NORME PER LA SICUREZZA E LA PREVENZIONE DEGLI INFORTUNI
Le istruzioni per la sicurezza e la prevenzione degli infortuni sono
riportate nel fascicolo “INDICAZIONI PER LA SICUREZZA” che
costituisce parte integrante della presente documentazione; il libretto
d’istruzioni per l’uso riporta solamente le informazioni aggiuntive
strettamente correlate all’uso specifico della macchina.
Non fare funzionare mai gli utensili senza i dispositivi di protezione
montati.
Ogni operazione sulla macchina venga eseguita a spina disinserita.
Prima dell'azionamento la macchina sia saldamente impugnata e non
sia a contatto con la superficie di lavoro.
Indossate abiti adatti a svolgere il lavoro che state per compiere.
Se durante la levigatura si formano polveri nocive alla salute,
l’apparecchio deve essere collegato ad un adatto dispositivo di
aspirazione (non fornito): proteggere le vie respiratorie con disposi-
tivi a norma di legge e rispettare le disposizioni di sicurezza valide
per il materiale sottoposto a lavorazione.
A causa dei rischi che possono insorgere durante la levigatura, si
raccomanda di utilizzare sempre tutti i D.P.I. (dispositivi di protezione
individuale, quali guanti, cuffie, occhiali protettivi, maschere per pro-
tezione delle vie respiratorie ecc.) secondo le normative di legge vi-
genti per prevenire o ridurre le possibilità di incidenti.
Attenzione! l'utensile continua per alcuni secondi a funzionare dopo lo
spegnimento!!
UTILIZZO CONFORME AGLI SCOPI PREVISTI
Le macchine devono essere utilizzate solo per la levigatura a secco di
legno, plastica, materiali compositi, vernice, stucco e materiali simili.
Non sono previste per la lavorazione di metalli e di materiali conte-
nenti amianto.
Le macchine non devono funzionare in ambiente umido o in pre-
senza di gas o liquidi infiammabili.
Controllare che il pezzo da lavorare sia sufficientemente fissato.
In caso di utilizzo non conforme agli scopi previsti, l’utilizzatore si
assume ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni ed incidenti.

AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA SPECIFICHE PER LE
OPERAZIONI DI LEVIGATURA
Se l’utilizzo di un utensile elettrico in un luogo umido è
inevitabile, utilizzare un’alimentazione protetta da un interrut-
tore differenziale (RCD). L’utilizzo di un interruttore differenziale
(RCD) riduce il rischio di scossa elettrica.

MESSA IN FUNZIONE
Prima di mettere in funzione la macchina accertarsi che:
- l’imballo sia integro e non mostri segni di danneggiamento dovuti a
trasporto e magazzinaggio;
- la macchina sia completa; controllare che numero e natura dei
componenti siano conformi a quanto riportato sul presente libretto;
- la fonte di energia e le prese di corrente a disposizione possano
sopportare il carico indicato in tabella e riportato sulla targhetta
d’identificazione della macchina il cui facsimile, con spiegazioni, è
riportato a pag. 7.
MONTAGGIO DELLA MACCHINA
Montare l’impugnatura ausiliaria (4) a mezzo della apposita vite (5);
SSPF:
Posizionare il filtro di protezione (10) nella scatola (9) quindi montare a
pressione il tutto sul corpo macchina.
SSCA:
Montare a pressione il tubo di raccordo piastra-turbina (13);
montare il sacchetto raccoglipolvere (14).
MONTAGGIO DELLA CARTA ABRASIVA
SSPF - SSCA VERSIONE PIASTRA GOMMA FORATA
- Ripetere le operazioni precedenti;
- forare la carta con l’attrezzo (8).
SSPF VERSIONE PIASTRA GOMMA FORATA VELCRATA
- Applicare a pressione il foglio di carta forata velcrata avendo cura
che i fori coincidano con quelli esistenti sulla piastra gomma;
PRIMA DELLA MESSA IN SERVIZIO
Accertarsi che:
- la fonte di energia sia conforme alle caratteristiche della macchina;
- cavo di alimentazione e relativa spina siano in perfetto stato;
- l'interruttore di inserimento/disinserimento sia efficiente operando,
però, a spina disinserita;
- tutti i componenti della macchina siano montati correttamente e non
presentino segni di danneggiamento;
- le feritoie di ventilazione non siano ostruite (11);
- la macchina sia correttamente collegata ad un sistema
d’aspirazione idoneo ed efficiente.
AVVIAMENTO E FERMATA
- Avviamento: spingere in avanti la slitta dell’interruttore (2).
- Fermata: riportare indietro l’interruttore (2).
FUNZIONAMENTO DI PROVA
Avviare la macchina e controllare che non siano presenti vibrazioni
anomale e che la carta si mantenga ben tesa.
In caso contrario spegnere la macchina immediatamente e
provvedere ad eliminare le anomalie.

