the vehicle. Please read the instructions carefully. Incorrect
installation of the child restraint system could cause serious

1. INSTALLING THE CHILD SEAT
INSTALLATION FROM 9 TO 18 KG:
1.1 Slide the ISOFIX connector arms B (5) to
their maximum length by turning the ISOFIX
connector arms extension lever A (16).
Do this on both sides of the seat.
Extend the top tether and place (4) on top
of the seat.
1.2 Connect the ISOFIX connector arms
until you hear them click into place.
The ISOFIX connection indicator (17) will
turn from red to green. Push the seat as
far back as possible. Make sure that both
lSOFIX are in the same position once you
have pushed the seat back.
1.3 Connect the Top Tether in the anchor
point in the vehicle marked with the symbol:
The connector may be closed without being
secured in the ISOFIX anchor. Please make
sure that the connectors are correctly
fastened into the anchor points of the
vehicle by pulling the seat once it has
been installed.
To detach the seat follow the same steps
in reverse.
Move the button(15) to open the connector
and release the anchors.
INSTALLATION FROM 15 TO 36 KG:
Follow the same steps as before. In this case
you should not connect the Top Tether.
There is also the option of installing the seat
only with the car seat belt when using the
15-36kg mode however where possible it is
recommended to use ISOFIX.

2. FITTING THE CHILD INTO THE
CHILD SEAT
The Balance Car Seat may be used for the
following weight ranges:
9-18 kg using the 5-point safety harness
15-36 kg the safety harness must be stored
away and the child should be secured with
the 3-point vehicle seat belt.
SAFETY HARNESS 9-18kg (With ISOFIX + Top
tether + 5 point safety harness)
2.1 Slacken the shoulder straps by pressing
the harness adjustment button (10) at the
same time, pulling both shoulder straps
forward below the chest pads with your
other hand.
Press the red release button and undo the
harness. Move the ends of the buckle to
each side of the seat so you can put the
child in the seat.
Carefully place the child into the seat and
pass both arms through the harnesses.
Fit the shoulder strap tongues and together
and then push rmly into the crotch strap
buckle until you hear a click.
2.2 Tighten harness by pulling the lower
strap (11).
To get the child out of the seat follow the
same process in reverse.
STORING THE 5-POINT SAFETY HARNESS:
Once the child reaches a weight of 18kg
the 5-point safety harness should be stored
away and the child should be secured with
the vehicle safety belt.
2.3 To store the 5-point safety harness
away it needs to be fully loosened rst.
Press the red release button and undo
the harness. Lift the cover under the
cushion and store the buckle parts in the
compartment. Then put the cover back on
the seat.
2.4 Open the ap on the back of the seat
and stow the shoulder sections of the
harness behind.

2.5 With the child in the seat pull the seat
belt around the front, locating it into both
seat belt lap section guides (14).
Pass the shoulder section through the
diagonal section seat belt guide(7).
Fasten the seat belt buckle and pull the seat
belt tight, removing any slack.
3. USING BALANCE
3.1 HEADREST AND HARNESS
ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM

The headrest should be adjusted so that
the shoulder belts are at the same level as
the child’s shoulders. To adjust the harness
and headrest pull the headrest adjustment
handle upwards (6) whilst moving the
headrest (1). The 5-point safety harness will
move upwards together with the headrest.
Place the harness in the correct position
showed in the diagram.

Use the headrest adjustment handle to
increase the height of the headrest as the
child grows.
Make sure that the belt guide is about 2cm
above the child ’s shoulder.
If you need to lower the headrest position
do the same operation in reverse.
3.2 SEAT RECLINE SYSTEM
The BALANCE child seat has 4 recline
positions to oer the best comfort.
To recline the seat press the recline lever
(12) and pull forward until reaching the
required position.

MAINTENANCE
FITTING/REMOVING THE COVER
The cover has 7 fastening points on the
front part.
Simply unfasten these points and then
gently pull the front part of the cover.
On the sides of the seat there are some
plastic parts that are used to fasten the
cover. Simply pull these gently to take the
cover o.
To put the cover back on again just follow
the same process in reverse. Fit the parts
into the slots for the sides.

