WARNING
This router table can use Router ERT-1500V,
ERT-1150V, ERT-1150VN, ERT-2100V.Do not
use cutters with undersized shanks. Undersized
shanks will not tighten properly and could be
thrown from the tool, causing injury.
INTRODUCTION
Your router table has many features for making router
operations more pleasant and enjoyable. Safety,
performance, and dependability have been given top
priority in the design of this router table making it easy to
maintain and operate.
CAUTION:
Carefully read through this entire Operator's
Manual and the entire router Operator’s Manual
before using your new router table. Pay close
attention to the Rules for Safe Operation and all
Safety Alert Symbols including Danger, Warning,
and Caution. If you use your router table properly
and only for what it is intended, you will enjoy
years of safe, reliable service.
The operation of any tool can result in
foreign objects being thrown into your
eyes, which can result in severe eye
damage. Before beginning power tool
operation, always wear safety goggles or
safety glasses with side shields and a full face shield
when needed. We recommend Wide Vision Safety Mask
for use over eyeglasses or standard safety glasses with
side shields.
RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
QKnow your power tool. Safe operation of this
power tool requires that you read and understand
this operator’s manual, the Operator’s Manual for
the router and all labels affixed to the tool. Learn the
applications and limitations as well as the potential
hazards.
WARNING
Do not connect your router or router table to a
power source until you have assembled and
adjusted the router table as described in this
manual and have read and understood all
precautions and operating instructions in the
manual and printed on the tool.
WARNING
When using electric tools, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
Use common sense. Some of these basic safety
precautions include the following:
QAlways keep all guards in place and in good
working order.
QRemove adjusting keys and wrenches. Get in the
habit of checking to see that hex keys and adjusting
wrenches are removed from the tool before turning it
on.
QKeep the work area clean. Cluttered work areas and
work benches invite accidents.
QDo not use in dangerous environments. Do not
use power tools near gasoline or other flammable
liquids, in damp or wet locations, or expose them to
rain. Keep the work area well lit.
QKeep children away from power tools. All visitors
should be kept at a safe distance from the work area.
QMake the workshop child-proof with padlocks and
master switches or by removing starter keys.
QDo not force the tool. It will do the job better and
safer at the rate for which it was designed.
QUse the right tool. Do not force the tool or
attachment to do a job for which it was not designed.
QWear proper apparel. Do not wear loose clothing,
gloves, neckties, rings, bracelets, or other jewelry that
could get caught in moving parts. Non-slip footwear
is recommended. Wear protective covering over long
hair.
QAlways wear safety glasses with side shields.
Everyday eyeglasses have only impact resistant
lenses; they are not safety glasses.
QProtect your lungs.Wear a face or dust mask if the
cutting operation is dusty.
QProtect your hearing. Wear ear muffs or plugs
during periods of extended use.
QSecure the work. Use clamps or a vise to hold the
work when practical. It’s safer than using your hand
and frees both hands to operate the tool.
QDo not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times.
QMaintain the tool with care. Keep blades sharp and
clean for the best and safest performance. Follow
instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
QDisconnect power tools before servicing or before
changing accessories such as blades, bits and
cutters.

RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
QReduce the risk of unintentional starting. Make
sure switch is in the OFF position before plugging in
the tool.
QUse only the manufacturer’s recommended
accessories. Consult this operator’s manual
for recommended accessories. Using improper
accessories may cause risk of injury.
QNever stand on tool. Serious injury could occur
if the tool is tipped or if the blade is unintentionally
contacted.
QPeriodically check for worn or damaged parts.
Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of
moving parts, breakage of parts, loose mounting
brackets, and any other conditions that may affect
operation. A guard or any other part that is damaged
should be properly repaired or replaced. Before the
tool is used again, make sure that the repaired or
replaced part is operating properly and performing its
intended function.
QDirection of feed. Feed work into a blade or cutter
against the direction of rotation of the blade or cutter
only.
QNever leave tool running unattended. Turn the
power off. Do not leave tool until it comes to a
complete stop.
QDo not abuse cord. Never yank the cord to
disconnect it from the socket. Keep the cord from
heat, oil, and sharp edges.
QKeep bits clean and sharp. Sharp bits minimize
stalling. Dirty and dull bits may cause misalignment of
the material and possible operator injury.
QKeep hands away from cutting area. Keep hands
away from the bit. Do not reach underneath table or
in the cutting path with your hands or fingers at any
time while tool is connected to power source.
QFirmly clamp or bolt your router table to a
workbench so the router table surface is at
approximately hip height.
QKeep tool dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.
Always use a clean cloth when cleaning. Never use
brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, or
any solvents to clean tool.
QStay alert. Never operate a power tool when tired
or while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
QDo not use tool if switch does not turn it on
and off. Have defective switches replaced by an
authorized service center.
QAlways turn switch off before disconnecting it to
avoid accidental starting.
QSave these instructions. Refer to them frequently
and use to instruct other users. If you loan someone
this tool, loan them these instructions also.
WARNING
Some dust created by power sanding, sawing,
grinding, drilling, and other construction activities
contains chemicals known to cause cancer,
birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some
examples of these chemicals are:
Qlead from lead-based paints,
Qcrystalline silica from bricks and cement and other
masonry products.
Qchromium from chemically-treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how
often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure
to these chemicals, work in a well ventilated area, and
work with approved safety equipment, such as dust
masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic
particles.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR THE ROUTER
TABLE
QFor your own safety, read this Router Table Operator’s
Manual and the Router Operator’s Manual before
operating the tool or router table.
QFeed workpiece against rotation of cutter.
QUse overhead guard.
QDo not use awkward hand positions.
QKeep fingers away from revolving cutter - use fixtures
when necessary.
QWhen using the router on the router table, the router
must be plugged into the on-board switched outlet.
FEATURES
KNOW YOUR ROUTER TABLE
Before attempting to use your router table, familiarize
yourself with all operating features and safety
requirements.
WARNING
If any parts are missing do not use your router
table until the missing parts are replaced. Failure
to do so could result in possible serious injury.
FENCE ASSEMBLY
Provides an adjustable surface to support and guide
work. The fence may be adjusted to compensate for the
stock reduced in the cut.

FEATURES
UNDERTABLE GUARD
Ensures that your hands, loose clothing, and other
objects do not come in contact with the cutter or collet
during operation.
WARNING
The undertable guards must be securely in place
before using the router table. Failure to do so
could result in serious personal injury.
CAUTION:
Keep the cord away from the router table surface
and position the cord so that it will not be caught
on lumber, tools, or other objects during routing.
SAFETY GUARD
Provides a barrier to protect the operator from careless
contact with the cutter. The safety guard is adjustable for
all types of cuts and materials.
QThe safety guard will slide-up when the work piece is
pushed into the guard.
LIVE TOOL INDICATOR
This tool features a live tool indicator (9) which illuminates
as soon as the tool is connected to the supply. This warns
the user that the tool is connected and will operate when
the switch is pressed.

ASSEMBLY
LEG ASSEMBLY (Fig. 1)
QPlace router table upside down on a flat, level surface,
so that the front edge is closest to you. Position legs
as shown.
QAlign the four holes in each leg with the four
corresponding threaded holes in each corner of the
table.
SWITCH BOX ASSEMBLY (Fig. 2)
QHold the switch box so that the words ON (“I”) and
OFF (“O”) are aligned vertically (On ‘on top’ Off
‘below’).
QCarefully screw the switch box underneath the router
table with the screws provided.
BIT STORAGE ASSEMBLY (Fig. 3)
QCarefully screw the bit storage underneath the router
table with the screws provided.
QYou can store the router bits in the storage. Hole
diameter is 8mm / 5/16”
UNDERTABLE GUARD ASSEMBLY (Fig. 4)
QLocate the undertable guard. Position around the
throat of the table so that the three holes of the guard
line up with the three threaded holes in the table and
securely attach using bolts provided.
FENCE ASSEMBLY (Fig. 5)
QTurn the fence assembly over and locate the four
small circular tabs. Position the fence on the router
table so that the tab engage on each channel of the
table.
QLocate the two nuts and fence lock knobs.
Position a square nut inside the channel located
underneath the table. Insert the lock knob through
the hole in the fence assembly and screw it into the
square nut below. Repeat for the other side.

