiten.
• Schutzbrille tragen. Beim Bearbeiten
von spröden Materialien besteht
Splittergefahr.

• Gehörschutz tragen. Der Geräuschpe-
gel des Gerätes beträgt typischer-
weise 78 dB(A). Der Geräuschpegel
kann beim Arbeiten 85 dB(A) über-
schreiten.
• Stets vom Körper weg arbeiten.
Geschliffene Meißel können scharf
sein. Beim Abrutschen des Meißels
vom Werkstück besteht Verletzungs-
gefahr.
• Werkzeugwechsel nur nach Unterbre-
chen der Druckluftversorgung durch-
führen. Bei unvermitteltem Anlauf des
Power-Pillo besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
• Vor Inbetriebnahme die Angaben des
Typenschildes mit den Anschlusswer-
ten für die Druckluft vergleichen.
• Vor Wartungsarbeiten Gerät vom
Druckluftnetz trennen.
• Anschlussschläuche regelmäßig auf
Beschädigungen (z.B. Knicke, Risse,
Porosität) überprüfen.
• Geräte mit schadhaften Anschluss-
schläuchen oder anderen Defekten
dürfen nicht mehr betrieben werden.
• Das Risiko von mechanischen
Schwingungen wird bestimmt durch
die Dauer und die Intensität der
Schwingungen. Max. Vibration beträgt
typischerweise 1,93 m/s².
3.3 Haftungsausschluss
Renfert GmbH lehnt jegliche Schadenser-
satz- und Gewährleistungsansprüche ab
wenn:
• das Produkt für andere, als die in der
Bedienungsanleitung genannten,
Zwecke eingesetzt wird.
• das Produkt in irgendeiner Art und
Weise verändert wird - außer den in
der Bedienungsanleitung beschriebe-
nen Veränderungen.
• das Produkt von nicht autorisierten
Stellen repariert oder nicht mit Original
Renfert Ersatzteilen eingesetzt wird.
• das Produkt trotz erkennbarer
Sicherheitsmängel weiter verwendet
wird.
4. Inbetriebnahme / Bedienung
Maximalen Anschlussdruck 6 bar
nicht überschreiten !
4.1 Anschließen des Gerätes
• Gewünschten Meißel (1) in Werkzeug-
aufnahme stecken. Der Meißel muss
spürbar in der Werkzeugaufnahme
einrasten.
• Stellring (2) im Gegenuhrzeigersinn bis
Endstellung drehen.
• Anschlussdruck der Druckluftversorgung
am Druckregler auf 4 bis 6 bar reduzie-
ren.
• Mit Druckluftschlauch (3) Verbindung
zum Druckluftnetz herstellen. Im
Anschlussset finden Sie dafür die
gängigsten Anschlussnippel (4).
4.2 Einschalten und Einstellung der
Meißel - Intensität
Beim Bearbeiten von spröden
Materialien besteht Splittergefahr.
Der Geräuschpegel des Gerätes
beträgt typischerweise 78 dB(A).
Der Geräuschpegel kann beim
Arbeiten 85 dB(A) überschreiten.
Stets vom Körper weg arbeiten.

