IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT!
WARNING To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury: Know your blower.
Read the instruction manual carefully. Learn the blower’s applications and limitations,
as well as the specific potential hazards related to this blower. Following this rule will
reduce the risk of electric shock, re, or serious injury.
This blower is intended for household use only.
Do not leave blower unattended when the battery is inserted. Remove the battery when
the blower is not in use and before servicing.
Do not allow the blower to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or
near children.
Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended
attachments.
Do not handle the charger, including charger plug, or charger terminals with wet hands.
Do not put any object into any openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep
openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and
moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be drawn into air vents.
Secure long hair above shoulder level to prevent entanglement in moving parts.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
If the blower is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or
dropped into water, return it to a service center.
Do not operate blowers in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Blowers create sparks which may ignite the dust or
fumes.
Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
Do not charge the battery pack outdoors.
Do not charge the battery pack in rain or in wet locations.
Use the battery operated blower only with specifically designated battery pack. Use of
any other batteries may create a risk of re.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection
from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns
or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical
help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance
outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at
temperatures outside of the specied range may damage the battery and increase the risk of
re.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power
blower. Do not use the blower while tired, upset, or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating blowers may result in
serious personal injury.

Avoid accidental starting. Be sure that the switch is in the locked or off position before
inserting the battery pack. Carrying blowers with your nger on the switch or inserting the
battery pack into a blower with the switch on invites accidents.
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,
hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions.
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1 along
with hearing protection when operating this equipment. Everyday glasses have only
impact resistant lenses. They are NOT safety glasses. Following this rule will reduce the risk
of eye injury.
Do not use on a ladder, rooftop, tree, or other unstable support. Stable footing on a solid
surface enables better control of the blower in unexpected situations.
Always take care of your feet, children, or pets around you when removing the battery pack
from blower. Serious injury could result if the battery pack falls. NEVER remove the
battery pack when in a high position.
Do not use the blower if switch does not turn it on or off. A blower that cannot be
controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Detach the battery pack from the blower before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing the blower. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the blower accidentally.
Turn off all controls before removing the battery.
DO NOT attempt to clear clogs from the unit without first removing the battery.
Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other
condition that may affect the blower’s operation. If damaged, have the blower serviced
before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained blowers.
Keep the blower and its handle dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Always use a
clean cloth when cleaning. Never use brake uids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, or any
strong solvents to clean your blower. Following this rule will reduce the risk of loss of control
and deterioration of the enclosure plastic.
Protect your lungs. Wear a face or dust mask if the operation is dusty. Following this rule
will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
Protect your hearing. Wear hearing protection during extended periods of operation.
Following this rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
Wear heavy long pants, long sleeves and boots. Avoid loose garments or jewelry that
could get caught in moving parts of the machine or its motor.
Do not operate the equipment while barefoot or when wearing sandals or similar
lightweight footwear. Wear protective footwear that will protect your feet and improve your
footing on slippery surfaces.
Battery powered blowers do not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet; therefore,
they are always in operating condition. Be aware of possible hazards when not using
your battery powered blower or when changing accessories. Following this rule will
reduce the risk of electric shock, re, or serious personal injury.
Do not incinerate the appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode
in a re.
Batteries can explode in the presence of a source of ignition, such as a pilot light. To
reduce the risk of serious personal injury, never use any cordless product in the presence of
open ame. An exploded battery can propel debris and chemicals. If exposed, ush with water
immediately.
Keep firm footing and balance. Do not overreach. Overreaching can result in loss of
balance.

Check the work area before each use. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass,
nails, wire, or string which can be thrown by or become entangled in the machine.
Do not point the blower tube in the direction of people or pets.
Never run the unit without the proper equipment attached. Always ensure that the
blower tube is installed.
When not in use, the blower should be stored indoors in a dry, secure place out of the
reach of children.
Keep all bystanders, children, and pets at least 50 ft. away.
Never use the blower near fires or hot ashes. Use near res or ashes can spread res and
result in serious injury and/or property damage.
Never use blower to spread chemicals, fertilizers, or any other toxic substances.
Spreading these substances could result in serious injury to the operator or bystanders.
Never place the blower on any surface, except a hard, clean surface when the engine
is running. Gravel, sand, and other debris can be picked up by the air inlet and thrown at the
operator or bystanders, causing possible serious injuries.
WARNING To ensure safety and reliability, all repairs should be performed by a
qualified service technician.
Blower service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service or
maintenance performed by unqualied personnel may result in a risk of injury.
When servicing a blower, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instructions in the
Maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow Maintenance
Instructions may create a risk of shock or injury.
Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to re or
temperature above 212 °F (100°C) may cause explosion.
Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others who may
use this tool. If you loan this tool to someone else, also loan these instructions to them to
prevent misuse of the product and possible injury.