SOSTITUZIONE DELLA CARTA ABRASIVA
SSPF - SSCA VERSIONE PIASTRA GOMMA FORATA
- Sollevare le leve fermacarta (7) premendo sulle apposite appendici
e rimuovere il foglio usato;
- rimontare il nuovo foglio seguendo le istruzioni indicate nel capitolo
“MONTAGGIO DELLA CARTA ABRASIVA”.
SSPF VERSIONE PIASTRA GOMMA FORATA VELCRATA
- Asportare a strappo il foglio di carta usato;
- montare a pressione il nuovo foglio avendo cura che i fori coincida-
no con quelli esistenti sulla piastra.
UTENSILI DI LAVORO AMMESSI
- Fogli di carta abrasiva per levigatrici orbitali;
- fogli di carta forata velcrata per le versioni predisposte.
MANUTENZIONE
Tutte le operazioni vanno eseguite a spina disinserita.
- Controllare periodicamente il serraggio delle viti situate sulla parte
superiore della piastra base in corrispondenza degli angoli;
- a fine lavoro, od in caso di necessità: pulire il filtro di protezione del-
le feritoie motore e spolverare con getto di aria compressa il corpo
macchina prestando particolare attenzione alla pulizia delle feritoie
di ventilazione del motore;
- per SSCA: provvedere allo svuotamento del sacco raccoglipolvere.
Non sono ammessi altri interventi da parte dell'utente.
Per la manutenzione e la periodica pulizia delle parti interne, come
spazzole, cuscinetti, ingranaggi, etc. o altre necessità rivolgersi ai
Centri di Assistenza autorizzati.
SICUREZZA ELETTRICA - BASSA TENSIONE
Le prove/verifiche sono state eseguite in accordo alle norme:

FORMAZIONE DI RUMORE
Il livello equivalente di pressione sonora (rumorosità) è di:
77,5 dB(A) per SSPF - SSCA, misurati secondo le norme EN ISO 3744
+UNI EN ISO 11202.
Attenzione: indossare adeguati presidi per la difesa dell'udito!

GARANZIA
Tutte le macchine costruite dalla RUPES Spa sono garantite per 12 me-
si dalla data di acquisto contro difetti di materiale e di fabbricazione.
Le macchine devono essere utilizzate esclusivamente con accessori
e ricambi originali RUPES: si declina ogni responsabilità per danni o
incidenti provocati dall’inosservanza della presente norma che causa
anche il decadimento della garanzia.
La garanzia decade qualora non vengano rispettate le prescrizioni
del presente libretto o qualora venga fatto uso improprio della mac-
china. Decade altresì se la macchina viene smontata o manomessa o
se vi sono evidenti danni derivanti da cattiva cura della stessa.
La garanzia è subordinata alla compilazione del tagliando riporta-
to sull’ultima pagina di copertina del presente libretto d'istruzioni.
In caso di accertato malfunzionamento la macchina, accompagnata
dal certificato di garanzia, dovrà essere consegnata o spedita franco
di porto, non smontata e nell'imballo originale, al fabbricante o ad un
Centro di Assistenza autorizzato riportato nell'elenco allegato al pre-
sente libretto. In ogni caso la garanzia non dà diritto alla sostituzione
della macchina. La RUPES Spa si riserva di apportare qualsiasi modifi-
ca alle caratteristiche tecniche o estetiche dei propri prodotti senza
preavviso. Non si assume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali errori
di stampa. Il presente stampato annulla e sostituisce i precedenti.

