WARNUNG
Gefährdung durch Spannung/Strom
Führen Sie Montage- und Demontagearbeiten nur im spannungslosen Zustand durch.
Die Geräte sind in ein Gehäuse oder in einen Schrank zu integrieren, der eine für die Gefährdung am Einsatzort
ausreichende Schutzart aufweist.
WARNUNG
Sichere Funktionskleinspannung
Das Produkt muss mit sicherer Funktionskleinspannung (SELV, PELV) betrieben werden. Weitergehende Informationen über
sichere Funktionskleinspannung finden Sie in der Betriebsanleitung.
Befolgen Sie die Hinweise und Warnungen in der Betriebsanleitung.
WARNUNG
Mechanische Gefährdung
Sichern Sie das Bediengerät während der Montage oder Demontage ausreichend gegen Herunterfallen.
Das Gehäuse oder der Schrank, in welchen das Gerät integriert wird, muss einen Schutz gegen elektrischen Schlag und
gegen die Ausbreitung von Feuer gewährleisten. Das Gehäuse oder der Schrank muss die Anforderungen bezüglich der
mechanischen Festigkeit und der Schutzart für den entsprechenden Anwendungsfall erfüllen.
Beachten Sie die Hinweise in der zugehörigen Betriebsanleitung und die Dokumentation des Schaltschranks.
Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit
Das Bediengerät ist vorgesehen für den Betrieb in der EMV-Umgebungsklasse Industrie.
Sorgen Sie für einen EMV-gerechten Aufbau wie in der Betriebsanleitung beschrieben.
ACHTUNG
Störaussendung/Störfestigkeit
Der Betrieb des Bediengeräts kann im Wohnbereich Funkstörungen verursachen.
Wenn am Ort der Verwendung höhere EMV-Störungen erwartet werden als für den Industriebereich nach EN61000-6-2
vorgesehen ist, sind zusätzliche Maßnahmen erforderlich (z. B. ESD).
ATEX-/UKEX/IECEx-Gerät vorgesehen für den Einsatz im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich
Sofern das Gerät zum Einsatz im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich (Gas-Luft- bzw. Gas-Staub-Gemisch) vorgesehen ist,
beachten Sie die besonderen Angaben in der Betriebsanleitung. Die vorgesehene Verwendung (z. B. ATEX-Zone, Schutzgrad,
Temperaturklasse) ist am Produkt (in der Regel auf dem Typenschild) angegeben.
Hinweis
In der Regel gelten beim Einsatz eines Produkts im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich auch länderspezifische Anforderungen an
den Betreiber (z. B. Richtlinie 1999/92/EG für die EU).
Schutzart IP65
WARNUNG
Personen- oder Sachschaden bei beschädigten Dichtungen
Im sachgemäß eingebauten Zustand besitzen die Geräte frontseitig die Schutzart IP65. Werden Gerätedichtungen z. B. bei
Wartungsarbeiten beschädigt, dann können Feuchtigkeit oder Flüssigkeiten in das Gerät bzw. in das Gehäuse oder den
Schrank gelangen. Personen- oder Sachschaden durch Kurzschluss oder elektrischen Schlag können die Folge sein.
Prüfen Sie das Gerät und dessen Dichtungen vor der Montage auf Unversehrtheit. Achten Sie bei Montage- und
Wartungsarbeiten darauf, die Gerätedichtungen nicht zu beschädigen.

Reinigung
Reinigen Sie die Geräte nur in ausgeschaltetem Zustand.
Reinigen Sie die Gerätefront mit einem feuchten Tuch. Verwenden Sie Spülmittel oder aufschäumendes
Bildschirmreinigungsmittel.
Beachten Sie die Angaben zur chemischen Beständigkeit (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/39718396)
und ergänzende Angaben in der Betriebsanleitung.
Wartung und Reparatur
Das Produkt ist wartungsfrei. Reparaturen am Produkt dürfen nur vom Hersteller durchgeführt werden. Beachten Sie die
Angaben in der Betriebsanleitung.
Recycling und Entsorgung
Für ein umweltverträgliches Recycling und die Entsorgung Ihres Altgeräts wenden Sie sich an einen zertifizierten
Entsorgungsbetrieb für Elektronikschrott. Entsorgen Sie das Produkt entsprechend den jeweiligen Vorschriften in Ihrem Land.