Safety Symbols
The purpose of safety symbols is to attract your attention to possible dangers. The safety
symbols and the explanations with them deserve your careful attention and understanding.
The symbol warnings do not, by themselves, eliminate any danger. The instructions and
warnings they give are no substitutes for proper accident prevention measures.

and “CAUTION” before using this tool. Failure to following all instructions listed below may

The denitions below describe the level of severity for each signal word. Please read the manual
and pay attention to these symbols.
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to potential
personal injury hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this
symbol to avoid possible injury or death.
DANGER DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will
result in death or serious injury.
WARNING WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could
result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION CAUTION, used with the safety alert symbol, indicates a hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, will result in minor or moderate injury.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product damage due to
a short circuit, never immerse your tool, battery pack or charger in
fluid or allow a fluid to flow inside them. Corrosive or conductive uids, such as seawater,
certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach-containing products, etc. can cause a short
circuit.
WARNING If any parts are damaged or missing, do not operate this product until
the parts are replaced. Use of this product with damaged or missing parts
could result in serious personal injury.
WARNING Do not attempt to modify this tool or create accessories not
recommended for use with this tool. Any such alteration or modication
is misuse and could result in a hazardous condition leading to possible serious injury.
WARNING Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the
manufacturer of this product. The use of attachments or accessories not
recommended can result in serious personal injury.
WARNING Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you careless.
Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict
serious injury.

grass and twigs

To Attach/Detach Battery Pack
(Fig. 1)
WARNING Battery tools are always
in operating condition.
Therefore, remove the battery when
assembling parts, making adjustments,
cleaning, when the tool is not in use, or
when carrying it at your side. Removing the
battery pack will prevent accidental starting
that could cause serious personal injury.
To attach the battery pack:
• Align the ribs of the battery pack with the
mounting slots in the blower’s battery port.
• Press the battery pack toward the blower
body until it snaps into position.
NOTICE: Make sure that the battery pack is secured to the blower before beginning operation.
NOTICE: When placing the battery pack onto the tool, be sure that the raised rib on the
battery pack aligns with the groove inside the tool and that the latches snap into place
properly. Improper attachment of the battery pack can cause damage to internal components.
To detach the battery pack:
Depress the battery-release button located on the front of the battery pack to release the
battery pack. Pull the battery pack out and remove it from the tool.
To Assemble the Blower Tube
• Align the groove in the tube with the knob on the blower housing. Push the tube onto the
blower housing until it snaps into place (Fig. 2). Pull on the tube to ensure that it is securely
attached to the blower.
• Align the lock lever of the nozzle with the knob on the tube. Push the nozzle onto tube until it
snaps into place (Fig. 3).

• To remove the tube, press and hold down the tube-release button and then pull the tube
straight from the blower (Fig. 4).
• To remove the nozzle, depress the lock lever and pull the nozzle straight from the tube
(Fig. 5).

To Start/Stop the Blower
NOTICE: Before switching on the blower, en-
sure that it is not in contact with any object.
• Turn the on/off dial to position “1” to switch
the blower ON (Fig. 6).
• The air flow control can be adjusted from 1
to Max (maximum) by turning the dial wheel.
Adjust the speed to suit the task at hand.
• Turn the dial wheel to “0” position to switch
off the blower. After switching off the blower
the motor continues to run for a few seconds.

To Operate the Blower
• While working, always hold the blower by the
grip area(s) (Fig. 7).
• To keep from scattering debris, blow around
the outer edges of a debris pile. Never blow
directly into the center of a pile.
• To reduce sound levels, limit the number of
pieces of equipment used at any one time.
• Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris
before blowing. In dusty conditions, slightly
dampen surfaces if water is available.
• Conserve water by using power blowers
instead of hoses for many lawn and garden
applications, including areas such as gutters,
screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.
• Watch out for children, pets, open windows, or freshly washed cars, and blow debris safely
away.
• After using blowers or other equipment, clean up! Dispose of debris properly.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any
other parts could create a hazard or cause product damage.
Periodically inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws,
nuts, bolts, caps, etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not operate this product
until all missing or damaged parts are replaced. Please contact customer service or an
authorized service center for assistance.
Cleaning
WARNING To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack
from the tool when cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• Always keep tool clean (especially ventilation slots).
• Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage
from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.
• Wipe the surface with a dry cloth to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based
products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts.
Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
injury.
Storage
• Disconnect the battery pack.
• Clean all foreign material from the air inlets of
the blower.
• Store indoors in a place that is inaccessible
to children. Keep away from corrosive
agents, such as garden chemicals and de-
icing salts.
• Your blower is equipped with a storage rail for
hanging the blower. To use it, securely mount
the storage rail horizontally leveled on the
wall with 2 screws (not supplied). Use screws
sufficiently strong to hold the combined
weight of the blower and battery pack. Hang
the blower onto the storage rail using the
hook. (Fig. 8).
Service
WARNING Preventive maintenance performed by unauthorized personnel may
result in misplacing of internal wires and components which could
cause serious hazard. We recommend that all tool service be performed by a SKIL Factory
Service Center or Authorized SKIL Service Station.