9. Il doppio quadrato indica che la macchina è in doppio isola-

12. Il prodotto, in ottemperanza alla Direttiva Europea
2002/96/CE (RAEE) + 2003/108/CE e alla sua attuazione nel

esse smaltito presso i centri di raccolta differenziata autorizza-

SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION INSTRUCTIONS
The safety and accident prevention instructions are reported in the
“SAFETY INSTRUCTION” booklet which forms an integral part of
these documents; the operating instructions indicate the additional
information required specifically for use of the tool.
Never use the tools without the safety guards.
Any operations carried out on the tool must be effected with the power
supply disconnected.
Before starting the tool, ensure that it is held tightly and not in contact
with the work surface.
Wear clothing suited to the work you are about to perform.
The electric tool must be connect to a suitable dust extraction unit
(not supplied): use regulation safety devices for personal protection
and observe safety norms valid for the processed work material.
Due to risks that may arise during polishing, we recommend the con-
stant use of P.S.D. (personal safety devices such as gloves, headpho-
nes, goggles, face masks, etc.) according to laws in force to prevent
or reduce accident probability.
Warning! the appliance continues to work for a few seconds after it
has been switched off!
CORRECT USAGE
The sanders are designed for sanding wood, plastic, composite
materials, paint/varnish, filling material and similar materials.
Metal and materials with an asbestos content must not be processed
with these tools.
The machine must not be operated in humid environments or in the
presence of flammable gas or liquids.
Make sure the work piece is sufficiently fastened.
In the event of improper use, the user is fully liable for any damages or
accidents.
GENERAL WARNINGS
The tool must be connected to a suitable dust extraction system (not supplied).

SAFETY WARNINGS APPLICABLE TO POLISHING OPERATIONS
If the use of an electrical tool in a damp area cannot be avoided,
use a power supply fitted with a differential switch (RCD).
This type of switch reduces the risk of electrical shocks.

STARTING UP
Before starting-up the tool, ensure that:
- the packaging is complete and does not show signs of having been
damaged during storage or transport;
- the tool is complete; check that the number and type of
components comply with that reported in this instruction booklet;
- the power supply and socket outlet can support the load reported in
the table and that indicated on the tool identification plate
reproduced and explained on page 11.
ASSEMBLING THE TOOL
Fit the auxiliary handle (4) to the tool using the screw supplied (5);
SSPF:
Place the protective filter (10) in its box (9) and push fit the complete
unit on the body of the tool.
SSCA:
Assemble the plate-turbine connecting pipe (13) which has a push fit;
mount the dust collecting bag (14).
INSERTING THE ABRASIVE PAPER
SSPF - SSCA DRILLED RUBBER PLATE VERSION
- Repeat this operation
- punch the paper using the tool supplied (8).
SSPF - SO31TE VELCROED DRILLED RUBBER PLATE VERSION
- Press che velcro backed paper in position, ensuring that the holes
in the paper coincide with the suction holes in the plate;
- Lift-up the paperclip (7) pushing the flaps and place the abrasive
paper (SO31TE)
BEFORE STARTING THE TOOL
Ensure that:
- the power supply conforms with the characteristics of the tool;
- the power supply cable and plug are in perfect condition;
- the ON/OFF switch works properly though with the power supply
disconnected;
- all the parts of the tool have been assembled in the proper manner
and that there are no signs of damage;
- the ventilation slots are not obstructed (11);
- the tool must be connected to a suitable and efficient dust
extraction system.
STARTING AND STOPPING
- Starting: push the slide of the ON/OFF switch (2) forward.
- Stopping: return the switch (2) to its original position.
TEST RUN
Start the tool and check that there are no unusual vibration and that
the paper is kept out. Otherwise switch-off the tool Immediately
and eliminate the cause.
REPLACING ABRASIVE PAPER
SSPF - SSCA DRILLED RUBBER PLATE VERSION
- Lift the paper clamping lever (7) by pressing the release device and
remove the used paper;
- insert the new abrasive paper following the instructions in the
chapter on “INSERTING THE ABRASIVE PAPER”.

