This User Manual is designed to show you how to use this video processor quickly and
make use of all the features. Please read all directions and instructions carefully before
using this product.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Statement
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class A digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area may cause harmful
interference, in which case the user will be responsible for correcting any interference.
Guarantee and Compensation
RGBlink provides a guarantee relating to perfect manufacturing as part of the legally
stipulated terms of guarantee. On receipt, the purchaser must immediately inspect all
delivered goods for damage incurred during transport, as well as for material and
manufacturing faults. RGBlink must be informed immediately in writing of any complains.
The period of guarantee begins on the date of transfer of risks, in the case of special systems
and software on the date of commissioning, at latest 30 days after the transfer of risks. In the
event of justified notice of compliant, RGBlink can repair the fault or provide a replacement at its
own discretion within an appropriate period. If this measure proves to be impossible or
unsuccessful, the purchaser can demand a reduction in the purchase price or cancellation of the
contract. All other claims, in particular those relating to compensation for direct or indirect
damage, and also damage attributed to the operation of software as well as to other service
provided by RGBlink, being a component of the system or independent service, will be deemed
invalid provided the damage is not proven to be attributed to the absence of properties
guaranteed in writing or due to the intent or gross negligence or part of RGBlink.
If the purchaser or a third party carries out modifications or repairs on goods delivered by
RGBlink, or if the goods are handled incorrectly, in particular if the systems are commissioned
operated incorrectly or if, after the transfer of risks, the goods are subject to influences not
agreed upon in the contract, all guarantee claims of the purchaser will be rendered invalid. Not
included in the guarantee coverage are system failures which are attributed to programs or
special electronic circuitry provided by the purchaser, e.g. interfaces. Normal wear as well as
normal maintenance are not subject to the guarantee provided by RGBlink either.
The environmental conditions as well as the servicing and maintenance regulations specified in
this manual must be complied with by the customer.

Operators Safety Summary
The general safety information in this summary is for operating personnel.
Do Not Remove Covers or Panels
There are no user-serviceable parts within the unit. Removal of the top cover will expose
dangerous voltages. To avoid personal injury, do not remove the top cover. Do not operate the
unit without the cover installed.
Power Source
This product is intended to operate from a power source that will not apply more than 230 volts
rms between the supply conductors or between both supply conductor and ground. A protective
ground connection by way of grounding conductor in the power cord is essential for safe
operation.
Grounding the Product
This product is grounded through the grounding conductor of the power cord. To avoid electrical
shock, plug the power cord into a properly wired receptacle before connecting to the product
input or output terminals. A protective-ground connection by way of the grounding conductor in
the power cord is essential for safe operation.
Use the Proper Power Cord
Use only the power cord and connector specified for your product. Use only a power cord that is
in good condition. Refer cord and connector changes to qualified service personnel.
Use the Proper Fuse
To avoid fire hazard, use only the fuse having identical type, voltage rating, and current rating
characteristics. Refer fuse replacement to qualified service personnel.
Do Not Operate in Explosive Atmospheres
To avoid explosion, do not operate this product in an explosive atmosphere.
Installation Safety Summary
Safety Precautions
For all product installation procedures, please observe the following important safety and
handling rules to avoid damage to yourself and the equipment.
To protect users from electric shock, ensure that the chassis connects to earth via the ground
wire provided in the AC power Cord.
The AC Socket-outlet should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.

Unpacking and Inspection
Before opening product shipping box, inspect it for damage. If you find any damage, notify the
shipping carrier immediately for all claims adjustments. As you open the box, compare its
contents against the packing slip. If you find any shortages, contact your sales representative.
Once you have removed all the components from their packaging and checked that all the listed
components are present, visually inspect the system to ensure there was no damage during
shipping. If there is damage, notify the shipping carrier immediately for all claims adjustments.
Site Preparation
The environment in which you install your product should be clean, properly lit, free from static,
and have adequate power, ventilation, and space for all components.

1.2 Product Overview
The RGBlink UMS Series of computer hardware delivers just that, with latest
generation Intel i7 processors and a choice of professional Nvidia and AMD Radeon
GPUs.Connectivity is king with up to 12K of configurable output via the RGBlink isolated
DisplayPort connector panel,protecting the GPU card from connector turn degradation.
Two slots are provided for installation of a select platform approved capture cards including
12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0.
Use RGBlink MPS to configure and output multiple video sources as layers, windows or
PIP, allowing outputted media to be tailored the needs of downstream processors and
displays directly from the source.UMS solutions are ideal companions for video wall
processors and similar devices, and perfect for integration, digital signage and events
applications.