ASSEMBLY
PRESSURE CLAMP ASSEMBLY (Fig. 6)
PRESSURE CLAMP
QScrew the small guard post securely into one of the
threaded holes on the top of the left / right side of the
fence.
QLoosen the black color lock screw by turning the screw
counterclockwise.
QSlide the connection ring over the small guard post
and tighten lock screw.
Note: Set the proper height between the press
plate and the wood piece before routing.
MITRE GAUGE / FEATHER
BOARD ASSEMBLY (Fig. 7)
MITRE GAUGE
QAssemble protractor and gauge.
QPosition the pointer so that it is perpendicular to the
scale on the protractor. Locate the #6 pan head screw
and feed it through the hole in the pointer and into the
threaded hole in the protractor. Tighten using a flat
head screwdriver.
QSlide entire mitre gauge assembly into mitre gauge
track.
FEATHER BOARD
QPlace the router table right side up with the front edge
closest to you.
QPosition the feather board on the table with the two
black knobs facing you.
QAlign the knob with the appropriate holes in the table
and screw in to secure feather board. For smaller
workpieces use the holes nearest the cutter.
WARNING
Failure to unplug your router table could result
in accidental starting causing possible serious
personal injury.
WARNING
Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry when
operating table mounted router. They could get
caught in moving parts causing serious injury.
Keep head away from router and routing area.
Hair could be drawn into rotating bit causing
serious injury.
ATTACH ROUTER TO TABLE (Fig. 8)
QCarefully turn the table right side up and check to
make sure it rests on all four legs and does not rock.
Locate the nine counter sunk holes surrounding the
throat of the table.
QUsing a screw driver, remove the screws holding
the plate to the base of the router and retain. Do not
discard the base plate or screws as they may be
required for future use when routing by hand.
QWith the base plate removed from the router, hold the
router upside down so that the flat edge of the router
base is facing the front of the table. Align holes in the
table with the corresponding thread holes in the base
of the router. Holding the router with one hand, use
the other hand to securely tighten each screw.

MOUNTING TO A STABLE WORK
SURFACE (Fig. 9 & 10)
QPlace the router table right side up with the front edge
closest to you.
WARNING
All four legs must be securely bolted to a stable
worksurface. Failure to heed this warning could
result in serious personal injury.
WARNING
Check extension cords before each use. If
damaged,replace immediately. Never use
tool with a damaged cord since touching the
damaged area could cause electrical shock,
resulting in serious injury.
OPERATION
WARNING
Your router or router table should never
be connected to a power supply when you
are assembling parts, making adjustments,
installing or removing cutters, or when not in
use. Disconecting your router table will prevent
accidental starting that could cause serious
injury.

OPERATION
INSTALL/CHANGE CUTTER
QUnplug your router and router table.
WARNING
Failure to unplug your router table could result in
accidental starting causing serious injury.
WARNING
To prevent damage to the spindle or spindle lock,
always allow motor to come to a complete stop
before engaging spindle lock.
QRemove hex cap screws securing the rear undertable
guard to the table. Take guard out of the way,
exposing the spindle.
QFollow the instructions on Installing/Removing Cutters
found in your Operator’s Manual.
WARNING
Do not attempt to use any other router with this
table. Failure to heed this warning could result
in improper operation of the tool and serious
personal injury.
QReturn the undertable guard to its proper position
and secure by inserting and tightening hex screws
previously removed.
WARNING
If you are changing a cutter immediately after
use, be careful not to touch the cutter or collet
with your hands or fingers. They will get burned
because of the heat buildup from cutting. Always
use the wrench provided.
WARNING
Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses
with side shields during power tool operation or
when blowing dust. If operation is dusty, also
wear a dust mask.
SET CUTTING DEPTH
QSet the cutter depth as per instructions provided with
your router.
SELECT AND INSERT THROAT PLATE (Fig. 11)
QRouter table is shipped with an assortment of five
circular throat plates. The throat plate provides a
stable surface around the cutter and prevents objects
from falling through the throat and damaging the
spindle.
QThe selection of the proper size throat plate depends
on the size and shape of the cutter you are using.
When inserted, the throat plate opening should be
within approximately 1/4” of the outer most edge of
the cutter.
QTo insert the throat plate, position the throat plate over
the throat opening in the router table and snap throat
plate down.To remove throat plate, pull gently until
the throat plate snaps out.
POSITION THE FENCE OR
MITRE GAUGE (Fig. 12)
For any router operation, you will use either the fence
or the mitre gauge to help guide your work through the
cutter.
QTo position the fence: Loosen the fence lock knobs by
turning them counterclockwise. Loosen the fence lock
knobs just enough so that the fence moves freely.
Position the fence the proper distance from the cutter
based on the amount of material you plan to remove.
Tighten the fence lock knobs.
QTo position the mitre gauge: Simply loosen the mitre
gauge lock knob, rotate the mitre to the desired angle,
and retighten the lock knob.
ADJUST THE STEP RISERS (Fig. 13)
QThe step risers (13), located on the outfeed side of
the fence, enable you to support your workpiece as it
exits the cutter. The step risers will provide support for
routing operations that remove up to 1/8” of material.
The step risers are adjustable in 1/32” increments.
QTo adjust the step risers loosen the two knob bolts on
the rear of the fence and push the riser forward and
toward the throat. (Fig.13).
QRetighten knob bolts and repeat as neccessary for
the opposite side.
USING THE PRESSURE CLAMP AND
FEATHER BOARD
QThe pressure clamp provide vertical support or
work pieces by holding the pieces securely to help
minimize chatter
QThe feather boards apply pressure to work piece
sideways towards router table fence providing control
of workpiece.

