Softwarechanges
Thissoftwareupdatesolvesanumberofsoftware
bugsthathavebeenreportedbyourusers,or
detectedduringourownproducttesting.New
functionalityisalsointroduced.
Thefollowingspecicchangeshavebeenmade.
•ItwasreportedthattheSX90startedtoreact
slowlyonuserinteractionsafterlongtimeuse.
Thiswasdetectedwhenthetiltindicatordidnot
update.Thisbughasbeenxed.
•ThecurrentBottomFiltersettingisnow
automaticallysavedwiththeusersettings.
•Wehaveaddedanewintegrationtoour
AcousticDopplerCurrentProler(ADCP).The
informationisprovidedusinganNMEACUR
datagram,anditisdisplayedinthetopright
corneroftheHorizontalview.
Thecursorinformationismovedtothebottom
leftcorneroftheview,andplacedwiththe
manualtrackinformation(speedandcourse
betweenthetwolatesttargets).
•Itisnolongernecessarytolowerthehullunitto
saveusersettings.
•TheReceiverControlledGain(RCG)and
AutomaticGainControl(AGC)functionshave
beenimprovedforsectortransmission.
•New"Ownship"markeraddedasasquare
symbolonthesonarpresentation.Thesymbol

Deningtheinstallationparameters

Whentheinstallationtrunkismounted,itmaynot
bepositionedwiththemountingholesperfectly
alignedtothecentrelineofthevessel.Whenthe
hullunitisplacedonthetrunk,the"forward"
markonthetransducershaftsleeve-andthus
also"forward"onthetransducer-maynotpoint
forwardatall,butseveraldegreesoffthecentre
line.ToobtainaccurateSX90presentations,this
misalignmentmustbeadjustedbychangingthe
installationparameters.