Chapter 2 Install Your Product
2.1 Connecting Signals
Connect input signals and output display to the product before all devices are powered on. Tighten
connector screws/locks where provided.
2.2 Plug in Power
Connect IEC cable to device and plug into wall socket. Turn on power at wall socket.
2.3 Turn on Your UMS4 pro
Press the power switch and the device will enter boot interface.
The device will remain the status you have set last time.

3.1Graphics Card Mosaic Setting
1. Right-click your computer desktop to open"NVIDIA
Control Panel".
2. Click “Work Station”--“Mosaic Setting”--“Add new”
3. Layout
Number of monitor:1-4
Layout(Row×Column):select layout according to your needs.
Direction:Horizontal/Vertical
Click “Next”to continue.

3.2 Software Installation
Environment Requirement
Windows
64 位Win7,Win10
LAN Environment
Put the control computer and media server in the LAN environment, the supported communication protocol is
TCP/IP protocol. (In order to ensure the quality of network communication, wireless network environment is not
recommended.)
MPS Server requires both the Client and the Server to be installed. Both can be installed on the same device.
In most cases, the client and server need to be installed respectively,so you need to install the client on the
controller and the server on the playback server.
4. Select the monitor
Tick the monitors need splicing
Refresh Rate:29.97/30hz
Resolution:600×480|720×480|720×576|800×600|1024×768|
1176×664|1280×720|1280×1024|1600×1024|1680×1050|

Click “Next”to continue
5. Arrange the monitor
Left-click and drag the signals to the display layout.
After setting,click”Apply”.
Note: The sequence of splicing display must be consistent with the factual situation.

After configuration settings,click the Client icon to enter
MPS software
Click“New”
Configuration Setting
1. Right-click the MPS icon ,open the location of the
file.
2. Click the icon to enter the
configuration menu.
3. Adjust the location
Left:fill in the width of the main monitor,for example,the
width is 3840
Right:fill in the total width of monitors,for example,single
monitor width is 3840,and the total width of 4 monitors is
15360.
Bottom:fill in the height of monitor
After setting,click”OK”to confirm.

3.3 Add Device
Display Device
Add Device
Display device includes projector,LED screen and LCD
screen.
The number of devices is determined according to the
actual situation of the site. At most, the number of
devices is unlimited.When adding devices, IP address,
device name and resolution should be confirmed.
There are 2 ways to add device
1. You can click the top menu bar -- "Device" -- "Add
Output", and the "Add Device" box will appear.
2. Click "Add Device" in the toolbar at the bottom of
the Device List.
Fill in the file name and click save.
Settings on the software will be saved in the file and you
can directly load the file next time.
Now you will enter MPS boot interface.

3.4 Add Media
MPS provides various media editing and media special effects editing functions, and supports a variety of formats
of media materials.
Video
MPS supports a variety of video formats, such as MP4, AVI, MKV, MOV, MPEG, RM, RMVB, WMV and other video
formats, and supports mainstream video coding formats to meet the requirements of all kinds of display and
performance.
Audio
Audio can be used as material to be edited into the program . When you use it, you need to import the audio file
into the media list, and then drag it to the stage device. At the same time, you can edit the time , playback
duration and playback mode of the audio.
MPS supports many audio formats, such as MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, APE, M4A, etc.
Picture
MPS supports a variety of picture format,such as JPG,PNG,JPEG,GIF,BMP,TIF.
3.4.1 Add Media
Device name:custom
IP:IP address
Resolution:Automatically detect resolution or custom
resolution
Width/Height: fill in width and height of display
After setting,click “Accept”
Add one device every time,and the number of device
is unlimited.
There are 2 ways to add media,
1. Click the icon in the menu on the right -- “Add
local file”
2. Click “Media”on the left menu--“Add local media”

3.4.2 Media Source
Left-click the video, audio or picture in the media list
in the right column and drag and drop them into the
program as shown in the picture.
Click the icon to delete the video which is not
needed.
You can check the video you want to display in the
local folder, and then click “Open”,the video will be
imported into the software.
Managing all media elements is the main function of
the Media List window. The added media will be
displayed in this list, which will display the added
media information, including thumbnail image, name,
type, resolution, duration, path and other information.

Program
3.5 Layer Setting
3.5.1Form Setting
You can preview the all information of the "Program",
including the name,duration and sequence of the
program.
You can simply click the program to play or pause it as
shown in the right picture.
In single layer,you can simply drag the length of media
to change its duration.
Among different layers,the media on the top will be
displayed first.You can drag the media to change their
play sequence.

3.5.2 Control Button
:click to stop currently playing layer.It will return play
normally when clicking again
:click to lock all operations of the layer.It will return
editing status when clicking again.
:click to hid the preview image.
:click to mute the media.It will return normally when
clicking again.
:play the last one
:pause the audio and pause button will turn into
play button.
:play the next one
You can also start and stop the program via space key.
