Installation
Tools required (not included)
• 5 mm Allen Wrench

What’s Included
1. Remove DuoStand (Gen 1) from bike. (Note the assembly order of the bolts and hardware.)
For DuoStand (Gen 2) owners, do not remove the DuoStand from the bike.
2. Measure and use the hacksaw to shorten the legs of the DuoStand (Gen 1). Use the hand file to smooth the metal burrs.
3. Install DuoStand Ends. Loosely tighten the bolts. Bolts will be fully tightened after height adjustments are completed in Step 5.
4. Reinstall the DuoStand (Gen 1).

5. Measure the distance from the bottom of the rear tire to the ground and adjust the height of the DuoStand.
The recommended clearance from the bottom of the rear wheel to the ground is 10 - 20 mm (2/5” - 4/5”). If adjustment is needed, loosen the
bolts on the DuoStand Ends to raise or lower the legs.
Optional: Install the Lockstand™Extensions
For maximum stability when parked, install the Lockstand Extensions which are available for purchase from your local Tern dealer.
