1 ESCRIPTION
LPC-2.P02 control panel special mo ule is use for room temperature regulation.
Controller is equippe with temperature sensor, light intensity sensor an two push buttons:
“WARMER - ▲” an “COOLER - ▼”. To increase temperature set point “WARMER” push button is
use an to ecrease “COOLER” push button is use . Temperature set point comman or controller
switche off is represente with LED bar-graphs (refer to the Table 3). Light intensity sensor is
primary use for LED bar-graph intensity control, so LEDs o not isturb customer uring the night if
esire .
LPC-2.P02 has many integrate settings an functions which allows a aptation to require system
an regulation iagram. Settings can be one an functions can be enable or isable using LPC
Manager software.
Maximum an minimum temperature set point range can be set to scale temperature set point.
Default range is between 18 °C an 24 °C.
If economic function is set, controller will start cooling when room temperature will raise above
max. temperature set point an stop when temperature will rop 1 °C below max. temperature set
point. On the other han , when room temperature will fall below min. temperature set point
controller will start heating an stop when temperature will raise 1 °C above min. temperature set
point.
When four pipe ( efault) system is selecte , controller will activate hot comman when heating an
cool comman when cooling is require . In case of two pipe system selection, hot comman is
always activate when heating or cooling is require ( epen s on heating or cooling mo e
selection). For example that two pipe system, cooling mo e is selecte an room temperature is
higher than temperature set point on the control panel, controller will activate cooling with hot
comman (cool comman is off if heating or cooling is require ).
In case that balcony oor an /or win ow function is enable an oor an /or win ow contact is
opene , valves for heating or cooling will be close .
Frost protection function activates heat comman when room temperature measure by the panel
rops below 5 °C. This function has priority over all control panel integrate functions.
LPC-2.P02 control panel is possible to switch off using off comman is set from LPC Manager
software. In this case cool, heat comman s are switche off. Cool an heat comman s are also
switche off when temperature measure by the panel is insi e ea ban ( efault = 0.5 °C)
temperature values.
Control panel PI regulator output variable range is 0 to 10000. Values from 4999 own to 0
represents cooling an vales from 5000 up to 10000 represents heating.
Example: If proportional – P parameter ( efault = 25) is set to 1 an ifference between measure
temperature an temperature set point is +1 °C, the control panel regulator output value will be
5100. On the other han if the ifference is -1 °C, the control panel regulator output value will be
4900.
If integral – I parameter ( efault = 5) is set to 1 an ifference between measure temperature an
temperature set point is +1 °C, the control panel regulator output will increase every secon by 100.
On the other han if the ifference is -1 °C, the control panel regulator output will ecrease every
secon by 100.

LPC-2.P02 is connecte to the main mo ule RS-485 port using interconnection cable (e.g. SIC4-7)
which must be or ere together with LPC-2.P02 special mo ule. When more mo ules (e.g. LPC-
2.ID1, LPC-2.ID2, LPC-2.P01 or up to four LPC-2.P02) are connecte to main mo ule, splitter (e.g.
SPL-2) is also require (refer to the Figure 2).
LPC-2.P02 mo ule RS485 a ress (0..3) is selecte through two switches on the back si e of the
mo ule (refer to the Table 4).
NOTE: For proper system configuration an ata allocation please refer to LPC Composer software
help menu.

All connections, mo ule attachments an assembling must be one
while mo ule is not connecte to the main power supply.
The LPC-2.P02 mo ule shoul be positione on the wall insi e the
room. It is a vise to avoi irect sunlight or position near
heating/cooling source object. Roun flush-mounting box (e.g. Gewiss
GW 24232), Φ60 mm is recommen e for installation. A box must be
installe with screw holes in the horizontal position!
Mounting instructions:
1. Mount LPC-2.P02 mo ule back plate to the provi e levele place on the wall.
2. Fasten 2 screws (DIN 7981 or similar, Φ3 mm, max. head height 3 mm) to fix LPC-2.P01
mo ule to its place.
3. Connect interconnection cable to the interconnection connector K1. Max. allowe tractive
force is 30 N.
4. Set the correct RS-485 a ress (S1 switch) for LPC-2.P02 (refer to the Table 4).
5. Power (PWR) green LED shoul switch on accor ing to the Table 5.
6. Mount LPC-2.P02 mo ule front plate to the back plate.
7. Fasten the screw in the bottom carefully (not too strong), to fix the front plate to the back
plate.
NOTE: LPC-2 main mo ule shoul be powere separately from other electrical appliance connecte
to LPC-2 system. Signal wires must be installe separately from power an high voltage wires in
accor ance with general in ustry electrical installation stan ar .

Brief description
LPC-2.P02 control panel mo ule is use for room temperature regulation. This mo ule must be
connecte to LPC-2.MC7 mo ule on COM2. The RS485 a ress for an P01 mo ule can be set from 0
to 3. The a ress is set through two switches on the back si e of the mo ule. It has many integrate
settings an functions which allows a aptation to require system an regulation iagram. Settings
can be one an functions can be enable or isable through LPC Manager software.
