INSTALLING BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE CONTROL
Remove the battery compartment cover.
Place 2 AAA batteries, pay attention to polarity.

CONNECTING THE RECEIVER
Plug the mini USB connector into the receiver.
Then connect the end of the cable into an available USB port in the
computer.

To conrm if the receiver has connected to PC properly, select My PC,
and click the right button of the mouse to select Properties, Hardware,
Device Manager and you can see next two options (marked in the gure),
indicating the device was properly connected.
For an optimum performance, make sure the operation distance
between remote control and receiver does not exceed 20ft.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
This remote control can control the Media Center and several functions
of the computer. Drivers are not required. Aim the remote control to the
receiver and press the desired buttons.

Press power key to close the current

6. Replay
For TV mode, go back 6 seconds. For Album or Playlist mode, it will
play the previous chapter.
7. Fwd
Speed up the current song; if you press the button repeatedly, the
cycles goes through three different speeds from slowest to fastest.
8. Pause
Make a pause in the current song. Press once again to resume the
playback.
9. Rew
Rewind the current song; if you press the button repeatedly, the cycles
goes through three different speeds from slowest to fastest.

Press to open the TV program list
11. MCE
Press to start Media Center, if Media Center is running, press to enter
main menu
12. DVD menu
Display DVD menu from current DVD or existed video les

materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product

CONECTANDO EL RECEPTOR
Inserte el conector mini USB en el receptor.
El extremo contrario conéctelo a un puerto USB disponible en la
computadora.
Conrme que el receptor ha sido conectado a la computadora
adecuadamente.

Seleccione la opción Mi PC en el escritorio de Windows, y con el
botón derecho del ratón seleccione la opción Propiedades, selección
Hardware, Administrador de dispositivos y podrá ver la siguiente
ventana con dos opciones (resaltadas en la gura), lo que indica
que el dispositivo se conectó adecuadamente a la computadora.
Para un óptimo desempeño, asegúrese de que la distancia de
operación entre el control remoto y el receptor no exceda de 6
metros.

UTILIZANDO EL CONTROL REMOTO
Este control remoto permite controlar las funciones de Windows Media
Center así como diversas funciones de la computadora. No se requieren
de drivers de instalación. Simplemente apunte el control remoto hacia el
receptor y presione los botones deseados.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE BOTONES
Para referencia, consulte la gura de la siguiente página.
1. Energía
Presione para apagar el programa actual; mantenga presionado para
entrar al modo de espera; presione una vez más para despertar la PC.
2. Detener
Detiene la reproducción actual. Presione Reproducir para comenzar
nuevamente con la pista actual desde el principio.
3. Grabar
Graba un programa de TV en el disco. Si presiona este botón mientras
LiveTV está encendido, graba el programa actual.
4. Saltar
En modo de Álbum o Lista de reproducción salta a la siguiente canción.
Para un programa de TV previamente grabado, salta 30 segundos
hacia delante.

5. Reproducir
Reproduce la canción seleccionada,
álbum o lista de reproducción.
6. Repetición
Para el modo de TV, regresa 6 segundos.
Para el modo de Álbum o lista de
reproducción, reproduce la canción
anterior. Para el modo de DVD,
reproduce el capítulo anterior.
7. Adelantar
Reproduce a mayor velocidad el archivo
actual; si se presiona repetidamente, el
ciclo pasa por 3 velocidades diferentes
desde el más lento al más rápido.
8. Pausa
Realiza una pausa a la canción actual.
Presione Pausa una vez más para
regresar a la reproducción normal.
9. Regresar
Reproduce a mayor velocidad el
archivo actual a una posición previa;
si se presiona repetidamente, el ciclo
pasa por 3 velocidades diferentes
desde el más lento al más rápido.

Presione para abrir la lista de programas de TV
11. MCE
Comienza Media Center, o permite entrar al menú principal del Media
Center en caso de que ya se esté ejecutando
12. Menú de DVD
Muestra el menú del DVD actual o de los archivos de vídeo existentes
13. Anterior
Presione para mover al elemento superior
14. OK
Selecciona el elemento activo
15. Arriba: Accede a la pantalla previa
16. Derecha: Se mueve a la derecha
17. Izquierda: Se mueve a la izquierda
18. Abajo: Accede al elemento inferior
19. Botón derecho e Información
Al igual que en el ratón, presione para activar las funciones el botón
derecho. Así también muestra información acerca del elemento
seleccionado.

20. Botón izquierdo
Misma función que el botón izquierdo del ratón.
21. Live TV
Cambia al modo de TV “en vivo” si no está ejecutando actualmente este
modo. Si el modo TV está pausado, salta a la programación actual.
22. Canales / Página
Cambia de canal o de página
23. Volumen
Sube o baja el volumen del reproductor de música en la PC
24. Grabación de TV
Accede a la página de programas de TV grabados
25. Botones S3 y S4
S3: Regresa
S4: Adelantar
26. Botones S1 y S2
S1: Inicia Internet Explorer (o el explorador de Internet
predeterminado)
S2: Abre Mis Favoritos
27. Silenciar
Silencia el sonido sin detener la reproducción. Presione este botón una
vez más para regresar el sonido a su estado normal.
