Purpose The magnet may be replaced due to wear.
Tools required Standard service tools.
Time required 1 h / 1 person.

Dismounting
1Remove the four screws holding the front edge of the object table top.
2Carefully lift the front edge of the object table top to reveal the four screw
placed behind it.
Do not use excessive force or the object table top might be damaged.
Remove the revealed screws, the two nuts and the two guiding pins.
3Remove the bottom plate by unscrewing the eight remaining screws:
- Two screws at either side of the biopsy unit.
- Four screws at the bottom of the biopsy unit.
4Place the biopsy unit as shown in the picture.

5Remove the cassette slider arm by unscrewing the two
screws holding it. This will also disconnect the grounding wire.
6Remove the magnet.
7Clean the gliding plate if necessary.
8Place the new magnet on the gliding plate and attach the
cassette slider arm to the magnet.
9Reassemble the biopsy unit. Don´t forget to connect the
grounding wire.
