De Raum Cont olle Contouch, im Folgenden Contouch ge
nannt, ve eint die Funktionen eines g afischen Anzeigedisplays
mit bis zu 18 Raumbedienfunktionen, eines Einzel aumtempe a
tu egle s mit Sollwe tvo gabe und Bet iebsa teneinstellung, ei
nes Tempe atu senso s und eines FanCoil Unit Bedienge ätes
in einem Busteilnehme .
De Contouch ist in den Fa bva ianten titanweiss, ca bonmetal
lic, aluminiummetallic und pianoschwa z e hältlich.
Fü den Raum Cont olle Contouch ist folgendes Zubehö e hält
lich:
Contouch FlashKit 5WG1 2048AB01
Diese FlashKit besteht aus einem Wechseldatent äge , eine
mic oSDHCKa te, mit zwei Adapte n, einem mic o SD Adapte
und einem USB mic oSD Lese .
Die Basis des Ge ätes ist ein hochwe tiges 320 x 240 Pixel Fa b
display 2,8“ mit Touchsc een und D eh ad. Dieses ve fügt übe
eine D eh/ D uckfunktion.
Bedient wi d de Contouch übe den Touchsc een und das D eh
ad. Die auf dem Display angezeigten Schaltflächen können zum
Schalten und Dimmen von Leuchten, zu Steue ung des Son
nenschutzes ode zum Ab ufen und Speiche n von Szenen ve 
wendet we den. Die Funktionen und Zustände können mit Tex
ten und Symbolen g afisch auf dem Display in 4 ve schiedenen
Designs da gestellt we den. Text und Ala mmeldungen können
ebenfalls zu Anzeige geb acht we den. Ala mmeldungen we 
den übe ein akustisches Signal und übe die LED Anzeige be
sonde s he vo gehoben. Übe den Touchsc een lässt sich die
Anzeige de Texte und Meldungen zwischen bis zu 6 Sp achen
auswählen.
De im Contouch integ ie te Raumtempe atu egle ist speziell
fü den Einsatz in Räumen ausgelegt, die geheizt und / ode ge
kühlt we den und de en Raumtempe atu egelung abhängig
von bis zu vie RaumBet iebsa ten (Komfo tbet ieb, P e
Komfo tbet ieb, Ene giespa bet ieb und Schutzbet ieb) e folgt.
Übe einen Pa amete ist bei Beda f einstellba , dass de Regle
nicht alle vie Bet iebsa ten be ücksichtigen soll sonde n nu
d ei (Komfo tbet ieb, Ene giespa bet ieb und Schutzbet ieb)
ode nu zwei (Komfo tbet ieb und Schutzbet ieb). De Raum
tempe atu egle ist als Zweipunkt egle (The mostat) ode als
stetige Regle (P, PIRegle ) einsetzba .
Auf dem Display des Contouch we den die aktuellen Raum
Bet iebsa ten, Automatik ode Handbet ieb, die Innen bzw.
Aussentempe atu , die Solltempe atu , ein geöffnetes Heiz
ode Kühlventil, Taupunktbet ieb ode geöffnete Fenste übe 
sichtlich und selbste klä end da gestellt.
Übe eine spezielle Anzeigeseite we den übe den Touchsc een
die Einstellungen zu Raumtempe atu egelung du chgefüh t.
Do t kann die RaumBet iebsa t di ekt vo O t gewählt we den.
Damit ist de Handbet ieb aktiv. Im Handbet ieb kann jede
RaumBet iebsa t daue haft aktivie t und nicht du ch ein Bus
Teleg amm geände t we den.
De Regle bietet die Möglichkeit, die Daue de Bet iebsa t Kom
fo t zu ve länge n. Dazu wi d auf diese speziellen Bedienseite
auf dem Touchsc een die Schalt
fläche „Komfo tbet iebVe länge ung“ betätigt und pe
D eh ad die Daue de Komfo tve länge ung eingestellt.
Die Einstellung de SollTempe atu e folgt auf de Anzeigeseite
zu Raumtempe atu egelung di ekt in °C/°F bezogen auf die
Raumbet iebsa t Komfo tbet ieb ode als elative We t, Ve schie
bung vom Basissollwe t in K. Übe das D eh ad des Regle s kann
de vo gegebene Sollwe t zu einem höhe en ode nied ige em
We t ve schoben we den, wobei de Be eich de Ve schiebung
einstellba ist.
Die Einstellung Automatik kann ebenfalls di ekt am Contouch
selektie t we den. Dann e hält de Regle seine Bet iebsa t übe
ein Teleg amm vom Bus ode übe das inte ne Zeitschaltp o
g amm.
Bei Räumen, welche übe eine Fan Coil Unit beheizt und /ode
gekühlt we den, kann de Contouch als Bedienge ät fü die Lüf
te steue ung eingesetzt we den.
Die aktuelle Lüfte stufe wi d auf dem Display angezeigt.
Im Handbet ieb kann man die D ehzahlstufe des Lüfte s übe
das D eh ad am Contouch einstellen.
Mit de D ehzahlstufe „0“ wi d de Lüfte ausgeschaltet und ein
ggf. geöffnetes Ventil wi d geschlossen, d.h. de Raum wi d
dann wede geheizt noch gekühlt. Wi d da aufhin de Sollwe t
fü den Hitzeschutz übe sch itten bzw. de Sollwe t fü den
F ostschutz unte sch itten, wi d bei einem stetigen Regle de
Automatikbet ieb aktiv und bei einem Zweipunkt egle de Lüf
te auf die höchste Lüfte stufe eingeschaltet. De Regle heizt
bzw. kühlt bis zum E eichen des Sollwe tes de bishe einge
stellten Bet iebsa t.
Mit de Auswahl „A“ wi d übe das D eh ad am Contouch die
Lüfte steue ung auf Automatikbet ieb gesetzt. Dann e folgt die
D ehzahlvo gabe übe die Regelung.
Mit de Bedienung des Contouch wi d die Displaybeleuchtung
eingeschaltet. Nach eine bestimmten, zu pa amet ie enden,
Zeit schaltet sich die Beleuchtung aus. Das Ge ät ist im Standby
Bet ieb.
Product and Application Description
The Contouch oom cont olle , he einafte efe ed to as Con
touch, combines the functions of a g aphic display with up to 18
oom ope ating functions, an individual oom tempe atu e con
t olle with setpoint indication and ope ating mode setting, a
tempe atu e senso and a fancoil unit cont ol panel in one bus
node.
The Contouch is available in the colou va iations titanium
white, ca bon metallic, aluminum metallic and piano black.