TROUBLESHOOTING

LIMITED WARRANTY OF SKIL CONSUMER TOOLS
5 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Chervon North America, Inc. (“Seller”) warrants to the original purchaser only, that all SKIL
consumer TOOLS will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of ve
years from date of purchase, if original purchaser registers the product within 30 days from
purchase. BATTERIES AND CHARGERS are warranted for 2 years. Product registration
can be completed online at www.Registermyskil.com. Original purchasers should also retain
their receipt as proof of purchase. THE FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD FOR TOOLS IS
CONDITIONED ON REGISTRATION OF THE PRODUCT WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE.
If original purchasers do not register their product within 30 days of purchase, the foregoing
limited warranty will apply for a duration of three years for tools. All batteries and chargers will
remain under the two-year limited warranty.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a SKIL consumer tool is used for industrial, professional,
or commercial purposes, the foregoing warranty will apply for a duration of ninety days,
regardless of registration.
SELLER’S SOLE OBLIGATION AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY under this Limited
Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty or condition implied by law, shall
be the repair or replacement of parts, without charge, which are defective in material or
workmanship and which have not been misused, carelessly handled, or repaired by persons
other than Seller or Authorized Service Station. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty,
you must return the complete product, transportation prepaid, to any SKIL Factory Service
Center or Authorized Service Station. For Authorized SKIL Power Tool Service Stations,

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ROUTINE MAINTENANCE PARTS AND
CONSUMABLES THAT CAN WEAR OUT FROM NORMAL USE WITHIN THE WARRANTY
PERIOD, INCLUDING BLADES, TRIMMER HEADS, CHAIN BARS, SAW CHAINS, BELTS,
SCRAPER BARS, AND BLOWER NOZZLES.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO A PRODUCT SHALL BE LIMITED IN
DURATION EQUAL TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES APPLICABLE
TO SUCH PRODUCT, AS SET FORTH IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH ABOVE. SOME STATES
IN THE U.S., SOME CANADIAN PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW
LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO
YOU.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE DAMAGE RESULTING FROM MODIFICATION,
ALTERATION, OR UNAUTHORIZED REPAIR.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OF PROFITS)
ARISING FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT. SOME STATES IN THE U.S.
AND SOME CANADIAN PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION
OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR
EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES
Prenez toujours des précautions élémentaires lorsque vous utilisez un appareil électrique,
y compris les suivantes:

