UNPACKING
Unpack the device carefully. Make sure there are no accessories left in the box. Check up the
device for damages; if the product was damaged during transportation, address the Þrm which
carried out the delivery; if the product functions incorrectly, address the dealer at once.
ATTENTION!
Do not switch on acoustic system immediately after you bring it in a room from environment with
negative temperature! Unpacked acoustic system should be placed in conditions of room’s
temperature at least 4 hours.

Caution! High voltage inside! To avoid the risk of electric
shock do not open or touch elements inside.
1. DESCRIPTION
BF-01 Multimedia Speaker System 2.0 (MSS) is designed to play music and sound games, movies
etc. The MSS has a built-in power ampliÞer due to which it can be connected to virtually any audio
source (CD/DVD-players, TV, PC, etc.) without using an additional power ampliÞer. One speaker is
active (it has a built-in power ampliÞer of MSS and a control panel), the other one is passive. The
MSS can be connected to an active subwoofer.
2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
•To avoid electric shock do not open the MSS and do not perform repairs by yourself.
•Do not allow circuit of wires (including grounded ones) between speakers, power ampliÞer or
ground, for it causes damage of power ampliÞer output stage.
•Do not put foreign objects inside the holes of the MSS. Make sure that needles, hair pins, coins,
insects etc. do not get inside.
•Protect the MSS from high humidity, water and dust. Do not locate it in areas with high level of
humidity and dust.
•Protect the MSS from heating: do not locate it near a heat source or expose to direct sunlight.
•Do not use gasoline, alcohol or other solvents when cleaning, since they may damage the
paint-coated surface of the MSS. Clean it with dry soft cloth only.
•If the MSS does not operate, unplug it and address your dealer.

5. LOCATING
•Place the speakers symmetrically to the listener at
a distance not less than one meter.
•Place the MSS far away from TV sets, as insigniÞcant
image distortion in supersensitive monitors and TV
sets is possible.

7. INSTALLATION AND OPERATION GUIDE
BF-01 Multimedia Speaker System can be connected to virtually any audio source: DVD/CD, PC
sound card, etc. and, if necessary, can be connected to an active subwoofer (see connection
diagram, Fig. 2).
•Before connecting, make sure that the MSS is unplugged. Then connect the speakers to each
other. For this purpose insert the connector of the acoustic cable built into the passive speaker into
L-SPK ginput on the rear panel of the active speaker (see connection diagram, Fig. 2).
•Plug the RCA connectors of the stereo signal cable to INPUT R/L eof the MSS, and connect the
mini-jack (3.5 mm) of the signal cable (2RCA to mini-jack 3.5 mm stereo signal cable included) to
the audio output (Ø 3.5 mm) of an audio source.
•To connect the MSS to CD/DVD/MP3-players or TV, it is necessary to use a 2RCA to 2RCA stereo
signal cable (not included). For this purpose the RCA cable should be connected to INPUT R / L e
of the MSS: the red connector should be connected to the red port (R), the white connector should
be connected to the white port (L) of the audio source (see connection diagram, Fig. 2).
•BF-01 Multimedia Speaker System can be connected to an active subwoofer, which allows to
make speaker system 2.1.

Notes:
•To connect a subwoofer (not included) to the MSS, use SUB.OUT port fon the active
speaker rear panel.
•Check Þxation of wires in connection terminals (otherwise there can be considerable
noise during sound reproduction), polarity and absence of circuit between wires and metal
parts of equipment.
•Plug power cable iinto the mains outlet. Set volume level to minimum by turning VOLUME
control knob bcounterclockwise until it stops.
•Shift POWER switch hinto ON position, power LED awill illuminate.
•Turn on the audio source.
•Adjust volume level by turning VOLUME control knob b. By turning the knob clockwise, volume
level increases, and by turning the knob counterclockwise, it is reduced.
•Adjust bass and treble levels by turning TREBLE control knob dand BASS control knob c
respectively. By turning the knob clockwise, treble/bass level is increased, by turning the knob
counterclockwise, it is reduced.
Notes:
• After using the MSS, mind to the unplug power cable of the device from the mains
socket.
• To improve sound quality, use Line-Out output of the sound card.
