S270WP Series Optional Probes
for Waterproof Digital Thermometer Model SK-270WP
Thank you for purchasing the S270WP series optional probes.
-These probes are designed to measure temperature connecting with SK-270WP Waterproof
Digital Thermometers. Do not use it for other purposes.
-Read this manual thoroughly before using. Keep the manual in a safe place for future references
whenever necessary.

How to Use
1. Installing Probes
.While the main unit is turned off, insert the probe connector into the unit by aligning the probe
connector with the connector on the unit.
.Turn the nut of the sensor connector clockwise to secure the probe.
.To disconnect the probe, turn the nut counterclockwise and pull the sensor connector straight out.
NB:-To protect the temperature probe, make
sure that the unit is turned off before
installing or removing the probe.
-Do not install or remove the probe with a
wet hand.
Cautions
Be sure to observe the following precautions in order to use this unit correctly.
-These probes are designed for SK-270WP Waterproof Digital Thermometers. Do not connect them
to the other thermometers.
-Be sure to use these probes within the specified measurement range. Using it outside the specified
measurement range will result in failure or damage.
-Be careful not to burn yourself when you keep measuring an object with high temperature, because
stem and grip of the probe are made of the stainless steel and these become hot.
-The penetration type probe has a sharp pointed tip so that it can penetrate into the measuring object.
Handle these probes with due care as this tip could cause accidental injuries.
-Never disassemble or modify this unit. Doing so may result in failure.
-Do not apply impact to it. Doing so may result in failure.
-For accurate measurement, wash out a stain with water after measurement. Wipe any moisture off
with a dry cloth.

2. Care to handle the probes
Do not forcibly pull, bend, or bundle the sensor cord. Properly use the probes with care. Otherwise,
sensing stem and the cord may also damage it. Never do the following use.
Do not insert the sensing stem into object with
pressing the sensor cord of the grip with palm.
Do not bundle the sensor cord with tape on to
the grip.
Caution
The probe is not an ice pick. To penetrate it into an extremely hard object such as frozen fish,
dig a hole by other tools first then insert the probe. Otherwise, the probe will be broken.