AVERTISSEMENT Pour réduire le risque d’incendie, de choc électrique ou de
blessure: familiarisez-vous avec votre soufeuse. Lisez
attentivement le mode d’emploi. Découvrez les applications et les limitations de la souf-
euse, ainsi que les dangers spéciques potentiels associés à cette soufeuse. Si vous
respectez ces instructions, vous réduirez les risques de choc électrique, d’incendie ou de
blessure grave.
Cette soufeuse est conçue à la fois pour une utilisation résidentielle uniquement.
Ne laissez pas la soufeuse sans surveillance lorsque des piles y ont été insérées. Reti-
rez les piles lorsque la soufeuse n’est pas utilisée et avant toute opération de maintenance.
Ne laissez pas des enfants se servir de la soufeuse comme s’il s’agissait d’un jouet.
Il est nécessaire de faire très attention si elle utilisée par des enfants ou si des enfants se
trouvent à proximité.
Utilisez seulement conformément aux instructions de ce mode d’emploi. Utilisez exclu-
sivement les attachements recommandés par le fabricant.
Ne touchez pas le chargeur, y compris la che du chargeur, ou les bornes du chargeur,
avec les mains mouillées.
N’insérez aucun objet dans l’une des ouvertures. N’utilisez pas la soufeuse si l’une
des ouvertures est obstruée ; ne laissez pas de poussière, de peluche ou de cheveux,
ou tout ce qui pourrait limiter la circulation de l’air, s’accumuler et boucher les ouver-
tures.
Tenez les cheveux, les vêtements amples, les doigts et toutes les parties du corps à
l’écart des ouvertures et des pièces mobiles. Les vêtements amples, les bijoux ou les che-
veux longs peuvent être aspirés dans les évents d’aération.
Fixez les cheveux longs au-dessus du niveau des épaules pour éviter qu’ils ne soient
attrapés dans les pièces mobiles.
Faites particulièrement attention lorsque vous faites du nettoyage dans un escalier.
Si la soufeuse ne fonctionne pas comme elle devrait, si elle est tombée, si elle est
endommagée, si elle a été laissée à l’extérieur ou si elle a été exposée à de l’eau, ren-
voyez-la à un centre de service après-vente.
Ne faites pas fonctionner les soufeuses dans des atmosphères explosives, par
exemple en présence de liquides, de gaz ou de poussières inammables. Les souf-
euses créent des étincelles qui peuvent enammer les poussières ou les fumées.
Utilisez seulement le chargeur qui a été fourni par le fabricant pour recharger.
Ne chargez pas le bloc-piles à l’extérieur.
Ne chargez pas le bloc-piles sous la pluie ou dans un endroit humide.
N’utilisez la soufeuse alimentée par des piles qu’avec un bloc-piles désigné spéci-
quement dans ce but. L’utilisation de toutes autres piles pourrait créer un risque d’incendie.
Lorsque le bloc-piles n’est pas utilisé, tenez-le éloignée des autres objets métalliques,
comme les trombones, les pièces de monnaie, les clés, les clous, les vis ou autres
petits objets métalliques, qui peuvent établir une connexion d’une borne à l’autre. Un
court-circuit entre les bornes du bloc-piles peut provoquer des brûlures ou un incen-
die.

Dans des conditions d’utilisation abusives, du liquide peut être éjecté des piles ; évitez
tout contact. En cas de contact accidentel, rincez avec de l’eau. Si le liquide entre en contact
avec les yeux, demandez également une aide médicale. Le liquide éjecté des piles peut pro-
voquer une irritation ou des brûlures.
Suivez toutes les instructions de charge et ne chargez pas le bloc-piles ou l’équipement
en dehors de la plage de température indiquée dans les instructions. Une charge incor-
recte ou à des températures en dehors de la plage spéciée peut endommager les piles et
augmenter le risque d’incendie.
Restez vigilant(e), surveillez ce que vous faites et faites preuve de bon sens lorsque
vous utilisez une soufeuse. N’utilisez pas la soufeuse lorsque vous êtes fatigué(e),
bouleversé(e) ou sous l’inuence de drogues, d’alcool ou de médicaments. Un simple
moment d’inattention pendant le fonctionnement de la soufeuse peut entraîner des blessures
graves.
Évitez les démarrages accidentels. Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur est en position
verrouillée ou éteinte avant d’insérer le bloc-piles. Le fait de porter des soufeuses avec
le doigt sur l’interrupteur ou d’insérer le bloc-piles dans une soufeuse avec l’interrupteur en
position de marche invite les accidents.
Utilisez des équipements de sécurité. Portez toujours une protection oculaire. Un
masque anti-poussière, des chaussures de sécurité antidérapantes, un casque de protection
ou une protection auditive doivent être utilisés dans des conditions appropriées.
Portez toujours une protection oculaire avec des écrans latéraux conformes à la norme
ANSI Z87.1 ainsi qu’une protection auditive lorsque vous utilisez cet équipement. Les
lunettes de tous les jours n’ont que des verres résistants aux chocs. Ce ne sont PAS des
lunettes de sécurité. Le respect de cette règle réduira le risque de blessure oculaire.
N’utilisez pas la soufeuse sur une échelle, sur un toit, sur un arbre ou sur tout autre
support instable. Une base stable sur une surface solide permet de mieux contrôler la souf-
euse dans des situations inattendues.
Faites toujours attention à vos pieds, aux enfants ou aux animaux domestiques qui vous
entourent lorsque vous retirez le bloc-piles de la soufeuse. Une chute du bloc-piles peut
entraîner des blessures graves. N’enlevez JAMAIS le bloc-piles lorsque vous êtes dans
une position surélevée.
N’utilisez pas la soufeuse si l’interrupteur ne permet pas de la mettre sous tension ou
hors tension. Une soufeuse qui ne peut pas être contrôlée par son interrupteur est dange-
reuse et doit être réparée.
Détachez le bloc-piles de la soufeuse avant d’effectuer des réglages, de changer
d’accessoire ou de ranger la soufeuse. Ces mesures de sécurité préventives réduisent le
risque de démarrage accidentel de la soufeuse.
Désactivez toutes les commandes avant de retirer le bloc-piles.
NE tentez PAS de retirer des obstructions de la soufeuse sans en avoir d’abord retiré
le bloc-piles.
Inspectez la soufeuse pour vous assurer qu’il n’y a pas de mauvais alignement ou de
grippage des pièces mobiles ou de bris de pièces, et qu’il n’existe aucune autre condi-
tion pouvant affecter le fonctionnement de la soufeuse. Si la soufeuse est endomma-
gée, faites-la réparer avant de l›utiliser à nouveau. De nombreux accidents sont causés
par des soufeuses mal entretenues.
Gardez la soufeuse et sa poignée sèches, propres et exemptes d’huile et de graisse.
Utilisez toujours un chiffon propre pour le nettoyage. N’utilisez jamais de liquides de frein,
d’essence, de produits à base de pétrole ou de solvants puissants pour nettoyer votre souf-
euse. Le respect de cette règle réduira le risque de perte de contrôle et de détérioration du
plastique qui entoure la soufeuse.

