INSTALLING THE DREAM
ISIZE BASE
Make sure that your vehicle
has ISOFIX anchor points and is
approved in the vehicle application
list which is supplied with the base.
Locate the vehicle ISOFIX points. If
this is a problem consult the vehicle
manual. They are usually between
the vehicle seat base and back.
1 Insert the two plastic ISOFIX
guides and hook them onto the
vehicle ISOFIX points. The plastic
guides can help identify the vehicle
ISOFIX points and make installation
easier. They can also help with the
protection of your vehicle seat.
2 Pull out the support leg from the
attachment.
3 Lift the paddle lever, centrally
positioned at the front of the base
and push the front support leg
housing towards the base to fully
extend the ISOFIX arms.
4 Connect the ISOFIX arms onto
the vehicle ISOFIX points. Firmly pull
the base towards you making sure
that both arms are connected and
check that the ISOFIX connection
indicator is now showing green
(parts list no.5)
5 Again lift the paddle lever and
rmly push the base towards and
up against the back of the vehicle
seat. Make sure that the back of
the base is now rmly up against
the rear of the vehicle seat. Check
again that the ISOFIX connection
indicator is showing green (parts
list no.5). The base should now be
secure and stable.
6 Push the adjustment button and
adjust the support leg so that it
makes full and rm contact with
the vehicle oor. The two pressure
monitors at the base of the support
leg must turn from red to green
conrming rm contact.
Do not place the front support leg
on a oor storage compartment
lid. The front support leg MUST
make full and rm contact with the
vehicle oor.
Make sure that the support leg does
not raise the base from the surface
of the vehicle seat.
Not all infant carrier bases t
all vehicles. For advice as to the
suitability of this infant carrier
base please consult the vehicle
application list before you purchase
the base and make sure that the
make, model and year of your
vehicle/s is suitable. If you are in
any doubt please contact Silver
Cross customer services on

7 Check that the front support leg
clicks into position and is correctly
adjusted.
8 Lower the Dream Infant Carrier
on to the Dream i-Size Base and
make sure that all 4 connection
bars engage rmly and click into
position on the base connection
points (parts list no.8).
Make sure the infant carrier handle
is in the upright position and that it
“clicks” into place.

9 Lift the Dream Infant Carrier to
make sure that all four connections
have engaged correctly and the
two connection indicators have
changed from red to green (parts
list no.9).
DETACHING THE DREAM
INFANT CARRIER FROM
THE DREAM ISIZE BASE
10 Pull up the release handle on the
back of the Dream Infant Carrier.
The two indicators on the front of
the Dream i-Size Base will turn from
green to red to indicate that the
infant carrier has been detached
from the base correctly. (parts list
no.9)
11 Carefully lift the Dream Infant
Carrier from the Dream i-Size Base.
REMOVING THE DREAM
ISIZE BASE FROM THE
VEHICLE
12 Only remove the base from the
vehicle when the infant carrier is
not attached. Disconnect the ISOFIX
connector arms by lifting either
or both release paddle handles
positioned on the side of the base.
The infant carrier connection
indicator should have turned from
green to red, the base should now
be disconnected (parts list no.5).
Push the support leg adjustment
button adjust the front support leg
to the required length and reattach
to the holder positioned under the
base. Carefully remove from your
vehicle. There is a carry handle
located centrally between the
ISOFIX arms to help you carry the
base. The ISOFIX base can be left
installed in the vehicle.
VERY IMPORTANT
Please read the whole of this
instruction guide carefully. Failure to
do so could put your child in danger.
The Dream i-Size Base can only be
used with the Dream Infant Carrier.
The child safety seat has been
designed, tested and certied
according to the requirements of
the European Standard for Child
Safety Equipment (ECE R129/02).
NOTICE
This is an i-Size Enhanced Child
Restraint System. It is approved
according to UN Regulation
No. 129, for use in i-Size compatible
vehicle seating positions as
indicated by vehicle manufacturers
in the vehicle user manual.
If in doubt, consult either the
Enhanced Child Restraint System
manufacturer or the retailer.
Other vehicles and seat positions
may also be suitable for this
restraint system.