Durch Drehen am Stellring (2) wird der
Meißel Ein- und Ausgeschaltet und die
Meißel - Intensität eingestellt:
• Uhrzeigersinn, Einschalten und Erhö-
hung der Intensität.
• Gegenuhrzeigersinn, Reduzieren der
Intensität und ausschalten.
• Kurze Arbeitsunterbrechung: Drehen im
Gegenuhrzeigersinn des Stellrings (2) bis
Endstellung.
• Lange Arbeitsunterbrechung: Lösen der
Verbindung Druckluftschlauch – Druckluft-
netz.
4.3 Werkzeugwechsel
Vor dem Werkzeugwechsel den
Power-Pillo vom Druckluftnetz
trennen.
• Zum Werkzeugwechsel den Meißel (1)
nach vorne aus dem Werkzeughalter
ziehen.
• Neuen Meißel in Werkzeugaufnahme
stecken. Der Meißel muss spürbar
einrasten.
5. Reinigung / Wartung
Vor Wartungsarbeiten Gerät vom
Druckluftnetz trennen.
Der Power-Pillo benötigt keinen
Ölvernebler, er darf jedoch nicht mit mehr
als 6 bar betrieben werden, da dies zu
Beschädigungen des Gerätes führen kann.
Reinigen Sie die Oberfläche des Power-
Pillo gelegentlich mit einem weichen Tuch.
6. Ersatzteile
Entnehmen Sie die Verschleiß- bzw.
Ersatzteil-Nummern bitte der beigefügten
Ersatzteilliste.
7. Garantie
Bei sachgemäßer Anwendung gewährt
Renfert auf alle Teile des Power-Pillo eine
Garantie von 3 Jahren. Voraussetzung für
die Inanspruchnahme der Garantie ist das
Vorhandensein der Original-Verkaufs-
rechnung des Fachhandels. Ausgeschlos-
sen aus der Garantieleistung sind Teile, die
einer natürlichen Abnutzung ausgesetzt
sind.
Die Garantie erlischt bei unsachgemäßer
Verwendung, bei Missachtung der Bedie-
nungs-, Reinigungs-, Wartungs- und
Anschlussvorschriften, bei Eigenreparatur
oder Reparatur durch nicht autorisiertes
Personal, bei Verwendung von Ersatzteilen
anderer Hersteller und bei ungewöhnlichen
oder nach den Verwendungsvorschriften
nicht zulässigen Einflüssen. Garantie-
leistungen bewirken keine Verlängerung
der Garantie.

1. Introduction
We are pleased with your decision to
purchase a Power-Pillo.
The Power-Pillo is a robust device
operating at a high impact rate. Power
regulation permits the unit to be precisely
adjusted to meet your specific
requirements.
Please observe the following
operating instructions carefully
and observe all the information
they contain in order to ensure long and
trouble-free service. These operating
instructions must always be available at
the work area.
2. Application Area
The Power-Pillo is a pneumatically
powered chisel for deflasking acrylic
dentures or cast objects in dental
technology operations.
The plasma coating on the pistons
eliminates the need for an oil atomizer.
We recommend the use of a filter
pressure regulator (Art. No. 2929-0000).
2.1 Ambient Conditions
(in accordance with IEC 60664-1)
The Power-Pillo may only be operated:
• Indoors;
• Up to an altitude of 2,000 m [6,500 ft]
above sea level;
• At an ambient temperature range of 5 -
40ºC [41 - 104ºF];
• At a maximum relative humidity of 80% at
31ºC [87.8ºF], dropping linearly to 50%
relative humidity at 40ºC [104ºF];
• At contamination level 2.

3.2 Hazard Information
• Working with brittle materials can
result in the generation of health-
hazardous dusts. Always wear
appropriate personal protection and
ensure the work area is properly
ventilated.
• Always wear eye protection. Working
with brittle materials can generate
splinters.

• Always wear hearing protection. The
unit’s sound level typically lies on the
range of 78 dB(A). During some tasks,
the sound level can exceed 85 dB(A).
• Always work away from yourself.
Ground chisels are very sharp. There
is a high risk of injury should the chisel
slip off the piece being worked.
• Always disconnect the unit from the
compressed air supply before
exchanging or replacing chisel inserts.
There is a high risk of injury should the
unit start unexpectedly.
• Before starting the unit, compare the
information on the nameplate with the
compressed air connection values.
• Always disconnect the unit from the
compressed air supply before
beginning any maintenance tasks.
• Regularly examine the connecting
hoses for damage (e.g., kinks, cracks,
porosity).
• Never operate a unit with damaged
connecting hoses or other defects.
• The risk of mechanical vibrations is
dependent on the duration and the
intensity of the vibrations. The typical
maximum vibration is 1.93 m/s².
3.3 Liability Exclusion
Renfert GmbH shall be absolved from all
claims for damages or warranty if:
• The product is employed for any
purposes other than those cited in the
operating instructions;
• The product is altered in any way
other than those alterations described
in the operating instructions;
• The product is repaired by other than
an authorized facility or if any but
Renfert OEM parts are employed;
• The product continues to be
employed, despite obvious safety
faults.
4. Commissioning / Operation
Do not exceed the maximum
connection pressure of 6 bar
[87 psi]!
4.1 Connecting the Unit
• Insert the desired chisel (1) into the tool
retainer. The chisel must palpably lock
into place in the retainer.
• Turn the adjusting collar (2) completely
counter clockwise.
• Reduce the compressed air supply
connection pressure at the pressure
regulator to 4 to 6 bar [58 – 87 psi].
• Establish the connection to the
compressed air supply with the
connecting hose (3). The connecting kit
contains an assortment of the most
commonly used connecting nipples (4).
4.2 Switching the Unit On and
Adjusting the Chisel Force
Working with brittle materials can
generate splinters.
The unit’s sound level typically lies
ion the range of 78 dB(A). During
some tasks, the sound level can
exceed 85 dB(A).
Always work away from yourself.

