standards and comply with all U.S. and Canadian loft and bunk bed regulations.

CARE AND CLEANING
DO NOT scratch or chip the finish. DO NOT use abrasive chemicals for cleaning. Dust often using a clean, soft, dry cloth. Blot spills immediately and wipe
with a clean, damp cloth. If the bed is to be stored, store in a cool, dry place and carefully package all original hardware to protect from loss.

Note: Two people are recommended for assembly.
NOTE: When inserting bolts, turn clockwise until tight. Then loosen 12- 34of a turn. After bed is completely assembled, return to each bolt and tighten.
Use wax or soap on all bolts to facilitate assembly.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Follow the information on the WARNING label attached to the loft and on
the packaging.
2. Always use the specified mattress size, mattress support, or both to help
prevent the likelihood of entrapment or falls.
3. Surface of mattress must be at least 5 inches below the upper edge of
guardrails on the loft.
4. Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the loft.
5. Prohibit more than one person on the loft.
6. Periodically check and ensure that the guardrails, ladder, and other
components are in their proper position, free from damage, and that all
connectors are tight.
7. Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
8. Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the loft.
9. Do not use substitute parts. Contact RH for replacement parts.
10.Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using
the loft.
11.Use guardrails on both sides of the loft.
12.If the bed will be placed next to a wall, the guardrail that runs the full length
of the bed should be placed against the wall to prevent entrapment between
the bed and the wall.
13. The use of a water flotation mattress is prohibited.
14.STRANGULATION HAZARD - Never attach or hang items to any part of the
bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed, such as hooks, belts,
and jump ropes.
15.Keep these instructions for future reference.

TO HELP PREVENT SERIOUS OR FATAL
INJURIES FROM ENTRAPMENT OR FALLS:
1. Never allow a child under 6 years of age on the loft.
2. Use a mattress that is 38"W x 75"L x 6''H on Twin loft
bunk.
3. Ensure height of mattress does not exceed 6" and
mattress is at least 5" below upper edge of guardrails.
4. Use guardrails on both sides of the loft.
5. Use ladder for entering and leaving the loft.
6. Prohibit horseplay on or under bed.
7. Do not allow more than one person on the loft.
8. If the bed will be placed next to a wall, be sure the

IMPORTANT
These bed parts can be cumbersome and heavy. Two people are therefore recommended for assembly to prevent personal injury and ensure the bed
parts are not damaged during the assembly process.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the headboard (A) upright in the position you wish the bed to be in when fully assembled. Secure the threaded rod (1) to the fixed nut in the
headboard (A) by turning it manually. Raise the side rail (C1) up and place the rod (1) to align with the bore holes on the end of the side rail (C1). Put
the side rail (C1) up against the headboard (A) so the threaded rods go through the bore holes. Insert curved washer (2) and lock washer (3), place
hex nuts (4) on threaded rod (1) and tighten hex nuts (4) with wrench (5). See FIGURE 1. KEEP HOLDING THE SIDE RAIL DURING NEXT STEP.
2. Insert allen bolt (6) through the lock washer (7), flat washer (8) and hole in the heaboard as illustrated in FIGURE 2.
3. Repeat the above procedure with the other side rail (C2) to attach it to the headboard (A). KEEP HOLDING THE SIDE RAIL DURING NEXT STEP.

4. Repeat step 1 and 2 to attach the side rails to the footboard (B).
5. Attach the "T" metal (10) to the side rails and post of the headboard / footboard. Insert phillips bolts (11) provided to pass through hole on "T" metal
and the nut on side rails and post of headboard / footboard. Refer to FIGURE 3.

!!! IMPORTANT: ENSURE THAT THE LADDER IS ALWAYS INSTALLED ON THE CORRECT SIDE.
6. Set the bed slats (D) on the upper loft. Secure each slat by using screws (13) provided. See FIGURE 4.
7. Hook the ladder (F) onto the footboard while aligning the metal concealed bracket on the ladder with the bracket on the footboard. Use screws (12)
provided to affix the top of the ladder to the footboard as shown in FIGURE 5 and FIGURE 6.

8. Place the platform panels (E) on the upper bed and affix with screws (13). See FIGURE 7.
9. MATTRESS INSTALLATION
MATTRESS SPECIFICATION:
The following mattress and foundation sizes are specified for use with this loft bed.
Mattress: 38''W x 75''L x 6''H on Twin loft bed.
**Note: TOP MATTRESS AND PLATFORM MUST NOT EXCEED 6'' TOTAL HEIGHT.
Be sure to adhere to these MATTRESS SPECIFICATIONS in order to avoid the possibility of falling or entrapment.