This flash kit consists of a emovable data ca ie , a mic o SDHC
ca d with two adapte s, a mic o SD Adapte and a USB mic o SD
eade .
The basis of the equipment is a highquality 320 x 240 pixel col
ou display 2.8" with touchsc een and ota y cont ol. This is
equipped with a ota y/pushbutton function.
Contouch is ope ated by the touchsc een and the ota y cont ol.
The buttons shown on the display can be used fo switching and
dimming lights, fo egulating sun p otection o fo the et ieval
and sto age of scenes. The functions and conditions can be
shown g aphically with texts and symbols on the display in 4 dif
fe ent designs. Text and ala m messages can also be displayed.
Ala m messages a e specially highlighted by an acoustic signal
and the LED display. The touchsc een can be used to select f om
up to 6 languages fo the display of texts and messages.
The oom tempe atu e cont olle integ ated in Contouch is spe
cially designed fo use in ooms which a e heated and / o
cooled whe e the manne of oom tempe atu e cont ol depends
on up to fou oom ope ating modes (comfo t mode, p e
comfo t mode, ene gysaving mode, and p otection mode). As
equi ed, a pa amete can be set so that the cont olle does not
conside all fou ope ating modes, but athe only th ee (com
fo t mode, ene gysaving mode and p otection mode) o only
two (comfo t mode and p otection mode). The oom tempe a
tu e cont olle can be used as a twopoint cont olle (the mo
stat) o a continuous cont olle (P o PIcont olle ).
The cu ent oom ope ating modes, automatic o manual ope a
tion, the inte io o exte io tempe atu e, the setpoint tempe a
tu e, an open heating and cooling valve, melting point ope a
tion o open windows a e clea ly shown on the display in a self
explanato y manne .
By means of a special display page, the oom tempe atu e con
t ol pa amete s can be set using the touchsc een. The e the
oom ope ating mode can be selected di ectly on site. The man
ual mode is activated in this way. In manual mode, eve y oom
ope ating mode can be pe manently activated and not changed
by a bus teleg am.
The cont olle offe s the option of extending the du ation of the
Comfo t ope ating mode. Fo this pu pose, the "Comfo t mode
extension" button is p essed on this special touchsc een ope a
to page and the length of the Comfo t mode extension set by a
ota y cont ol.
The setpoint tempe atu e is set di ectly in °C/°F on the display
page fo oom tempe atu e cont ol based on the oom ope ating
mode Comfo t mode o as a elative value, shifting f om the base
setpoint in K. The ota y cont ol of the cont olle can be used to
shift the specified setpoint to a highe o lowe value, whe eby
the ange of the offset can be adjusted.
The automatic mode setting can also be selected di ectly on the
Contouch. The the cont olle eceives its ope ating mode di
ectly by teleg am f om the bus o via the inte nal time switch
p og am.
In ooms which a e heated and / o cooled by a fan coil unit, the
Contouch can be used as a cont ol panel fo the ventilato con
t ol.
The cu ent fan speed is shown on the display.
In manual ope ation, the speed level of the fan can be set by the
ota y cont ol on the Contouch.
At speed level "0", the fan switches off and a possibly open valve
closes, i.e. the oom is then neithe heated no cooled. If the
setpoint fo heat p otection is then exceeded o the setpoint fo
f ost p otection fallen sho t of, automatic mode becomes active
in the case of a continuous cont olle and the fan is switched to
the highest fan speed if a twopoint cont olle is used. The con
t olle heats o cools until eaching the setpoint of the p evi
ously set ope ating mode.
With option "A", the Contouch ota y cont ol is used to set the
fan cont ol to automatic mode. Then the speed is specified by
the cont ol system.
The display lighting switches on when Contouch is ope ated.
The lighting switches off afte a ce tain time pe iod, which must
be configu ed. The device is in standby mode.