Turn the adjusting collar (2) to switch the
chisel on and off and to adjust the chisel
force:
• Clockwise: Switch the chisel on and
increase its force.
• Counter clockwise: Reduce the chisel
force and switch it off.
• During short breaks: Turn the adjusting
collar (2) completely counter clockwise.
• During longer interruptions or once you
are finished with the unit: Disconnect the
compressed air hose from the
compressed air supply.
4.3 Chisel Replacement
Always disconnect the Power-Pillo
from the compressed air supply
before exchanging or replacing
chisel inserts.
• To replace an insert, pull the chisel (1)
forwards and out of the tool retainer.
• Insert the new chisel into the tool
retainer. The chisel must clearly lock into
place in the retainer.
5. Cleaning / Maintenance
Always disconnect the unit from
the compressed air supply before
beginning any maintenance tasks.
The Power-Pillo does not require the use
of an oil atomizer. However, it may not be
operated at a pressure in excess of 6 bar
[87 psi] otherwise the unit will be damaged.
Occasionally wipe down the Power-Pillo
surfaces with a soft cloth.
6. Spare Parts
Please refer to the enclosed spare parts
list for all consumables and spare /
replacement parts.
7. Warranty
Provided the unit is properly used, Renfert
warrants the Power-Pillo for a period of 3
years. The original sales receipt from the
dealer must be provided when making
warranty claims. Components subject to
natural wear are excluded from this
warranty.
The warranty is voided in case of improper
use; failure to observe the operating,
cleaning, maintenance, and connection
instructions; in case of independent repairs
or repairs by unauthorized personnel; if
spare parts from other manufacturers are
employed, or; in case of unusual influences
or influences not in compliance with the
utilization instructions. Warranty service
shall not extend the original warranty.

2. Domaine d’application
Le Power-Pillo est un burin pneumatique
utilisé dans les laboratoires dentaires pour
le dégagement de prothèses dentaires
synthétiques et d’éléments coulés.
Grâce au revêtement plasma du piston,
un vaporisateur à huile n’est plus
nécessaire.

3.2 Indications de dangers
• Lors du traitement de matériaux
cassants des poussières nuisibles à la
santé peuvent se dégager. Faites

absolument attention lors du
travail,qu’un équipement de protection
personnelle approprié soit utilisé et
qu’une bonne aération / aspiration soit
existante.
• Porter des lunettes de protection, lors
du traitement de matériaux cassants il
y a un risque d’éclats.
• Porter une protection acoustique, le
niveau sonore typique de l’appareil est
de 78 dB(A). Le niveau sonore peut lors
du travail dépasser 85 dB(A).
• Travailler toujours dans le sens
opposé au corps. Des burins affûtés
peuvent être coupants. Lors du
dérapage du burin de sur la pièce à
usiner il y a risque de blessures.
• Le changement d’outils ne doit se
faire uniquement qu’après coupure de
l’alimentation en air comprimé. Risque
de blessure lors d’une mise en marche
soudaine du Power-Pillo.
• Avant la mise en marche de l’appareil
vérifier que les indications sur la
plaque signalétique correspondent
bien à la puissance connectée de l’air
comprimé.
• Avant les travaux d’entretien
déconnecter l’appareil du réseau à air
comprimé.
• Vérifier régulièrement les flexibles de
raccord pour exclure des
détériorations (par ex. : pliage,
fissures, porosité).
• N’utiliser en aucun cas des flexibles
de raccord abîmés ou présentant
d’autres défauts.
• Le risque de vibrations mécaniques
est définie par la durée et l’intensité
des vibrations. La vibration max. est
typiquement de 1,93 m/s².
3.3 Exclusion de responsabilité
Renfert GmbH refusera toute demande de
dédommagement ou de prise sous
garantie si:
• le produit a été utilisé dans d’autres
buts que ceux décrits dans les
instructions d’emploi.
• le produit a été transformé d’une
manière ou d’une autre – à part celles
décrites dans le mode d’emploi.
• le produit a été réparé par des
services non autorisés ou avec
l’emploi de pièces de rechange qui ne
sont pas les pièces d’origine de
Renfert .
• le produit a été utilisé malgré des
vices visibles.
4. Mise en service / Commande
Ne dépasser en aucun cas une
pression maximum de
raccordement de 6 bar !
4.1 Branchement de l’appareil
• Placer le burin (1) dans le logement de
l’outil. On doit sentir distinctement
l’enclenchement du burin dans le
logement.
• Tourner la bague de réglage (2) dans le
sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à
sa position finale.
• Réduire la pression de branchement de
4 à 6 bar au moyen du réducteur de
pression.
• Brancher le tuyau à air comprimé (3) sur
le réseau. Vous trouverez dans le jeu de
raccordement les nipples les plus
courants (4).

