Installatie
1. Ga naar www.tiptel.nl of www.tiptel.be om de
Skype software, voor gratis bellen via internet, te
downloaden. Volg hiervoor het volgende pad:
Producten / VoIP / Skype producten. Klik op de
- button bij de tiptel 118 USB phone, daarna op
Downloads en op Skype software.
2. Installeer de Skype software.
3. Sluit de USB stekker van de tiptel 118 USB phone
aan op de USB poort van uw PC of of laptop.
4. Vervolgens download u de tiptel 118 USB phone
Drivers. De tiptel 118 USB phone Drivers kunt u
vinden via het hierboven beschreven pad en klik
bij de Downloads op tiptel 118 USB phone Driver
om de Driver te downloaden.
5. Start het setup.exe bestand door op uitvoeren te
klikken. Volg nu de aanwijzingen op uw computer.

Gebruik
1. Na het installeren van de tiptel 118 USB phone
drivers kunt u via uw PC telefoneren.
2. Verder informatie en tips over het gebruik van de
Skype software kunt u vinden op www.skype.com.
3. Een uitgebreidere gebruiksaanwijzing voor de
installatie en oplossingen bij problemen kunt u

Garantie
Met de tiptel 118 USB phone heeft u de beschikking
over een modern USB telefoontoestel. Kwalitatief
hoogwaardige onderdelen en moderne
productietechnieken garanderen optimale
betrouwbaarheid.
De tiptel 118 USB phone wordt geleverd met een
garantie van 24 maanden.
De garantie vervalt wanneer:
de typesticker verwijderd of beschadigd is; het geen
fabrieksfout is; de gebruiksaanwijzing niet is
geraadpleegd (bedieningsfout); de aankoopbon niet
overlegd kan worden en/of gewijzigd is; reparaties
door anderen dan Tiptel zijn verricht; gegevens op
de herkomststicker van de tiptel 118 USB phone
zijn gewijzigd of verwijderd; een defect een gevolg
is van externe (buiten het toestel gelegen)
oorzaken, bijvoorbeeld blikseminslag,
overspanning, wateroverlast of brand.

* Die Funktion der Tasten hängt von den Möglichkeiten
der eingesetzten IP-Telefonie- Software ab. Ggf. kann
auch die komplette Tastatur ohne Funktion sein.
Installation
Für eine optimale Funktion dieses tiptel 118 USB phone
empfehlen wir die Installation der entsprechenden
Gerätetreiber. Diese müssen installiert sein, bevor Sie
das Gerät an einen USB-Anschluss Ihres Rechners
stecken. Die Treiber finden Sie auf unsere Website:
1. Gehen Sie auf www.tiptel.org und wählen Sie das
gewünschte Land. Es öffnet sich die
Landesspezifische tiptel-Startseite. Klicken Sie links
unten auf VoIP und dann weiter bei die tiptel 118
USB phone auf .
2. Unter “Download“ laden Sie bitte den aktuellen
USB-Treiber für das Gerät herunter. Entpacken Sie
die ZIP-Datei in ein Verzeichnis, und merken Sie
sich dieses Verzeichnis.

3. Gehen Sie in das Verzeichnis und doppelklicken
Sie auf “setup.exe“. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen
auf Ihrem PC.
4. Nachdem die Treiber installiert sind, verbinden Sie
den USB-Anschluss des tiptel 118 USB phone mit
einem freien USB-Anschluss Ihres PCs. Sollte Ihr
PC über eine nicht USB-konforme Schnittstelle
verfügen (teilweise bei Notebooks), wird das
Telefon u.U. nicht richtig erkannt. Sie können sich
behelfen, indem Sie zwischen Telefon und
USB-Ausgang Ihres PCs einen USB-Hub
(möglichst aktive Ausführung) verwenden.
5. Halten Sie Ihre Original-Windows-CD bereit, es
kann sein, dass Sie aufgefordert werden, diese
einzulegen.
6. Laden Sie sich die Telefonie-Software Skype°
herunter. Sie finden den Link zur Software auf
unserer Homepage am Ende der
Leistungsübersicht des tiptel 118 USB phone.
7. Installieren Sie diese Software. Sie können jetzt mit
Ihrem tiptel 118 USB phone über den PC
telefonieren.
8. Sollten Sie Fragen zur Bedienung der Telefonie-
Software haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an Skype°.
Gewährleistung und Service
Ihre Ansprechstelle für Leistungen aus
Gewährleistungsverpflichtungen ist der Fachhändler,
bei dem Sie das Gerät erworben haben.
Die TIPTEL AG leistet für Material und Herstellung des
tiptel 118 USBphone eine Gewährleistung von 2 Jahren
ab der Übergabe.
Sollten einmal Probleme auftreten oder haben Sie
Fragen zur Bedienung des Gerätes, wenden Sie sich
bitte an Ihren Fachhändler. Dieser ist innerhalb der
Gewährleistungszeit Ihr Ansprechpartner.
Die TIPTEL AG hat für den technischen Support des
Fachhandels eine spezielle Rufnummer eingerichtet, so
dass dieser Sie qualifiziert beraten kann.