CLEANING THE FABRICS
1. The seat cover is easily removable and
should be washed on a delicate cycle at 30
degrees using a mild detergent.
2. Take out all removable internal plastic/
foam parts from inside any fabrics before
washing.
3. Do not press, iron, dry clean, tumble dry
or wring the covers.
4. Do not use solvents, caustic or abrasive
cleaning materials.
5. Dry flat, away from direct heat
and sunlight.
THE FABRIC COVER IS AN ESSENTIAL
PART OF THE CHILD RESTRAINT
SYSTEM. IT MUST NOT BE REPLACED
BY A DIFFERENT COVER WITHOUT
PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM THE
MANUFACTURER.
CLEANING THE SEAT SHELL AND HARNESS
Wipe clean using a mild hand soap and
warm water. You must not use detergents,
solvents or strong soaps. This may weaken
your infant carrier shell or harness.
You must not remove, dismantle or alter any
part of the infant carrier shell or harness.
You must not oil or lubricate any part of
your infant carrier shell or harness.
CLEANING THE CROTCH STRAP BUCKLE
Clean the crotch strap buckle with a mild
hand soap and water and then thoroughly
rinse with warm water.

1. INSTALLATION DU SIÈGE AUTO
INSTALLATION POUR LES ENFANTS DE 9 À
18KG:
1.1 Faites glisser les bras de xation ISOFIX B
(5) jusqu’à leur longueur maximale en faisant
tourner le levier d’ouverture A des bras de
xation ISOFIX (16).
Faites-le sur les deux côté du siège.
Allongez l’attache supérieure et placez-la (4)
sur le haut du siège.
1.2 Fixez les bras de xation ISOFIX jusqu’à ce
qu’ils s’enclenchent.
L’indicateur de xation ISOFIX (17) passera
du rouge au vert. Poussez le siège aussi loin
que possible. Une fois que vous avez poussé
le siège, vériez que les deux bras de xation
ISOFIX sont dans la même position.
1.3 Fixez l'attache supérieure au point
d'ancrage du véhicule portant le symbole:
Il peut arriver que la xation soit refermée sans
pour autant être dans l’ancrage ISOFIX. Veillez
à ce que les xations soient bien placées dans
les points d'ancrage du véhicule en tirant sur le
siège une fois qu'il a été installé.
Pour détacher le siège, suivez les mêmes étapes
en sens inverse.
Déplacez le bouton (15) pour ouvrir la xation
et la libérer du point d’ancrage.
INSTALLATION POUR LES ENFANTS DE 15 À
36 KG:
Suivez les étapes précédentes, mais sans xer
l’attache supérieure.
Vous pouvez également installer le siège
seulement avec la ceinture de sécurité
du véhicule en utilisant le mode 15-36kg,
cependant, il est conseillé dans la mesure du

2. INSTALLER L’ENFANT DANS LE
SIÈGE
Le siège auto Balance peut être utilisé pour les
poids suivants:
9 à 18kg - en utilisant le harnais de sécurité à
5points
15 à 36kg - sans utiliser le harnais de sécurité
- l’enfant sera attaché avec la ceinture de
sécurité à 3points du véhicule.
HARNAIS DE SÉCURITÉ 9 à 18kg (avec ISOFIX
+ attache supérieure + harnais de sécurité à 5
points)
2.1 Desserrez les sangles d'épaule en appuyant
sur le bouton de réglage du harnais (10) tout
en tirant sur les deux sangles d’épaule vers
l’avant, sous les rembourrages de poitrine, avec
l’autre main.
Appuyez sur le bouton de déblocage rouge et
défaites le harnais. Placez les extrémités de la
boucle de chaque côté du siège an de pouvoir
mettre l’enfant dans le siège.
Placez l’enfant dans le siège avec précaution,
puis faites passer les deux bras dans le harnais.
Rassemblez les broches des sangles d’épaule,
puis enfoncez-les fermement dans la boucle
située entre les jambes, jusqu’à ce qu’elles
s’enclenchent.
2.2 Resserrez le harnais en tirant sur la sangle
inférieure (11).
Pour faire sortir l’enfant du siège, suivez ce
processus en sens inverse.
RANGEMENT DU HARNAIS DE SÉCURITÉ À 5
POINTS:
Quand l’enfant aura atteint un poids de 18kg,
vous pourrez enlever le harnais à 5 points et
attacher l’enfant avec la ceinture de sécurité
du véhicule.
2.3 Pour retirer le harnais à 5 points, vous
devez d'abord le desserrer. Appuyez sur le
bouton de déblocage rouge et défaites le
harnais. Soulevez la protection sous le coussin
et placez les parties de la boucle dans le
compartiment. Ensuite, remettez la protection
sur le siège.
2.4 Ouvrez le rabat situé à l’arrière du siège
et rangez-y les parties du harnais pour les
épaules.
