SPECIFICATIONS
A digital desktop discussion microphone
unit is provided for use as a chairperson
version for use with a central control unit.
The digital desktop discussion microphone
unit connects to the central control unit
via the network using industry standard
Category 5 cabling (24 AWG). The unit
shall provide two buttons as control keys
to cancel/mute microphones. The unit
shall include a 15.47“ long gooseneck
microphone with a super-cardioid capsule.
A 3.5mm headphone output jack shall be
included. Twin loudspeakers are provided
in a top-mounted orientation. RJ45 jacks
for connection are provided by hidden con-
nections beneath the unit; optional strain
reliefs are provided for fixed installations.
The audio signal path shall include a digital
signal processor limiter. Operating voltage
shall be 35vDC to 52.8vDC. Maximum
power consumption shall be 3.8W. Total
harmonic distortion shall be a maximum
of 0.03% at 50mW/16 Ohms. Operating
temperature shall be +10°C to +40°C. The
unit dimensions shall be, without goo-
seneck microphone, 7.28“ x 2.48“ x 5.51“
(WxHxD). Weight shall be approximately
1.5 lbs. The digital desktop chairperson
discussion unit shall be manufactured by
Sennheiser and shall be type ADN C1.
The digital chairperson unit ADN C1
offers high speech-intelligibility in a modern design.
The gooseneck microphone is equipped with a super-
cardioid capsule that attenuates unwanted ambient
noise efficiently. A twin-loudspeaker system guarantees
a homogenous sound level in the meeting room.
The cabling of the units, which is done by CAT5 cables
and hidden connections can be optionally secured
with strain reliefs for fixed installations.