OPERATION
PREPARING FOR OPERATION (Fig. 14)
QUnplug the router table.
QAlways plug the router into table switched outlet.
Never plug a router table mounted router into another
power source.
QDirection of feed of the workpiece is from right to left
or from the back of the router toward the front with the
bit located in the fence opening.
WARNING
Failure to unplug your router could result in
accidental starting causing possible serious
injury.
QDirection of feed must always be so that the
workpiece is being thrust against the sharp edges of
the rotating bit.
QThe workpiece must always be tight against the
guide fence, unless a ball-bearing piloted bit is being
used. The infeed fence should be adjusted to support
the uncut workpiece while the outfeed fence should
be adjusted properly to support the workpiece after
the cut passes the router bit, compensating for the
removed stock.
FITMENT OF THE TABLE EXTENSION (Fig. 14)
QUsing the Nuts and washers provided in the bag fit
the extension bar to the table using the 2 holes at the
table ends. Ensure the male threaded end is used.
QFit both extension bars. Using the flats at the end of
each extension bar (nearest the Router table) tighten
using the spanners provided.
QSlide the extension table over the extension bars
ensuring the name is facing you, and located towards
the rear of the table.
QUsing the screws provided in the bag screw the table
to the extension bars and tighten.
QTo remove, reverse the mounting instructions.
FITMENT OF THE TABLE DUST EXTRACTION
SYSTEM
QAfter fitment of the guide piece (see separate
description).
QPlace the black part of the dust extraction module in
the centre of the guide piece and align the 4 screw
holes on the dust extraction module to the 4 screw
holes on the guide piece.
QUsing the 4 screws provided in the bag screw the
dust extraction module in place securely.
QIf using a 31mm diameter extraction hose, insert the
sleeve (14) (Fig 12) into the rear of the dust extraction
module.
QIf using a 57mm diameter hose, remove the insert
from the rear of the dust extraction module.
IMPORTANT
QLock the router switch by clamp which is provided
together with router table packaging. (Fig 15)
QAlways control the power to the router with router
table switch whenever the router is mounted on the
table.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum based products, penetrating oils, etc.
come in contact with plastic parts. They contain
chemicals that can damage, weaken, or destroy
plastic.
CAUTION:
When servicing, use only identical replacement
parts. Use of any other parts may create a
hazard or cause product damage.
WARNING
Always begin any maintenance procedure by
disconnecting the router table from the power
supply to avoid risk of serious personal injury.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
QAvoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts.
Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various
types of commercial solvents and may be damaged
by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, carbon
dust, etc.
QPeriodically check all clamps, nuts, bolts and screws
for tightness and condition. Make sure that the throat
guard, safety guard,and undertable guards are
properly positioned and securely attached.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Do not dispose of in general household
waste. Instead, dispose in an environmentally
friendly way. Contact your local recycling
centre or council for advise. Ryobi takes the
care of the environment very seriously.