4.2 Mise en marche et réglage du
burin - Intensité
Lors de l’usinage de matériaux
cassants il y a risque d’éclats.
Le niveau sonore typique de
l’appareil est de 78 dB(A). Le
niveau sonore peut lors du travail
dépasser 85 dB(A).
Travailler toujours dans le sens
opposé au corps.
En tournant la bague de réglage (2) le
burin est mis en marche ou arrêté et en
même temps l’intensité est réglée:
• Dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre
mise en marche et réglage de l’intensité.
• Dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre réduction de l’intensité et
arrêt.
• Interruption courte du travail: Tourner la
bague de réglage (2) dans le sens
inverse des aiguilles d’une montre
jusqu’en position finale.
• Interruption longue de travail: débrancher
le tuyau à air comprimé du réseau à air
comprimé.
4.3 Changement de la lame du burin
Avant le changement de la lame
débrancher le Power-Pillo du
réseau à air comprimé.
• Pour le changement de l’outil (1) tirer la
lame du burin par devant de son
logement.
• Placer la nouvelle lame dans le
logement, son enclenchement doit se
sentir distinctement.
5. Nettoyage / Entretien
Avant tout travail d’entretien
d’ébrancher l’appareil du réseau à
air comprimé.
Le Power-Pillo n’a pas besoin d’un
vaporisateur à huile, il ne doit cependant
pas être utilisé à plus de 6 bar, et ce afin
d’exclure tout endommagement de
l’appareil.
Nettoyer de temps en temps la surface du
Power-Pillo à l’aide d’un tissu doux.

Vous trouverez les numéros
d’identification des pièces d’usure et de
rechange dans la liste ci-jointe.
7. Garantie
En cas d’utilisation conforme, la société
Renfert accorde sur toutes les pièces du
Power Pillo une garantie de 3 ans. La
condition pour une prise en charge sous
garantie est la présentation de la facture
d’origine de votre dépôt dentaire. Des
pièces soumises à une usure naturelle
(par exemple mixer, bol de mélange et filtre
d’aspiration) sont toutefois exclues de la
garantie. Tout droit à la garantie s’éteint en
cas d’utilisation non conforme, de non
respect des prescriptions con-cernant le
maniement, le nettoyage, la maintenance et
le raccord, en cas de travaux de réparation
effectués de propre main par du personnel
non autorisé, d’utilisation de pièces de
rechange d’autres fabricants ou en cas
d’influences inhabituelles ou inadmissibles
conformément aux consignes d’utilisation.
Des prestations de garantie ne donnent
aucun droit à une prolongation de la
garantie.

Grazie di aver deciso di acquistare un
martelletto pneumatico Power-Pillo.
Il Power-Pillo è un apparecchio robusto
con frequenza di battitura elevata. Grazie
alla possibilità di regolare la potenza, si
può impostare l’apparecchio con esattezza
secondo i fabbisogni personali.
Si prega di leggere attentamente
queste istruzioni per l’uso e di
osservare le avvertenze in esse
contenute; in questo modo si garantisce
una lunga durata ed un funzionamento
regolare. Le istruzioni per l’uso devono
essere sempre disponibili sul posto di
lavoro.
2. Campo di applicazione
Il Power-Pillo è un martelletto pneumatico
che serve a smuffolare le protesi in resina
oppure a rimuovere il rivestimento dalle
fusioni nei laboratori odontotecnici.
Grazie al rivestimento al plasma PVD del
pistone, un nebulizzatore d’olio non è più
necessario.
Si consiglia di montare a monte l’unità di
manutenzione (Art. No. 2929-0000) con
riduttore di pressione e filtro.
2.1 Condizioni ambientali
(a norma IEC 60664-1)
Il Power-Pillo può essere messo in
funzione solamente:
• in ambienti chiusi,
• fino ad un’altezza di 2.000 m sul livello
del mare,
• ad una temperatura ambiente di 5 - 40ºC
[41 - 104ºF],
• con un’umidità massima relativa dell’
80% a 31ºC [87,8ºF], con una
diminuzione lineare fino al 50% di
umidità relativa a 40ºC [104ºF],
• con inquinamento di grado 2.

