INSTALLATION
1.- Locates an available USB port in the computer,, then connect
one end of a USB male cable (type A).
2.- Plug the other end into the base. The indicator LED will light
on.
3.- The computer will detect the new device and will update the
system automatically.
4.- After this process, you will be ready to use the device.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Before to begin the use of the device, it is necessary that you
place a CR2032 battery into the battery compartment. Make sure
to place it right, paying attention to polarity.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL WITH
PREDETERMINED APPLICATIONS
If you want to use the remote control with one of the
predetermined applications, follow these instructions:
1.- Press C button, once.
2.- Press the button of the application to be used (Real Player,

WinDVD, iTunes, Media Player, WinAmp, PowerPoint).
3.- Open the program that you want to use, from the computer
(must be the same as you selected in previous step).
4.- Begin the playback of music or video or slideshow.
5.- Now, you can use the remote control to raise or diminish
volume level, forward or backward, and stop or resume
playback.
If you opened a different program than selected in remote
control, the first one won’t works.
Make sure to aim the remote control directly to the base,
otherwise may not send the IR signal, correctly.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL AS A MOUSE
This remote control offers you the basic functions of a mouse.
Follow these instructions to know how to use it in this way:
1.- Press Mouse button.
2.- Use Cursor buttons to move the cursor over the screen.
3.- If you want to open a menu or choose an option, press Left /
Right buttons.
4.- Press C button when you don’t require to use the remote
control. Make sure to aim the remote control to the base,
otherwise, the IR signal may not send it correctly.

INSTALACIÓN
1.- Localice un puerto USB disponible en la computadora y
conecte un extremo de un cable USB macho tipo “A”.
2.- El extremo contrario del cable conéctelo a la base. El LED
indicador se encenderá.
3.- La computadora detectará el nuevo dispositivo y hará las
actualizaciones necesarias.
4.- Una vez que termine el proceso, estará listo para comenzar
a utilizar el equipo.
INSTALACIÓN DE BATERÍA
Antes de comenzar a utilizar el control remoto, es necesario que
coloque una batería CR2032 en el compartimiento de batería.
Asegúrese de colocarla en posición correcta, poniendo atención
a la polaridad.
USO DEL CONTROL REMOTO EN LAS
APLICACIONES PREDETERMINADAS
Para poder utilizar el control remoto con alguna de las
aplicaciones predeterminadas, siga estas instrucciones:
1.- Presione el botón de C una vez.
2.- Presione el botón del programa que desee controlar (Real

Player, WinDVD, iTunes, Media Player, WinAmp, PowerPoint).
3.- Abra el programa que quiere utilizar desde la computadora
(debe ser el mismo que seleccionó en el paso anterior).
4.- Comience la reproducción de música, vídeo o diapositivas.
5.- Ahora puede utilizar los botones del control remoto para
aumentar o disminuir volumen, adelantar o regresar, así como
detener o reanudar la reproducción del archivo elegido.
Si selecciona un programa diferente al que presionó en el
control remoto, éste no funcionará.
Asegúrese de apuntar el control remoto directamente a la
base, de otra forma podría no enviar la señal infrarroja de
manera adecuada.
USO DEL CONTROL REMOTO COMO RATÓN
Su control remoto le ofrece las funciones básicas de un ratón.
Para poder utilizarlo de esta forma, siga las siguientes
instrucciones:
1.- Presione el botón de Ratón.
2.- Utilice los botones de Cursor para mover el cursor a través
de la pantalla.
3.- Si requiere abrir un menú o seleccionar una opción, presione
los botones Derecho / Izquierdo del ratón.
4.- Una vez que ya no requiera utilizar el control remoto como
ratón, presione el botón de C.
Asegúrese de apuntar el control remoto directamente a la base,
de otra forma podría no enviar la señal infrarroja de manera
adecuada.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials
to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or
package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as well as warranty
service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries, failure
to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping,
among others.

Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y mano de obra,
contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso
sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir de la recepción
del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer
válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrónica
Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial donde
adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su
proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía, previa presentación de la nota de compra o
factura respectiva.