Fü die 18 Raumbedienfunktionen als auch fü die Einstellung

De Contouch bietet eine Putzfunktion. Wu de diese übe den
Touchsc een aktivie t, ist das Ge ät fü eine bestimmte, zu pa
amet ie ende, Zeit fü die Bedienung gespe t. Das Ge ät, ins
besonde e de Touchsc een, kann ge einigt we den ohne dabei
ungewollte Funktionen auszulösen.
Der interne Signalgeber des Contouch dient zur akustischen
Anzeige von Alarmmeldungen und kann als Rückmeldung für
eine Tastenbetätigung benutzt werden.
Mit Hilfe de ETS3 ab Ve sion 3.0f kann das Applikationsp o
g amm ausgewählt, die spezifischen Pa amete und Ad essen
ve geben und in den Raum Cont olle Contouch UP 204 übe 
t agen we den.

Montage, Verdrahtung und Inbetriebnahme
De Anschluß an die Buslinie (D1) und an die Zusatzspannung
(D2) e folgt übe sch aubenlose Steckklemmen.
Bus lemme und Versorgungs lemme abziehen
Die Busklemme (D1) und die Ve so gungsklemme (D2) befinden
sich auf de Rückseite des Busankopple s (Bild 5).
Die Busklemme bzw. die Ve so gungsklemme (Klemmen
Block) (E1) bestehen aus zwei Teilen (E1.1, E1.2) mit je vie
Klemmkontakten. Es ist da auf zu achten, dass die beiden
P üfbuchsen (E1.3) wede mit dem Busleite (ve sehentliche
Steckve such) noch mit dem Sch aubend ehe (beim Ve such
die Klemme zu entfe nen) beschädigt we den.
Den Sch aubend ehe vo sichtig in den D ahteinfüh
ungsschlitz des oten/schwa zen bzw. gelben/weißen Teils
de Klemme einfüh en und die Klemme aus dem Busan
kopple he ausziehen (Bild 6).
Hinweis
Klemmen nicht von unten he aushebeln! Ku zschlußgefah

Assembly, wiring and commissioning
The connection to the bus line (D1) and to the booste voltage
(D2) is achieved using sc ewless plugin te minals.

