イーサネットオプション ESBK-7052は、エディットステーション
(EditStation™) ES-7のISAスロットに取り付ける基板で、イーサネット1) を
使用したES-7のネットワークへの接続を可能にします。ES-7で使用する
データをネットワーク経由で他の機器と交換するときに使用します。
以下のどの端子にケーブルを接続するかについては、ネットワーク管理者
にお問い合わせください。
1RJ-45端子
10base-Tツイストペアケーブルを接続します。
2AUI端子
10base-5同軸ケーブルを接続します。
3BNC端子
10base-2同軸ケーブルを接続します。

エディットステーションES-7に付属の取扱説明書の「第3章 接続と設定」
の「ISAスロットへ 取り付ける」を参照のうえ、本基板を取り付けてくださ
い。
ご注意
取り付ける前に、必ずES-7の電源を切ってください。
本基板を使用する前に、ドライバーソフトウェアをインストール する必 要 があ
ります 。以下の操作で、ログオンするときは必ずAdministratorsグループ
のメンバーのユーザー名およびパスワードを使ってください。
次の手順に従って操作します。
1ES-7の取扱説明書の「システムを起動する」の手順に従ってログオ
ンを行う。
デスクトップ画面が表示されます。
2ES-7に付属の「WindowsNT1)Workstation Version4.0」CD-
ROMディスクをES-7のCD-ROMドライブに入れる。

3タスクバーの「スタート」ボタンをクリックし、「設定」をポイントして「コ
ントロールパネル」をクリックする。
「コントロールパネル」ウィンドウが開きます。

4「コントロールパネル」ウィンドウの「ネットワーク」アイコンをダブルク
リックする。
次の画面が表示されます。
5「はい (Y)」ボタンをクリックする。
しばらくすると、次の画面が表示されます。

8「ネットワークアダプタ (A)」欄に「3ComEtherlinkIIIISA/PCMCIA
Adapter(検出)」が表示されていることを確認し、「次へ (N)>」ボタ
ンをクリックする。
次の画面が表示されます。
9「ネットワークプロトコル(P)」欄の「NetBEUIプロトコル」チェックボッ
クスのみをチェックし、「次へ (N)>」ボタンをクリックする。

12テキストボックスに半角で「D : ¥I386」と入力し、「続行」ボタンをク

13「I/Oポートアドレス (P)」欄に「0x300」、「割り込み番号 (I)」欄に
「10」が表示されていることを確認してから、「トランシーバの種類
(T)」欄のドロップダウンリストから使用するネットワークを選び、「続行」
ボタンをクリックする。
次の画面が表示されます。
14「OK」ボタンをクリックする。
インストールが 始まり、しばらくすると次の画面が表示されます。

15「次へ (N)>」ボタンをクリックする。
次の画面が表示されます。
16「次へ (N)>」ボタンをクリックする。
しばらくすると、次の画面が表示されます。

17「ワークグループ」または「ドメイン」の名前を入力し、「次へ (N)>」
ボタンをクリックする。
ワークグループまたはドメインに入力する名前については、ネットワー
ク管理者にお問い合わせください。
次の画面が表示されます。
18「完了」ボタンをクリックする。
次の画面が表示されます。
19「WindowsNTWorkstation Version4.0」CD-ROMディスクをES-
7 から取り出し、「はい (Y)」ボタンをクリックする。
ES-7のシステムがシャットダウンされた後、再び起動され、ESBK-
7052基板が使用できるようになります。
ネットワークに接続するES-7が1台のときは、これでインストールは 完
了です。ネットワークに2台以上のES-7を接続するときは、手順20 に
進んでください。

22「コンピュータ名 (N)」欄に新しい名前を入力し、「OK」ボタンをク
リックする。
ここで入力するコンピューター名は、ネットワークに接続されている他
のコンピューター名と重複しないようにしてください。詳しくはネット
ワーク管理者にお問い合わせください。

Overview
The ESBK-7052 Ethernet Option is an expansion board that
installs in an ISA slot of the ES-7 EditStation™ to make it
possible to connect the ES-7 to a network using Ethernet1). You
can use the network to exchange ES-7 data with other
equipment.
Contact your network administrator for information on which
of the following connectors to use for connection to your
network.
1RJ-45 connector
Connect a 10Base-T twisted pair cable.
2AUI connector
Connect a 10Base-5 coaxial cable.
3BNC connector
Connect a 10Base-2 coaxial cable.

For installation, refer to “Installing Expansion Boards in ISA
Slots” in Chapter 3 “Connections and Settings” in the
Operating Instructions supplied with the ES-7 EditStation.
Note
Be sure to power the ES-7 off before installing this board.
To use the expansion board, you will need to start the system
and install the driver software. When you start the system, be
sure to log on with the user name and password of a member of
the Administrators group.
To install the driver software, proceed as follows.
1Log on following the procedure explained in “Starting the
System” in the ES-7 Operating Instructions.
The desktop appears on the screen.
2Insert the Windows NT1) Workstation Version 4.0 CD-
ROM disc supplied with the ES-7 into the CD-ROM drive
of the ES-7.

3Click the Start button on the taskbar, point to Settings, and