3.2 Avvertenze di pericolo
• Lavorando con dei materiali fragili si
possono formare delle polveri nocive
alla salute. Applicare assolutamente
gli appositi dispositivi di protezione

personale e provvedere all’aerazione /
aspirazione durante il lavoro.
• Portare degli occhiali protettivi. I
materiali fragili possono provocare
delle schegge durante la lavorazione.
• Portare le cuffie protettive. Il livello di
rumorosità tipico dell’apparecchio è di
78 dB(A). Durante il lavoro, il livello di
rumorosità può superare 85 dB(A).
• Non dirigere lo scalpello verso
persone. Gli scalpelli rifilati possono
essere taglienti. Se lo scalpello scivola
dall’operato, può provocare delle
lesioni.
• Sostituire gli utensili solo dopo aver
staccato l’apparecchio dalla rete
dell’aria compressa. L’avvio
improvviso del Power-Pillo può
provocare delle lesioni.
• Prima della messa in servizio
confrontare i dati riportati sulla
targhetta con i valori di allacciamento
per l’aria compressa.
• Staccare l’apparecchio dall’aria
compressa prima di iniziare con dei
lavori di manutenzione.
• Controllare regolarmente se i cavi di
allacciamento sono danneggiati (ad es.
schiacciature, fratture, porosità).
• Gli apparecchi con cavi di
allacciamento danneggiati o che
presentano altri difetti non devono
essere più messi in servizio.
• I rischi causati da oscillazioni
meccaniche dipendono dalla durata e
dall’intensità delle oscillazioni. La
vibrazione mass. tipica è di 1,93 m/s².
3.3 Esclusione dalla responsabilità
La Renfert GmbH declina qualsiasi
richiesta di risarcimento danni e di garanzia
nei seguenti casi:
• l'apparecchio viene impiegato per
scopi diversi da quelli descritti nelle
istruzioni per l'uso;
• l'apparecchio viene modificato
arbitrariamente e non conformemente
a quanto specificato nelle istruzioni
per l'uso;
• l'apparecchio viene riparato da
persone o officine non autorizzate o in
esso vengono montati ricambi non
originali Renfert;
• l’apparecchio viene impiegato
nonostante presenti delle carenze di
sicurezza palesi.
4. Messa in servizio / Uso
Non superare la pressione di
allacciamento massima di 6 bar !
4.1 Collegamento dell’apparecchio
• Inserire lo scalpello desiderato (1) nel
portautensili. Si deve sentire che lo
scalpello si innesta in posizione nel
portautensili.
• Girare il collare (2) in senso antiorario
fino alla posizione finale.
• Ridurre la pressione di allacciamento
dell’aria compressa a 4 – 6 bar mediante
riduttore di pressione.
• Mediante tubo per l’aria compressa (3)
effettuare il collegamento alla rete
dell’aria compressa. Nel kit di
allacciamento si trovano i raccordi più
consueti (4).
4.2 Accensione e regolazione
dell’intensità di battitura
Pericolo di schegge provocate
dalla lavorazione di materiali