The bus te minal and supply te minal (te minal block) (E1)
consist of two pa ts (E1.1, E1.2), each with fou te minal con
tacts. You must take ca e that both test sockets (E1.3) a e not
damaged, eithe with the bus lead (accidental attempt to plug
in) o with the sc ewd ive (when t ying to emove the te mi
nal)..
Inse t the sc ewd ive ca efully into the wi e inse tion slot of
the ed/black o yellow/white pa t of the te minal and emove
the te minal f om the bus couple (Figu e 6).

Do not leve the te minals outwa ds f om below! Risk of sho t
ci cuit
Attach bus terminal and supply terminal
Plug the te minals into the guide g ooves of the bus couple and
push the te minals downwa ds to the end stop.

Anschließen der Bus und Versorgungsleitungen
Die Klemmen (E1) sind fü eind ähtige Leite mit 0,6 ... 0,8 mm
Ø geeignet.
Enden des Leite s (E1.4) entisolie en und in Klemme (E1) ste
cken ( ot = +, schwa z = ) bzw. (gelb = +, weiß = ) (Bild 7).
Wi d die Buslinie ve polt angeschlossen, so wi d de Busan
kopple du ch eine Schutzein ichtung abgeschaltet (Ve pol
schutz). Dies gilt ebenfalls fü die benötigte Zusatzspannung.
Ab lemmen der Bus und Versorgungsleitungen
Die Klemmen (E1) abziehen und den Leite (E1.4),
bei gleichzeitigem Hin und He d ehen, he ausziehen
(Bild 7).
Montage
De Busankopple wi d in Installationsdosen 60 mm Ø mittels
Sch aubbefestigung eingebaut (siehe Bild 8).

Hinweis:
De Busankopple ist so zu montie en, dass sich die Anwende 
schnittstelle (AST) unten befindet (siehe Bild 1 bzw. 7). Da
du ch ist siche gestellt, dass de auf die AST aufzusteckende
Contouch, in de fü die Bedienung ichtigen Lage montie t
wi d. Fü eine daue haft siche e Kontaktgabe an de AST wi d
d ingend empfohlen, den Contouch mit de Befestigungs
sch aube zu fixie en (im Ausliefe ungszustand unve sch aubt).
Inbetriebnahme
 Den Busankopple (F2) an de UPDose (F1) befestigen und
an die Busleitung bzw. an die Zusatzspannung anschließen
 Inbet iebnahmeTaste (A2) d ücken: Inbet iebnahmeLED
(A1) leuchtet auf
 Physikalische Ad esse und das pa amet ie te Applikations
p og amm mit Hilfe de ETS laden
 Contouch mittels den beiden Zent ie ungsdo nen (C1) und
de 6poligen Siftleiste (C2) auf den Busankopple aufste
cken und mit de Befestigungssch aube (G2) auf dessen

 D eh/D ückknopf (G3) auf den Contouch aufstecken
De Contouch ve fügt neben de Anwende schnittstelle übe
einen Wechseldatent äge (mic oSDHCKa te). Auf diese
Flashka te befinden sich die ve schiedenen Dateien (Fi mwa e
und definie te Konfigu ationseinstellungen) fü die Inbet ieb
nahme des Contouch, welche vom ETS PlugIn abgelegt bzw.
gene ie t wu den. Somit ist fü jede Inbet iebnahme de Wech
seldatent äge mit dem Inbet iebnahmePC zu ve binden. De
Contouch FlashKit, welche als Zubehö zum Raum Cont olle
Contouch e hältich ist, bietet neben de mic oSDHCKa te die
beiden Adapte (mic o SD Adapte bzw. USB mic oSD Lese ).
Mit den beiden Adapte n kann de Wechseldatent äge im SD
Ka tenslot bzw. im USB Po t des Inbet iebnahmePC aufge
nommen we den.
Demontage

