Installation
instructions for table
or bench mount
1 Choose a dry location within 2 feet
(609,6 mm) of a 120 V AC electrical
outlet.
2 Mount bracket directly into table or bench
(† fig. 1).
3 Insert reel into bracket, use care to line up
the mounting holes († fig. 2).
4 Secure reel to bracket using the 8 in.
(203 mm) pin († fig. 2).
5 Once pin is fully inserted, secure 8 in.
(203 mm) pin with cotter pin († fig. 2).
6 Adjust ball stop so T-Tap or light head
hangs at your desired length.
7 Plug power cord into your 120 V AC elec-
trical outlet.

1 Choose a dry location within2 feet
(609,6 mm) of a 120 V AC electrical
outlet.
2 Take the u shaped bracket († fig. 1) and
attach to wall or ceiling with the provided
screws.

mount
1 Choose a dry location within 2 feet
(609,6 mm) of a 120 V AC electrical outlet
2 Screw the hanger hook securely into the
ceiling († fig. 3).
Do not mount reel to drywall or any
unsupported wall material directly.
CAUTION
3 Insert the hanger bracket († fig. 2)
inside the U bracket († fig. 1) lining up
the small holes
4 Insert the locking pin through holes and
bend the end to prevent it from falling out
5 Adjust ball stop so T-Tap or light head
hangs at your desired height
6 Plug power cord into your 120 V AC elec-
trical outlet.
Do not mount reel to drywall or any
unsupported wall material directly.

• Do not overload circuit - Check the
amperage rating of the tool or appli-
ance that you are using before con-
necting anything to the outlet(s) on
this product to be sure that you are
not overloading the circuit. The am-
perage rating of this reel can be found
on the label on the reel itself. If the
circuit breaker blows, unplug all de-
vices and re-set the circuit breaker.
Double check the amperage rating of
your device before plugging it back in.
• Do not service this reel light while it
is plugged in. It may cause electrical
shock
• Opening reel may cause injury. Unit
has a tightly wound clock spring for
retraction.
CAUTION
Operating instructions
1 Fully extend and lock cord in place before
using.
2 To lock, pull cord to desired length.
Slowly let the cord retract back into the
reel some, until you hear a clicking sound.
Stop the cord from retracting when you
hear the clicking sound. Cord should now
be locked in place. If not, repeat previous
instructions.
3 To retract cord, pull cord out a few inches
until you feel the reel pulling the cord
from your hand. Do not let go of the
cord while it is retracting.Hold onto cord
until it is completely wound into the reel.
Failure to do so may result in personal in-
jury and/or damage to the reel itself.
4 To lock multi-angle bracket into place, pull
looped spring loaded pin out, set reel to
desired angle and release looped spring
pin to engage into one of the holes to lock
it.

and safety information could result in
malfunction of the unit, fire hazard, or
electrical shock.
WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death from
electrical shock or fire:
• Do not handle this fixture or try to
plug it in when your hands are wet or
damp, when you are standing on a
wet or damp surface, or in water.
• This fixture must always be used in
accordance with all electrical and
safety codes and ordinances, including
the most recent National Electric Code
(NEC) and with the Occupational
Safety and Health Act (OSHA) vol. 1
on general industry standards and
interpretations.
• Always make certain that the power
source conforms to the requirements
on the fixture.
• Always disconnect the power before
servicing or inspecting the fixture for
any reason.
• This fixture is only for use with 110 to
125 V AC rated products, and is
equipped with an approved 3-con-
ductor cord with a 3-prong, grounded
plug.
• To reduce the risk of electrical
shock, it should only be plugged into a
properly grounded 3-prong outlet.
• Fixture is not waterproof and is not
intended for use in showers, saunas,
or potentially wet locations.
Always keep this fixture away from
sinks, tubs, showers, etc. Never at-
tempt to pick up plugged-in appli-
ances or tools when they fall into
water. Fatal electrocution could
result.
• This fixture comes equipped with
a 3-prong grounded plug. Do not
remove the 3rd prong or otherwise
try to modify the plug. If it will not fit
the outlet, have the proper outlet
installed by a qualified electrician.
Improper connection of the grounding
conductor can result in a risk of elec-
trical shock.
• Never attempt to plug the fixture into
a non-grounded outlet or extension
cord and always be sure that the ex-
tension cord is in good electrical con-
dition and is a minimum of 16 gauge,
3 conductor.
• This fixture is intended for use as a
general indoor power source. Do not
use in potentially dangerous locations,
such as in flammable or explosive
atmospheres.

This product is protected by a circuit breaker:
Do not overload or circuit breaker will cut off
current. To restore power if this happens,
remove overload, wait for two minutes, then
reset the circuit breaker by pressing the but-
ton on side of unit.
If circuit breaker continues to cut off cur-
rent please unplug tool and discontinue use.
Do not allow the cord to fly unrestricted
back into reel.

