Assembly Instructions
Thistleton Garden Seat

Before you commence the assembly process we recommend that you read these instructions
thoroughly beforehand to familiarise yourself with the assembly process and to also check that you have
the correct components. If for any reason you need assistance, you can find our contact details on the
final page of these instructions.
We highly recommend that any assembly is carried out on a flat, level surface if possible and that you
use another person to assist you if necessary.

2 x End frames
1 x Seat (4 slats)
1 x Back Rest (5 slats)
8 x 70mm Coach screws
4 x 65mm Screws
8 x Cover caps
10mm socket or spanner
Electric screwdriver with No2 Pozidrive bit
Or No2 Pozidrive Screwdriver

Step 2
Ensure that you have all of the correct parts as listed
on the front page of these instructions, including any
fixings.
On a flat, level surface, slot the seat panel into one of
the end frames as shown above.

Step 4
Now lift up the other side of the seat panel to locate
the other end in place. (It is recommend you use an
assistant for this step if possible).
Align the seat panel flush with the front edge of the
end frame as shown and secure in place using 2 of
the 65mm screws. Repeat for the other end panel.

Working from underneath the seat panel use 2 x
70mm coach screws to attach the seat panel to the
end frame and then repeat for the other end panel.
Locate the back rest panel in position with its battens
between the end panel uprights and the upper edge
of the batten flush with the top of the upright. Secure
in place using 2 x 70mm coach screws in each end. (It
is recommend you use an assistant for this step if
possible).
Step 7
Cover any exposed screws heads with the cover caps
provided. Your Thistleton bench is now complete.