Bei de Montage des Raum Cont olle Contouch sind folgende
Hinweise zu beachten:
Regle montage an de Innenwand des zu klimatisie enden Rau
mes, gegenübe de Heizquelle:
•Auf ca. 1,5 m Höhe in de Aufenthaltszone und mindestens
50 cm von de nächsten Wand entfe nt.
•nicht an Aussenwänden
•nicht in Nischen ode hinte Vo hängen
•nicht übe ode nahe bei Wä mequellen ode Regalen
•nicht an Wänden, hinte denen sich Wä mequellen wie z.B.
ein Kamin befindet
•nicht im St ahlungsbe eich von Wä mequellen und Leucht
kö pe n wie z.B. Spotlampen
•nicht in Be eichen mit di ekte Sonneneinst ahlung
•Es ist auf einen vib ationsa men Einbauo t zu achten
Die Zugluft von Fenste n und Tü en ist zu ve meiden!
Das ge äteseitige Ende des Installations oh es ist abzudichten,
damit kein Luftzug im Roh entsteht, de die Messung negativ
beeinflusst, siehe Bild 11.

•Die Bedienungsanleitung ist dem Kunden auszuhändigen.
•Das defekte Ge ät mit Busan oppler ist mit einem Rücklie
fe schein de zuständigen Ve t iebsniede lassung zu ückzu
senden.

Connecting the bus and supply terminals
The te minals (E1) a e suitable fo solid leads with a diamete of
0.6 ... 0.8 mm.
Remove insulation on the ends of the leads (E1.4) and plug
them into the te minal (E1) ( ed = +, black = ) o (yellow = +,
white = ) (Fig. 7).
If the bus line is connected with eve se pola ity, then the bus
couple is switched off by a p otective device ( eve se pola ity
p otection). This also applies fo the equi ed booste voltage.
Disconnection of the bus and supply lines
Remove the te minal (E1) and pull out its lead (E1.4) by tu ning
it alte nately backwa ds and fo wa ds (Figu e 7).
Mounting
A sc ew connection is used to install the bus couple in Ø 60 mm
mounting boxes (see Fig. 8).

Note:
The bus couple must be mounted in such a way that the use
inte face (AST) is located at the bottom (see Fig. 1 o 7). Please
ensu e the eby that the Contouch to be attached to the AST is
mounted in the co ect position fo ope ation. Fo a pe ma
nently secu e contact connection to the AST, it is u gently ec
ommended to lock the Contouch into place with the fixing
sc ew (not sc ewed togethe in the delive y state).
Starting up
 Fasten the bus couple (F2) to the flashmounting box (F1)
and connect it to the bus line and the booste voltage.
 P ess the sta tup button (A2): Sta tup LED (A1) illuminates
 Use the ETS to load the physical add ess and the configu ed
application p og am
 Use the two cent ing spikes (C1) and the 6pin plug connec
to (C2) to attach Contouch to the bus couple and sc ew this
onto the suppo t f ame (G1) with the fixing sc ew (G2)
(Theft p otection)
 Attach ota y/pushbutton (G3) to the Contouch
Along with the use inte face, Contouch is equipped with a e
movable data ca ie (mic o SDHS ca d). This flash ca d contains
va ious files (Fi mwa e and defined configu ation settings) fo
the sta tup of Contouch, which have been sto ed o gene ated
by ETS plugin. Thus, the emovable data ca ie is to be con
nected with the commissioning PC fo eve y sta tup. The Con
touch flash kit, which is available as an accesso y fo the Con
touch oom cont olle , offe s both adapte s (mic o SD Adapte
and USB mic oSD eade ) along with the mic o SDHC ca d. The
two adapte s can be used to install the emovable data ca ie
into the SD ca d slot o in the USB po t of the commissioning PC.
Dismounting
 Remove ota y/pushbutton (G3)
 Unsc ew the fixing sc ew (G2).
 Remove Contouch f om the bus couple
 Remove the bus couple f om the flushmounting box
Mounting site (see Fig. 10)
Obse ve the following notes when mounting the Contouch

The deviceside end of the installation tube must be sealed so
that no d afts fo m in the tube which negatively affect the
measu ements, see Fig. 11.

•The faulty device with bus coupler shall be etu ned with a
Retu n Good Note fo Se vice p ovided by the app op iate Sie