Il livello di rumorosità tipico
dell’apparecchio è di 78 dB(A).
Durante il lavoro, il livello di
rumorosità può superare 85 dB(A).
Non dirigere mai lo scalpello verso
persone.
Girando il collare (2) si accende e si
spegne il martelletto pneumatico e si
imposta l’intensità di battitura:
• in senso orario, accensione e aumento
dell’intensità.
• in senso antiorario, riduzione
dell’intensità e arresto.
• breve interruzione del lavoro: girare il
collare in senso antiorario (2) fino alla
posizione finale.
• lunga interruzione del lavoro:
interrompere il collegamento tra il tubo e
la rete dell’aria compressa.
4.3 Sostituzione degli utensili
Prima di sostituire gli utensili
staccare il Power-Pillo dall’aria
compressa.
• Per sostituire l’utensile, togliere lo
scalpello (1) dal portautensili.
• Inserire lo scalpello nuovo nel
portautensili. Si deve sentire che lo
scalpello si innesta in posizione.
5. Pulizia / manutenzione
Prima di eseguire interventi di
manutenzione staccare
l’apparecchio dall’aria compressa.
Il Power-Pillo non necessita alcun
nebulizzatore d’olio, ma non deve
funzionare con più di 6 bar, perché ciò può
causare dei danni all’apparecchio.
Pulire di tanto in tanto la superficie del
Power-Pillo con un panno morbido.

Per i codici dei ricambi si prega di
consultare il relativo elenco in allegato.
7. Garanzia
Con un impiego conforme, la Renfert
concede una garanzia di 3 anni su tutti i
componenti del Power-Pillo. Per usufruire
della garanzia occorre presentare la fattura
di vendita originale del rivenditore. Dalla
garanzia sono escluse tutte le parti che
sono soggette ad un’usura naturale.
La garanzia perde la sua validità con un
impiego non conforme, quando le norme
per l’uso, la pulizia, la manutenzione e il
raccordo non vengono osservate, con
riparazioni effettuate in proprio o da perso-
nale non autorizzato, con l’uso di pezzi di
ricambio di altri fabbricanti oppure con
influssi insoliti o non ammessi dalle
istruzioni per l’uso. Una prestazione in
garanzia non prolunga la durata della
garanzia stessa.

1. Inleiding
Het doet ons genoegen dat u besloten
heeft een Power-Pillo aan te kopen.
De Power-Pillo is een robuust apparaat
met een hoog toerental. Door het regelbaar
vermogen kan hij precies op uw behoeften
afgestemd worden.
Gelieve deze handleiding
aandachtig door te nemen en de
aanwijzingen na te leven teneinde
een lange en probleemloze werking te
garanderen. De handleiding dient op de
werkplek steeds binnen handbereik
bewaard te worden.
2. Toepassingsgebied
De Power-Pillo is een pneumatisch
aangedreven beitel voor het uitbedden van
kunststofprothesen of gietobjecten in
tandtechnische bedrijven.
Door de plasmalaag van de zuiger is een
olievernevelaar niet langer vereist.
De voorschakeling van een
filterdrukregelaar (art. nr. 2929-0000) is
aanbevolen.
2.1 Omgevingsvoorwaarden
(volgens IEC 60664-1)
De Power-Pillo mag enkel gebruikt
worden:
• binnen,
• tot op een hoogte van 2.000 m boven het
normaal nulpunt,
• bij een omgevingstemperatuur van
5 - 40ºC [41 - 104ºF],
• bij een maximale relatieve vochtigheid
van 80% bij 31ºC [87,8ºF], lineair dalend
tot 50% relatieve vochtigheid bij 40ºC
[104ºF],
• bij verontreinigingsgraad 2.
3. Veiligheidsmaatregelen
3.1 Gebruikte symbolen

3.2 Veiligheidsmaatregelen
• Bij het bewerken van broze materialen
kunnen stoffen ontstaan die gevaarlijk
zijn voor de gezondheid. Zorg vooral
voor een gepaste persoonlijke
beschermende uitrusting en
verluchting/afzuiging tijdens het
werken.
• Beschermbril dragen. Bij het
bewerken van broze materialen is er
gevaar voor splinters.