Protégez vos poumons. Portez un masque facial ou un masque anti-poussière si l’opé-
ration produit beaucoup de poussière. Le respect de cette règle réduira le risque de bles-
sure grave.
Protégez votre ouïe. Portez une protection auditive pendant les périodes d’activité pro-
longées. Le respect de cette règle réduira le risque de blessures graves.
Portez des pantalons longs et épais, des manches longues et des bottes. Évitez de por-
ter des vêtements amples ou des bijoux qui pourraient être happés par les pièces mobiles de
la machine ou par son moteur.
N’utilisez pas cet équipement les pieds nus ou en portant des sandales ou des chaus-
sures légères similaires. Portez des chaussures de protection qui protègent vos pieds et
réduisent le risque de glisser quand vous marchez sur des surfaces glissantes.
Les soufeuses électriques n’ont pas besoin d’être branchées dans une prise de cou-
rant ; elles sont donc toujours en état de marche. Soyez donc conscient(e) des dangers
possibles lorsque vous n’utilisez pas votre soufeuse à piles ou lorsque vous changez
d’accessoire. Le respect de cette règle réduira le risque de choc électrique, d’incendie ou de
blessure grave.
N’incinérez pas cet équipement, même s’il est gravement endommagé. Les piles risque-
raient d’exploser en cas d’incendie.
Des piles peuvent exploser en présence d’une source d’inammation, telle qu’une
veilleuse. Pour réduire le risque de blessures graves, n’utilisez jamais de produits sans l
en présence d’une amme nue. Une pile explosée peut propulser des débris et des produits
chimiques. En cas d’exposition, rincez immédiatement avec de l’eau.
Gardez l’équilibre à tout moment en vous tenant fermement sur les deux pieds. N’éten-
dez pas les bras trop loin. Sinon, cela risquerait de vous déséquilibrer.
Vériez la zone de travail avant chaque utilisation. Retirez tous les objets tels que les
pierres, le verre brisé, les clous, le l de fer ou la celle qui peuvent être jetés ou s’emmêler
dans la machine.
Ne dirigez pas le tube de la soufeuse dans une direction où se trouvent des personnes
ou des animaux domestiques.
Ne faites jamais fonctionner la soufeuse sans ses équipements appropriés. Veillez
toujours à ce que le tube de la soufeuse soit installé.
Quand elle n’est pas utilisée, la soufeuse doit être rangée à l’intérieur, dans un endroit
sec et sûr, hors de portée des enfants.
Demandez à toutes les personnes présentes, y compris les enfants, de rester à au
moins 15 m / 50 pi de la soufeuse, et empêchez également les animaux domestiques
de s’en approcher.
N’utilisez jamais la soufeuse à proximité de feux ou de cendres chaudes. Une utilisa-
tion à proximité de feux ou de cendres chaudes pourrait propager un feu et causer des bles-
sures graves et/ou des dommages matériels.
N’utilisez jamais la soufeuse pour répandre des produits chimiques, des engrais ou
d’autres substances toxiques. La projection de telles substances risquerait de causer des
blessures graves à l’opérateur ou aux autres personnes se trouvant à proximité.
Ne placez jamais la soufeuse sur une quelconque surface, sauf sur une surface dure
et propre, lorsque le moteur tourne. Du gravier, du sable et d’autres débris peuvent être
attirés dans l’orice d’admission d’air et être projetés sur l’opérateur ou sur des personnes se
trouvant à proximité, ce qui pourrait entraîner des blessures graves.