Maintenance
It’s simple to keep your cord reel clean and
operating smoothly.
1 Remove dirt and grime as soon as it ac-
cumulates on reel case by using a soft,
damp cloth (a mild soap may be used if
needed), being careful not to wet the
electrical plug. Never immerse any part of
the unit in any solution to clean. Do not
use solvents such as gasoline, turpentine,
etc. to clean unit.
2 Keep cord clean to assure smoothest au-
tomatic retraction. Simply pull cord to its
full length and allow to retract through a
dampened rag. Pull out full length again
and allow to retract through clean rag
sprinkled with talcum powder.

standard warranty
Standard limited warranty
Lincoln warrants the equipment manufac-
tured and supplied by Lincoln to be free
from defects in material and workmanship
for a period of one (1) year following the
date of purchase, excluding there from any
special, extended, or limited warranty pub-
lished by Lincoln. If equipment is deter-
mined to be defective during this warranty
period, it will be repaired or replaced, within
Lincoln’s sole discretion, without charge.
This warranty is conditioned upon the
determination of a Lincoln authorized rep-
resentative that the equipment is defective.
To obtain repair or replacement, you must
ship the equipment, transportation charges
prepaid, with proof of purchase to a Lincoln
Authorized Warranty and Service Center
within the warranty period.
This warranty is extended to the original
retail purchaser only. This warranty does not
apply to equipment damaged from accident,
overload, abuse, misuse, negligence, faulty
installation or abrasive or corrosive material,
equipment that has been altered, or equip-
ment repaired by anyone not authorized by
Lincoln. This warranty applies only to equip-
ment installed, operated and maintained in
strict accordance with the written specifica-
tions and recommendations provided by
Lincoln or its authorized field personnel.
This warranty is exclusive and is in lieu
of any other warranties, express or
implied, including, but not limited to, the
warranty of merchantability or warranty
of fitness for a particular purpose. War-
ranty on items sold by Lincoln, but not
manufactured by Lincoln are subject to
the warranty consideration, if any, of
their manufacturer (such as hoses,
hydraulic and electric motors, electrical
controllers, etc.) Assistance in making
such warranty claims can be offered as
required.
In no event shall Lincoln be liable for inci-
dental or consequential damages. Lincoln’s
liability for any claim for loss or damages
arising out of the sale, resale or use of any
Lincoln equipment shall in no event exceed
the purchase price. Some jurisdictions do
not allow the exclusion or limitation of inci-
dental or consequential damages, therefore
the above limitation or exclusion may not
apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal
rights. You may also have other rights that
vary by jurisdiction.

Hemisphere or East Asia: Please contact
Lincoln GmbH and Co. Kg, Walldorf,
Germany, for your warranty rights.
Special limited warranties
Special limited 2 year warranty
SL-V series, single injectors–85772,
85782, and replacement injectors–85771,
85781
Lincoln warrants the SL-V Injector series to
be free from defects in material and work-
manship for two (2) years following the date
of purchase. If an injector model (single or
replacement) is determined to be defective
by Lincoln, in its sole discretion, during this
warranty period, it will be repaired or
replaced, at Lincoln’s discretion, without
charge.
Special limited 5 year warranty
series 20, 25, 40 bare pumps, pmv bare
pumps, heavy duty and 94000 series bare
reels
Lincoln warrants series 20, 25, 40 bare
pumps, PMV bare pumps, heavy duty
(82206), mini bench (81133, 81323), and
all 94000 LFR series (single arm and dual
arm) bare reels to be free from defects in
material and workmanship for five (5) years
following the date of purchase. If equipment
is determined by Lincoln, in its sole discre-
tion, to be defective during the first year of
the warranty period, it will be repaired or
replaced at Lincoln’s discretion, without
charge. In years two (2) and three (3), the
warranty on this equipment is limited to re-
pair with Lincoln paying parts and labor
only. In years four (4) and five (5), the war-
ranty on this equipment is limited to repair
with Lincoln paying for parts only.
Special limited 5 year warranty–
limited oil meters, limited fluid control
valves, aod (air-operated diaphragm
pumps)
Lincoln warrants the 712 series control
valves, 912 series lube meters, electronic
lube meters (980, 981, 982 series), our
universal inline digital meters (812/813
series), and our AOD pump offering to be
free from defects in material and workman-
ship for five (5) years following the date of
purchase. If either is determined to be
defective by Lincoln, in its sole discretion,
during the warranty period, they will be
repaired or replaced, at Lincoln’s discretion,
without charge.
Special DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) limited
warranty
DEF products are warranted to be free from
defects in material and workmanship for a
period of one (1) year following the date of
purchase. The following exceptions to the
standard warranty period are in effect:
• 85700-30/85700-50 DEF hose reels
(bare reel only),
277251/277252 AC DEF pumps, and
277256 and 277257 DEF meters are
warranted for two (2) years from date of
purchase.
• 85623 DEF AOD
(air operated diaphragm) pumps
are covered under the standard five (5)
year AOD pump warranty.
If either is determined to be defective by
Lincoln, in its sole discretion, during the
warranty period, they will be repaired or
replaced, at Lincoln’s discretion, without
charge.
