5.) Lay floor trays side-by-side into the bottom of the whelping box with the frame pipes facing up to allow
connection to the side panels.
6.) Connect floors to side panels with supplied #250 floor clips in the following manner:
- One in the middle of each bottom bar of the #124 panels.
- Two at the extreme ends of the #D24 door frame bottom bar (do not place in the door opening).
- Three equally spaced across the mid-span of the floor frames.
7.) Assemble the puppy rails by inserting the cross-bars into the through-drilled holes in the main bars and
then insert the four legs into the blind holes drilled into the bottom of the main bars; be sure to orientate the
main bars so that all four blind holes are facing the same direction. Refer to the three photos below for
visual clarification.
8.) Insert the Roverpet puppy rail assembly into the whelping box with the drilled and end-notched leg bars
running across the door opening for correct fastening orientation, as shown in the left photo below; partially
engage the two notched ends of the leg bars with the second inward-most vertical bars of the #124 panels
as shown in the right photo below.
9.) Proceed with lowering the Roverpet puppy rail assembly into the opposite side of the Roverpet whelping
box and completely engage the notched ends of the leg bars with the small vertical bars of the #124
panels. Supporting the small vertical bars with one hand while simultaneously pushing the leg bars towards
the #124 panel with your other hand will help to more easily facilitate the connection. Refer to the two
photos below for visual clarification.
10.) Once fully engaged with the vertical bars of the #124 panels, push the Roverpet puppy rail assembly
completely to the bottom of the Roverpet whelping box and seat it against the floor trays.
11.) Starting on the right side of the #D24 door (looking from the outside of the whelping box),feed the #DPK
Designer Puppy Keeper, with the label side facing out, between the large outer pipe of the door frame and
the small diameter vertical bar adjacent to it (left photo below). Feed the fabric across the back of the door
and pull it back through the same position on the other side of the door (right photo below).
