Live Monitoring Mode
While in the live monitoring mode, pressing the MENU button displays the following Live
Monitoring menu on the right edge of the screen. Pressing the ESC button hides the menu.
You can navigate through menus and items by pressing the arrow buttons.
• Login/Logout–Logginginoroutofthesystemwithusernameandpassword.
• Monitor–AllowsyoutoswitchbetweenPrimaryandSpotmonitors.
• Display–Allowsforselectingasinglecameraordifferentscreenformats.
• Freeze–FreezesthecurrentimageonthescreenuntilyouselectFreezeagain.
• Alarm–PressingAlarmresetstheDVR’salarmoutputsandinternalbuzzerduringanevent.
• DigitalDeterrent–AllowsyoutotriggerDigitalDeterrentmanually.
• Panic–Activatespanicrecordingforallcameras.
• Sequence–Causescamerastodisplaysequentially.
• CameraMenu–AllowsselectionofPTZ,DigitalZoom,Audio,Mic,ColorControl,
and Information.
• Search–ExitsLivemodeandentersSearchmode.
• Setup–ExitsLivemodeandenterstheMainSetupscreen.

the right edge of the screen. Pressing the ESC button hides the menu. You can navigate through

Search Mode
• EventLogSearch–Selecting(Search)→EventLogSearchselectsvideofromtheeventlog.
• RecordTableSearch–Selecting(Search)→RecordTableSearchselectsusingarecordingtable.
• MotionSearch–Selecting(Search)→MotionSearchselectsmotionevents.
• Text-InSearch–Selecting(Search)→Text-InSearchselectstextinputstrings.
• EZSearch–Selecting(Search)→EZSearchselectsvideoin4x4displayformatusingday,hour
or minute precision.

EZ Search Mode
YoucanentertheEZSearchmodebyselecting(Search)–EZSearchintheSearchmenu
whiletheDVRdisplaysacamerafullscreen.WhenenteringtheEZSearchmode,the
DVRwillplayvideoin4x4displayformatstartingwiththerstrecordedimageusingthe
Dayprecision(default).Therearethreeprecisionlevels:Day,HourandMinute.
WhileintheEZSearchmode,youwillneedtoselectthedesiredscreentile.
• Day–SelectthedesiredDaytileandpress(Play/Pause)button.
• Hour–SelectthedesiredHourtileandpress(Play/Pause)button.
• 2.5Min–Selectthe2andahalfminutetileandpress(Play/Pause)button.
• Theclipwillnowbeplaying.
ExittheEZSearchmodebypressingtheESCbuttonorselecting(Exit)inthe
EZSearchmenudisplayedwhenpressingtheMENUbutton.

EZ Copy
VideoclipscanbecopiedtoanexternalUSBharddiskorashdrive.Thecopiedvideo
clipscanbeviewedoncomputersrunningMicrosoftWindows2000,XP,Vistaor7.
HighlighttheboxbesideFrom/Toandpressthe(Play/Pause)buttontotogglebetweenOnandOff.
WhensettoOff,youcanenteraspecicDateandTime.WhensettoOn,thesearchwillbefrom
therstrecordedimage.
HighlighttheboxbesideChannelsandpressthe(Play/Pause)button.Youcanselectthecameras
thatyouwouldliketoincludeinyourvideoclip.
HighlighttheboxbesidePasswordandpressthe(Play/Pause)button.Avirtualkeyboardappears
allowing you to enter the password for reviewing the video clips.
HighlighttheboxbesideDest.andpress(Play/Pause)thebutton.Youcanselectthestoragedevice
onwhichyouwouldliketorecordthevideoclip.
StartbuttonbeginstheexportingofthevideotoyourDestinationdevice.(USBashdrive/HDD)
SelectingEZCopyintheSearch–ExportmenuorpressingtheCOPYbuttonduring
playbackwillsetthestartingpointofthevideotobeclipcopied,andtheicon
displaysatthebottom-leftcornerofthescreen.
SelectingEZCopyintheSearch–ExportmenuorpressingtheCOPYbuttonagainwill
settheendingpointofthevideotobeclipcopiedbydisplayingtheClip-Copyscreen.

PlugtheUSBashdriveorHDDintoyourPCandasimilarlewillbeshown.
TitleofthevideolestartswithYear,Month,Day.Doubleclickonthevideoleandaself
executableplayerwillopen.
WiththisplayeryoucanPlay,Pause,FF,RW,changedisplays,anddigitalzoom.
Playback on PC

TheCX/LXmodelsprovidemobilesurveillancesoftwareforviewingwithSmartphones.
•Oncetheappisopened,pressonthe+buttonatthetoprightandenterthesiteinformation.
•ClickSave.
•SelecttheSavedsitefromthelist.
•NowyouhavetheoptionofWatch,SearchandEdit.
•InWatch,youcanviewyourcamerasLive,changescreenlayouts,andlistentoaudio.
•InSearchyoucanPlaybackrecordedvideo.