• Oorbescherming dragen. Het
geluidsniveau van het apparaat
bedraagt typisch 78 dB(A). Het
geluidsniveau kan tijdens het werken
de 85 dB(A) overschrijden.
• Steeds van het lichaam weg werken.
Geslepen beitels kunnen scherp zijn.
Als de beitel van het werkstuk afglijdt,
kunt u zich verwonden.
• Instrumenten wisselen na
onderbreking van de persluchttoevoer.
Bij onverwacht aanlopen van de
Power-Pillo is er gevaar voor
verwondingen.
• Voor de ingebruikneming de gegevens
op het typeschildje met de
aansluitwaarden voor de perslucht
vergelijken.
• Voor elk onderhoud het apparaat van
het persluchtnet scheiden.
• Aansluitslangen regelmatig op
beschadigingen (bijv. knikken,
scheuren, porositeit) controleren.
• Apparaten met beschadigde
aansluitslangen of andere defecten
mogen niet meer gebruikt worden.
• Het risico op mechanische
schommelingen wordt bepaald door de
duur en de intensiteit van de
schommelingen. Max. trilling bedraagt
typisch 1,93 m/s².
3.3 Ontheffing van aansprakelijkheid
Renfert GmbH weigert elke aanspraak op
schadevergoeding of garantie wanneer:
• het product voor andere dan in de
handleiding genoemde doeleinden
ingezet wordt.
• het product op de een of andere
manier veranderd werd- afgezien van
de in de handleiding beschreven
veranderingen.
• het product door onbevoegde
personen hersteld werd of niet met
originele Renfert wisselstukken
gebruikt wordt.
• het product ondanks duidelijke
veiligheidsgebreken toch verder
gebruikt wordt.
4. Ingebruikneming / Bediening
De maximale aansluitdruk van 6
bar niet overschrijden !
4.1 Het apparaat aansluiten
• Gewenste beitel (1) in werktuigopname
steken. De beitel moet merkbaar in de
werktuigopname inklikken.
• Stelring (2) tegen de wijzers van de klok
in tot het eindpunt draaien.
• Aansluitdruk van de persluchttoevoer op
de drukregelaar tot 4 à 6 bar ver-
minderen.
• Met de persluchtslang (3) de verbinding
met het persluchtnet tot stand brengen. In
de aansluitset vindt u daartoe de meest
gangbare aansluitnippels (4).
4.2 Inschakelen en instellen van de
beitelintensiteit
Bij het bewerken van broze materi-
alen is er splintergevaar.
Het geluidsniveau van het apparaat
bedraagt normaal 78 dB(A). Het
geluidsniveau kan tijdens het
werken de 85 dB(A) overschrijden.
Steeds van het lichaam weg
werken.
Door aan de stelring (2) te draaien, wordt
de beitel in -en uitgeschakeld en de

beitelintensiteit ingesteld:
• met de wijzers van de klok mee,
inschakelen en verhogen van de
intensiteit.
• tegen de wijzers van de klok in, ver-
minderen van de intensiteit en
uitschakelen.
• Korte werkonderbreking: De stelring (2)
tegen de wijzers van de klok in draaien tot
het eindpunt.
• Lange werkonderbreking: Loskoppelen
van de verbinding persluchtslang –
persluchtnet.
4.3 Werktuigwissel
Voor de werktuigwissel de Power-
Pillo van het persluchtnet
loskoppelen.
• Voor het vervangen van het werktuig de
beitel (1) naar voren uit de
werktuighouder trekken.
• Nieuwe beitel in werktuigopname
steken. De beitel moet merkbaar
inklikken.
5. Reiniging / Onderhoud
Voor elk onderhoud het apparaat
van het persluchtnet scheiden.
De Power-Pillo heeft geen olievernevelaar
nodig, maar mag niet met meer dan 6 bar
gebruikt worden aangezien dit het apparaat
zou kunnen beschadigen.
Reinig het oppervlak van de Power-Pillo bij
gelegenheid met een zachte doek.
6. Wisselstukken
Zie de bijgevoegde lijst met wisselstukken
voor de slijtage –of wisselstuknummers.
7. Garantie
Bij correct gebruik verleent Renfert op alle
onderdelen van de Power-Pillo een
garantie van 3 jaar. Voorwaarde om
aanspraak te kunnen maken op de garantie
is het kunnen voorleggen van de originele
verkoopfactuur van de vakhandelaar.
Uitgesloten van de garantie zijn onderdelen
die aan een natuurlijke slijtage onderhevig
zijn. De garantie vervalt bij oneigenlijk
gebruik, bij het niet in acht nemen van de
bedienings-, reinigings-, onderhouds- en
aansluitingsvoorschriften, bij eigen
reparatie of reparatie door ongekwalificeerd
personeel, bij gebruik van onderdelen van
andere fabrikanten en bij ongewone of niet
toegelaten invloeden. Garantieprestaties
hebben geen verlenging van de
garantieperiode tot gevolg.
