Rimage Amigo II™ Setup and Installation
Setup the PC.
a. Power down the PC.
b. If your PC does not have a FireWire
card, install the FireWire card
included with your Amigo II.
Prepare the Amigo II.

Note: If you received a Rimage control center
with your Amigo II, you do not need to install a
FireWire® card in your PC.
Before you begin:
If you did not order a Rimage control center with
your Amigo II, obtain a PC that meets the PC
specifications listed in your Amigo II User Guide.
This document is intended for people who
are familiar with BIOS setup, hard drives,
partitioning, and Windows operating systems.
If you do not understand the procedures in this
document, ask your computer technician for help
or refer to your PC documentation.

a. On the Amigo II, open the front door.
b. Cut the plastic tie wrap from the lift arm.
c. Remove the tape from the mailbox feed
tray.
d. Remove the shipping foam inserted
above the carousel.
e. Close the front door.

a. Unpack the Everest printer.

Instructions included with
your Everest printer.
b. Place the printer on the
Amigo II so that the plastic
feet slide into the slots on
the printer plate.

a. Open the Prism printer
packing box.
b. Remove the packing
foam from the ends of the
Prism printer.
c. Remove the plastic bag
from the Prism printer.
d. Remove the top cover of
the Prism printer.
e. Remove the foam inserts.
f. Replace the top cover.
g. Place the printer on the
Amigo II so that the plastic
feet slide into the slots on
the printer plate.

the autoloader to the printer.
b. Connect the short
power cord from
the autoloader to the
printer.

autoloader to the PC.

autoloader to the PC.

f. Connect the USB cable
from the printer to the PC.

Note: If you received a control center with your Amigo
II, you do not need to install the Rimage software. The
Rimage software is already installed on the control center.

For information about submitting orders to the Amigo II
across a network, refer to the Advanced Setup Guide
included on your software disc. After software installation,
the Advanced Setup Guide is located on the PC at Start >
Programs > Rimage > Manuals.
For information about operating and maintaining the
Amigo II, refer to the Amigo II User Guide included with
your product.
For additional support and product information, go to

a. Power on the PC.
b. Place the Rimage software CD in the PC disc drive.
Note: If the software installation does not start
automatically, navigate: Start > Run and browse to
the Setup.exe file on the software CD.
c. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the software
installation.
For information about installing the printer driver, refer
to the user guide included with your printer.
You have 30 days to activate your Rimage software.
Until your software is activated, you will be prompted
to activate your software each time you use the
Rimage software.
When the activation dialog displays, select an option
and follow the onscreen prompts to activate your
software.
Important! You must have administrative privileges
to install the software on the PC.