Installation
1. Téléchargez sur le site www.tiptel.be ou
www.tiptel.fr le logiciel Skype qui vous permet de
téléphoner gratuitement par internet. Le logiciel se
trouve en dessous de Produits / VoIP / Produits
Skype. Cliquez sur l’icône du tiptel 118 USB
phone, ensuite sur Downloads et enfin sur Skype
Software.
2. Installez le logiciel Skype.
3. Connectez la prise USB du tiptel 118 USB phone
au port USB de votre PC ou ordinateur portable.
4. Ensuite téléchargez gratuitement le Pilotes tiptel
118 USB phone. Suivez les étapes décrites ci-
dessus et cliquez sur Downloads et sur Pilotes
tiptel 118 USB phone pour télécharger celui-ci.
5. Démarrez le fichier setup.exe en cliquant sur
“executer”. Suivez ensuite les instructions à
l’écran.

Utilisation
1. Après l’installation du Pilotes tiptel 118 USB phone
vous êtes en mesure de téléphoner par votre
ordinateur.

l’utilisation du logiciel Skype, visitez
www.skype.com
3. Un mode d’emploi plus détaillé pour l’installation et
la résolution de problèmes est disponible sur le

Garantie
Avec le tiptel 118 USB phone vous disposez d’un
téléphone USB moderne et fiable. Aussi bien les
composants, tous de très haute qualite, que les
techniques de production utilisées vous garantissent
une fiabilité optimale.
Le tiptel 118 USB phone est livré avec une garantie de
24 mois.
La garantie n’est pas d’application dans les cas
suivants :
L’étiquette type a été enlevée ou est endommagée ; il
ne s’agit pas d’une erreur de fabrication ; le mode
d’emploi n’a pas été consulté (erreur de manipulation) ;
le bon d’achat ne peut être présenté ou a été modifié ;
des réparations ont été effectuées par d’autres que
Tiptel ; l’étiquette de provenance a été modifiée ou
enlevée, la panne est due à une cause externe (cause
externe à l’appareil) par ex. : foudre, surtension,
inondation, incendie, …

Installation
1. In order to download the telephony software
Skype®proceed to www.tiptel.org and choose the
requested country. The country specific tiptel
homepage is opening. Click down left on “VoIP”,
and then, under tiptel 118 USB phone on . You
can find the link to the telephony software Skype®
at the end of the list of features of the tiptel 118
USB phone.
2. Install this software.
3. Connect the USB plug of the tiptel 118 USB phone
to a free USB port of our PC or laptop.
4. Download the tiptel 118 USB driver. You can find
the link to the tiptel 118 USB driver on our

homepage under the downloads of the tiptel 118
USB phone.
5. Double-click on “set-up.exe” and follow the
instructions on your PC.
Using the tiptel 118 USB phone
1. After installing the software for the tiptel 118 USB
phone you can make telephone calls with your
tiptel 118 USB phone via the PC.
2. In case of any questions regarding the handling of
the telephony software, please contact Skype®.

Guarantee and service

Within the European Community the following
guarantee regulation applies:
Your contact for services arising from guarantee
obligations is the authorised dealer where you bought
the device.
TIPTEL AG will grant a guarantee of 2 years from the
date of handover for the material and for the
manufacturing of the telecommunications terminal unit.
If, however, problems occur or you have questions on