Intended use
The device is designed for use in industrial environments for operating and monitoring plant processes.
The product may only be handled by personnel qualified for the respective task and in compliance with the documentation
pertaining to the respective task, in particular its safety information and warning notices. Qualified personnel, based on their
training and experience, are capable of identifying risks and avoiding possible hazards when working with these products.

SIMATIC products are intended for the automation of mechanical systems, control technology and process engineering.
Refer to the associated operating instructions to learn about the intended area of application of the respective product (e.g.
ambient conditions, possible use in safety-critical systems).
If products and components from other manufacturers are used, these must be recommended or approved by Siemens.
Proper transport, storage, setup, assembly/disassembly, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance are
required to ensure that the products operate safely and without any problems.

The power supply may only be connected by qualified and authorized personnel. Pay particular attention to the information

WARNING
Danger due to voltage/current
Only carry out assembly and disassembly work when the device is disconnected from power supply.
The devices must be integrated into an enclosure or cabinet that has a degree of protection sufficient for the hazards at the
place of use.
WARNING
Safe functional extra-low voltage
The product must be operated with safe functional extra-low voltage (SELV, PELV). For more information on safe functional
extra-low voltage, refer to the operating instructions.
Comply with the notes and warnings in the operating instructions.
WARNING
Mechanical danger
Secure the HMI device adequately against falling during assembly or disassembly.
The enclosure or cabinet in which the device is integrated must provide protection against electric shock and against the
spread of fire. The enclosure or the cabinet must meet the requirements for mechanical strength and the degree of
protection for the relevant application.
Observe the notes in the associated operating instructions and the documentation of the control cabinet.
Electromagnetic compatibility
The HMI device is intended for operation in the EMC environment class Industry.
Ensure an EMC-compliant installation as described in the operating instructions.
NOTICE
Interference emission/interference immunity
The operation of the HMI device may cause radio interference in the living area.
Additional measures are required if higher EMC disturbances are expected at the place of use than intended for industrial
environments according to EN61000-6-2 (e.g. ESD).
ATEX/UKEX/IECEx device intended for use in potentially hazardous areas
If the device is intended for use in a hazardous area (gas-air or gas-dust mixture), observe the separate information on this in
the operating instructions. The intended use (e.g. ATEX zone, degree of protection, temperature class) is indicated on the
product (usually on the nameplate).
Note
As a rule, country
-specific requirements for the operator also apply when a product is used in hazardous areas (e.g. Directive
1999/92/EC for the EU).
IP65 degree of protection
WARNING
Personal injury or property damage due to damaged seals
When properly installed, the devices have IP65 degree of protection on the front. If device seals are damaged, for example,
during maintenance work, moisture or liquids can enter the device or the enclosure or cabinet. Personal injury or property
damage caused by a short circuit or electric shock may result.
Check the device and its seals for integrity before assembly. Take care not to damage the device seals during assembly and
maintenance work.

Cleaning
Only clean the devices when they are switched off.
Clean the front of the device with a damp cloth. Use dishwashing liquid or foaming screen cleaning agent.

Maintenance and repair
The product is maintenance-free. Repairs to the product may only be carried out by the manufacturer. Observe the
information in the operating instructions.
Recycling and disposal
Contact a certified disposal service company for electronic scrap for environmentally sustainable recycling and disposal of
your old device. Dispose of the product according to the respective regulations in your country.

Functional safety
This section applies to the fail-safe Key Panels KP8F and KP32F.
WARNING
Danger to humans and the environment
To avoid danger to people and the environment, under no circumstances may you bypass safety functions or take measures
that amount to or result in bypassing safety functions. The manufacturer is not liable for the consequences of such
manipulation or for damages resulting from the failure to heed this warning.
Perform a safety inspection for safety-related functions throughout the entire system, including all safety-related
components.
For fail-safe Mobile Panels, observe the notes and warnings in the operating instructions especially for:
•Connecting/wiring
•Parameter assignment
•Fail-safe operation
•Status, error messages and alarms (visualization via module diagnostics)
•Maintenance (recurring tests, software/firmware updates)

Make sure that the HMI device is configured and parameterized for fail-safe operation according to the operating instructions.
Perform function tests for safety functions according to your automation task. They may only be used in production when the
correct operation of the safety-related functions is ensured.

ATTENTION

ATTENTION
Danger mécanique
Protégez suffisamment le pupitre opérateur contre les chutes pendant le montage ou le démontage.

