1. Carefully turn table top over onto clean,
soft surface then install Gate Leg (refer to
assembly direction # 939568007).
2. a) Locate bumper on leg as shown.
b) Attach by peeling paper backing and
press into place.

3. Slide modesty panel into slot on bumper
and adjust modesty panel location to leg to
plumb panel to leg in both directions.

4. Loosen end screws to provide
angular adjustment (2 or 4, dependant
on size of panel) as shown.
5. Attach modesty panel to worksurface
using screws provided as shown.
#10 x .875" screws
(9) screws per gusset

6. Install a pair of mounting brackets
onto the underside of top of adjoining
unit. Position brackets (a), drill pilot
holes (b), then secure with screws
provided (c).
7. a) Locate bumper on leg as shown.
b) Attach by peeling paper backing and
press into place.
8. Carefully turn glass modesty panel
assembly over and attach to adjacent
unit. Note: make sure panel slides
into slot in bumper, then secure
with remainder of screws in
mounting brackets.
Locate bumper approximately 1/4"
from bottom of case. It should also
be located back from the case so that
the glass modesty panel is vertically
straight and in alignment.

9. Check to see if unit is level.
10. Slide glide cover up and use tool
provided to adjust glide.
11. After glide is adjusted, slide glide
cover back down.
12. Tighten end screws (that were
loosened in step 4) to align glass
modesty panel and tighten when
glass is aligned.

TIP: Glide adjustment may
be necessary to improve
headset alignment.
NOTE: Glide adjustment tool is available through
Steelcase Service Parts (part number Y565727SR)

on Rectangular Column Leg
1. Carefully turn worksurface over onto
clean, soft surface.
2. Determine location of base.
NOTE: base may be located within 21”
from end of worksurface, but must be
centered side to side.
3. Lower base into place.
4. Secure with screws provided.

5. a) Locate bumper on leg as shown.
b) Attach by peeling paper backing and
press into place. c) Locate spacers under
gussets to provide clearance of metal
mounting plate on column leg.
6. Slide modesty panel into slot in bumper.
7. Loosen end screws to provide angular
adjustment (2 or 4, dependant on size of
panel) as shown.
8. Attach modesty panel to worksurface
using screws provided as shown.
9. Tighten end screws (2 or 4, dependent
on size of panel) that were loosened in
step 7.

10. Install a pair of mounting
brackets onto the underside of top

11. Carefully turn glass modesty
panel assembly over and attach to
adjacent unit.
TIP: Modesty Panel may overhang
the worksurface, depending on the
configuration. Install remaining #10
x .875" screws to overhanging part
of gusset (if any).

adjustment by 1/4” increments up to 2-1/4” maximum.
