Zur Montage eines Flaschenhalters an Ahead
Vorbauten. Der Bottlefix Ahead wird an Stelle der
Verschluss Kappe des Steuersatzes montiert und
ist für alle üblichen Flaschenhalter verwendbar.
WICHTIG Die Flasche vor Transport auf dem Auto-
Fahrradträger unbedingt abnehmen!
Retrofit kit for the fixation of bottle cages on
Ahead stems by replacing the headset’s top cap. Fits
all regular bottle cages.
IMPORTANT Remove the bottle before transporting
the bike on a car rack.
Kit de fixation pour porte-bidon sur tube direc-
tion. Convient à tous les porte-bidons standards.
IMPORTANT Ne pas oublier de retirer le bidon
lorsque le vélo est transporté sur un porte-vélo.

[1] Der Bottlefix für Ahead Vorbau ist mit
beliebigen Flaschenhaltern kombinierbar.
[2] Ausgewählten Flaschenhalter und Bottlefix mit
den beiliegenden Schrauben vormontieren.
[3+4]. Die zentrale Schraube des Ahead Vorbaus
lösen und Schraube mit Abdeckkappe abnehmen.
[5] Anstelle der Kappe den Bottlefix mit vormon-
tiertem Flaschenhalter aufsetzen. In gewünschter
Position mit derselben Schraube festschrauben, bis
sich der Halter nicht mehr verdreht (5-6 Nm max.).
ACHTUNG Sobald die seitlichen Vorbau Schrauben
gelöst wurden (was für die Montage des Flaschen-
halters nicht erforderliche ist), muss das Lagerspiel
über die zentrale Schraube gemäß Herstelleranga-
ben neu eingestellt werden ! Bitte beachten Sie,
dass die Montage von Zubehör im Bereich des Len-
kers bei Stürzen zu einer erhöhten Verletzungsge-
fahr führen kann.
[1] Bottlefix for Ahead stems fits all regular
bottle cages.
[2] Attach the bottlecage to the Bottlefix socket
using the two enclosed screws.
[3+4]. Loosen the central screw of the ahead stem
and remove stem cap and screw.
[5] Replace the top cap with the assembled Bottlefix
and cage. Adjust Bottlefix to the desired position
and tighten the central screw (5-6 Nm).
WARNING Loosening the stem’s lateral screws
(no need to do that for mounting the bottlefix)
necessitates readjusting the headset bearing.
Adjust the headset bearing by tightening the
central screw according to the manufacturer’s
recommendation. Please note that the installation
of accessories around the handlebar can result in
an increased injury risk during crashes.

à tous les porte-bidon standards.
[2] Fixer le porte-bidon à la fixation Bottlefix
à l’aide des deux vis incluses.
[3+4]. Desserrer la vis centrale de la potence et reti-
rer le capot et la vis.
[5] Remplacer le capot par le Bottlefix sur lequel
vous avez monté le porte-bidon. Positionner le
Bottlefix comme souhaité et resserrer la vis
centrale (5-6Nm).
ATTENTION Desserrer les vis latérales
nécessite un réajustement des rou-
lements du jeu de direction. Ajuster
ces roulements en resserrant la vis
centrale selon les préconisations du
constructeur. Merci de noter que
l’installation d’accessoires sur
le cintre peuvent augmenter
les risques de blessures en
cas de chute.