- Rip off the used paper;
- press the new velcro backed paper in position, ensuring that the
holes in the paper coincide with the suction holes in the plate.
USABLE ABRASIVE PAPER
- Sheets of abrasive paper for orbital sanders;
- punched velcroed sheets of abrasive paper for suitable models.
MAINTENANCE
All maintenance operations are carried out with the power supply
disconnected.
- Periodically check the tightness of the screws in the corners of the
upper part of the plate (6);
- at the end of each work session, or when required, clean the motor
ventilation slot protective filter and remove any dust from the body
of the tool using a jet of compressed air, paying particular attention
to the motor ventilation slots;
- for the SSCA version, empty the dust collection bags.
No other maintenance operations must be undertaken by the user.
Maintenance and cleaning of the inner parts, like brushes, ball
bearings, gears etc. or others, must be carried out only by an
authorized customer-service workshop.
ATTENTION!
In order to have a good working
of the tool, we recommend to lock,
after some hours of work,
the four screws that tighten
the rubber plate (see drawing).
ELECTRIC SAFETY - LOW TENSION
The tests have been carried out in accordance with the standard:
EN 60745-1 safety of hand-held electric motor operated tools
EN 60745-2-4 particular requirements for sanders.
RADIO SUPPRESSION
The tools are suppressed in accordance for the prevention and
elimination of radio disturbances measured in accordance with
standard: EN55014-1+EN55014-2; EN61000-3-2+EN61000-3-3.
NOISE
The noise level produced is:
77,5 dB for SO31TE; 84,5 dB for SSPF; SSCA
measured according to regulation EN ISO 3744 + UNI EN ISO 11202.
Warning: wear suitable hearing protections! (see warnings).
MEAN ACCELERATION VALUE
The mean quadratic acceleration value is less than 2,5 m/sec2
measured in accordance with standard UNI EN 28662 + UNI EN ISO
5349.
GUARANTEE
All tools manufactured by RUPES Spa are guaranteed for 12 months
from the date of purchase against fabrication and material defects.
All tools must be used only with RUPES original accessories and spa-
re parts: we refuse all responsibility for damages or accidents cau-
sed by non-observance of this rule which will also cause the termina-
tion of the guarantee.
The guarantee will no longer be valid if the instructions contained in
this booklet are not followed, if the tool is used for purposes other
than that for which it is intended, if it is dismantled, interfered with in
any way or damaged due to neglect.
The guarantee will be made valid by filling-in the form on the
inside back cover of this instruction booklet.
If the tool is found to be defective or malfunctions, it should be retur-
ned carriage free in one piece in its original packing together with the
guarantee certificate to the manufacturer or to one of the Assistance
Centres listed in the appendix to this booklet.
The guarantee does not automatically imply replacement of the tool.
RUPES Spa reserves the right to make any technical or design modi-
fication to its products without prior notice.
The manufacturer is not liable for any print errors. This document
voids and replaces previous ones.

RECOMMANDATIONS GENERALES
La machine doit fonctionner reliée à un système d’aspiration approprié (non fourni).
INSTRUCTIONS RELATIVES A LA SECURITE
ET A LA PROTECTION CONTRE LES ACCIDENTS DU TRAVAIL
Les instructions relatives à la sécurité et à la protection contre les
accidents du travail sont contenues dans le fascicule "INDICATIONS
RELATIVES A LA SECURITE" qui fait partie intégrante de la présente
documentation; le livret d'instructions relatives à l'utilisation indique
uniquement les informations complémentaires qui sont étroitement
linées à l'utilisation spécifique de la machine. Ne jamais faire
fonctionner les outils sans avoir monté les dispositifs de protection.
Chaque opération effectuée sur la machine ait lieu aprés que la fiche
ait étè dèbranchèe. Avant sa mise en marche, la machine soit
empoignée solidement et qu’elle ne soit pas en contact avec la
surface de travail. Portez des vêtements adaptés au travail que vous
devez exécute. En cas de poussières nocives pour la santé, il faut
connecter l’outil électrique à un dispositif d’aspiration (non fourni):
protéger les voies respiratoires à l'aide de dispositifs conformes aux
règlements et respecter les mesures de sécurité applicables au
matériau en cours d'usinage. A cause des risques qui peuvent
survenir durant le ponçage, il est conseillé de toujours utiliser tous les
D.P.I. (dispositifs de protection individuels tels que gants, oreillettes,
lunettes de protection, masques de protection des voies respiratoires,
etc.) selon les normes en vigueur pour prévenir ou réduire les risques
d'accidents.
Attention ! L'outil continue à fonctionnner pendant quelques secon-
des après l'arrêt!
UTILISATION CONFORME
Les ponceuses sont destinées au ponçage du bois, des matières
synthétiques, des matériaux composites, de la peinture / du vernis,
du mastic et des matériaux similaires. Les métaux et du matériau
comportant de l’amiante ne doivent pas être usinés. La machine ne
doit jamais fonctionner ni dans une ambiance humide ni en présence
de gaz ou de liquides inflammables. Contrôler que le poids de la
pièce à travailler est suffisamment fixé. En cas d'utilisation non
conforme aux buts prévus, l'utilisateur sera tenu responsable des
éventuels dommages et accidents.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE SPECIFIQUES POUR LES OPERATIONS
DE POLISSAGE
Si l’utilisation d’un outil électrique dans un lieu humide est inévitable,
utiliser une alimentation protégée par un interrupteur différentiel
(RCD).
L’utilisation d’un interrupteur différentiel (RCD) réduit le risque de déchar-
ge électrique.