Nettoyage
Ne nettoyez les appareils que lorsqu'ils sont éteints.
Nettoyez les appareils avec un chiffon humide. Utilisez du liquide vaisselle ou de la mousse nettoyante pour écran.

Maintenance et réparation

I pannelli operatore devono essere integrati in un alloggiamento o in un armadio con un grado di protezione sufficiente per
il pericolo nel luogo di impiego.
AVVERTENZA
Bassissima tensione funzionale di sicurezza
Il prodotto deve funzionare con bassissima tensione funzionale di sicurezza (SELV, PELV). Per maggiori informazioni sulla

Attenersi alle avvertenze e agli avvisi riportati nelle istruzioni operative.
AVVERTENZA
Pericolo meccanico
Durante le operazioni di montaggio e smontaggio, proteggere adeguatamente il pannello operatore contro le cadute.
la custodia o l’armadio in cui è installato il pannello operatore devono essere provvisti di una protezione da scossa elettrica e
dalla propagazione di fiamme. La custodia o l'armadio devono soddisfare i requisiti relativi alla resistenza meccanica e al
grado di protezione per il caso applicativo corrispondente.
Osservare le istruzioni riportate nelle relative istruzioni operative e la documentazione del quadro elettrico.
Compatibilità elettromagnetica EMC
Il pannello operatore è concepito per il funzionamento nella classe ambientale EMC per l'industria.
Provvedere a un montaggio secondo i criteri EMC, come descritto nelle istruzioni operative.
ATTENZIONE
Emissione di disturbi/immunità
L'uso del pannello operatore in ambiente residenziale può causare interferenze radioelettriche.
Se nel luogo di utilizzo si prevedono interferenze EMC superiori a quanto previsto dalla EN61000-6-2 in campo industriale,
sono necessarie misure supplementari (ad es. ESD).
Dispositivo ATEX/UKEX/IECEx per l'impiego nell'area a rischio di esplosione
Se il pannello operatore è previsto per l'impiego nell'area a rischio di esplosione (miscela di gas-aria o di gas-polvere), tenere
presente i dati specifici contenuti nelle istruzioni operative. L'utilizzo previsto (ad es. zona ATEX, grado di protezione, classe di
temperatura) è riportato sul prodotto (normalmente, sulla targhetta identificativa).
Nota
Normalmente, per l'utilizzo di un prodotto nell'area a rischio di esplosione valgono anche i requisiti del gestore specifici
del
Paese (ad es. la direttiva 1999/92/CE per l'UE).
Grado di protezione IP65
AVVERTENZA
Lesioni personali o danni materiali in caso di guarnizioni difettose
Una volta installati correttamente, i pannelli operatore hanno il grado di protezione IP65 sul lato anteriore. Se le guarnizioni
del pannello operatore vengono danneggiate, ad es. durante interventi di manutenzione, nel dispositivo, nella custodia o
nell'armadio possono penetrare umidità o liquidi. Con conseguente pericolo di lesioni personali o danni materiali dovute a
cortocircuiti o scosse elettriche.
Prima del montaggio controllare l'integrità delle guarnizioni. Durante il montaggio e gli intervento di manutenzione
maneggiare le guarnizioni del pannello operatore per evitare di danneggiarle.

Pulizia
Pulire i dispositivi soltanto quando sono spenti.
Pulire la parte anteriore del pannello operatore con un panno umido. Utilizzare un detergente per stoviglie oppure un
apposito detergente per monitor.
Osservare le indicazioni sulla resistenza chimica (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/it/view/39718396) nonché le
indicazioni supplementari nelle istruzioni operative.
Manutenzione e riparazione
Il prodotto non richiede manutenzione. I lavori di riparazione del prodotto possono essere eseguiti esclusivamente dal
produttore. Attenersi alle indicazioni riportate nelle istruzioni operative.
Riciclo e smaltimento
Per il riciclaggio e lo smaltimento ecocompatibile dei vecchi dispositivi, rivolgersi ad un ente certificato per lo smaltimento di
dispositivi elettronici usati. Smaltire il prodotto in conformità delle norme vigenti nel proprio Paese.

Testare le funzioni di sicurezza in base al proprio compito di automazione. Le funzioni di sicurezza possono essere utilizzate in
esercizio produttivo soltanto dopo averne accertato il corretto funzionamento.