Wipe clean using a mild hand
soap and warm water. You must
not use detergents, solvents or

INSTALLER LA BASE DU
DREAM ISIZE
Veillez à ce que votre véhicule ait
des points d'ancrage ISOFIX et soit
approuvé dans la liste des applications
pour véhicule fournie avec la base.
Trouvez les points ISOFIX du véhicule.
Si nécessaire, consultez le manuel du

xée et stable.
6 Appuyez sur le bouton de réglage
et ajustez le pied de support an qu’il
soit bien en contact avec le sol du
véhicule. Les deux témoins de pression
situés à la base du pied de support
doivent passer du rouge au vert pour
conrmer un contact ferme.
Ne placez pas le pied de support avant
sur le couvercle du compartiment
de stockage situé au sol. Le pied de
support avant DOIT être en contact
ferme et complet avec le sol du
véhicule.
Veillez à ce que le pied de support ne
crée pas un écart entre la base et la
surface du siège du véhicule.
Toutes les bases de sièges auto ne
s'adaptent pas à tous les véhicules.
Pour savoir à quel véhicule peut
s'adapter la base de ce siège auto,
consultez la liste des applications pour
véhicule avant d'acheter la base et
veillez à ce qu’elle corresponde à la
marque, au modèle et à l’année de
votre ou vos véhicules.
7 Vériez que le pied de support avant
s’enclenche dans son logement et qu’il
est correctement réglé.
8 Placez le siège auto Dream sur la
base Dream i-Size et veillez à ce que
les 4barres de xation s’engagent
fermement et s’enclenchent sur
les points de xation de la base
(référence n8). Veillez à ce que la
poignée du siège auto soit en position
relevée et s’enclenche.

9 Soulevez le siège auto Dream pour
veiller à ce que les quatre xations
soient correctement engagées et
à ce que les deux indicateurs de
xation soient passés du rouge au vert
(référence n9).
DÉTACHER LE SIÈGE AUTO
DREAM DE LA BASE DREAM
ISIZE
10 Tirez sur la poignée de déblocage
située à l’arrière du siège auto Dream.
Les deux indicateurs situés à l'avant de
la base Dream i-Size passeront du vert
au rouge pour indiquer que le siège
auto a été détaché correctement de la
base. (référence n9).
11 Avec précaution, enlevez le siège
auto Dream de la base Dream i-Size.
RETIRER LA BASE DREAM
ISIZE DU VÉHICULE
12 Retirez la base du véhicule
seulement quand le siège auto n’est
pas xé. Détachez les bras de xation
ISOFIX en soulevant les poignées
aplaties de déblocage situées sur le
côté de la base, séparément ou en
même temps. L’indicateur de xation
du siège auto doit alors passer du vert
au rouge. La base devrait maintenant
être détachée (référence n5).
Appuyez sur le bouton de réglage du
pied de support pour ajuster le pied de
support avant à la longueur requise,
puis xez-le à nouveau au support
placé sous la base. Retirez-le de votre
véhicule avec précaution. Une poignée
de transport située au centre, entre les
bras ISOFIX, vous aide à transporter
la base. La base ISOFIX peut être
laissée installée dans le véhicule en
permanence.
TRÈS IMPORTANT
Lisez attentivement la totalité de ce
mode d'emploi. Le non-respect de
ces consignes risque de mettre votre
enfant en danger.
La base Dream i-Size ne peut être
utilisée qu’avec le siège auto Dream.
Ce siège auto pour enfant a été
conçu, testé et homologué selon les
critères de la norme européenne sur
les équipements de sécurité pour les
enfants (ECE R129/00).
AVIS
Ceci est un système amélioré
de retenue pour enfants. Il a été
homologué conformément au
règlement n129 de l’ONU, pour être