MISE EN SERVICE
Avant de mettre la machine en service, s'assurer que:
- l'emballage est intègre et qu'il ne montre aucun signe d'endommage-
ments dus au transport et au stockage;
- la machine est complète; s'assurer que le nombre et la nature des com-
posants sont conformes aux indications contenues dans le présent livret
d'instructions;
- la source d'énergie et les prises de courant à disposition peuvent sup-
porter la charge indiquée dans le tableau et sur la plaquette d'identifica-
tion de la machine, dont le fac-similé et les explications relatives sont
fournis page 15.
MONTAGE DE LA MACHINE
Monter la poignée auxiliaire (4) à l’aide de la vis prèvue à cet effet (5 );
SSPF: Placer le filtre de protection (10) dans la boîte (9) puis monter par
pression l’ensemble sur le corps de la machine.
SSCA:Monter par pression le tuyau de raccord plaque-turbine (13);
monter le sac à poussière (14).
MONTAGE DU PAPIER ABRASIF
SSPF - SSCA VERSION PLAQUE CAOUTCHOU PERFORÉE
- Répéter les opérations précédentes;
- percer le papier avec l’outil (8).
SSPF - SO31TE VERSION PLAQUE CAOUTCHOU PERFORÉE A VELCRO
- appliquer le feuille de papier à velcro par pression en veillant à ce que
les trous du papier correspondent aux trous d’aspiration qui se trouvent
sur la plaque;
- Appuyer sur les pinces et placer le papier abrasif (SO31TE)
AVANT LA MISE EN SERVICE
S'assurer que:
- la source d’énergie est conforme aux caractéristiques de la machine;
- le câble d’alimentation et la fiche relative sont en parfait état;
- l’interrupteur de mise en marche/arrêt est efficace en agissant
cependant lorsque la fiche est débranchée;
- tous les composants de la machine sont montés correctement et ne pré-
sentent pas de signes d’endommagement;
- les fentes de ventililation ne sont pas bouchées (11);
- la machine soit relièe à un dispositif d’aspiration appropriè et efficace.
MISE EN MARCHE ET ARRET
- Mise en marche: pousser vers l’avant le coulisseau de l’interrupteur (2).
- Arrêt: ramener l’interrupteur (2) en arrière.
FONCTIONNEMENT D'ESSAI
Mettre la machine en marche et s’assurer qu’il n’y a pas de vibrations
anomales et que le papier reste bien tendu.
Dans le cas contraire, énteindie la machine immédiatement et
éliminer les anomalies.
REMPLACEMENT DU PAPIER ABRASIF
SSPF - SSCA VERSION PLAQUE CAOUTCHOU PERFORÉE
- Soulever les leviers de blocage du papier (7) en appuyant sur les lan-
guettes prévues à cet effet;
- retirer le papier usé;
-mettre le papier neuf en suivant les instructions fournies au chapitre
“MONTAGE DU PAPIER ABRASIF”.

VELCRO
- Arracher le feiulle de papier usée;
- appliquer par pression la nouvelle feuille de papier à velcro en
veillant à ce que les trous du papier correspondent aux trous
d’aspiration qui se trouvent sur la plaque.
OUTILS DE TRAVAIL ADMIS
- Feuilles de papier abrasif pour ponceuses orbitales;
- feuilles de papier perforée á velcro pour les versions prédisposées.
ENTRETIEN
Toutes le opérations doivent être effectuées à fiche étant débranchée.
- Contrôler périodiquement le serrage des vis situées sur la partie
supérieure de la plaque (6), au niveau des angles;
- à la fin du travail et en cas de nécessitè, nettoyer le filtre de
protection des fentes du moteur et dépoussiérer le corps de la
machine à l’aide d’un jet d’air comprimé en accordant une attention
particulière au nettoyage des fentes de ventilation du moteur;
- pour SSCA: vider le sac à poussière.
Aucune autre intervention de l’utilisateur n’est pas admise.
Tous les travaux d’entretien et les travaux de polissage des piéces
internes, comme les brosses, coussinet, engrenages, etc., doivent
être effectuer par un Atelier de Réparation autorisé.
ATTENTION!
Pour un bon fonctionnement
de l’outil on recommande après
quelques heures de travail
de serrer les quatre vis qui
serrent le plateau caoutchou
(voir figure).
SECURITE ELECTRIQUE - BASSE TENSION
Les proves/verifies out eté executés en accord a les normes:

Les machines sont conformes à les effets de la prévention et des
parasites radio mesures en accord a les normes EN55014-

FORMATION DU BRUIT
Le niveau équivalent de la pression sonore (niveau de bruit) est de:
77,5 dB (A) pour SO31TE; 84,5 dB (A) pour SSPF + SSCA mesurés
conformément aux normes EN ISO 3744 + UNI EN ISO 11202.

VALEUR MOYENNE DE L'ACCELERATION
La valeur quadratique moyenne de l'accèlération est inférieure à

GARANTIE
Toutes les machines construites par la Société RUPES Spa sont ga-
ranties pendant 12 mois à compter de la date d’achat contre les dé-
fauts matériau et de fabrication.
Les machines ne doivent être utilisées qu'avec les pièces détachées
et les accessoires originaux RUPES: nous déclinons toute responsa-
bilité en cas d'accidents ou de dégâts matériels provoqués par le
non-respect de cette norme, qui entraînera en outre l'annulation de la
garantie.
La garantie prend fin en cas de non-respect des prescriptions du pré-
sent livret ou en cas d’utilisation impropre de la machine. Elle prend
fin également si la machine est démontée ou modifiée ou en cas de
dommages évidents dérivant d’un mauvais entretien.
La garantie est subordonnée au remplissage du coupon qui se
trouve à la dernière page de couverture du présent livret d’in-
structions.
En cas de mauvais fonctionnement, la machine, accompagnée de
son certificat de garantie, devra être remise ou envoyée en port payé,
non démontée et dans son emballage d’origine, au fabricant ou à un
Centre d’Assistance agrée indiqué sur la liste annexée au présent li-
vret. La garantie ne donne pas en aucun cas droit au remplacement
de la machine. RUPES Spa se réserve le droit de modifier sans préa-
vis les caractéristiques techniques ou esthétiques des ses produits.
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité quant aux erreurs d'impression
éventuelles. Ce document annule et remplace tous les précédents.

ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE
Die genannten Gerätes dürfen nur zusammen mit einer passenden Staubabsaugung betrieben werden (kein Lieferbestandteil).
SICHERHEITS- UND UNFALLVERHÜTUNGSVORSCHRIFTEN
Die Sicherheits- und Unfallverhütungsvorschriften sind im
beiliegenden Helft "HINWEISE ZUR SICHERHEIT" enthalten, welches
vollwertiger Bestandteil der vorliegenden Dokumentation ist. Diese
Gebrauchsanleitung nennt daher nur die Zusatzinformationen, die
den spezifischen Einsatz dieses Gerätes betreffen. Alle Arbeiten an
der Maschine nur bei gezogenem Netzstecker ausführen. Werkzeuge
niemals ohne aufmontierte Schutzvorrichtungen betreiben. Die
Maschine vor dem Einschalten fest in der Hand halten. Sie darf die zu
bearbeitende Fläche nicht berühren. Tragen Sie für die
durchzuführenden Arbeiten geeignete Kleidung. Sollte sich während
des Schleifens gesundheitsschädlicher Staub bilden, muss das Gerät
an eine geeignete Absauganlage angeschlossen werden (nicht im
Lieferumfang enthalten): Schützen Sie die Atemwege mit den
gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Vorrichtungen und halten Sie sich an die
für das jeweils zu bearbeitende Material geltenden
Sicherheitsvorschriften. Aufgrund der mit dem Schleifen verbundenen
Risiken wird empfohlen, entsprechend den geltenden Richtlinien zur
Unfallverhinderung bzw. -reduzierung stets die gesamte P.S.A.
(persönliche Schutz-Ausrüstung, wie zum Beispiel Handschuhe,
Ohrschützer, Schutzbrillen, Atemschutzmaske, usw.) zu tragen.
Achtung! Das Werkzeug läuft nach dem Ausschalten noch für einige
Sekunden weite!
BESTIMMNGSGEMÄßE VERWENDUNG
Bestimmungsgemäß sind die Schleifer zum Schleifen von Holz,
Kunststoff, Verbundwerkstoff, Farbe / Lack, Spachtelmasse und
ähnlichen Werkstoffen vorgesehen.
Metall und asbesthaltiges Material dürfen nicht bearbeitet werden.
Wergen der elektrischen Sicherheit, dürfen die Maschinen nicht
feucht sein und nicht in feuchter Umgebund betrieben werden.
Die Maschine darf nicht in feuchten Umgebungen oder bei
Vorhandensein von Gas oder entflammbaren Flüssigkeiten verwendet
werden. Überprüfen, ob das Werkstück ausreichend befestigt ist.
Wird das Gerät für nicht vorgesehene Zwecke benutzt, übernimmt der
Benutzer jede Verantwortung für eventuelle Schäden oder Unfälle.

SPEZIFISCHE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE FÜR DIE SCHLEIFVORGÄNGE
Wenn der Einsatz eines Elektrowerkzeugs an einem feuchten Ort ni-
cht vermieden werden kann, eine durch einen Fehlerstromschutz-
schalter (RCD) geschützte Stromversorgung verwenden.
Der Einsatz eines Fehlerstromschutzschalters (RCD) mindert das
Risiko elektrischer Schläge.

INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor einer Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes sollten Sie sicherstellen:
- daß die Verpackung unversehrt ist und keine Beschädigungen durch
Transport bzw. Lagerung aufweist;
- daß das Gerät vollständig ist, also Anzahl und Art der
Gerätekomponenten mit den Angaben in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung
überein stimmen;
- daß Stromnetz und Steckdosen für die in der Tabelle bzw. auf dem
Geräteschild (vgl. Abbildung u. Beschreibung des Geräteschilds auf
Seite 19) genannte Stromlast ausgelegt sind.
ZUSAMMENBAU DER MASCHINE
Den Zusatzhandgriff (4) mit der dafür vorgesehenen Schraube (5)
anschrauben;
SSPF:
Den Staubschutzfilter (10) in das Gehäuse (9) einsetzen und dieses
durch Einrasten am Gerät befestigen.
SSCA:
Den Verbindungsschlauch von Bodenplatte und Saugturbine (13) unter
kr
äftigem Dr ücken an das Ger ät anstecken;
den Staubfangsack (14) anbringen.

- Diesen Vorgang wiederholen;
- das Papier mit dem L

- Das Haftschleifpapier auflegen und andrücken. Dabei darauf achten,
da
ß seine Löcher über den Absaugl öchern in der Bodenplatte liegen;
- Den Papierclip (7) anheben und das Schleifpapier einlegen (SO31TE).
VOR DER INBETRIEBNAHME
Stellen Sie folgende Punkte sicher:
- das Stromntez entspricht den Gerätekenndaten;
- Anschlußkabel und-Stecker sind in ordnungsgemäßem Zustand;
- der EIN/AUS- Schalter funktioniert einwandfrei. Zur Überprüfung die in
Kapitel “Inbetriebnahme” beschriebenen Schaltstellungen - allerdings
bei gezogenem Netzstecker - ausprobieren;
- Sämtliche Gerätekomponenten sind ordnungsgemäß montiert und
zeigen keine. Anzeichen von Beschädigung;
- die Lüftungsschlitze sind nicht verstopft (11);
- die Maschine muß an eine sinngemäß bemessene und funktionstüchti-
ge Staubabsaugung angeschlossen sein.
EINSCHALTEN UND AUSSCHALTEN
- Einschalten: den Schiebeschalter (2) nach vorn schieben.
- Ausschalten: den Schiebeschalter (2) zurück schieben.
TESTLAUF
Schalten Sie das Gerät ein und stellen Sie sicher, daß es nicht
ungewöhnlich vibriert und da
ß das Schleifpapier straff gespannt bleibt .
Andernfalls das Gerät sofort ausschalten und die Störung beheben.

- Die Schleifpapierklammern (7) durch Niederdrücken an den Enden
öffnen und das verbrauchte Blatt abnehmen;

SCHLEIFPAPIERS” beschrieben befestigen.