détergents, solvants, savons agressifs,

base. Ne retirez, démontez ni modiez
aucune partie de la base. Ne huilez ni
ne lubriez aucune partie de la base.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA BASE
DREAM DE TAMAÑO ISIZE
Asegúrese de que su vehículo cuenta
con puntos de anclaje ISOFIX y está
aprobado en la lista de solicitud de
vehículos que se suministra junto a
la base.
Localice los puntos ISOFIX del vehículo.
Si esto le supone un problema,
consulte el manual del vehículo.
Normalmente se encuentran entre la
base del asiento del vehículo y la parte
trasera.
1 Introduzca las dos guías de plástico
ISOFIX y engánchelas a los puntos
ISOFIX del vehículo. Las guías de
plástico le pueden ayudar a identicar
los puntos ISOFIX del vehículo y
pueden hacer que la instalación sea
más fácil. Estas también pueden
ayudar a proteger el asiento del
vehículo.
2 Saque la pata de soporte del
acoplamiento.
3 Levante la palanca, que se
encuentra centrada cuidadosamente
en la parte frontal de la base, y
empuje la carcasa de la pata de
soporte hacia la base para extender
por completo los brazos ISOFIX.
4 Conecte los brazos ISOFIX con
los puntos ISOFIX del vehículo. Tire
rmemente de la base hacia usted,
asegurándose de que ambos brazos
están conectados, y compruebe que
el indicador de conexión ISOFIX se
muestra en verde (n.º 5de la lista de
piezas).
5 Vuelva a levantar la palanca y
empuje rmemente la base hacia
arriba contra la parte trasera del
asiento del vehículo.Asegúrese de
que la parte trasera de la base se
encuentra rmemente arriba contra la
parte trasera del asiento del vehículo.
Vuelva a comprobar que el indicador
de conexión ISOFIX se muestra en
verde (n.º 5de la lista de piezas). La
base debería estar ahora ja y estable.
6 Pulse el botón de ajuste y ajuste
la pata de soporte para que entre en
contacto por completo y con rmeza
con el suelo del vehículo. Los dos
indicadores de presión de la base de
la pata de soporte deberán cambiar
de rojo a verde para conrmar un
contacto rme.
No coloque la pata de soporte frontal
en la tapa del compartimento de
almacenamiento del suelo. La pata
frontal de soporte DEBE entrar en
contacto por completo y con rmeza
con el suelo del vehículo.
Asegúrese de que la pata de soporte
no levanta la base de la supercie del
asiento del vehículo.
No todas las bases de los portabebés
son compatibles con todos los
vehículos. Para recibir asesoramiento
sobre la compatibilidad de la base de
este portabebés, consulte la lista de
solicitud del vehículo antes de comprar
la base y asegúrese de que la marca,
modelo y año de su/s vehículo/s son
compatibles.
7 Compruebe que la pata frontal
de soporte hace clic al colocarse
en su posición y queda ajustada
correctamente.
8 Baje el portabebés Dream sobre
la base Dream de tamaño i-Size y
asegúrese de que las cuatro barras
de conexión entran rmemente en
contacto y hacen clic al colocarse en
los puntos de conexión de la base
(n.º 8de la lista de piezas).
Asegúrese de que el manillar del
portabebés se encuentra en posición
vertical y que hace clic al colocarse en
su posición.

9 Levante el portabebés Dream
para asegurarse de que las cuatro
conexiones funcionan correctamente
y que los dos indicadores de conexión
han cambiado de rojo a verde (n.º 9
de la lista de piezas),

PORTABEBÉS DREAM DE LA
BASE DREAM DE TAMAÑO I
10 Tire de la manivela de soltura
hacia arriba en la parte trasera
del portabebés Dream. Los dos
indicadores de la parte frontal de
la base Dream de tamaño i-Size
cambiarán de verde a rojo para indicar
que el portabebés se ha desmontado
de la base correctamente (n.º 9de la
lista de piezas).
11 Levante cuidadosamente el
portabebés Dream de la base Dream
de tamaño i-Size.
QUITAR LA BASE DREAM
DE TAMAÑO ISIZE DEL
VEHÍCULO
12 Quite la base del vehículo solo
cuando el portabebés no esté
montado. Desconecte los brazos
conectores ISOFIX levantando una o
ambas palancas que se encuentran
en el lateral de la base. El indicador de
conexión del portabebés debería de
haber cambiado de verde a rojo y la
base debería estar en este momento
desconectada (n.º 5de la lista de
piezas).
Pulse el botón de ajuste de la pata
de soporte para ajustar la pata de
soporte frontal a la longitud requerida
y vuélvala a montar al soporte que se
encuentra bajo la base. Quítela con
cuidado de su vehículo. Hay un asa de
transporte en la parte central entre
los brazos ISOFIX que le ayudará a
transportar la base. La base ISOFIX se
puede dejar instalada en el vehículo.
MUY IMPORTANTE
Lea detenidamente toda esta guía de
instrucciones. De no hacerlo, podría
poner en peligro a su bebé.
Solo se puede usar la base Dream
de tamaño i-Size con el portabebés
Dream. El asiento de seguridad del
bebé se ha diseñado, probado y
certicado de conformidad con los
requisitos de la normativa europea
aplicable a los equipos de seguridad
para bebés (ECE R129/00).
AVISO
Este es un sistema mejorado de
retención para bebés de tamaño
i-Size. Se ha aprobado de acuerdo
con el reglamento n.º 129 de la ONU,
para su uso en posiciones de asiento
de vehículos de de tamaño i -Size
compatibles, tal y como indiquen los
fabricantes del vehículo en el manual
de usuario del vehículo. Si tiene alguna
duda, consúltela con el distribuidor o
fabricante del sistema mejorado de
retención para bebés.
Puede que otros vehículos y posiciones
de asientos también sean compatibles
con el sistema de retención.