Bodenplatte (6) nachpr

- Nach der Arbeit bzw. bei Bedarf: die Staubschutzfilter der Motor-
Lüftungsschlitze reinigen und das Gerätegehäuse mit einem
Druckluftstrahl säubern. Dabei besonders die Lüftungsschlitze des
Motors berücksichtigen;
- Modell SSCA: den Staubfangsack entleeren.
Sonstige Eingriffe durch den Geräteanwender sind nicht zulässig.
Für die Wartung und die periodische Reinigung von den inneren
Teilen, z. B: Bürsten, Lagern, Zahnrädern usw. oder andere Bedürfnisse
wenden Sie sich bitte an einer autorisierten Kundendienststelle an.
ACHTUNG!
Um einie Einwandfreie
Betriebsbereitschaft der Maschine
zu Gewährleisten empfehlen wir,
die vier schrauben der
Gummischleifplatte nach
einigen Betriebsstuden
Nachzuziehen. (Siehe Zeichnung).
ELEKTRISCHE SICHERHEIT - NIEDERSPANNUNG
Die Tests wurden nach den Anforderungen der zur Zeit gültigen
Normen ausgeführt:
EN 60745-1 sicherheit für tragbare elektrisch betriebe Maschinen
EN 60745-2-4 besondere Anforderungen für Schleifmaschinen.
FUNKENTSTÖRUNG
Die Geräte erfüllen die Vorschriften der EG-Richtlinie 89/336 zur
Vorbeugung und Beseitigung von Funkstörungen Messung nach
Norm EN55014-1+EN55014-2; EN61000-3-2+EN61000-3-3.
SCHALLPEGEL
Der Schalldruckpegel (Geräuschentwicklung) der Maschine entspricht:
77,5 dB für SO31TE; 84,5 dB für SSPF + SSCA;
gemessen gemäß EN ISO 3744 + UNI EN ISO 11202.
Achtung: Während des Betriebs angemessenen Gehörschutz tra-
gen! (siehe allgemeine Hinweise)
MITTLERE BESCHLEUNIGUNG
Die mittlere quadratische Beschleunigung liegt unter 2,5 m/s2
Messung nach UNI EN 28662 + UNI EN ISO 5349.
GARANTIE
Für alle von ihr hergestellten Geräte leistet die Fa. RUPES Spa Gewähr
im von Mangeln, die innerhalb von 12 Monaten ab dem Kaufdatum auf-
grund Material-oder Fabrikationsfehlern auftreten. Die Maschinen dürfen
ausschließlich mit Originalzubehör und Originalersatzteilen von RUPES
betrieben werden: Das Unternehmen haftet nicht für Unfälle oder Schä-
den, die auf die Nichtbeachtung dieser Bestimmung zurückzuführen
sind, die außerdem zum unverzüglichen Verfall der Garantie führt. Der
Garantieanspruch entfällt bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch des Gerätes
oder der Nichteinhaltung dieser Gebrauchasanleitung. Er entfällt eben-
falls, wenn das Gerät demontiert bzw. umgerüstet wurde oder sichtbare
Schäden infolge mangelhafter Pflege aufweist. Die Inansprunchnahme
der Garantieleistung ist nur möglich, wenn der Abschnitt auf der vor-
letzten Umschlagseite dieser Gebrauchsanleitung ausgefüllt ist. Im
Fall einer nachweislichen Funktiosstörung muß das Gerät dem Herstel-
ler komplett montiert, originalverpackt und mit beiliegender Garantiekar-
te fracht und portofrei übergeben bzw. zugesendet werden. Die Überga-
be an ein autorisiertes Kundendienstzentrum (siehe beiliegendes Verzei-
chnis) ist ebenfalls möglich. In keinem Fall leitet sich aus dem Garan-
tieanspruch ein Rechtsanspruch auf die Ersetzung des Gerätes ab. Die
Fa. RUPES SpA behält sich das Recht vor, ohne Vorankündigung techni-
sche und ästhetische Änderungen an ihren Produkten vorzunehmen.
Das Unternehmen haftet nicht für eventuelle Druckfehler. Vorliegendes
Dokument annulliert und ersetzt alle früheren Veröffentlichungen.

La máquina debe funcionar conectada con un adecuado sistema de aspiración (no suministrado).
INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA SEGURIDAD
Y LA PREVENCION DE ACCIDENTES
Las instrucciones para la seguridad y la prevención de accidentes se
ilustran en el opúsculo "INDICACIONES PARA LA SEGURIDAD" que
forma parte de la presente documentación. El manual de
instrucciones para el uso ilustra solamente aquellas informaciones
adicionales estrictamente relacionadas con el uso especifico de la
máquina. No hacer funcionar nunca las herramientas sin montados
los dispositivos de protección. Que cada operación en la máquina
sea ejecutada con el enchufe desconectado. Que antes de
accionarla, la máquina estè firmemente empuñada y no estè contacto
con la superficie de trabajo. Llevar prendas adecuadas para el trabajo
que se va a realizar. Cuando durante el lijado se produzcan polvos
perjudiciales a la salud, la herramienta eléctrica deberá conectarse a
un dispositivo aspirador apropiado (no suministrado): proteger las
vías respiratorias con dispositivos conformes a las normas de ley y
ajustarse a las disposiciones de seguridad valederas para el material
con el cual se está trabajando. Debido a los riesgos que pueden
surgir durante el alisado, se recomienda utilizar siempre todos los
D.P.I. (dispositivos de protección individuales, como guantes, cascos,
gafas protectoras, caretas para proteger las vías respiratorias, etc.)
conforme a las normas de ley vigentes a fin de precaver o reducir las
posibilidades de accidentes.
¡Atención! La herramienta ¡sigue funcionando por unos segundos
después del apagado!
USO CONFORME A LO DETERMINADO
En cuanto a su determinación de uso, las lijadoras están previstas
para el lijado de madera, plástico, materiales compuestos,
pintura/barniz/ nogalina, masilla de emplaste y materials similares.
Con este útil no se deben trabajar metales ni materiales que
